Dr. Drew To Pete Davidson Stay Away From Ariana Grande ... Your Life Depends on It

PETE'S FACING DEMONS
TMZ.com

Pete Davidson's life is on the line and Ariana Grande is putting it at risk by trying to contact him ... so says Dr. Drew.

Drew was in Culver City Thursday and he railed on the trolls who have been attacking Pete, calling them "evil." He says Pete is in a super delicate state after a gut-wrenching breakup with Ariana, and people need to get off his back ... because, at this point, his life depends on it.

As we reported, Ariana rushed to see Pete at 30 Rock Saturday after he posted apparent suicide threats ... something that was triggered by one of Ariana's posts in which she went after Kanye West, saying "stop weaponizing mental health. everyone." Pete, who suffers from mental health issues, took it in a deeply personal way.

Bottom line ... Dr. Drew says Pete needs some space to heal.

Pete Davidson Still In Dark Place Thinks the World is Against Him

Pete Davidson thinks the world is against him, and not just internet trolls. He believes even his friends and colleagues don't care if he lives or dies ... even though that's not the case.

Sources close to Pete tell us he's reached out to people in his life and at times lashed out, claiming they were ignoring him and his struggles, and if he did end his life ... they wouldn't care.

STRANGE TIMES
TMZ.com

Now it's clear what Machine Gun Kelly was saying when he told us it was a really "weird time" for Pete and those around him.

We're told Pete has reached out to those in his circle, including colleagues asking for help, but at the same time putting up a wall and even accusing them of ignoring his pain.

As we reported, Ariana Grande was so concerned after Pete posted what seemed like a suicide threat over the weekend, she rushed to 30 Rock to offer him comfort, but he turned her away and even had security block her.

Our sources say Pete's friends have expressed their love for him and they're doing whatever they can to offer him support, but it doesn't seem to be working.

An 'SNL' insider tells us the cast and crew "have been incredibly supportive of Pete."

MGK Weird Times for Pete Davidson ... Post Suicide Scare

STRANGE TIMES
TMZ.com

Machine Gun Kelly didn't give the most reassuring update on his pal, Pete Davidson, after an apparent suicide threat this weekend, saying things are anything but back to normal.

We got MGK Monday in NYC, leaving the Build Series recording studio, where our photog asked for the latest news on the 'SNL' vet after he posted an alarming message Saturday suggesting he was contemplating suicide. Kelly keeps it brief ... things ain't great.

It's definitely not what fans of Pete might wanna hear right now -- but ya gotta respect Kelly's honesty. The good news for Pete ... he's got great friends like MGK around him.

Kelly was quick to respond to Pete's ominous post, saying he was hopping on a plane ASAP to come see him. They reunited after the 'SNL' show, where Pete made an on-camera appearance to introduce Miley Cyrus ... and that was it. We're told he was cut from other sketches because he refused to leave his dressing room during rehearsal.

Kelly wasn't the only one who rushed to Pete's side on Saturday -- his ex-fiancee, Ariana Grande, was also trying to come to his aid ... but Pete was having none of it. Like we first told you ... he had security keep her at bay after word spread she was coming.

Here's hoping Pete can get back to some sense of normalcy soon. Pulling for ya, bud.

Pete Davidson Refused to See Ariana ... After Apparent Suicide Threat

Pete Davidson refused to see Ariana Grande when she rushed to 30 Rock to comfort him over the weekend ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to Pete and NBC tell us, Pete alerted his security to hold his ex-fiancee at bay when she arrived at the building. We're told Pete knew Ariana was on her way, because she was calling friends after he posted what looked like a suicide note. Ariana told friends she was rushing over to NBC, and they dropped a dime on her and gave Pete the heads-up.

As TMZ reported, Pete's alarming post read, "i really don't want to be on this earth anymore. i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last."

Our sources tell us his defense of Kanye triggered the ominous post. Pete had made fun of Kanye's mental illness last October on 'SNL's' Weekend Update. But recently he jumped to Kanye's defense, and supporters of Ye attacked Pete on social media, calling him a hypocrite.

Pete, who has had struggles himself, was clearly on the ropes. As we reported, he wouldn't come out of his dressing room Saturday during rehearsals, and he was relegated to one line on the show ... introducing Miley Cyrus.

Pete Davidson Intros Miley on 'SNL' ... Something's Clearly Wrong

Pete Davidson was a man of few words on 'SNL' Saturday night ... literally.

