Major flip-flopping after a gay fan publicly accused Rihanna of saying he was going to hell for his homosexuality -- he has now changed his story ... insisting he was LYING the whole time ... and actually Photoshopped the Instagram image going around the Internet.

Benvoy Seals posted the above image on Instagram last night -- showing a back and forth between him and Rihanna on her comments section.

Benvoy writes, "Rihanna u going to hell girl" -- and, in the image, Rihanna responds, "Arnt you gay? ... Nuff said blah!"

The exchange was shocking, especially because Rihanna voiced her support for gay rights in Russia less than a week ago -- posting a photo of herself wearing a hat embroidered with "P6," which stands for Principle 6 ... a campaign against Russia's anti-gay propaganda law.

But now, Benvoy tells TMZ, he Photoshopped the picture for no reason ... "I lied. I don't know why. I just did." He also said he received thousands of death threats and hate messages.

Benvoy has since deleted the original Instagram image and posted a retraction in its place, claiming, "Rihanna would never say something like that."

The perv fan who groped "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland's chest in Australia this week has been charged with assault with an act of indecency, TMZ has learned.

The 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday outside a "Modern Family" after-party in Sydney. Hyland was posing with fans when he allegedly grabbed her breast.

23-year-old Hyland immediately left the event in tears while her security handled the creep.

Hyland was remorseful about bailing on the event, saying sorry to all the fans she, "didn't get to say hi to but I had to leave due to an inappropriate touch of a fan."

9:27 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained the police report filed when the allegations were made in 2011.

According to the report, one of the women claims she fell asleep on Sharper's couch -- and woke up around 6am with either Darren or his brother "exposing his penis and attempting to bring it close to her face."

The woman says she told the man to leave her alone, but fell back asleep.

When she woke up again, she claims either Sharper or his brother was trying to lift her dress, but she slapped his hand away.

Eventually, the women got up to leave the condo and noticed that their panties were "missing." They later found the underwear laying on the floor by the couch.

Both women went to a nearby rape center, but doctors found no evidence of sexual battery.

Darren Sharper was investigated for an alleged sexual battery in 2011 -- but the case was closed due to lack of evidence ... cops say.

The alleged victims are two Georgia women who claim they were in Miami for spring break.

According to NBC Miami, the women told police they fell asleep at Sharper's condo -- and woke up to find either Sharper or his brother "behaving inappropriately and exposing himself."

The women were reportedly taken to a rape treatment center -- but the case was closed because officials found no evidence of sexual battery.

Sharper still faces allegations of raping 7 other women in 4 states ... including California. In fact, he's due in court TODAY to face charges he raped 2 women in Los Angeles.

NBA star Serge Ibaka sprung into HERO MODE last night when he saw some dude on a bike wipe out in a mall parking lot ... and according to the victim, Serge was nothing short of a "big black angel."

The guy who ate pavement is Grant -- who works in the Penn Square Mall in OKC. Grant tells TMZ Sports he was biking home when he lost control, flipped the bike and landed on his face ... chipping his tooth and opening a gash on his chin.

Grant says as soon as he went down, someone rushed over to see if he was OK ... someone who happened to be Oklahoma City Thunder big man Serge Ibaka.

Grant says he was disoriented after the crash ... but Serge helped him up, brought him inside the mall, got him water and helped clean off his wounds.

"He was so nice, really nice," Grant says ... "He really didn't need to take time to do that, but it's awesome that he did."

Surveillance video has surfaced in the Darren Sharper rape investigation that could blow a huge hole in the case for Arizona prosecutors -- and it's all because of what the footage DOESN'T show ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to the police report ... Sharper's accusers claim they partied with the NFL star at a bar called The Mint for roughly 10 to 15 minutes in the hours before he allegedly drugged and raped the 2 women.

Problem is, multiple sources tell TMZ Sports ... Sharper is nowhere to be seen in security footage taken from The Mint on the night of the alleged attacks.

In addition ... multiple staff members also told cops they never saw Sharper inside their bar that night.

Clearly, this presents a big problem for prosecutors because it could undermine the accusers' credibility.

For his part, Sharper denies any wrongdoing ... not just in AZ, but in all 4 states where he's been accused of raping women.

Bree freed her pup Petey after she got out of jail. We're told she had to pay $100 to get him out of Animal Control custody.

