Charles Manson Open Casket Funeral Then Burnt to a Crisp

Published | Updated

Charles Manson had his final hurrah Saturday during a memorial service that ended in fire.

Manson's body was front and center at a service held in Porterville, CA. We're told the body was decomposing badly, and needed heavy makeup and gloves to cover the deterioration. He died 4 months ago but his body was put on ice until a judge decided who would take control of it.

Approximately 30 people showed up at the funeral home. His grandson, Jason Freeman -- the man who won control over the body -- spoke at the service, as did a Manson follower.

Manson's service didn't end with a burial. His body was cremated and his ashes were spread along a nearby creek bed in a forest. Apparently it was a windy day, because the ashes blew back on the guests.

We're told the attendees included Manson's former fiancee, Afton Burton, and former Manson Family member Sandra Good.

As TMZ first reported ... Manson -- the mastermind behind one of the most heinous murder sprees in American history -- died of natural causes back in November 2017. He was 83.

Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman Chris Brown Haters Are Whack!!! Time to Let the Man Live

Published | Updated

Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman wants everybody to stop hating on Chris Brown ... stat.

We got Shawn Sunday at LAX, and asked him about Lil Dicky's music video for "Freaky Friday" ... where he wakes up as CB. The video also featured Ed Sheeran and Kendall Jenner, both of whom are getting some backlash for supporting Chris, a convicted abuser.

Aside from the 2009 Rihanna case -- where Chris got 5 years probation, 180 days community service and a year of counseling -- there were more recent allegations of abuse from his ex-gf, Karrueche Tran.

For Shawn, though, it's high time to stop judging Chris ... who, he believes, has turned a corner and is focusing on improving himself. Shawn also had strong feelings about Snapchat's ad for a Chris/Rihanna game that went horribly wrong.

Glen 'Big Baby' Davis Busted with Weed, $92k in Cash

Published | Updated

10:17 AM PT -- Davis has finally spoken out publicly about his weed bust last month, posting a since-deleted video online to refute the claims that he was allegedly selling drugs out of a hotel room in Maryland. He's on a private jet surrounded by Popeye's chicken ... and a bunch of cash that he says is all legit from his NBA days. He also says he'll have his day in court to prove his innocence.

Former NBA player Glen "Big Baby" Davis -- known for his role on the 2008 Boston Celtics team that won the championship -- was reportedly arrested last month on 7 counts of drug possession and distribution.

Davis -- who last played in the league with the Clippers in 2015 -- was busted in a Hampton Inn in Aberdeen, MD on February 7 by cops after the hotel owner smelled weed in his room, knocked on the door and was told to "F*** off!" ... according to court records obrained by WMAR Baltimore.

Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber says Davis had 126 grams of marijuana on him, along with $92,164 in a briefcase and a "ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics."

The ledger reportedly had names of people who owed money along with baggies for packaging the weed ... which was from an L.A. wholesaler Davis told cops he was in business with.

He told cops he was Maryland to visit family. David was indicted weeks later on the drug charges, but his lawyer says he's innocent.

The other charge was dismissed.

Paz won't spend time behind bars ... but he ain't free and clear. The judge ordered him to take domestic abuse and substance abuse counseling, participate in a mental health program, and give up his guns.

Boxer Vinny Paz Arrested For Domestic Violence Cops Bust Down Garage

Published | Updated

Former boxing champ Vinny Paz was arrested for domestic violence in Rhode Island early Thursday morning after cops say he beat up his girlfriend and then tried to hide inside of his home.

The Warwick Police Dept. says it had to use force to break down Paz's garage and enter the home to apprehend the 55-year-old at around 3 AM.

Cops initially received a call from a member of Paz's GF's family who said Paz got violent. The woman reportedly suffered injuries to her face.

When cops arrived, the woman was taken from the scene in a stretcher.

Paz refused to answer the door, answer his phone and had turned off all the lights -- so cops decided they had to make a move "out of an abundance of caution" ... and entered the house to get Paz.

He was eventually taken into custody around 4 AM and hauled to a nearby station where he's being booked for domestic violence charges.

What makes this worse for Paz ... he was out on bail in a felony assault case in which he allegedly beat up his friend -- and this new arrest could lead officials to revoke his bail.

THE ARREST

One of the stars of "Black Ink Crew Chicago" got cuffed with his whole crew after a cop pulled them over because smoke was billowing out of their limo van.

Phor was arrested in Gary, Indiana last week -- along with 6 others -- and is now facing criminal weed charges.

According to the police report, an officer pulled over Phor's Mercedes limo after he heard loud music and smelled pot. The driver told the cop they were heading to a club in Gary, about 25 miles from Chicago, and said ... "Look bro, I have a celebrity in the back."

Unfortunately for Phor's crew, the cop didn't care, because the driver allegedly didn't have ID or registration for the vehicle and it stunk like weed ... so they were all taken into custody for weed-related offenses.

For the record, Phor shared his feelings on the arrest, admitting it could have been a lot worse ... but says he's not looking forward to his court date in May.

