Bill Maher's talk show is coming back to HBO ... he says he can't keep waiting around for the writers' strike to end and wants to get other folks back to earning a paycheck.

The "Real Time with Bill Maher" host announced his program's return Wednesday in a social media post ...  he doesn't say when the show will air but says it will have a different look without writers.

Bill, a writer himself, says he sympathizes with striking writers' "important issues ... and hope they are addressed to their satisfaction" ... but he says after 5 months on strike it's time to bring others back to work.

As he explains ... writers "are not the only people with issues, problems, and concerns. Despite some assistance from me, much of the staff is struggling mightily."

Bill's been outspoken about the strike recently, even calling for California Governor Gavin Newsom to step in and help end the stalemate.

Bill says he was hoping the strike would end after Labor Day, but that's since passed and he feels "there still seems to be nothing happening."

He adds ... "I love my writers, I am one of them, but I'm not prepared to lose an entire year and see so many below-the-line people suffer so much."

Bill says he will honor the "spirit of the strike" by doing away with a written monologue, desk piece, editorial or his popular New Rules segment ... all of which leaned on writers in past seasons.

The HBO star has a message for the audience too ... "The show I will be doing without my writers will not be as good as our normal show, full stop. But the heart of the show is an off-the-cuff panel discussion that aims to cut through the bulls*** and predictable partisanship, and that will continue."

It will be interesting to see how writers' guilds react to Bill's plan ... at least one guild effectively labeled Drew Barrymore a scab for bringing her talk show back amid the strike.

The show returns to HBO September 22.

La trágica sobredosis de fentanilo de la ex estrella infantil Austin Majors se produjo mientras estaba en una vivienda de transición (transitional housing), y las autoridades dicen que se encontraron pruebas de consumo de drogas en la escena.

Según el informe del forense obtenido por TMZ, el equipo de seguridad de la instalación donde Majors, de 27 años de edad, se estaba alojando hizo un chequeo de la cama alrededor de las 9:30 PM del 11 de febrero, pero el actor no respondió. Cuando entraron en la habitación, lo encontraron inconsciente en la cama.

El informe señala que Austin había sido visto horas antes comiendo mientras paseaba por el centro, que ofrece alojamiento temporal a personas sin hogar.

El reporte también menciona que el personal de seguridad encontró dos billetes de dólar enrollados, papel de aluminio con un polvo blanco parecido al cristal, pastillas y un vaso de chupito con restos de polvo blanco. La policía recogió todos estos objetos en el marco de la investigación por su muerte.

TMZ dio la noticia, los resultados de la autopsia del ex actor -publicados el mes pasado- revelaron que su muerte se atribuyó a una sobredosis accidental de fentanilo.

El presunto acosador de Drew Barrymore —un hombre llamado Chad Michael Busto— fue arrestado de nuevo y esta vez parece que ha dirigido su atención a otra celebridad... Emma Watson.

Busto fue arrestado el viernes en la ciudad de Nueva York, la policía dijo que irrumpió en un camerino en un show de NYFW (New York Fashion Weeky) y exigió ver a la estrella de "Harry Potter".

Según los documentos judiciales obtenidos por TMZ, Busto le gritó a las modelos y maquilladores dentro del camerino de Brooklyn Navy Yard diciéndoles repetidamente: "Quiero casarme con Emma Watson. Déjenme hablar con Emma Watson. Déjenme tomarme una foto con Emma Watson".

No está claro si Emma estaba en el camerino o incluso en el desfile de la NYFW.

El tipo terminó siendo arrestado después de que la dirección llamara a la policía y ahora ha sido acusado de 2 cargos de alteración del orden público y 2 cargos de allanamiento de morada.

Recordemos que Busto fue detenido por aparecer en la finca de Drew en Hampton el mes pasado, con la policía diciendo que iba de puerta en puerta en busca de la actriz.

