Tiffany Haddish warned the crowd a couple of times and then greatness ensued when she started rapping!!!
Tiffany had one helluva busy Sunday night ... which ended in spectacular fashion at Netflix's Golden Globes after-party in Bev Hills. Tiffany muscled her way over to the DJ's booth, grabbed the mic and hyped the crowd up before rapping to City Girls' banger, "Act Up."
Ya gotta see the crowd under a massive tent on a lot adjacent to the Beverly Hilton Hotel. They went nuts!!!
It was a pretty eventful night for Tiffany. The comedian, who wore an elegant pink dress, displayed a Star of David necklace honoring her Black Jewish roots on her father's side, which she discovered after taking a genealogy test.
The "Like a Boss" actress -- along with the lovely Salma Hayek -- also presented "Chernobyl" with a Golden Globe in the Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television category.

Golden Globes After the Party, It's the After-Party ... And Everyone Showed Up
As the Golden Globes broadcast wound down, the after-parties fired up -- and it was truly a who's-who of Hollywood ... 'cause everyone and their mothers came through.
Some of the biggest studios in showbiz threw their own respective shindigs, including Hulu, Amazon, HBO, Netflix, Warner Bros. and others. That was more than enough to get mostly everyone who'd just been at the Beverly Hilton to come out for another hurrah.
Folks like Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Isla Fisher, Naomi Watts, Tiffany Haddish, Awkwafina, Kate Beckinsale, Patrick Stewart, Paris Hilton, Joaquin Phoenix, La La Anthony, Keegan-Michael Key, Helen Mirren, ScarJo and Al Pacino were in attendance.
Other stars seemed to be down to pose as duos, like Sofia Vergara and Sarah Hyland; Salma Hayek and Patricia Arquette; Nicholas Braun and Robert Greenblatt; Sabrina Carpenter and Joey King; Lisa Bonet and Zoey Kravits; Jason Momoa and Sacha Baron Cohen ... and lots more.
If you thought anybody who's anybody was at the Globes, the parties afterward were exponentially even more so. Bottom line ... if you're famous, you were at one of these.

2020 Golden Globes Go with Dark or Bright Colors, Kid ... No In Between!!!
The Golden Globes are minutes away and it looks like Hollywood's gone with a washing machine approach to their getups, which has most everyone in either darks or lights.
Tons of stars stopped and posed for pictures on the way into the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and it's pretty clear a lot of them were either down to be draped in black, or the exact opposite ... with bright, loud colors. Not a whole lot in between, as far as we can see.
Some of the celebs who went with darker shades this year ... Naomi Watts, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Jennifer Aniston, Christina Applegate, Margot Robbie (ish), Cynthia Erivo and Carol Burnett.
A lot of the guys were naturally in darker colors too, including Ricky Gervais, Eddie Murphy, Kit Harington, Henry Winkler, Brad Pitt, Rami Malek and on and on.
Now, on the other end of things, there were also tons of actors who went with rainbow colors ... like Tiffany Haddish in pink, Roman Griffin Davis in orange, Olivia Colman in red, Zoey Deutch in yellow, Dakota Fanning in purple, Thomasin McKenzie in blue, Joey King and Billy Porter in white and Kaitlyn Dever in ... something that was a floral mix of sorts.
There was even more looks behind the scenes, where the stars mentioned above and more mingled and mixed with handshakes, hugs and congratulations as the Globes started getting doled out.
From the inside out, this year's Golden Globes proved to be a feel-good, fashion-forward affair.
Either way, everyone looks great dressed to the nines. Here's hoping they can sit down with all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the show.

Ansel Elgort & GF Violetta Hit Tiffany & Co. ... Just a Globes Fitting, No Rings
-
Exclusive

6:58 PM PT -- Sources connected to Ansel tell TMZ ... he and Violetta were not checking out rings -- they were simply getting fitted for jewelry they plan to wear at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
Ansel Elgort and his girlfriend raised eyebrows this weekend in a high-end jewelry store, where they seemed to be shopping for bling in an area couples often go before saying, "I do."
The actor was spotted browsing through a display case Saturday at Tiffany & Co. in Bev Hills -- and we got a shot of him and his GF of damn near 8 years, Violetta Komyshan, looking at something she was trying on ... on a floor where we're told engagement rings are sold.
Ansel and Violetta were on the second floor of the 3-floor shop -- and Tiffany & Co. tells us that's where they peddle their diamond rocks at this location. Unclear what piece of jewelry captured their gaze, but they were definitely being helped by an employee.
In fact, an eyewitness tells us Violetta was actually checking various pieces -- again, though, no word on what specifically. That said, rings are certainly available in the showroom.
From the looks of the photo, it's a bit hard to tell if the couple is staring down at Violetta's finger or wrist, or if Ansel himself is holding something between his fingers. But, IF they were actually peeping possible engagement rings, the timing would make sense.
Ansel and Violetta appear to have just touched down after a romantic holiday getaway in the Dominican Republic, where the PDA between them two was on full display. They were staying at an expensive private villa, which rents for $15k a night. They stayed a full week.
Not only that, but Ansel and Violetta have been together since 2012 ... and look to be very much in love. What better way to ring in the New Year than with ... well, a ring?
We've reached out to Ansel's reps for comment ... so far, no word back.

