Netflix Don't Blame New 'Notebook' Ending on Us ... We Got the Wrong Copy!!!
Netflix UK is working it's ass off to fix a huge issue in the version it released of "The Notebook" ... with an alternate ending that doesn't show the flick's main characters die together!!!
For the uninitiated ... Netflix UK released the 2004 film on its streaming service. Fans were completely caught off guard after the original ending -- showing Allie and Noah get into their hospital bed together, hold hands and die -- is completely cut out. This is the original ending:
The alternative ending that's got fans foaming at the mouth shows no one dying, the couple holding hands and talking about miracles before cutting to a scene showing birds flying over a lake.
Netflix tells us there are a couple things fans should know -- Netflix did NOT edit the film. The streaming giants went on to say, "An alternate version exists and was supplied to us -- we are getting to the bottom of it asap. Apparently, some films have more than one ending?!"
BTW ... the author of the book, Nicholas Sparks, was on the "Today" show and said he prefers the original ending. For what it's worth ... "The Notebook" hits Netflix in the states on March 1. Netflix says rest assured "The Notebook" will be the version "that has always made you sob hysterically."

'Last Chance U' Coach Jason Brown Resigns ... After Hitler Text
Jason Brown -- the head football coach featured on seasons 3 and 4 of "Last Chance U" -- has resigned after sending texts to one of his players saying, "I'm your new Hitler."
The scandal broke last week after the Montgomery County Chronicle newspaper published text messages Brown sent to freshman Alexandros Alexiou, who was born in Germany.
Brown's controversial career at Independence Community College in Kansas has been documented on the Netflix series "Last Chance U" for the past 2 seasons ... where he often used strong, explicit language to chew out players.
Regarding Alexiou, Brown had reached out via text to scold the player for racking up more "points" in the team's disciplinary point system -- in which players get dinged every time they violate team rules.
"410pm on field u German f*ck," Brown texted to Alexiou ... “u have 17 points toward your 25 points. U got an extra point for not hanging the lion poster as instructed."
"I’m your new Hitler," Brown added ... "Figure out your life.”
The school launched an investigation into Brown last week -- but on Sunday, the coach announced his resignation.
"It is with strong emotions that I announce my decision to resign as Head Football Coach at Independent Community College," Brown said in a statement.
After listing his accomplishments, Brown said ... "The events of the past few weeks has led me to resign."
"Given what has most recently been allowed to transpire, it is clear, that it will be nearly impossible to stay here."
"More plainly, the Montgomery County Chronicle has greatly diminished my ability to do my job, and has set this football program back significantly, and the cumulative effect of all these detrimental factors I believe clearly constitute a constructive discharge of my employment."
Brown added, "I urge all the naysayers on campus and in town to really look at yourself in the mirror and do a self-evaluation of yourself before so harshly judging others."
Brown has coached at ICC for 3.5 years.

'Abducted in Plain Sight' Victim Movie Offers Rolling In ... 'This is Us' Meets 'Breaking Bad' Meets Pedophilia
Millie Bobby Brown is spot on for the starring role in a movie adaption of the "Abducted in Plain Sight" documentary ... so says the woman who was kidnapped and repeatedly molested.
Jan Broberg Felt, the victim who spoke out in the insanely popular Netflix doc, tells TMZ she's fielding tons of calls from Hollywood producers interested in turning her story into a feature film ... and it sounds like just about every producer in Hollywood is pitching a flick.
You've heard the story ... a little of this movie meets a little of that movie. In her case, she sees her family in "This Is Us," and sees the f***** up part of her family as "Breaking Bad."
If you haven't seen the doc ... Jan shares her harrowing tale of being kidnapped TWICE and raped multiple times by her neighbor, Robert "B" Berchtold -- a scandal that rocked her Idaho community.
As for her movie offers ... Jan wants her story told in its entirety ... something she feels wasn't accomplished in the 90-minute doc.

'Punisher' Star Jason R. Moore Cancellation's Part of the Biz ... But I Wish Eminem Spoke Up Sooner!!!

