Jose Fernandez Mom and Girlfriend To Split Control Of Estate ... Judge Says

Published | Updated

Jose Fernandez's mom and girlfriend will split control of the late MLB star's estate, a Miami judge ruled on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old pitcher -- who passed away in a boating accident back in September -- left behind no will. Fernandez's attorneys have valued his estate around $2-3 million.

Fernandez's girlfriend, Maria Arias, gave birth to their daughter on February 24.

The families of the other two men that passed away in the boat crash have filed wrongful death lawsuits against Fernandez's estate.

Donald Trump Reveals Tax Records ... Paid $38 Mil in 2005

Published | Updated

Donald Trump is finally coughing up his tax returns, at least in part ... and says he paid $38 million in 2005.

The president released the financial info under pressure from MSNBC's Rachel Maddow ... who promised to broadcast the 2005 data on her show Tuesday evening. Half an hour before she went on air the White House revealed Trump paid the $38 mil on $150 million income.

Trump's release comes grudgingly. The White House added, "Despite this substantial income figure and tax paid, it is totally illegal to steal and publish tax returns."

There was also a direct shot at Maddow -- "You know you are desperate for ratings when you are willing to violate the law to push a story about two pages of tax returns from over a decade ago."

Fact is, Maddow's ratings have been pretty damn good since Trump's election.

6:25 PM -- Maddow revealed Trump's 1040 Form, and says it was anonymously mailed to investigative journalist David Cay Johnston. She hasn't revealed anything more than what the White House statement did.

Boosie Badazz's Cousin In NFL Draft 'I Don't Give a F*** Who Drafts Him'

Published | Updated

You'd think rap superstar Boosie Badazz -- a Louisiana legend -- would want the New Orleans Saints to draft his college football superstar cousin, right?? Wrong.

"I don't give a f**k about the Saints."

Turns out, Boosie's cuz is Cameron Sutton -- a projected 2nd round pick who killed it as a cornerback at Tennessee. Dude's good.

So, when we saw Boosie at LAX we asked if the family's pulling for a certain team to draft the kid.

"It doesn't matter. We don't give a f**k about the team. It's about the MONEY, man."

Boosie even dishes out some financial advice ... including the one baller exception Cam's allowed to make after he gets that first check.

Frank Zappa Family War Dweezil vs. Ahmet and Diva

Published | Updated

Dweezil Zappa's brother and sister are going after him, claiming he's ruining the Zappa name by spreading lies that tarnish their father's legacy.

Ahmet and Diva Zappa just filed legal docs asking a judge to let them start a website to counter Dweezil's claim they are trying to ruin his career by denying him the right to perform his Zappa Plays Zappa tour.

Dweezil has gone on a rant claiming Ahmet and Diva -- who now run Frank Zappa's estate -- have flat-out prohibited him from using ZPZ in concert.

Ahmet and Diva say in their docs ... Dweezil is full of it -- they have always given him the right to tour with Zappa Plays Zappa for the very reasonable price of $1.

They're especially upset with the mocking -- Dweezil's new tour name is "Dweezil Zappa Plays Whatever the F@%k he wants: Cease and Desist Tour 2016."

Diva and Ahmet are also pissed off that Dweezil -- who they claim received many millions though life insurance -- was soliciting money from fans to cover his legal bills, but he took heat for it and then tweaked the wording to ask instead for donations so he could continue his music.

Frank Zappa died in 1993.

A$AP Ferg I Got a Colorful Smile ... Thanks to the Pope

Published | Updated

Self-described "Hood Pope" A$AP Ferg is trying to one-up the real Pontiff with a crucifix-inspired grill with just about every color in the rainbow.

Dave Bling and Big Will of NYC-based DWS Jewelry tell us Ferg dropped $10k this week on a new mouthpiece that spells out "Hood Pope" in multicolored diamonds.

It's pretty dope ... Bling used white diamonds for the top part's "Hood," plus green, pink, yellow and blue diamonds to spell out "Pope" on the bottom. He threw in some rubies, pearls and pink diamonds to fill out the design.

Bling says Ferg was inspired by an old photo he remembered of His Holiness rocking a bejeweled crucifix. No official papal blessing for Ferg's grill. Not yet.

Floyd Mayweather I'll Un-Retire for Conor McGregor Just Ink the Deal Already!

Published | Updated

Floyd Mayweather had made it loud and clear -- he's willing to step out of retirement to fight Conor McGregor ... if they can just hammer out a deal.

Floyd made the official announcement Saturday, saying "for Conor McGregor, I'm coming out of retirement ... just to fight Conor McGregor."