Pete introduced Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson, and that was all she wrote. He never appeared before or after on the show.

Check out the vid ... Pete sounds down and troubled, which comes as no surprise ... after he posted a message earlier in the day sounding like he was seriously contemplating suicide. It was so serious, Ariana Grande came running to 30 Rock where Pete was rehearsing.

'SNL' production sources tell TMZ ... there's a reason Pete was hardly on the show ... he didn't show up for dress rehearsal, so he was cut out of some of the sketches.

We're told he stayed in his dressing room for most of the show, wearing pajamas. And, we're told, at one point during a commercial, Pete smiled and asked a cast member, "Can I just give you a hug?" We're told the cast member obliged.

After the show, Pete and Machine Gun Kelly were in the same SUV, dropping MGK off at his hotel. MGK said earlier in the day, "im in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he's good, i promise. can't have my boy in the darkness like that."

Ariana was nowhere to be seen during the live show.

Pete Davidson Posts Disturbing Message ... 'I Really Don't Want To Be On This Earth Anymore'

12:15 PM PT -- TMZ has learned Ariana Grande is at the 30 Rock building to see Pete if possible. She tweeted ... "I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but i’m here too."

She also apologized for her "dumb joke" about Kanye and Drake's beef that led to the topic of mental health when Kanye went after her. She said ... "i really didn’t mean any harm. all i want everyone to be healthy and happy. so desperately. please. my god."

Grande also deleted her previous tweets about "triggering" Kanye and commenting on mental health.

11:58 AM PT -- Pete has made numerous comments on social media in the past about suicidal thoughts to varying degrees. He has now wiped all of that clean by deleting his Instagram account. Sources close to Pete tell TMZ ... they believe his emotional turmoil has escalated recently and are very worried about him.

11:43 AM PT -- Multiple sources have told us Pete is at 'SNL' rehearsing for tonight's show. It's bizarre, but it seems like he may have posted his ominous note while he was at work or on the way in.

11:25 AM PT -- NYPD tells TMZ ... it received a flurry of calls from fans worried about Pete, so they've sent officers out to find him to do a welfare check.

Machine Gun Kelly tweeted about the situation, saying he's on a plane to see Pete to make sure he's good.

Jon Cryer also just tweeted that he heard Davidson is at 'SNL' and accounted for.

Pete Davidson just shared a troubling and cryptic message ... implying he's having suicidal thoughts.

The 'SNL' star posted the note on Instagram, saying ... "i really don't want to be on this earth anymore. i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last."

It's unclear to whom Pete's directing his words, but he adds ... "all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."

Davidson's message seems to be a cry for help -- just minutes before he posted it he responded to Kanye West going after his ex, Ariana Grande, by commending Ye for speaking about against mental health issues.

He said ... "I can't explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this."

Just 2 weeks ago, Davidson went off on online trolls for harassing and bullying him, telling them he wouldn't kill himself no matter how hard they tried to get him to. Ariana responded not long afterward, telling her fans to "be gentler" with Pete and others ... saying she cares deeply about him and his health.

As you know, it's been a turbulent year for Pete. He got engaged to Grande and then they split, and he also had to deal with a controversy on 'SNL' for making a joke about a wounded vet.

Speaking of 'SNL' ... there's an all-new episode tonight with host Matt Damon and musical guests Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson. We did some checking, and it doesn't look like Pete was featured in any of the promos this week. It's unclear if he'll show up for work tonight.

Pete's been very open about his mental health issues recently, but it's clear now ... he needs some more help.

Matt Damon No Hard Feelings ... Dining with Ben's Ex-GF

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are like brothers, so our eyebrows went north when we saw this pic of Matt hanging out with Ben's ex after a bad breakup.

Matt broke bread with Lindsay Shookus Tuesday night for an 'SNL' bash at Lattanzi Restaurant in NYC. You're looking at the 2 of them leaving, and Matt seemed to divert more smoothly than Jason Bourne ever did on screen.

By all accounts, Ben's drinking played a big role in the breakup. TMZ broke the story Ben decided he needed help and went to rehab. He's been out for a while and is now clean and sober.

Considering Matt is hosting 'SNL' this coming Saturday, it might just be a business thing that Ben and Lindsay were both at the same party -- Lindsay's a producer for the show. Matt, of course, also slayed as Brett Kavanaugh on 'SNL' this year, so they clearly have had interactions on the set.

