Jets' Robby Anderson Pleads Not Guilty In Crazy Speeding Arrest

Published | Updated

NY Jets star Robby Anderson has pled NOT GUILTY to several felony charges stemming from his January arrest ... in which the officer claims the WR threatened to find his wife, "f*ck her and nut in her eye."

As we previously reported ... cops say Anderson was clocked doing 105 mph in a 45 mph zone in the early hours of Jan. 19 in Broward County, FL ... and cussed out cops like a maniac during the stop.

At one point, cops say Anderson threatened to sexually assault an officer's wife -- and described it in graphic detail.

Anderson was hit with 9 criminal charges including 3 felonies (harming a public servant, fleeing and eluding and reckless speeding).

Harming a public servant charge carries a maximum 15 years in prison.

But according to court records, Anderson's attorneys appeared in court on his behalf on Monday and pled not guilty to all of the charges.

Anderson is now demanding a jury trial -- though it's still possible (likely) the two sides hammer out a plea deal before it ever gets to a jury.

Oakland Raiders To Sean Smith Accuser: Don't Blame Us for Alleged Beatdown

Published | Updated

The Oakland Raiders are firing back at the man who sued the NFL team over an alleged attack at the hands of star cornerback Sean Smith ... claiming the team has NOTHING to do with the incident.

The accuser is Christopher Woods -- who claims Smith beat the hell out of him on July 4, 2017 outside of a bar in Pasadena, CA.

Wood not only sued Smith -- but also went after the Raiders claiming the team's aggressive strength and conditioning programs turned Smith into a human-wrecking machine. Wood also claimed Smith was in town as part of a team-sponsored promotional and marketing trip.

But the Raiders are calling B.S. -- claiming "the alleged assault has no conceivable nexus to the Raiders or Smith's employment with the Raiders."

The team essentially says in new docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court ... if the allegations are true, Smith acted on his own -- your beef is with him, not us.

As we previously reported, Wood claims Smith stomped on his face during the incident -- causing multiple facial fractures that required surgery. Wood claims he suffered brain damage.

The Raiders are asking the judge to toss the suit against the team. There's a hearing on the matter in February.

Larry Nassar Begs Judge to Stop Witness Statements ... 'Mental Health' Concerns

Scumbag convicted sexual predator Larry Nassar wrote a letter to the court begging to end the witness statements ... saying the terrible stories of sexual assault are damaging his mental health.

Don't worry ... the judge shot his pathetic ass down.

The former Team USA gymnastics doctor was convicted on 7 felony sexual assault charges -- and his victims were invited to share impact stories to the court before the sentencing phase.

So far, 50 women shared their stories about how Nassar molested them while telling the women he was performing routine medical exams.

Some women have told Nassar he broke them emotionally. Some women shared how they considered killing themselves. There are still 51 more women scheduled to speak.

But Nassar wants out ... and wrote a letter to the court begging officials to make it stop -- calling the whole thing a "media circus" that was "detrimental to his mental health."

Judge Rosemarie Aquilina fired back in open court -- telling Nassar, "This isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, there’s no truth in there, it’s delusional" -- noting he agreed to hear the witness statements as part of his plea deal.

"I didn't orchestrate this, you did," she told Nassar.

"Spending four or five days listening to them is significantly minor considering the hours of pleasure you’ve had at their expense and ruining their lives."

The 51 women will proceed with their statements as planned.