Jason R. Moore's super chill for a guy whose show just got axed -- in fact, he's way less upset about the situation than one of its biggest fans ... Eminem.
"The Punisher" star -- who played Curtis Hoyle on the Netflix series -- was leaving a Starbucks Friday in Studio City and gave us a thoughtful take on the show being canceled, and why he saw it coming.
Jason was also pretty stoked to learn Eminem's a big 'Punisher' fan ... as the rapper made clear on Twitter this week.
Sadly for Marshall, Jason doesn't think there's a chance to revive the show -- at least not with the current cast -- for many reasons ... unless they can go back in time and get Eminem to yell at the Netflix honchos.
Time traveling Eminem? Now, THAT would be awesome!

'Abducted in Plain Sight' Victim Michael Jackson is Just Like My Rapist
Michael Jackson is a lot like the pedophile neighbor featured in "Abducted in Plain Sight" ... at least according to the victim who spoke out in the Netflix documentary.
If you haven't seen it ... Jan Broberg Felt tells the horrific tale of being kidnapped TWICE and raped multiple times by her neighbor, Robert 'B' Berchtold. She was a pre-teen and teenager during her ordeal, and she sees obvious similarities between how Berchtold got away with molesting her and what Jackson's alleged victims describe in "Leaving Neverland."
Jan says B and Jackson were both beloved -- MJ on a much larger scale, obviously.
She says no one in her Idaho community wanted to believe that someone so charismatic could commit such despicable crimes -- and admits she personally thought the exact same thing about Jackson.
Jan thinks all of these new documentaries shedding light on celebs and non-celebs accused of pedophilia are long overdue, adding that no one should be able to get away with harming kids.
The Jackson estate has repeatedly dismissed Wade Robson and James Safechuck -- the accusers in 'Neverland' -- as proven liars.
Jan, who's been through it herself, tells us why she firmly believes people like Wade and James have a lot more to lose than gain by coming forward.

Ja Rule Andy King's Getting Jobs ... Finally, Some Good Out of Fyre!!!
Ja Rule's found a couple of Fyre Fest silver linings -- one involving event planner Andy King, who famously offered oral sex for crates of Evian, and the other has to do with Ja's business sense.
The rapper was at Newark Airport when Adam Glyn asked him if he had any insight on the infamous scene in Netflix's "Fyre" documentary ... where Andy King admitted he nearly took one for the team as the festival was imploding.
Ja says he knew nothing about that happening at the time, but he was grinning from ear to ear after hearing Andy has now made a name for himself.
In fact, Ja Rule says even though he hasn't seen the Netflix doc, he'd love to see more good come out of it.
Check out the clip ... the rapper -- who BTW is still feeling the Fyre -- says he learned a lot from the experience and even offers young visionaries and entrepreneurs some sage advice.

'Fyre' Star Andy King Glad I Trusted Director ... My Oral Sex Story is Paying Off!!!
Andy King's blown away by his newfound fame -- courtesy of his infamous scene in Netflix's "Fyre" documentary -- but admits he almost missed out, because he wanted it on the editing room floor.
The event planner who offered oral sex in exchange for a load of Evian water for the doomed Fyre Festival ... told us he begged producers to axe that part of the story. While he was on TMZ Live today he revealed why the director put the kibosh on that.
Andy's now glad he did, because TV and movie offers have been rolling in since the doc aired, and he's riding the wave of being a social media hero while he can.
As we told you ... Andy's already teased a TV project he's working on, but it sounds like there's a lot more in store for him. There could be even more excitement, too ... if Ja Rule comes calling.
Andy didn't leap at Ja's second attempt at a Fyre-like fest -- but he doesn't rule it out, either.

Ja Rule Don't Rule Out Fyre Fest 2.0 ... It Could be Iconic!!!
You gotta admire Ja Rule's gusto because, despite the massive fiasco that was Fyre Festival, he's not giving up on the dream of making it happen ... for real this time.
We got the rapper Thursday at LAX and he says he still hasn't watched either of the popular documentaries on Fyre. As you know, it ended with Ja's Fyre biz partner, Billy McFarland, going to prison, and landing on the wrong end of a $2.8 million suit.
He says he's not laughing off the ordeal, because he lived through it and it was heartbreaking -- but it sounds like he's got a huge redemption story in mind.
Check out the clip ... Ja tells us he's back at it with a Fyre-like app, and has plans for a festival that will actually turn out to be as "iconic" as advertised. We smell another documentary -- maybe with a happy ending this time.
Speaking of which, if Ja's smart he'll get Andy King on the team again!

