DJ Khaled Fiancee's Murdered Brother Was at Apt. for Super Bowl, Not Drugs

Published | Updated

DJ Khaled's fiancee's murdered brother wasn't involved in a drug deal gone bad and was simply caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was shot ... so says a source close to the family.

Nicole Tuck's brother Jonathan was killed in a Bronx apartment Sunday during what the NYPD called a botched weed deal. However, sources close to the family tell us Jonathan was only at the apartment to watch the Super Bowl.

Our sources say while Jonathan was there, there was an attempted robbery and, in trying to defend himself, Jonathan was shot in the back of the head -- not in the face -- as was first reported.

Jonathan was a devoted father to his 2-year-old daughter Gianna. We're told he was a stay-at-home dad who always put family first ... he was a loyal son and uncle as well. Jonathan and Nicole were very close.

DJ Khaled and Nicole tell us, "Our family appreciates the condolences from loved ones and friends ... we are requesting privacy during this difficult time."

Donald Trump 'Disgraceful' That Illegal Killed NFL Player

Published | Updated

Donald Trump says it's "disgraceful" that a former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson was killed by a man who was in the United States illegally ... and is calling for democrats to get tough on the border.

As we previously reported, 26-year-old Jackson was hit by a pickup truck early Sunday morning while he was standing on the shoulder of a highway in Indiana.

Officials believe the man driving the truck is 37-year-old Manuel Orrego-Savala -- a Guatemalan citizen who had been living in the U.S. illegally. Officials believe Orrego-Savala was drunk at the time of the crash and tried to flee the scene.

Once apprehended, officials say Orrego-Savala had been previously deported twice before -- once in 2007 and again in 2009 -- yet somehow made it back and had been living in Indiana.

Now, Trump is weighing in ... saying, "So disgraceful that a person illegally in our country killed @Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson."

"This is just one of many such preventable tragedies. We must get the Dems to get tough on the Border, and with illegal immigration, FAST!"

"My prayers and best wishes are with the family of Edwin Jackson, a wonderful young man whose life was so senselessly taken. @Colts."

Natalee Holloway Mother Sues Oxygen You Tricked Me Into Giving DNA for Phony Show

Published | Updated

4:20 PM PST -- Oxygen sent over this statement:

“We were disappointed to learn of the complaint and its inaccurate depiction of how the series was produced, and we want to reiterate our deep compassion and sympathy for all members of the Holloway family. The documentary series was developed by a production company in close collaboration with Dave Holloway and his long-time private investigator. The show followed his continued search to find answers about his daughter Natalee from a lead he had received. We had hoped, along with Mr. Holloway, that the information was going to provide closure.”

Natalee Holloway's mom is suing Oxygen Media, claiming they duped her into providing a sample of her DNA under the false claim they had discovered what they believed were her daughter's remains.

Elizabeth Ann Holloway says in the lawsuit, Oxygen set out to do a 6-part docuseries on Natalee's 2005 disappearance. The premise was that the network had new evidence concerning her disappearance. Elizabeth says she was told they found human female remains that could be her daughter's.

Elizabeth says Oxygen lied to her ... no such remains were ever found. She says she was horribly embarrassed and never would have provided her DNA or participated in the show had she known the truth.

She's also suing on behalf of her daughter using a legal theory called "outrage." She says the series was not legit ... rather it was a "pre-planned farce."