Hollywood's finest came out in droves for a pre-Golden Globes event which saw them mingling with Olympians -- and the get-together was nothing short of a tearjerker.
The ritzy shindig went down Saturday afternoon at one of the first-ever homes established in Bev Hills ... the Virginia Robinson Gardens mansion. It's called Gold Meets Golden, and the whole idea is to pair celebs with pro athletes all in the name of charity -- this in anticipation of Sunday's award show and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, of course.
For this 7th year -- which was hosted/presented by Coca Cola, BMW Beverly Hills, FASHWIRE along with other sponsors -- the proceeds were going toward Angel City Sports ... an org promoting adaptive sports for kids, adults and vets with physical disabilities.
Definitely a cause worth getting behind ... and you could tell as much by who showed up -- including Nicole Kidman, Chris Evans, Rami Malek, Taron Egerton, Cynthia Erivo, Matt Bomer, Ben Platt, Beanie Feldstein, Zoey Deutch, Joey King, Naomi Watts, Lou Ferringo and more.
Of the Olympians and athletes in attendance ... Jackie Joyner Kersee, Nadia Comaneci, Bart Connors, Ibtihaj Muhammad, Ian Thorpe, Willie Gault, Metta World Peace, Apollo Anton Ohno, Kristi Yamaguchi and several others.
Check out the clip above ... you see Cynthia belting out a rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine," Taron and Sistine Stallone putting medals on the 2014 bobsled team and Matt Bomer presenting a cake to diver Greg Louganis for his 60th bday this month.
We're told there wasn't a dry eye throughout Saturday's proceedings -- and by the looks of all this ... we can see why. Pretty heartwarming stuff here 💖

Director Terry Gilliam Criticizes #MeToo ... Stop Blaming White Men for All of It!!!
-
Breaking News

Terry Gilliam let it rip in a no-holds-barred interview in which he BLASTS #MeToo, defends white men "taking blame" ... and misidentified his gender and race in jest.
The director, writer and former member of the Monty Python comedy team recently sat down for an interview with The Independent, and rather than discuss his new movie ... more so, he wanted to air out his grievances over being a victimized white male in 2020.
Reading the entire thing in full is worth it, but just to give you a snapshot of Terry's stance on social issues ... he says stuff like #MeToo is nothing more than a blame game.
Of a female character in his flick, "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote," who becomes an escort, he says ... "In the age of #MeToo, here’s a girl who takes responsibility for her state. Whatever happened in this character’s life, she’s not accusing anybody."
He goes on ... "We’re living in a time where there’s always somebody responsible for your failures, and I don’t like this. I want people to take responsibility and not just constantly point a finger at somebody else, saying, 'You’ve ruined my life.'"
Then, Terry moves on to the alleged victims of Harvey Weinstein, many of whom he dubs "ambitious adults" who made choices while trying to come up in the industry.
Of the disgraced movie mogul, Terry says ... "There are many victims in Harvey’s life, and I feel sympathy for them, but then, Hollywood is full of very ambitious people who are adults and they make choices." Terry worked with HW in 2005 for 'The Brothers Grimm."
Michael Jackson Estate Accusers Given Green Light to Sue for Sexual Abuse
-
Exclusive

12:20 PM PT -- The Estate just gave TMZ this statement ..."The Court of Appeal did NOT revive the lawsuits by Mr. Robson and Mr. Safechuck against the Estate of Michael Jackson. Both of those lawsuits were dismissed in 2016" -- just as we said in the post. They also say the 2 men "absurdly claim that Michael's employees are somehow responsible for sexual abuse that never happened." They also note the appeals court did not address the merits of the claims ... that's for a jury to decide.
The 2 men who were featured in "Leaving Neverland" who accused Michael Jackson of molesting them as children have just won a huge legal victory ... because a California appeals court has just given them the right to sue for sexual abuse.
A trial judge threw out the cases of James Safechuck and Wade Robson, on grounds they waited too long to file their claim. When they filed their lawsuits, California law did not support their claim, because the statute of limitations required them to file before they turned 26. At the time they filed, Robson was 30 and Safechuck was 36.
But, a new law took effect on January 1, 2020, which allows sexual abuse victims to sue until they're 40. A California appeals court just ruled the new law allows both Robson and Safechuck to have their cases tried -- presumably before a jury.
It's a huge reversal of fortune. Up till now, the MJ companies have been able to fend off these claims based on the statute of limitations, but that's all changed as of New Year's Day.