Bree Walker, a famous 80s news anchor and reporter ... was busted for DUI in Orange County, CA -- and her poor dog was also taken into custody ... TMZ has learned.

Anaheim police arrested Walker around 12:30 AM Wednesday after she was initially pulled over for running a red light.

Police smelled booze ... put her through a field sobriety test -- which they say she failed -- and 61-year-old Walker was taken to jail.

Law enforcement sources tell us Walker's pit bull Petey was in the car with her, but since Bree lives in L.A. County ... no one was available to pickup the dog. We're told animal control took custody of Petey.

Walker -- who was once married to famed sportscaster Jim Lampley -- was booked for misdemeanor DUI, and released a few hours later ... aka once she sobered up.

Unclear at this point if she sprung Petey yet.

Walker worked local news in New York, L.A., and San Diego -- and did a stint in rehab for booze a few years ago.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was arrested in Atlanta this morning ... and it's all because the guy was rollin' around town with tinted windows.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports ... cops pulled over White's Audi A8 for speeding around 3:16 AM ... and during the stop, they noticed a warrant out for Roddy's arrest.

Turns out ... in February 2013, White was cited for having non-transparent tinting on his car window -- and he was required to appear in court the following month.

But officials say White blew off his court date -- so a judge issued a warrant.

The 32-year-old was arrested and hauled to a nearby station -- where he was booked and posed for a smiling mug shot.

Law enforcement tells us Roddy was very cooperative and couldn't have been nicer during the situation.

Michael Lohan's girlfriend claims he's threatening her with a knife and threatening to take their infant son -- and now police are on scene ... TMZ has learned.

Kate Major blasted Lohan on Twitter Monday evening ... claiming she had to lock herself and their one-year-old son Landon in a bedroom while a knife-wielding Lohan tried to break down the door.

Sources close to the couple tell us Michael is the one who called 911 when Kate started acting erratically ... and locked herself in the room.

We're told officers want one of them to leave the house immediately -- but Michael isn't budging because he thinks Kate is drunk ... and doesn't want to leave her with the baby.

We just spoke to Michael who claims Kate's been drinking again ... and it got so bad she tried to kill herself over the weekend. Lohan tells us he's worried about the welfare of their child and says he'll attempt to get custody of their son if she doesn't get help.

During Kate's twitter rant ... she addressed the suicide saying, "Someone trying to kill u is worse than trying to kill yourself ! #udontscareme."

Kate also vowed to never let Michael take their son away from her.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his fiancee were arrested in NJ on Saturday morning after cops say they STRUCK EACH OTHER inside an Atlantic City casino ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The Atlantic City PD tells us officers responded to a domestic dispute the Revel Casino at 2:51 AM involving Ray and his fiancee Janay A. Palmer.

Cops say ... "After reviewing surveillance footage it appeared both parties were involved in a physical altercation. The complaint summons indicates that both Rich and Palmer struck each other with their hands."

Both Ray and Janay refused medical attention -- and no injuries were reported by either party.

They were transported to a nearby police station where they were booked for Simple Assault-Domestic Violence. They were both released on a summons to appear in court.

UPDATE: Chris' rep just told TMZ, "Chris is not affiliated with a gang or any similar organization. He is affiliated with the Symphonic Love Foundation and other organizations that strive to bring love, hope and the arts to children in need."

Chris Brown got so pissed off over a foul call during a pick-up basketball game at a 24-Hour Fitness ... he allegedly proclaimed himself a member of the Bloods street gang and then beat the crap out of the other player.

Malcolm Ausbon just filed a lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he claims he was playing BBall last July against Chris when he called a foul on Brown ... which Brown vehemently denied.

Brown allegedly threatened the guy saying he would kick his ass. Ausbon claims Brown then bragged that he was a member of the Bloods.

Ausbon wisely decided to back away, but Brown was on a tear. He allegedly rushed Ausbon with 3 members of his security team, who screamed, "If you f*** with Chris, you f*** with us."

The lawsuit claims the 4 men then began to "strike, punch, kick, pull and stomp Ausbon's head and body."

He says he ended up in the emergency room with injuries to his face, head, neck, back, legs and ribs. He also says he's suffering from embarrassment, fear, anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder.

Ausbon is suing Brown and 24-Hour Fitness, as well as the security team for unspecified damages.

A source close to Brown acknowledges an "incident" on the court but says there were no punches thrown.

