Master P teamed up with a cannabis company to help spread his own brand of bud across California, but it bailed on him and cost him millions ... according to a new suit.

The rap mogul joined the legal cannabis industry in November 2016 with the launch of his brand, Master P's Trees ... and claims he struck a deal with Privateer Holdings in March 2017 to produce and distribute his products in Cali.

According to the docs ... the deal was for 1 year, and Master P would promote the brand and cover half the production costs -- profits would be split down the middle. The official product launch was set for a July music fest where P was performing.

Problem is -- according to the suit -- Privateer reneged on the deal in late July and left Master P holding the bag.

The rapper's suing for breach of contract and fraud, claiming Privateer never really wanted to work with him but rather get "an inside look into the urban and hip-hop demographic of cannabis users" for its own benefit.

The FOX sitcom, "The Mick," was totally nicked from a veteran Hollywood writer who says there's hard proof right in the script ... according to the lawsuit he's filed.

Wyndham Lewis, who's written several seasons of "Nurse Jackie," says he wrote a script in 2015 for a show he called "The Godmother." It was about an irresponsible "black sheep" aunt who suddenly has to care for spoiled rich kids of white-collared criminals. Sound familiar? Yeah, it's the same theme as "The Mick," which stars Kaitlin Olson in the black sheep role.

Lewis says he submitted his script to a FOX exec, named Jen Carreras, but ultimately never struck a deal. Fast forward to January 2016 when -- according to docs obtained by TMZ -- Lewis found out FOX was developing the show he calls a "rewrite" of his 'Godmother' script ... and Carreras was the development exec behind it.

Lewis believes he has a smoking gun, too. According to the suit, the script for a key scene in the FOX show contains a typo, referring to the main character, "Chip" as Grant. He says Grant is the name he gave that character in "The Godmother."

Translation: They changed the names to protect the guilty ... or so he claims.

An actress has just sued Harvey Weinstein, claiming he masturbated in front of her at a swanky Beverly Hills hotel and ultimately raped her.

The actress -- who is listed as Jane Doe in the lawsuit -- says she met Weinstein in 2011 and they attended events over the next few years. She does not describe the nature of the relationship.

She says in 2015 she met Weinstein at the Montage hotel to talk about a job on a show called "Marco Polo." She doesn't say, but presumably this happened in a hotel room. She says he gripped her wrists with one hand while using the other to masturbate in front of her until completion.

She goes on to say in 2016 she met him again at the Montage to "celebrate her upcoming role in 'Marco Polo.'" She says he excused himself, came back out in a bathrobe, grabbed her, threw her on the bed, pulled down her jeans and began orally copulating her. She says she pushed his head off and ordered him to stop. She says he then used his "massive weight and strength" to force himself on her, pushing his penis inside of her vagina without a condom.

She says she never actually got the "Marco Polo" role.

She is suing Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company -- she says the company was aware of his pattern of using the promise of jobs to coerce actresses to engage in sexual acts -- for sexual battery and gender violence.

Rose McGowan turned herself into cops in Virginia where she was arrested for an outstanding warrant for possession of cocaine.

Back in January, cops say they found a few small bags of cocaine in a wallet McGowan had left behind at the airport. A felony warrant was issued last month for her arrest, and the actress surrendered Tuesday to the Sheriff's Department in Loudoun County, Virginia.

After cops snapped her mug shot, Rose was released on a $5,000 bond.

She faces up to a year in prison if convicted. Shortly after news of the warrant came out, Rose made it clear the case wouldn't stop her from speaking out against Harvey Weinstein and supporting victims of sexual misconduct.

The lawyer for Tyrese Gibson's ex-wife, Norma, just told the court it's essential for the judge in their custody war to demand a mental evaluation of the actor in light of recent, bizarre actions.

Attorney Aleen Khanjian was referring to the various videos Tyrese has posted, referencing Norma and Shayla.

Khanjian also mentioned in court a court-appointed evaluator has referred to Tyrese as having a "mental illness."

Norma is going for a permanent restraining order against Tyrese and she argued Tuesday he's violated the temporary order by posting videos talking about 10-year-old Shayla.

The judge did not order a mental evaluation ... at least not yet.

Meek Mill's lawyers have just filed legal docs asking the judge who sentenced him to years in prison to take herself off the case because of inappropriate conduct.

Meek's lawyers claim Judge Genece Brinkley has a personal vendetta against Meek, in particular for not leaving his music team at Roc Nation for another music producer ... Charlie Mack. As we reported, we're told the FBI has been in Judge Brinkley's courtroom for more than a year during the various hearings, monitoring her conduct.

There are reports the judge has some sort of business relationship with Charlie Mack ... something Mack has denied.

Meek's legal team strongly hints the judge has a vendetta -- pointing out she made a "surreptitious visit to the community service site" where the rapper was scheduled to serve meals to the homeless. They claim that move was out of line for a judge.

Mira Sorvino and Christopher Backus' 11-year-old son just scored a big payday for suffering a traumatic dog attack when he was a young child.

According to new legal docs ... Mira took her son, Johnny Backus, with her to a house she was looking to buy on a night in September 2013 when the owner's dog went after him, biting and lacerating his legs and knees. Johnny -- who was 7 at the time -- had to be treated and stitched up at the hospital.

According to the docs ... Mira's son has recovered from the injuries but was left with some scarring. He was also traumatized and became fearful of dogs. His doctor says he's regained some confidence by being around his family's dogs.