Ansel Elgort hit up the perfect spot to ring in the New Year with his bikini-clad GF ... a villa in the Dominican Republic that had all the bells and whistles.
Ansel has spent a week in the luxurious beachside of Cap Cana. The actor clearly doesn't subscribe to the "twos company, threes a crowd mantra" ... because joining them on the trip was also Ansel's mom.
All good though ... cause there's plenty of space to spread around in this SICK villa. The rental pad -- known as Villa Las Hamacas -- is a $20 million estate featuring 6 bedrooms, an infinity pool and concierge service.
If the villa looks familiar ... it's cause Bella Thorne stayed in the same one just last month. It rents for a cool $15k per night ... but don't forget -- the rental includes a butler!!!
Ansel and his GF, Violetta Komyshan, have a knack for getting wild at some of the best beaches in the world. You'll recall the longtime couple was all over each other in Mexico around this time last year.
This time around, Ansel posted a picture of himself carrying Violetta and getting real handsy. He captioned it, "How you gon be mad on vacation?" Can't be mad ... especially after he was just named a presenter at this weekend's Golden Globe Awards.
Helluva way to start your 2020.

Other standout actors in the provocative film are Jacob Sewell as the frail Bunny Boy, Daniel Martin as Jarrod ... and, of course, Chloe Sevigny as the foxy Dot.

Ricki Lake Gets Buzz Cut ... Reveals Struggle with Hair Loss, Depression
-
Breaking News

Ricki Lake's goal in 2020 and beyond is to be free and real -- starting with her hair, which has been a major source of pain in her life ... but she vows no more.
The "Hairspray" star and former talk show host just revealed her new buzz-cut hairdo, and the story that goes with it is both heart-wrenching and inspiring.
Ricki starts with the good news -- her haircut isn't a sign that she's sick or suffering through a mid-life crisis or a mental breakdown, but she has been suffering ... through decades of hair loss.
Lake says the struggle has been "debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely" and adds ... "There have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it. Almost no one in my life knew the level of deep pain and trauma I was experiencing."
She says her hair loss began with her role in the 1988 film due to all the treatments and teasing of her locks, but over the years it was due to many other factors -- dieting, dyes, genetics, stress, hormonal birth control, pregnancies and so on.
Ricki says she's tried everything to restore her hair but it hasn't worked, so instead of going through the emotional pain over and over again ... she decided to set herself free.
She says, "I buzzed my hair off and it feels so good!"
Lake says her goal from now on is to be real and done hiding, adding ... "I am liberated. I am free. I am releasing and letting go. I am brave. I am beautiful I am love."

John Boyega Pisses Off 'Star Wars' Fans With 'Laying Pipe' Joke About Rey
John Boyega is leaving 2019 in a blaze of glory ... defending himself to the death after he was accused of being sexist over a joke he cracked about his female costar, Daisy Ridley.
The 'Star Wars' actor responded to a ton of mega fans Tuesday after a screenshot of a comment he recently left on someone's Instagram post went viral -- which shows him saying, "it's not about who she kisses but who eventually lays the pipe. You are a genius."
His comment was in response to some rando who made light of the fact John's character, Finn, doesn't get the girl at the end of 'Rise of Skywalker.' If you haven't seen it, this is a spoiler ... Rey kisses/falls for Kylo Ren and Finn's apparent love for her goes unrequited.
After his pipe joke, JB got blown up (metaphorically speaking) on Twitter, with people calling him misogynistic, sexist and bitter over Finn's fate and the end of the franchise. He's been hitting back, though, making fun of everyone who's taking it so damn seriously.
He even put up a meme mocking Rey and Kylo Ren's "romance," which mostly shows them fighting and Rey in complete distress. It appears to be in good fun, but folks are still coming for him over what many perceive to be a remark made in bad taste and harmful.
Still, he kinda doubled down on his pipe line, but later suggested he was just talking about the characters in a joking manner, and didn't mean for it to translate to real life. In response to one user, he wrote ... "i was talking about Rey from Star Wars. When did I speak about women in general? Where did I even mention holes? ... Bye now."
In a world full of John Boyega, be an Adam Driver. pic.twitter.com/KWXwr7sHlg
— maR (@ThatsReyloStan) December 31, 2019 @ThatsReyloStan
People have noted John doesn't have any more 'Star Wars' obligations, and that might be why he's speaking so freely. Either way ... the guy obviously doesn't care about Reylo shippers, or those easily offended as the decade comes to an end.
Let 'em have it, John. The sassy comebacks, that is.