'Extremely Wicked' Director Efron Was 1st Choice for Bundy ... Lemme Tell You Why
Zac Efron was not too good-looking to play Ted Bundy ... in fact, the director says Zac's looks underscore the very, very dark point of the flick.
Joe Berlinger, the director of "Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile," told our photog Wednesday in NYC ... Zac's looks were a plus, but they took a backseat to his acting chops. Joe clearly couldn't be more pleased with Zac's performance, echoing reviews that called it "career-changing."
That said, Joe notes Bundy was able to disarm people with his looks and charm, and the film makes a statement that people who seem desirable on the outside are capable of monstrous conduct.
Joe says Bundy was a testament to the notion of perceived normalcy ... everything you see on the outside may look acceptable, but it's often not what it seems.
The movie was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival and Netflix acquired the distribution rights. Berlinger also directed the series "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes," so his Bundy knowledge runs deep.
Gotta say ... Zac's come a long way from "High School Musical."

Netflix 'Fyre' Star Andy King I'll Show What Fyre Fest Could've Been ... TV Gig in the Works!!!
Andy King -- the event planner who offered oral sex in exchange for Evian (lots of it) at the doomed Fyre Festival -- is ready for his close-up ... strictly above the waist.
Andy tells TMZ ... he's received offers from multiple networks for a reality series since his unforgettable scenes in the Netflix 'Fyre' documentary. He says cameras would follow him doing what he does ... hosting major events around the world.
Andy says his show will absolutely focus on the drama and stress involved in putting on huge events -- a la the Fyre Festival -- but will also show the fun side. Presumably when things do NOT implode ... a la Fyre.
As for Fyre villain Billy McFarland, Andy still thinks Billy's heart was in the right place and he's not a bad guy -- he just made some very bad decisions.
Understatement much?
Unlike Billy, Andy says the events on his show will give back to the communities where they take place. Don't get the wrong idea ... he means financially.

Jerry Seinfeld A Comedian in a Car Getting Sued
-
EXCLUSIVE
5:08 PM PT -- Jerry's attorney, Orin Snyder, tells TMZ, "Jerry has been working in good faith to get to the bottom of this matter. He has asked Fica Frio for evidence to substantiate the allegations. Fica Frio ignored Jerry and instead filed this frivolous lawsuit."
He continued, "Jerry consigned the car to Gooding and Company, an auction house, which is responsible for the sale. Nevertheless, Jerry is willing to do what's right and fair, and we are confident the court will support the need for an outside evaluator to examine the provenance of the car."
Jerry Seinfeld has a hit show involving cars, and now he has a lawsuit involving one.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Jerry auctioned off a 1958 Porsche 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster and the winning bid was a whopping $1.54 million.
The buyer, FICA FRIO Ltd., says the authentication of the vehicle was bogus. What's more ... the buyer is saying Jerry intentionally misrepresented the authenticity of the whip. The suit says in the history file of the Porsche, the person who sold it to Jerry said, "Unfortunately we do not have a lot of information on the 1958 Porsche 356 A 1500 GT Carrera Speedster. We purchased the car from a broker who would not take me to the cars (sic) original location to meet the family that owned it originally."
The buyer took the car to one of the world's foremost historic Porsche dealers who expressed concern about the authenticity, and an investigation revealed it wasn't the real deal. On June 21, 2018, the suit claims Jerry called a rep for the buyer and left a voicemail that said he wanted to "offer my apology for this nuisance and assure you that you will be completely indemnified in full and not have to keep the car and get all your money back."
Porsche built only 151 Carrera Speedsters between 1955 and 1959, and fewer than 90 had the GS/GT trim the buyer thought he was getting.
The buyer says he didn't get his money, and is now suing to rescind the sale and get his money back. He's also suing for punitive damages.
We reached out to Seinfeld ... so far, no word back.