TMZ publicó la historia; el martes pasado un juez emitió una orden de detención contra Busto después de que la policía dijera que no se presentó para obtener un monitor GPS de tobillo que se requería después de su detención en la casa de Drew.

Busto apareció por primera vez en el radar de Drew cuando se precipitó a un escenario de Nueva York el mes pasado cuando ella estaba entrevistando a la cantante y actriz Reneé Rapp.

Busto was busted Friday in New York City, with police saying he stormed into a dressing room at a NYFW show and demanded to see the 'Harry Potter' star.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Busto screamed at models and makeup artists inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard dressing room, repeatedly telling them, "I want to marry Emma Watson. Let me speak to Emma Watson. Let me take a photo with Emma Watson."

It's unclear if Emma was in the dressing room or even at the NYFW show.

The guy ended up getting arrested after management called cops, and he's now been charged with 2 counts of disorderly conduct and 2 counts of trespassing.

Remember, Busto was arrested for popping up at Drew's Hamptons estate last month, with police saying he was going door to door looking for her place.

TMZ broke the story ... last Tuesday, a judge issued a bench warrant for Busto's arrest after cops say he failed to show up to get a GPS ankle monitor ... which was required after his arrest at Drew's place.

Busto first got on Drew's radar when he rushed a NYC stage last month as she was interviewing singer/actress Reneé Rapp.

Andrew Yang says voters are disenchanted about President Joe Biden battling Donald Trump in an election day rematch ... which is why he wants to see the other Democrat candidates get some shine.

The former presidential candidate was on "TMZ Live" Wednesday, talking about why he wants Biden to go toe-to-toe in a debate with the 2 Dem challengers -- RFK Jr. and Marianne Williamson.

The way Andrew sees it, another round of 2020's political battle isn't what Americans want, especially with JB and DT both getting up in age. Hence, his push to shake things up.

As we reported, Williamson claims she's getting iced out of network and cable news outlets amid her campaign. For now, she's wisely relying on TikTok to spread word and help her cause.

Andrew says some news organizations are told to not give a spotlight to folks like Williamson or RFK Jr., but he's adamant the fair way to handle things is to give them a platform, too -- especially since they're polling higher than some Republican candidates.

BTW, Andrew left the Democratic party in 2021 and created the Forward Party, a centrist political organization that has been trying to make strides at the local level. His org already declared it won't be putting up a presidential candidate for 2024.

The late "Jeopardy!" host's former estate in Studio City is being demolished this week, with bulldozers and excavators taking the structure to the ground.

It's a bittersweet moment ... Alex lived there for almost three decades until his 2020 death, and he took pride in fixing everything around the home himself and once bought out an entire hardware store for DIY renovations.

Alex's former neighbors tell us a wall with a tarp went up around the property last week, construction equipment showed up over the weekend and crews started razing the home.

We're told dozens of construction machines, big trucks and trailers are working on the massive teardown... and we got video and photos of the demolition.

TMZ broke the story .. Alex died in November 2020 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, passing away in this very home.

He really poured blood, sweat and tears into the house for decades -- and even drove a pickup truck, specifically, because he was constantly going to hardware stores for home improvement supplies.

Tom Sandoval is a good dude who did a bad thing, but deserves a second chance -- so says another guy well-versed in reality TV romance ... Mr. Tyler Cameron.

We got the 'Bachelorette' alum Tuesday in L.A., and since he's fresh off hanging with Tom on FOX's "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" ... we asked about Sandoval's chances of rekindling with his 'Vanderpump' costar Rachel Leviss.

Selena Gomez is getting the internet meme treatment after her disapproving reaction to Chris Brown at the VMAs, but she quickly clapped back once the award show was over.

In case ya missed it, Selena was on camera Tuesday night while the nominees for Best R&B were read out, and the now-viral moment went down as Chris' name was announced.

Check it out ... she scrunches her face and stops clapping as his collab with Chloe Bailey, "How Does It Feel," was announced. Her smile returned and her clapping continued after they moved on to the next nom, however.