He added ... "I don't want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let's fight in June. You're the B side, I'm the A side."

Here's the problem ... Dana White has already said the fight isn't likely to happen because negotiations are falling apart. They seem to be worlds apart on money ... and there's simply no deal as of February.

Floyd's been back and forth about being willing to fight Conor, but seems to be taking a firm position now ... he's willing if a deal can be struck.

Your move, Dana.

Lyft Sued Passenger Says Aggressive Driver Threatened Violence Over Fare

Published | Updated

Lyft touting it's serious about safety is a load of BS, because the company hires dangerous, threatening drivers ... according to a new lawsuit.

A New York man says he was visiting Miami with his girlfriend when they ordered a Lyft ride to the airport to return home. He claims his driver was combative about following the suggested route because it included a toll.

According to the docs ... the driver swerved dangerously across the highway to pull onto the shoulder and aggressively demanded extra money to stay on course. The passenger claims he refused at first, but when the driver threatened to kick him and his GF out of his car, he handed over a $20 bill.

The passenger says he gave the driver 1 star and reported the incident to Lyft ... but the responses he received from customer service were lame.

Lyft declined to comment.

The lil bros dropped their debut LP "Twin Stories" last September, and No. 2 is slated for release later this year. They're hitting up SXSW so the hype is real.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Crime Victim

Published | Updated

Dog the Bounty Hunter and wife Beth are the latest L.A. crime victims after thieves somehow got inside their ritzy hotel suite and stole thousands in cash.

Law enforcement sources tell us Dog and Beth were staying at the Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles Thursday night when they opened their safe and were shocked to find more than $5k in cash had disappeared.

Cops tell us there was no sign of forced entry.

It's interesting ... nothing other than the cash was taken, despite the fact that all of their luggage and jewelry were in the room.

We're told cops are working with the hotel to check to see if anyone made a key card which allowed them access to the room. Translation ... they think it might be an inside job.

Police are also checking hotel surveillance video.

PLAYING BY OUR OWN RULES

For rappers Famous Dex and Rich the Kid money, jewelry and six-figure cars are just very expensive playthings.

The duo put on a show -- and not a concert -- outside Mastro's Steakhouse in Bev Hills when they littered the sidewalk with hundred dollar bills, and flashed their diamond chains and watches. But you really gotta see what happened when the valet pulled their Maybach in front of the restaurant.

Funniest moment: our photog asking if the 20-somethings take out insurance on their gear. Apparently they haven't gotten the Hollywood memo about showing off your jewels.

Good luck, guys!

BTW ... the IPO was handled by Morgan Stanley, which owns Citibank, so Evan's spreading the wealth.

SEE YOU IN COURT

Silento caught a big break in Dubai by evading arrest ... because he's too young.

We got the "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" rapper who had just flown to L.A. from Dubai, where he was detained for allegedly pocketing $80k from a concert promoter and then bailed on 2 gigs.

Authorities wanted to seize his passport and arrest him, but he says because he's 19 that's considered underage, so they handled it differently. It went through the courts, and it looks like Silento had to ante up what sounds like the full $80k before being allowed to leave.

Stephen Dorff Bank Comes a Callin' for $800k

Published | Updated

Stephen Dorff has huge line of credit with his bank, but he's fully tapped out ... and nearly a million in the hole ... according to legal docs.

City National Bank says the actor and his production company opened a line of credit for $800,000 last year, but maxed it out. He was supposed to pay it all back by the end of 2016, but in docs filed Wednesday in L.A. ... the bank says he's gone radio silent.

As a result it's suing him for the full amount plus interest ... bringing his total due to $805,953.23, as of Feb. 28 -- plus another $10 in late fees. The bank points out the clock is ticking, and so is the interest.

We reached out to Stephen's reps. No word back yet.

Katt Williams Bailed on Assault Lawsuit ... Ordered to Pay $86k

Published | Updated

Katt Williams' silence is golden for the brain surgery patient who sued him ... in fact, $86,000 worth of gold!

A Georgia judge just ordered the comedian to fork over that dough to Paul Love, who sued Katt last year for allegedly punching him in the head when Love was 10 weeks into recovering from brain surgery.

The legal victory was easy, considering Katt went MIA ... and never responded to the lawsuit.

We broke the story ... Katt allegedly flew into a rage at a pool supply store, and was accused of throwing a punch which sent the guy back to the hospital.

Katt has said he flipped out because Love called him the n-word -- but he did not share that tidbit with the court. Might've helped, but as it stands ... that'll be $86k, sir.

Jason, who was rolling with rapper Sincere Show, also sprinkled $20k on the strippers. It's pretty obvious why.