NFL superstar Ed Reed was jacked to the tune of $50,000 ... when burglars allegedly followed him out of a Houston bank and stole a big bag of cash from his car.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the former Houston Texans star says he pulled the money out of a Bank of America ... and went to ANOTHER bank.

While Reed was in the second bank, he claims someone smashed the side window of his grey 2006 Audi and jacked the loot, which was in a bag.

It all went down around 2:00 PM -- in broad daylight.

Cops say they believe Reed was followed from the first bank to the second bank. Officials are now on the hunt for the suspects.

We're told cops are hoping bank surveillance video captured an image of the cash thief.

Justin Bieber is on the offensive after embarrassing video surfaced of him getting patted down in jail following his DUI arrest in Miami Beach -- TMZ has learned, he's now begging for ALL police video to stay out of the public eye ... including footage of him urinating in his jail cell.

The pat down video surfaced last week -- showing Bieber getting the old "spread 'em" routine -- and his lawyers are upset ... now asking the court to block police from releasing any more footage from the singer's arrest without showing it to them first.

Not only does the footage paint a negative picture of Bieber -- for obvious reasons -- Bieber's lawyers claim additional video inside the station shows the singer in "various states of undress, which show intimate personal parts" of his body.

And law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the "personal parts" in question are revealed while Bieber urinates in his holding cell.

A source who saw the video tells us, "Justin is seen several times stumbling around while he was taking his tests. As if he had a problem with his balance ... [the video] also shows Justin taking his various tests and eventually taking a piss."

The source adds, "The stumbling and going to the bathroom is obviously reason enough for his attorneys to request it be sealed ... If I was trying to paint a picture that my client was innocent ... I wouldn’t want a video of him stumbling around and looking out of it to go public either."

Not like it's anything we haven't seen before.

US bobsledder Johnny Quin was just RESCUED from an evil Russian elevator ... just days after being trapped in a Russian bathroom ... and he just called in to TMZ Sports to tell us about his escape.

Quin was leaving the team hotel with the team bobsled pilot and a few team mechanics when the doors suddenly slammed shut ... and wouldn't open.

Quin says he tried to pry the elevator open ... but it wouldn't budge.

Fortunately, the guys had their cell phones and called for help ... and eventually got out.

The incident comes just two days after Johnny got trapped in his own bathroom ... and when no one came to his rescue, he used his bobsled skills to smash through the door like the Kool Aid man.

Chris Kattan was arrested for DUI early this morning after his car struck a vehicle ... and TMZ has learned he allegedly confessed he was on prescription meds.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the former "Saturday Night Live" cast member was arrested on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley just after 1 AM.

Another driver called CHP to report another driver in a Mercedes who was "weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds."

Kattan allegedly then crossed into an area that was coned off for a freeway closure and he struck a Dept. of Transportation vehicle from behind.

Kattan was not injured and apparently there was no one in the DOT vehicle.

Cops say Kattan appeared out of it. Our sources tell us he was arrested and booked for DUI ... specifically drugs, NOT alcohol.

Nine members of the University of Tennessee football team were busted at a HUGE team rager over the weekend ... with booze, weed and FIGHTS, this according to the cops.

TMZ Sports has learned ... cops initially responded to an off-campus party in Knoxville just after midnight on Sunday morning after getting noise complaints. Cops say the party was hosted by Dontavis Sapp -- a former UT linebacker.

Cops say they went to talk to Sapp ... but he was clearly wasted ... and they tried to take him into custody. That's when, cops say, senior linebacker AJ Johnson stepped in ... and grabbed a cop by the shoulder, in an effort to keep Sapp from being arrested.

Johnson was "pulled to the ground" by one of the cops who says the football player "continued to resist arrest by pulling away and rolling around."

Cops say .... another player, 20-year-old defensive lineman Danny O'Brien, was also hammered and combative and was taken into custody "after a brief struggle."

Cops cited 3 other football players -- Curt Maggitt (LB), Jakob Johnson (LB) and Jalen Reeves-Maybin (LB) -- who allegedly provided booze and weed to underage party guests, including:

-- Dimarya Mixon (DL)
-- Justin Coleman (DB)
-- Malik Brown (DL)

The 4 players were cited for underage drinking.

A spokesperson for UT tells us ... "We are aware of the situation and are still in the preliminary stages of gathering all facts and information."