Pete Davidson Back in the Saddle ... Date Night with Mystery Woman

Put him in, coach -- Pete Davidson's back playing the field after the Ariana Grande breakup, and we gotta say ... dude knows how to class it up for date night.

The 'SNL' vet was spotted having dinner 1-on-1 Monday night at Carbone in NYC, with a lovely lady sitting across from him. You can see in the pic, it was full wine and dine mode.

This is one of the first times we've seen Pete out on the town with a new girl since he and Ariana split in October and called off their engagement. We're told he has been casually dating. It's also certainly a nice change of pace considering how rocky things have been for him since the breakup, privately and publicly.

Just last week, he announced Internet trolls were encouraging him to kill himself ... but vowed he'd never do any such thing. Way to bounce back, Pete.

As they say ... thank u, next.

Pete Davidson Blasts Online Trolls ... I Won't Kill Myself

Pete Davidson's frustrations with online trolls have reached peak level ... he's putting them on blast and says no matter how many times they tell him to ... he won't kill himself.

The 'SNL' star says he just couldn't keep quiet any longer about the constant harassment he's been getting since he and Ariana Grande started dating.

He says he's been getting bullied online and in public for the last 9 months but doesn't say in what regard, and clearly it's taken a toll on him.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

His IG post comes a day after we reported Ariana had her Pete-inspired tattoo wiped from her foot. It was replaced with a tattoo that's a tribute to her ex, Mac Miller.

It also comes just days after Ariana apologized to Pete in her "Thank U, Next" music vid ... saying, "Sry I dipped."

As you know ... Ariana and Pete broke their engagement back in October. They had only been dating for a few weeks before he proposed to her.

Alec Baldwin My Parking Arrest is a Total Joke ... At Least on 'SNL'!!!

Alec Baldwin must be feeling confident about the outcome of his attempted assault case in NYC ... 'cause he played it for laughs -- while playing President Trump -- on 'SNL.'

The opening skit was about Trump's anger over the Mueller probe and his ex-attorney Michael Cohen flipping. As Alec/Donald put it ... "God, I haven't been this upset since I flipped out over that parking space."

This was Alec's first appearance on the show since he got busted last month for trying to punch a guy who jacked his parking spot. Breaking character to poke fun at the case could be seen as a risky move.

11/2/18
ARRESTED AND TAKEN WAY
TMZ.com

Judges typically don't react well to that sort of thing -- however, the stakes ain't exactly high here. Alec's facing one count of attempted assault in the third degree, and one count of harassment in the second degree -- a misdemeanor and a ticket, basically.

Why not have some fun with it, right?

'SNL' also paid tribute to late President George H.W. Bush during the Weekend Update segment.

They pulled out some of Dana Carvey's best impressions of the 41st Prez -- including that memorable moment when they got the real Bush to challenge Carvey.

Read our lips ... it was funny stuff.

Tom Brady I Probably Won't Do 'SNL' Again ... Here's Why

Tom Brady ain't going to be reprising his role as the terrible throwing dude at a carnival anytime soon -- the Pats QB says his career as a "Saturday Night Live" host is likely over.

And why? He's too damn busy.

"I'm basically on a reality TV show every Sunday afternoon for 3 hours so I feel like I'm on TV enough in the Fall and Winter."

The GOAT appeared on WEEI's "Mut & Callahan" on Monday and was asked about life outside of football -- particularly if he'd ever return to 30 Rock like he did back in 2005 when he famously played "Alan" ... a guy with an arm like Nathan Peterman.

TB12 says he loves the show ... but it's too big of a commitment and he'd rather be hanging out with Gisele and the kids.

"It's hard for my family to give that up," Brady says.

"It's hard to say, 'All right guys, well, I'm going to go off and do another week of something that I've really done before.'"

ICYMI ... the carnival sketch was Brady's best work -- but he also donned a sultan outfit and played the manager of "Falafel City" ... and had a sketch where he joked about his rivalry with Peyton Manning and other QBs.

Good times.

Ben Shapiro Pete Davidson 'SNL' Apology to Dan Crenshaw Best Political Moment in Years

PATCHING THINGS UP
TMZ.com

Conservative talk show host Ben Shapiro says Pete Davidson's apology to Dan Crenshaw was the best political moment he's seen in years ... because it shows a level of civility that has been forgotten in America.

We got Ben Sunday at LAX, and he praised the apology skit to the skies, saying it's a shining light of how liberals and conservatives can disagree but treat each other with a level of civility.