Jeffrey Davies -- who played Kelly Leak in the 2005 comedy "Bad News Bears" -- is fighting like hell to regain function after a terrifying accident left him nearly paralyzed.
According to law enforcement, Davies was riding a motorcycle close to midnight back in May, when he lost control at the center of an intersection and was thrown from the bike.
Jeffrey's Mom, Kim, says her son was rushed to Orlando Medical Center after suffering a serious head injury that required surgery. During surgery, we're told, doctors had to partially remove Jeffrey's skull to relieve pressure in his brain.
It's been over 7 months since the accident but Jeffrey's still in major recovery mode. He's had to learn how to talk and walk. Jeffrey -- the local troublemaker/superstar baseball player in the film starring Billy Bob Thorton -- requires speech and occupational therapy plus tons of medical supplies. Reliable transportation's also an issue since he's confined to a wheelchair.

Harvey Weinstein's embroiled in multiple court cases that could land him in prison, so maybe it's not surprising he's focusing on the simple things in life ... like a bowl or 2 of ice cream.
The former movie mogul was at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, New Jersey Saturday looking low-key in a grey hoodie. He sat alone, eating not one but 2 ice cream sundaes as he perused some paperwork.
An eyewitness tells us Weinstein used a walker as he got to his feet and left. A source close to Weinstein tells us he was at the hotel for a vacation and to get some rest and relaxation.
TMZ broke the story ... Weinstein got back surgery earlier this month, a procedure called a bilateral laminectomy. We're told the whole thing lasted around 3 hours. The surgery -- better known as decompression surgery -- enlarges the spinal canal to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerves.
As we reported ... Harvey could barely walk on his own when he got to court just days before his surgery ... we're told the hope is he'll be fully recovered in a few more weeks.
The heat is certain on Weinstein ... as we reported, an L.A. County Grand Jury is hearing allegations against him and we're told it will likely result in additional charges.

The update comes amid reports he'd recently come down with typhoid or another bacteria-related sickness while filming his new Quibi show overseas, which required him to be airlifted to an airport in Australia, and then transported to a hospital from there.
According to local outlets, he was released and cleared to travel back to the U.S. on Christmas Eve. On Saturday, he surfaced in L.A. looking relatively healthy with a shopping bag in hand. It's crazy ... typhoid can be fatal if not treated correctly. Definitely scary.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
All's well that ends well, we suppose. Dude's back home and seems to be okay. BTW, his new show is called "Killing Zac Efron" ... a little too on the nose there, huh?
Obama My Fave Movies of 2019 ... More Indies, Kinda Light on Netflix
Barack Obama just announced his favorite movies of the year, and it looks like he's a mild fan of the studio he and his wife have partnered with to make cinematic magic.
The former Prez released a list of his top movies of 2019, and they include a ton of indie flicks ... most of which were not produced or distributed by Netflix. That's not to say the company was excluded completely -- four of their movies made it in, including his own.
Of the Netflix titles that were mentioned ... "Marriage Story," "The Irishman," "Atlantics" and the mister and missus's High Ground Productions documentary, "American Factory."
It's one of the first projects Barack and Michelle have produced under their recently announced multi-year deal with Netflix, and it's already gotten tons of praise. The doc's about a shuttered GM plant in Ohio that gets resurrected by a Chinese company, which integrates their own factory workers with Americans in what proves to be a culture clash.
Next up are my favorite movies and TV shows of 2019. Of course, there’s also American Factory, a film from our own production company, Higher Ground, that was recently shortlisted for an Oscar. Here’s the full list: pic.twitter.com/PEcgwotcxm
— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) December 29, 2019 @BarackObama
Interestingly, there's more independent movies released under different studios Obama seems to have liked more this year ... like "The Farewell," "The Souvenir," "Ford v Ferrari," "Just Mercy," "'Little Women," "The Last Black Man in San Francisco," "Birds of Passage" and others.
He also released some TV shows he was into, and Netflix made the cut there as well with "Unbelievable." From a bird's-eye view, it looks like 44's got pretty sophisticated taste.
Makes ya wonder what DT's watching these days ... 🤔
