LeBron James Blasts NFL For Banning Tyreek Hill Cameraman ... 'S*** Ain't That Serious'

Published

LeBron James is racing to Tyreek Hill's cameraman's defense ... ripping the NFL for suspending the guy for his role in one of the Dolphins receiver's touchdown celebrations earlier this year.

The Lakers forward took to his Instagram page to blast The Shield late Wednesday evening ... just days after Hill's photog said Roger Goodell's league might remove him from its sidelines forever for participating in Hill's backflip celly during a game in October.

"Man," the NBA superstar wrote, "this is F'd UP!!!"

"Suspended for the year and possibly for good!" James added. "C'mon NFL! Do better! S*** ain't that serious."

A lot of people on social media certainly agreed with The King's stance ... because, after all, Hill's endzone party with his cameraman has so far been one of the best moments of the year in the NFL.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

It all happened back on Oct. 15 ... after Hill scored six against the Carolina Panthers.

Once he crossed the goal line, he raced through the endzone -- and when he noticed his photog and good pal Kevin Fitzgibbons filming him, he grabbed the guy's cam and performed a selfie backflip. Fitzgibbons jumped up and down, and Hill appeared to be in great spirits after it too.

The league, however, clearly didn't love it -- refs penalized Hill for it during the game for using a prop, and officials fined him for it afterward. Later, the league pulled Fitzgibbons' credentials for the remainder of the 2023 season as well.

In a video posted to his TikTok page this week, the 20-year-old photographer said he understood the NFL's decision ... and said he was grateful for the opportunity it gave him. He added that he hoped the league would let him back next year.

Hill, meanwhile, declined to publicly comment on the situation, writing on his X page, "I would comment but I could get fined."

Dr. Drew On Israel-Hamas War Child Hostages Scarred for Life ... Conflict Hardest on Developing Brains

Published

Dr. Drew Pinsky says children swept up in the war between Israel and Hamas are going to be dealing with the fallout for the rest of their lives, because it could very well rewire their brains.

The famous doc joined us for Thursday's "TMZ Live" to discuss the youngest hostages Hamas released this week to Israel. Although they seem okay, outwardly, Dr. Drew says, there's potential for tremendous internal damage involving the development of their brains.

As the trauma builds, Dr. Drew says most kids will start to shut down and dissociate ... and many will have their brains shattered and rewired, creating lasting psychological harm.

And, he adds this painful prognosis doesn't only apply to the hostages ... Drew says the ongoing conflict can have the same impact on children living in Gaza, surrounded by death and destruction.

Add in the fact some of these kids are coming off another traumatic experience during COVID shutdowns, and Dr. Drew explains why it's a toxic mix for youth.

He also warns the media attention the released hostages are getting can be problematic. While there's a natural desire to celebrate the young survivors ... he told us how having cameras and mics in their faces could make recovery more difficult for them.

'World's Saddest Elephant' Dies at Manila Zoo

Published | Updated

Mali, the "world's saddest elephant," has passed away following health complications after decades of confinement at Manila Zoo in the Philippines ... where she spent most of her life alone in a pen.

The announcement was made Wednesday by the city's mayor, Honey Lacuna, during a news conference -- a day after the zoo's chief veterinarian, Dr Heinrich Patrick Peña-Domingo, confirmed the captive elephant had cancer in some of her organs and a blockage in her aorta.

The diagnosis came after Mali was seen Friday repeatedly rubbing her trunk against a wall -- an indicator she was in pain -- and then laying on her side and breathing heavily Tuesday, passing away later in the day.

At only 11 months old, Mali, whose full name was Vishwamali, was gifted to former Philippines first lady Imelda Marcos by the Sri Lankan government in 1981.

In her early years, she lived at Manila Zoo alongside another elephant, Shiva, who died in 1990 after arriving in 1977.

Since then, Mali had been the zoo's only elephant and lived in solitary until her death.

Animal rights activists have long criticized the conditions of Manila Zoo ... blasting the keepers for being ill-equipped to provide the animals with proper care.

In 2013, Paul McCartney wrote to Philippine President Benigno Aquino III begging for Mali to be moved to an animal sanctuary to "bring an end to her suffering," ... while animal welfare group PETA added at the time that Mali "endures intense confinement, loneliness, boredom and isolation" at the zoo.

Pamela Anderson and Dr. Jane Goodall have backed the "Free Mali" movement.

The efforts never amounted to anything ... with PETA expressing their devastation over the tragic news, writing on X: "One of the world's saddest elephants has passed away. We're so sorry, Mali. You deserved better."

Elon Musk Rips Iger, X Advertisers ... 'Go F*** Yourself!!!'

Published | Updated

Elon Musk has a message for Disney CEO Bob Iger and all the other advertisers fleeing his social media platform -- don't let the door hit ya on the way out, and go screw yourselves while you're at it.

