Corey Haim: Doing 'Well' Before Death

We got Corey Haim just three weeks ago -- and when asked if he was sober, he said he had been "good for a while."

Haim was out at Haute in West Hollywood on February 18 with longtime friend Corey Feldman, where he told us he was "doing well" and was looking forward to future film projects.

As we previously reported, Haim was found dead this morning -- the victim of an apparent overdose.

Sorority Lockdown Over Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger's accuser may have dropped out of school, but her sorority is closing ranks. TMZ has learned the group's leaders issued sorority-wide marching orders ... including a mass Facebook takedown.

Sources at Georgia College & State University -- where the accuser was enrolled before the alleged incident -- tell us the accuser's sorority sisters have been ordered to take down each of their Facebook and Twitter accounts and refrain from wearing any clothing with the sorority letters until further notice.

We're told three members of the sorority's national office visited the campus sorority house to check in on the situation and may return later this week.

We called the sorority for an official comment -- so far, radio silence.

Oscars Dolphin Flasher Causes Mobile Tidal Wave

The guy who flashed the "Text Dolphin" sign at the Oscars nearly broke the organization he was trying to promote -- after a tidal wave of text messages almost took down the group's mobile server.

It all went down when one of the stars of "The Cove" tried to get some promotion for the TakePart dolphin-saving organization by flashing the sign during the Best Documentary acceptance speech -- it lasted two seconds before they cut away from the sign.

But TMZ has learned those two seconds of exposure triggered so many text messages -- the group's mobile service provider nearly went down.

The group claims they've doubled their membership in the two days following the awards.

Dr. Drew's Alleged Stalker Booked It

Dr. Drew Pinksy's alleged stalker was arrested last year for stealing two books from a Barnes & Noble ... books written by Dr. Drew Pinksy.

According to court records, Charles Pearson was arrested at the bookstore in Encino, CA in February, 2009 after he told employees he was from the CIA and was there to confiscate two books.

Both the books were Dr. Drew's "Cracked: Life on the Edge in a Rehab Clinic."

Pearson was charged with burglary and shoplifting. He copped a plea and was sentenced to 4 days in jail.

Pearson wrote about it on his blog, admitting to "removing" the books which he claimed Dr. Drew wrote to "profiteer and boast his premeditated plan to abuse me."

Meanwhile ... Pearson pled not guilty last week to six felonies for allegedly threatening Dr. Drew's family.

Audrina's Alleged Stalker -- Packin' a Nazi Blade

Audrina Patridge's alleged stalker was carrying a knife that had a swastika on the handle when he was arrested outside of her house last month ... this according to a detective's testimony yesterday in court.

The detective said she found the knife -- which had a 6-inch blade -- in Zachary Loring's bag after they hauled him to the station on February 19 ... when he allegedly violated the restraining order Audrina was granted against him last year.

Loring is set to be arraigned on March 23 for one count of stalking and two counts of disobeying a court order.

Charlie Sheen -- Commuter Rehab

Charlie Sheen will resume shooting "Two and a Half Men" next week during the day, but he'll go back to rehab at night ... sources tell TMZ.

As we first reported Sheen was going back to the set next week to shoot the remaining 4 episodes of the season.

Our sources tell us Charlie will be in rehab full-time until early Monday morning, when he'll fly to Aspen for his felony arraignment.

He'll come back to L.A. Monday night, where he'll sleep at the rehab facility and then show up on Tuesday to film the show.

We're told after each day on the set Charlie will go directly back to rehab.

As for how he's doing, multiple sources say he's doing great and his doctors have given him the go-ahead to resume filming.

Dennis Hopper's Wife Won't Move Out!

The Dennis Hopper divorce was back in court today, and it's apparent Victoria Hopper, Dennis' estranged wife, will not leave her home without a fight.

According to court docs, Victoria must leave Dennis' compound on March 15. But in legal papers filed today and obtained by TMZ, Victoria claims the prenup she signed does require her to vacate one of the homes on the property, but she says she's living in a different, freestanding home on the property so she's allowed to stay.

Victoria also said in court she's broke and needs money, stat.

And, Victoria says in her legal docs, she believes Dennis is getting ready to die. She says, "I believe in contemplation of death [Dennis Hopper] may be intending to remove me as a beneficiary of any kind..."

Hard Rock President -- Apparent Suicide

The President and Chief Operating Officer of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was found dead today, with an apparent self-inflicted gun wound to the head ... law enforcement tells TMZ.

Andrew (Randy) Kwasniewski was found by his wife this AM in their Las Vegas home.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has launched an investigation. We're told they are viewing it as an apparent suicide.

'Amazing Race' Star Linked to Drug Investigation

One of the Rhode Island police officers competing on the current season of "The Amazing Race" has been taken off the streets in the wake of an internal investigation into a major cop-operated cocaine ring.

According to the Rhode Island State Police, Louie Stravato has been put on "desk duty" -- after his name came up in a "four month" investigation into a "large-scale" cocaine distribution operation.

Three officers were arrested in a sting operation -- but Stravato was not among them.

According to law enforcement, Stravato was among 4 officers assigned to the desk work following the investigation. The RISP would not comment on the nature of Stravato's involvement in the case.

Calls to CBS were not returned.

Ryan Seacrest Stalker Cops Plea

Ryan Seacrest's stalker, Chidi Uzomah, just pled no contest to felony stalking ... TMZ has learned.

Uzomah, who repeatedly hunted the "American Idol" host down and came close to him while armed with a knife, agreed in court to submit to a 3-month psychiatric evaluation at Chino State Prison in California.

As for prison time, we're told he could serve up to two years behind bars. And it's likely the judge will issue a criminal stay away order to keep Uzomah clear of Ryan Seacrest for the next 10 years.

People who worked on the case say the L.A. County Deputy D.A. assigned to the case, Wendy Segall, drove a hard bargain.

The caller tells the dispatcher she saw someone "flying from the roof" of an apartment building in L.A.

Before jumping, 18-year-old Michael Bryan left a note for a woman saying she was his only friend in L.A. and that he was very unhappy.

Bryan was laid to rest yesterday at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo, Utah.

TMZ has obtained the 911 call made after Gary Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of "The Insider" last month and had to be transported to a Los Angeles hospital.

Multiple sources tell us the 20-year-old woman dropped out of Georgia College & State University over the weekend.

Roethlisberger Case - Cops Comb Bar for Clues

Cops involved in the Ben Roethlisberger investigation went back to Capital City bar in Georgia yesterday and searched the restroom for clues ... sources tell TMZ.

As we already reported, the alleged sexual assault took place in a bathroom in the bar. "The cops were all over that bathroom," one source told TMZ.

And Capital City bar -- where the alleged incident occurred -- was closed Monday.

The alleged accuser is under 21. She was legally allowed to be in the bar but not allowed to drink. Law enforcement tells TMZ the alleged victim had been drinking and "alcohol is a factor in the investigation."

Sources say the authorities are trying to find out if the woman was served at any of the local bars.

Dr. Phil -- I Don't Wanna Be on the Internet!!

Dr. Phil McGraw doesn't want to see the deposition in his interior design lawsuit ending up on the Internet -- and he's filed court papers to make sure that never happens.

The good doctor is involved in a he-said/she-said lawsuit with a decorating duo that claims Phil and his wife Robin screwed them over. The McGraws countersued, saying they were overcharged for work.

According to court docs filed last week, McGraw wants to make sure his videotaped deposition is sealed because he thinks "the plaintiffs believe that the threat of the release of the discovery to the tabloids will give them leverage in the case."

Both sides are due back in court next month.