Meek Mill might have caught a huge break in his probation case and subsequent prison sentence fight -- 'cause the FBI is probing the judge who threw him back in jail ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Judge Genece Brinkley is being investigated by the FBI for possible relationships she might have in Philly -- including to a local music mogul, Charlie Mack, whom she asked Meek to sign with -- as well as a possible extortionate demand. The New York Post broke the story.

Undercover agents have reportedly been in the courtroom following Meek's case since April 2016, during which Mack allegedly once told Meek he knew the judge and could help him with his case. Mack has denied that claim.

As we reported ... Meek's lawyer says Judge Brinkley also once asked Meek to do a remix to a Boyz II Men song and to give her a shout-out on it, and that her harsh sentence was a result of him shooting her down.

Meek Mill's supporters filled the streets of Philadelphia to demand his release from prison ... as Rick Ross and Dr. J provided some inspiration.

The #FreeMeek campaign got several hundred people marching Monday evening, with his label honcho, Rick, right in the middle of action.

NBA Hall of Famer, Dr. J made a speech to the crowd, but was nearly drowned out by "Free Meek" chants. In addition to the rally, an online petition pushing for Meek's release now has over 350,000 signatures.

EDM star The Gaslamp Killer is attempting to turn the tables on 2 women who publicly claimed he drugged and raped them ... by suing them for defamation.

GLK, whose real name is William Bensussen, just filed suit against Chelsea Tadros, RaeAn Medina and one of their boyfriends. Last month, Chelsea claimed in a tweet the DJ drugged and assaulted her and her best friend in 2013.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, GLK calls BS on Chelsea's allegation. However, he admits having a consensual 3-way with the women. He says there's a witness who saw him buy drinks for the women without tampering -- and also says they propositioned him ... not the other way around.

He claims the bf's been spreading Chelsea's allegation online ... so he's included him in the lawsuit for unspecified damages.

A former Banana Republic employee says the company is racist because her bosses complained about her "urban" hairstyle.

Destiny Tompkins says she was hired as a sales rep at the BR in White Plains, NY -- and shortly after starting the job, the 19-year-old says she began wearing her hair in braids. According to a discrimination suit, that pissed off her managers.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, she says the store manager, who is white, approached her and told her that her braids were "too urban" and "unkempt" and didn't go with BR's image. Destiny interpreted that as "too black."

Destiny says she refused to change her hairstyle, and was taken off the store's work schedule. While she wasn't officially fired, she effectively was because she didn't get any shifts.

After she vented on Facebook ... Destiny says BR honchos fired the store manager.

Destiny's suing BR's corporate office, as well as the store and regional managers, for at least $1 million.

Meek Mill is getting some high-powered support -- Rick Ross and NBA legend Dr. J will lead a rally Monday afternoon in Philadelphia ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the rap honcho tell us Rick and Julius Erving are on a private jet right now heading to Philly. Several Philadelphia Eagles and other local entertainers are scheduled to show up at the event ... which has also been promoted by Kevin Hart and Diddy.

The rally comes on the heels of Meek being handed a controversial sentence last week that has sent him back to prison for 2-4 years after he violated his probation.

As we reported ... Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina, says the judge's harsh sentence is nothing more than the result of a personal vendetta against the rapper. His team has since said they'll be requesting a new judge ... and filing a petition to reverse his prison stint.

Meek Mill might need to answer some questions over a wrongful death lawsuit against him under oath while he's behind bars ... but there seems to be an easy fix.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the family of a man who was shot and killed outside of Meek's concert last year is asking a judge to give them the courtroom W if Meek doesn't submit answers to their questions under oath in the next 30 days.

As we reported ... the family, along with another man who was injured at the concert, are suing Meek for allegedly inciting the deadly violence with his murderous lyrics.

Meek's denied the allegations in court docs, but the family wants him to do one simple thing if the case is to continue ... sign his written answers to their questions -- aka under oath.

David Hasselhoff claims he's busted his ex-wife lying about being too injured to get a job, and there's video to prove it ... TMZ has learned.

The Hoff filed docs in his spousal support battle with Pamela Bach, and says her claim that a 2003 motorcycle accident is limiting her ability to find work is total BS. According to the docs, Pamela's been posting tons of social media showing herself getting very physical.

For instance, David says a Facebook video Pamela posted in April shows her running around on a basketball court, taking shot after shot. Worth noting ... she's not very good, so it's debatable if this helps or hurts the Hoff's case.

David says there's more video evidence -- a February post shows her smoking hookah and dancing in a nightclub with young men. Another shows her moving boxes of clothing, and maneuvering around mannequins.

Meek Mill's going after the judge he believes locked him up because of a personal vendetta ... TMZ has learned.

Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells us ... he's filing a motion for the judge to remove herself from his case, and will also be filing an official complaint with the judicial conduct board. As we reported, the judge allegedly has it out for Meek because he wouldn't do a Boyz II Men song with a shout out to her in the middle.

Tacopina feels the judge's bad blood led to the stiff sentence of 2 to 4 years for violating probation.

Tacopina says Meek will also be applying to Pennsylvania's Board of Pardons ... but we're told that's more of a Hail Mary because it's normally a 3-year process at least.

Usher's wife has something to say to all the folks accusing her husband of exposing them to herpes -- and it seems like she said it with the man himself 6 inches from her face.