The owner of X was talking shop on CNBC -- on the heels of his recent Israel visit, and in the wake of antisemitism allegations -- and he fired away about the exodus of corporations cutting ties with him.

Check it out ... he says he actually hopes they stop advertising permanently, and then dropped a very clear "Go f*** yourself" proclamation to everybody who's jumping ship.

You can tell the host was shocked by Elon's choice words -- especially while live on the air -- so, naturally, EM said it again, and then asked if he'd made himself clear. He certainly had!

Elon explained that he feels like he's being blackmailed by these companies with the hope of paying for ads, and emphasized he wouldn't sacrifice his free speech policies for monetary gain ... even if, apparently, it means hurting his bottom line.

Funny enough, Elon singled out Iger in his remarks here, playfully calling out "Bob" as someone who was probably watching in the audience. Indeed, Disney was one of the major companies to pause its advertising with X ... as did many others.

Iger actually addressed that today as well -- before Elon's snipe -- and said, "We know that Elon is larger than life in many respects, and that his name is very much connected to the companies he founded or owns. By him taking the position he took in a public manner, we felt that the association was not necessarily a positive one for us."

Seems like the relationship's getting worse, not better.

Israel-Hamas War Mom of Unreleased Hostage Calls Elon's Israel Visit Sincere

Published

Rachel Goldberg, whose son is one of the unreleased Israeli hostages, thinks Elon Musk's visit to her country was a sincere effort to better understand what she and so many other families are going through.

SHARING HERSH'S STORY

Rachel Goldberg joined us Wednesday on "TMZ Live" to discuss the ongoing release of women and children held by Hamas for more than 7 weeks. Dozens have been returned to Israel in recent days, during a temporary ceasefire that's currently set to end this week.

Her own son, Hersch Goldberg-Polin, has yet to see freedom -- and yet, Rachel has continued to be a front-facing unofficial spokesperson on behalf of all the hostage families ... a painstaking reality she says she struggles with daily.

Rachel says that while Hamas still has her own flesh and blood captive, she recognizes the value of serving as a voice for everyone else -- and thinks it's her duty to continue doing so.

TAKEN BY HAMAS

As for Elon -- who's been criticized for using Israel in a cold PR move after he was accused of antisemitism -- Rachel tells us she actually believes his heart's in the right place, and, to her, he came across as earnestly interested in learning/sympathizing.

Rachel was among a few family members of hostages who showed them footage from Oct. 7 ... including the horrifying moment Hersch was snatched up by Hamas after his left arm was blown apart during the attack.

She also talked about the ongoing protests in the U.S. and beyond ... namely, pro-Palestine ones, where people have decried Israel's response in Gaza, and its treatment of innocent Palestinians caught in the middle of the war.

Rachel's response might surprise some ... she says she actually feels for the innocent Palestinians -- and even says Palestine does, in fact, have a right to operate as its own state with dignity and freedom.

Her rationale boils down to the ol' two-things-can-be-true-at-once POV, and she says if she can say that about Gaza/Palestine ... it should also be easy for folks to condemn Hamas' violence.

GUERRA ISRAEL-HAMÁS La madre de un rehén no liberado CALIFICA DE SINCERA LA VISITA DE ELON A ISRAEL

Published | Updated

Diontae Johnson Addresses Giving Up During Game ... 'I'm Not Perfect'

Published | Updated

Diontae Johnson is owning up to his lack of effort in the middle of the Steelers' matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals ... saying he addressed the situation with his teammates and vowed to do better moving forward.

The 27-year-old wide receiver faced a ton of backlash for seemingly giving up in the middle of a play during Pittsburgh's 16-10 win on Sunday ... with game footage showing him appearing uninterested in going for the ball after Jaylen Warren fumbled in the first quarter.

Johnson spoke with reporters about the now-viral lowlight on Wednesday ... and he's looking to get past the whole ordeal.

"I addressed the situation with my teammates," Johnson told the media. "They know how I feel and how I feel about the situation. I'm not perfect. All I can do is move forward and just keep playing football."

Johnson -- who was pissed he messed up on a potential touchdown catch on the previous play -- explained he does not want to be judged based on one moment ... and he promised to prove it with his play from here on out.

"One play doesn’t define me," he added. "It never will. I didn’t come up playing football like that. It looks bad on film. From here on out, going forward, just be smart, keep playing to the whistle."

Kansas City Chiefs Fan's Mom Defends Gameday Costume ... After Face Paint, Headdress Spark Outrage

Published | Updated

A Kansas City Chiefs fan's mom is coming to his defense ... claiming that all of the haters who are saying his gameday outfit was offensive need to kick rocks.

Holden Armenta caused a big stir online on Sunday when TV cameras at the Chiefs vs. Raiders game in Las Vegas showed him donning a headdress with a painted face.

Some, including Deadspin, thought the boy was wearing blackface ... and urged the NFL to speak out on the matter -- calling his feathered attire inappropriate as well.