Netflix Sued By Osho International Over 'Wild Wild Country'

EXCLUSIVE
Netflix is being sued by the company that carries the torch for Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh -- aka Osho -- who was featured in the hit documentary, "Wild Wild Country."
Osho International Foundation claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the documentary stole "substantial portion" of Osho's copyrighted works. For instance, the lawsuit claims the first episode alone includes 88 discreet instances of appropriation.
The Netflix documentary chronicles the Rajneeshpuram takeover of a small town in Oregon in the 1980s. The production was a massive hit for the streaming service ... earning 5 nominations for Primetime Emmys, and winning for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
The suit claims Osho International gave Netflix a heads up in 2018 of the infringement, but got no response back.
Osho -- aka Bhagwan Rajneesh -- died in 1990, but lives on through the Foundation ... which now wants the profits Netflix made off the doc.

Ted Bundy People Are Dying to See His SLC Crib ... Pissing Off Tenants
Renewed interest in Ted Bundy has attracted tons of voyeurs to his former Utah residence -- which has become a giant pain in the ass for residents.
A tenant who lives in the 2-story, 5-unit home -- which continues to serve as a boarding house, of sorts -- tells TMZ, foot traffic at the crib has significantly increased since the release of Netflix's 'Ted Bundy Tapes' doc and Zac Efron's Bundy film trailer.
Bundy lived here from 1974-1975 -- and urban legend has it, he might've even brought some of his victims back to the home. We're told Bundy used to stay in Room #2, which has since been relabeled Room #5. The tenant says somebody currently occupies that space.
What's really upsetting ... the barrage of gawkers cropping up in increasing numbers. We're told many simply wanna snap photos of the pad, while others have the audacity to peruse the grounds to eyeball a fire escape he used to climb when he wanted to come and go unnoticed.
The tenant tells us it's beginning to upset some of the other residents, some of whom, we're told, now close their blinds and are growing irritated by the invasion of privacy. We're told this type of attention was limited to Halloween, but now it's nonstop.

Jerry O'Connell I'd Love to Play Billy McFarland ... For Feature Fyre Fest Flick
Jerry O'Connell wants to play Billy McFarland in the worst way ... and his impression of B.M. makes him more than worthy.
We got Jerry and his wife, Rebecca Romijn, Tuesday at LAX and asked how they'd feel about a scripted reimagining of the "the best party that never happened" hitting the big screen.
Turns out Jerry and Rebecca are Fyre nuts, who've watched both the Hulu and Netflix documentaries.
We talked to McFarland shortly after his would-be music fest came crashing down, and at the time he explained how he and his team tried hard to make it work.
As for whether the models who were involved in promoting the Fyre Fest -- some of whom are still being indirectly roped in to the story, even now -- should feel bad about their role in all this ... Rebecca -- a former model -- actually comes to their defense.
One thing's for sure ... these two definitely know their Fyre Festival history!

Ted Bundy Survivor I Don't Mind Zac Efron's Hot Take ... As Long as People Learn
Zac Efron starring as Ted Bundy is pissing off a lot of people who think a full-on heartthrob shouldn't be playing a serial killer -- but, one rare survivor of Bundy's killing spree thinks Zac's a perfect fit.
We spoke with Kathy Kleiner Rubin -- who was brutalized by Bundy at Florida State University's Chi Omega house in '78 -- and she tells us she doesn't really mind Efron's "hot take" as Bundy, or the trailer for "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile." It plays more like a fast-paced action flick than a dark portrayal of a serial killer.
Kathy concedes that the movie might treat its subject matter too lightly -- but, what's most important to her is that people realize Ted's true nature: charming and handsome on the outside, and a monster on the inside.
Kathy also has a warning for women everywhere ... BE AWARE!!!
She hopes Zac's Bundy movie and the new Netflix documentary teach people to be wary when dealing with a seemingly trustworthy face.
If 'Extremely Wicked' accomplishes that, Kathy says she'll be satisfied, even if it has to come with a little Hollywood flare.