Jonathan Martin Had Loaded Gun, Knife & Ax ... When Arrested

Published | Updated

New disturbing details in the Jonathan Martin case ... we've learned he was arrested with a cache of weapons including a loaded shotgun, knife and an ax -- and had been threatening classmates for years.

TMZ Sports has obtained court documents filed after Martin was taken into custody on Feb. 23 after posting a cryptic photo on Instagram threatening old high school classmates and former NFL teammates.

Officials say they found Martin after getting a call about a "suicidal male with a gun" at a hospital in Glendale, CA.

He was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold because officials believed he was a possible danger to himself and others.

They searched his car and found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, a large knife, an ax and a cell phone. A second shotgun was found at his parents' home.

Officials spoke with Martin's girlfriend who said he'd been angry and depressed since she met him, but over the past month started making suicidal statements.

The GF says Martin had also been "writing on the walls" of his home.

Investigators spoke with the two former high school classmates Martin tagged in his cryptic IG post who said Martin had been sending them disturbing Facebook messages starting in 2016.

One message said, "Thank you for being such an asshole to me when I was a kid and didn't fit in ... being dicks to me when I was a kid has made me, quite literally, insane."

"And I blame you above all. You'll get yours, eventually -- I have already paid my price for being a bad person. I wish you nothing but the worst. Best, Jonathan Martin."

He sent a second message to the same classmate that said, "You're a bad person. You irreparably damaged people's lives. And you will be exposed publicly. If there is anything else I accomplish in life, it will be making sure you are outed and shamed for who you are."

Martin followed up with a 3rd message that had similar language.

The classmate says Martin apologized in August 2016 and it sounded like everything was cool. Clearly, it was not.

One other note ... cops say they learned Martin had purchased one shotgun right after he sent the Facebook messages and another shotgun 13 days before the Instagram post.

Meek Mill Arresting Officer Dubbed Corrupt ... by Philly D.A.'s Office

The officer who busted Meek Mill might be one of Philadelphia's most corrupt cops ... this according to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.

Officer Reginald Graham -- the guy who played a pivotal role in Meek's 2007 arrest for gun and drug charges -- is 1 of 29 current and former cops the D.A. has placed on a "Do not call" list ... warning prosecutors to keep them off their witness stands following allegations of misconduct.

The list -- first obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer -- states Graham was "investigated by federal authorities for several alleged acts of corruption." Graham was the only witness in Meek's 2008 trial.

Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina, said "The release of the so-called 'Do Not Testify' list supports everything in the motions filed by Mill and others wrongfully arrested by Officer Graham for post-conviction relief."

Meek, 19 at the time of his arrest, was sentenced to 10 years probation. He was sentenced back in November to 2 to 4 years in prison for violating probation.

Aldon Smith 'Drinking Every Day' Friends Concerned He'll Die

Aldon Smith's alcohol problem got so bad, he was drinking every single day ... and people close to the embattled NFL star are concerned he'll drink himself to death if he continues down this road.

"I'm worried for him. I'm worried for his safety," one source close to Smith tells TMZ Sports.

"He's an alcoholic. It's not about football anymore. We're hoping this is rock bottom for him."

We broke the story ... Aldon checked into a rehab facility on Sunday after a domestic violence incident with his fiancee ... the latest in a string of alcohol-related incidents that includes two DUI arrests.

Smith's fiancee previously told us Aldon contacted her father after the domestic violence incident (he's a doctor) and asked for help. They felt the best move was to go to rehab.

Smith's former Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio believes Aldon's NFL suspension stemming from a DUI hasn't helped -- the isolation from his team has only made his situation worse.

"Never liked 'league rules' that eliminate the ability of teams to offer Aldon and others in his situation the structure they so desperately need."

Raiders lineman Donald Penn made the same points back in March when he told us Smith would benefit from being around teammates who care about him.

NFL Pro Bowler Branden Albert is so tough -- he pulled out taser prongs AFTER he got shocked and tackled a police officer in a jewelry store melee ... this according to police docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

Yeah ... this story is crazy!!!

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Albert was arrested for assault in Georgia on Wednesday. Now, we've got the police report and it describes a very violent situation.

Cops say Albert and his crew hit up Icebox Jewelry around 4:15 PM to check out some merchandise -- but Albert kept trying to access a part of the shop where customers are not allowed.

The security guard -- an off-duty Atlanta Police Dept. officer -- says the store owner confronted Albert and told him to leave the area but the NFL star flipped out and "punched a jewelry cabinet which left a very large hole."

The officer approached Albert -- but the 6'4", 315 pounder went nuclear ... cussing and saying he would "kill" the owner.

That's when the cop says Albert pushed him and tried to leave. The officer drew his taser and deployed it ... knocking Albert to the ground.

But Albert simply PULLED THE PRONGS OUT and got up! The officer chased him but Albert stopped, turned around and TACKLED THE COP!

Eventually, Albert stopped fighting and congratulated the cop on "a good tussle." The cop arrested him anyway. He was booked into jail for damage to property and obstruction of law enforcement.

The cop says he suffered minor injuries in the incident -- but nothing serious.

Albert is still in jail at the time of this post.