Armenta's mother, however, said on her Facebook page this week there was simply no need for the outrage ... explaining the boy's face paint actually consisted of both black and red colors -- in order to match his favorite team's hues.

As for the headdress, she said Holden is Native American.

"People are ridiculous," Shannon Armenta wrote in one post.

She also shared a few other snaps of Holden from the game ... and said, "Everyone asked to take a photo with him."

"The players even loved it!"

Holden's dad added on his Facebook page that his son is simply "The biggest Fan" of the Chiefs.

Kansas City's NFL franchise, meanwhile, has not addressed the matter ... though Elon Musk did offer his two cents on the situation on X -- boasting that his platform's community notes had exposed the initial backlash to the boy's costume as "deception."

Diddy's Ex-Head of Security Yes, I Saved Cassie ... And Other People As Well!!!

Published | Updated

Diddy's ex-security team leader is applying more public pressure to his former boss after being named in Cassie's lawsuit ... and he's claiming Cassie is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Diddy's alleged misdeeds.

In a fiery IG post Tuesday, Roger Bonds -- who worked with Diddy around a decade ago -- vowed to tell his side of the story, but interestingly ... he never uses Diddy's name. He does use Cassie's name, though.

In the lawsuit she filed against Diddy, Cassie named Roger, alleging he jumped in to stop Diddy from stomping on her car and attacking her back in 2009 in Los Angeles.

Roger backs up Cassie's story ... saying he not only stopped Diddy from harming Cassie, but he claims there were other such incidents involving other people during his security tenure.

Of course, his public support for Cassie comes after her lawsuit was recently dismissed after she and Diddy reached a settlement. So, as far as helping her, Roger is, as they say, a day late and a dollar short.

So, what's in it for him? Roger seems to be plugging a book or documentary of some sort. His post included the hashtags #2FacesTHEDOCUMENTARY and #ROGERBONDSMYTRUTH.

Bonds also says he suffers from diabetes and says, while working for Diddy, he used the ailment to make excuses for ducking and dodging his former boss.

Diddy's team hasn't addressed the Bonds post yet, but they've been insistent the latest string of lawsuits, from 2 new accusers, are simply money grabs ... and he's denied all of their allegations.

Jonathan Majors Assault Trial Begins ... Judge to Weigh Unsealing Docs

Published | Updated

update

9:30 AM PT -- Unsurprisingly, Jonathan Majors arrived to court with Meagan Good by his side ... we've seen the two together a lot as of late, including Tuesday when they grabbed food together in NYC.

Jonathan Majors is finally going to trial for allegedly roughing up his ex ... and we might even hear about past allegations involving other women, if the judge allows it.

The actor's set to appear in court Wednesday in NYC, where the trial is scheduled to finally begin ... this after several delays. Remember, Majors was arrested and ultimately charged back in the Spring with misdemeanor assault and harassment.

His former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, claimed they got into an argument in March, and he got physical with her in a car, which she says left her with injuries.

Of course, Majors has denied that from the beginning ... insisting it was him who got hurt in the spat -- which, several months later, resulted in Jabbari getting arrested by the NYPD ... although the D.A.'s office refused to prosecute her, maintaining she's the alleged victim here.

There's been a lot of info, photos and videos that have leaked out over the past several months leading up to the trial ... much of which, Majors' camp claims, depicts Jabbari, after the alleged attack, having a night out on the town and seemingly looking uninjured.

Another twist in this case is the fact a police report taken in London -- 6 months prior to whatever happened between Majors and Jabbari -- was entered into the court docket by prosecutors ... although it's remained under seal up until now.

Media outlets have filed motions in the case to have it unearthed, publicly, and a judge is expected to weigh that motion Wednesday before court proceedings kick off in Majors' trial.

It's unclear who the other party is in that London report ... but there have been rumors of other alleged possible incidents Majors might have been involved in before his March arrest.

Another element of this saga is what Majors has been up to in his personal life as this whole thing has been playing out -- namely, him starting a relationship with actress Meagan Good, which seems to have come out of nowhere ... but continues to go strong.

Good -- who hasn't addressed how she got involved with Majors, or any other details about why she's backing him -- has appeared alongside JM in a couple different high-profile court appearances ... and the two of them have been spotted in public all over the world too.

In fact, they were seen looking incredibly loving and cozy on Tuesday, cuddled up on the streets of NYC and putting on a united front.

Professionally, Major's career has been thrown into limbo -- he's lost film and TV opportunities since being accused by Jabbari, but he's been able to keep his Marvel job (for now) as Disney seems to be taking a wait-and-see approach to their leading man.

Other completed films of his have been put on pause ... so there's a lot hanging in the balance here for him. Now, we'll get to see what prosecutors believe they have against him in terms of evidence -- and more importantly, a jury's gonna be able to hear it as well.

Jonathan Majors Comienza el juicio por agresión... El juez sopesará desenterrar documentos

Published | Updated

jonanthan majors good court 6/20/23
