A U.S. Senate staffer who was filmed having sex in a high-profile space on Capitol Hill has lost his job after a tape showing the deed leaked -- and now cops are investigating.

The man depicted in the footage -- which was first published by The Daily Caller, and which has been making the rounds online since -- has been identified as 24-year-old Aidan Maese-Czeropski ... an aide to Democratic Maryland Senator Ben Cardin.

Unclear exactly when this sex tape was filmed, but TDC got its hands on it and threw it up on its site. Indeed, it shows Maese-Czeropski having anal sex with another man in a judiciary hearing room within the Hart Senate Office Building ... and reports indicate it's one where confirmations/grillings go down -- including for SCOTUS nominees, etc.

The camera is being held by the man who's doing the penetrating -- he films both Maese-Czeropski in front of him and the empty room that they're in ... capturing lots of angles.

It appears the two men are having sex where Senators themselves often sit ... perched up on the bench and looking down onto the table where witnesses/nominees would normally be.

Once the staffer in question was linked to Cardin ... a spokesman for his office confirmed the guy was no longer working for the lawmaker -- saying, "Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter."

Aidan himself appears to have also addressed the scandal -- a purported message from his since-scrubbed LinkedIn is being circulated ... and it reads in part, "This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda."

He adds, "While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated." Just about all of Aidan's social pages have now been wiped.

Donald Trump's going viral for jabbing President Biden over a couple deaths linked to Panera lemonade ... but someone's putting words in Trump's mouth because it's all bogus.

Here's the deal ... there are a series of screenshots from a recent Trump speech going viral online, and they claim to quote Trump blaming Biden for two deaths linked to a new drink from Panera.

Trump and Biden are easy targets here ... it's not crazy to believe Trump would go after Biden for such a story, but it turns out lots of folks are being duped ... because the quotes are totally fake.

The viral images have made up quotes attributed to Trump, where he's saying ... "Everything is bad under Biden. Even the lemonade is killing people. Did you see that? People drink lemonade and die."

The fake Trump quote is referencing a couple recent deaths linked to Panera's new Charged Lemonade, which is super caffeinated.

Other fake Trump quotes included ... "The lemonade didn't kill you when I was president. It was tasty and fun to drink. We loved the lemonade, didn't we?"

Another falsely quotes as Trump saying ... "We did, but not under Biden. Bacon is more money. Gas is more money. The lemonade is more money and it kills you."

The fourth and final says ... "When life hands you lemons, Joe Biden kills you with them."

The screenshots and fake closed captioning is from Trump's recent speech in Iowa ... but anyone watching the speech will find out there's no mention of lemonade whatsoever.

What makes this even more horrific ... the man's grievance was over his salary. The council members were debating whether to give themselves a wartime pay increase. He had been arguing with his fellow council members, left the meeting and came back with the grenades.

The winner of "Squid Game: The Challenge" is inching closer to finally seeing her $4.56M payday, but by the terms of her contract ... TMZ has learned she's still gotta play the waiting game.

Sources tell TMZ ... show champ Mai Whelan -- who recently said her winnings from the Netflix series have yet to hit her bank account -- signed a contract alongside all other contestants that stated the jackpot would be disbursed 30 days after the finale aired.

The finale aired December 6, so 30 days later would be Friday, January 5, 2024 -- so Mai won't get those millions until next year.

Basically, Mai knew all along she'd have to wait a while for the big bucks to roll in ... 'cause the contract she signed informed her about the payment plan.

When she revealed last week she still hadn't seen a dime ... everyone took it as her complaining -- but with the full context of her contract, it's more likely she was reminding producers the clock's ticking!

We're also told it's unclear if she'll receive the money as a lump sum or in increments.

Prince Harry just landed a huge victory in his landmark civil suit against the Mirror Group Newspapers, as the judge found the company illegally obtained information from the royal, awarding him about $180,000 in damages!!!

Judge Timothy Fancourt handed down his ruling Friday in a London courtroom, explaining that MGN-owned newspapers unlawfully gathered personal details about Harry's life and published them for the world to read.

Fancourt determined that the tabloids hacked Harry's phone and gained access to his voicemail messages to write their juicy stories.

In his 2019 suit, Harry claimed the intrusions went on for years, and also targeted his wife, Meghan Markle, causing them "considerable distress."

Judge Fancourt found that 15 out of the 33 articles published by The Sunday Mirror and another paper contained information illegally gathered by hacking into Harry's personal phone between 2004 and 2009. Harry's attorney entered a total of 147 newspaper stories into evidence -- and many of them were forensically analyzed.

Most of Harry's allegations in the suit occurred from 1991 to 2011 at a time when he was running third to the British throne behind his father, King Charles, and his older brother, Prince William.

During the trial, Harry testified for seven hours, making him the first senior royal to take the witness stand in centuries in a court of law.