Fact is ... it was an amazing moment on 'SNL,' with Pete apologizing and then the Congressman-elect coming at him with some hilarious jokes. Dan waded in treacherous waters by raising the super sensitive subject of Ariana Grande -- so funny.

The one controversial thing ... when Dan said rather than telling veterans, "Thank you for your service," he said people should say, "Never forget." That's a phrase that has been used to remember the Holocaust.

One thing we're guessing everyone can agree on ... Dan's comedic timing is frickin' amazing!

Dan Crenshaw Gets Apology from Pete Davidson on 'SNL'

Pete Davidson addressed his controversy head-on last night by apologizing to Dan Crenshaw in person and on 'SNL.'

The war veteran and Republican politician appeared Weekend Update with Pete Davidson where Pete sincerely apologized to Dan, and Dan accepted, but not before giving Pete a taste of his own medicine. The icing on the cake is when Dan's phone rings, you have to hear the ringtone.

When the jokes settled, Dan used the moment to urge Americans to come together and forgive. A touching moment during these super-divisive times.

The whole sketch is a very wholesome exchange, and it just goes to show that people can work out their grievances without reaching for the pitchfork.

Pete Davidson on 'SNL' Ariana Mention Was Last Minute 'Ad-lib'

Pete Davidson made a late change right before 'SNL' to mention Ariana Grande's name during this weekend's episode ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the production tell us Pete heard Ariana's new song, "thank u, next," before showtime Saturday night, and that spurred him to write a few lines addressing the breakup. We're told he ran a copy by Lorne Michaels ... and got it approved for his 'Weekend Update' segment.

Pete called Ariana a "wonderful, strong person" and wished her the best ... while also declaring their relationship wasn't anyone's business. Remember, Pete scrubbed an entire skit he'd written about their breakup after Ariana called him out over the promo in which he obtusely referenced their split.

Clearly, he had a change of heart after hearing the tune, which she dropped just 30 minutes before 'SNL' went on the air. FWIW, she refrained from taking any shots at Pete on the track.

NO APOLOGY NEEDED, BUT...
TMZ.com

The Ariana line wasn't the only deviation from the script heading into Saturday. Regarding Dan Crenshaw -- whose war-caused disability Pete mocked -- we're told P.D.'s crass "whatever" comment was delivered completely off the cuff.

Our sources say the joke about Crenshaw looking like a porn movie hitman was written into the script, but Pete made matters worse by improvising those last couple lines.

Dan Crenshaw Pete Davidson Used Me So I'm Gonna Use Him on Tuesday!!!

MAKING LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS
TMZ.com

The war vet Pete Davidson disrespected on 'SNL' concedes there may be a silver lining ... he's now a stand-out in Tuesday's midterm election.

Texas congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw told us on "TMZ Live" ... this could turn into a Beyonce moment ... turning the 'SNL' lemons he's been given into sweet, sweet lemonade ... which could translate into a win for him when the polls close on Tuesday night.

As we reported ... Dan isn't demanding an apology after Pete said Dan looked like a "hitman from a porno" and brushed off his disability with a "whatever." Dan does admit, however, the cheap shot "tore at my core."

As for the sympathy points he's gained since the story's gone viral, Dan says he'll take them, but wants people in the 2nd congressional district of Texas to vote for him for the right reasons -- not out of outrage.

Pete Davidson Taking All the Heat For Wounded Vet Joke ... 'SNL' Skates

Pete Davidson is taking all the heat for his terrible "joke" about wounded veterans ... and somehow no one is blaming it on 'SNL.'

Kenan Thompson just weighed in ... saying Pete "definitely missed the mark," adding, "it's tough when you're fishing for jokes. ..." Kenan noted his dad was a Vietnam vet. There's no mention of 'SNL' shouldering any of the blame for allowing the joke on the air.

Davidson had cracked during weekend update ... GOP congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw -- who wears an eye patch after losing an eye in Afghanistan -- looked like a hitman from a porno, adding, "I know he lost his eye in war or whatever ... whatever."

'SNL' EP Lorne Michaels gives his crew lots of leeway when it comes to creative content, but ultimately the show and presumably Standards and Practices at NBC have the power to nix a "joke" that crosses the line.

NO APOLOGY NEEDED, BUT...
TMZ.com

Dan Crenshaw himself told TMZ, he doesn't need an apology, but 'SNL' needs to think about how jokes about war injuries sit with our vets ... especially when they're not funny.