The singer jumped on Instagram after the festivities -- and more importantly, after the clip made the rounds ... vowing to "never be a meme again," adding she'd rather have no reaction at all than show off her genuine feelings.

As you know, Chris infamously assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, back in 2009, and has been accused repeatedly of assaulting women over the years ... so that's more than likely why she made that face in the audience.

What's interesting is ... Selena's not denying her reaction, but it's more about her being pissed about the whole meme thing -- which btw, also included shots of her just looking bored during the award show.

Selena also made the rounds last night for covering her ears during Olivia Rodrigo's performance at the VMAs, but that seemed to be a reaction to the staged act gone wrong ... as onstage explosions drowned out Olivia's vocals.

Don't forget, Selena and Rema took home the Best Afrobeats award at the ceremony for "Calm Down" ... and she thanked her collaborator for believing in her and letting her be a part of the track.

Fittingly, that song title is basically Selena's reaction to all the memes.

The KarJenner matriarch is seemingly dipping her toes once again into the world of fashion, according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

As it turns out, Kris has an active application with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ... in which she's trying to lock up the rights to her own moniker, in all caps -- 'KRIS JENNER.'

The application states Kris wants to brand a ton of different clothing items -- which, as she describes in her filing, run the gamut from sweatshirts and sweatpants to jackets and loungewear ... as well as footwear, socks and even headwear.

Usually, that's an indication that a celeb is getting ready to roll out some new merch or a new line of some sort -- and if that's the case here, Kris could be next.

Funny enough ... Kris actually attempted this in the past through an old trademark application for similar branding back in 2011. She secured the rights to her name back then, but it doesn't seem to have manifested into anything -- and her mark was abandoned in '15.

The 2023 VMAs were all about Taylor Swift, her famous Swifties and, of course, *NSYNC ... and they showed out behind the scenes.

The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ was the center of the music world Tuesday night, with Taylor and a boy band reunion leading the way for MTV's signature award ceremony.

Taylor went nuts for Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick ... and she hung out with Ice Spice and Billy Porter too.

While Taylor was busy taking home awards for her amazing music videos, there was plenty of eye candy off camera ... with Cardi B, Selena Gomez, Bebe Rexha, Emily Ratajkowski and Sexyy Redd all commanding eyes.

Lil Nas X screamed out for attention too ... and there were even some hot celeb couples, like Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes.

Christine no solo ha perdido la mayoría de las batallas legales del divorcio, en realidad ha perdido más que si hubiera llegado a un acuerdo con Kevin. Por ejemplo, en un principio ella quería 248.000 dólares de manutención al mes, a lo que Kevin rechazó contra argumentando que la cantidad razonable era de 63.000 dólares. Pese a ello, el actor se ofreció a pagarle 75.000 dólares al mes, pero Christine rechazó la oferta y se enfrentaron en los tribunales. Al final, el juez dijo que 63.000 dólares era la cantidad adecuada.

Wasser dice que Kevin ya le pagó a Christine $300k en honorarios legales, y supuestamente también tomó $105k de las cuentas de Kevin para alimentar a su equipo legal.

Y luego esto ... si Christine impugna el acuerdo prenupcial y pierde tendrá que devolver más de un millón de dólares a Kevin y también pagar los honorarios de su abogado.

Disso queen Laura Wasser filed her blistering response to Christine's request ... explaining the fees would supposedly be incurred for a mini-trial over one issue in the prenup -- whether her waiver of spousal support is enforceable.

Christine's lawyers say it will take $885k to make their case -- and they want Kevin to foot the bill -- but Wasser fired back that based on hourly rates, Christine's legal team would have to put in 1,106 hours to justify the fee.

Wasser calls Christine's ask "nothing short of outrageous," also noting the judge has already indicated the prenup is enforceable, so the road Christine's going down is a dead end.

Christine has not only lost most of the legal battles in the divorce, she's actually lost more than if she had settled with Kevin. For example, she originally wanted $248k a month in child support, which Kevin rejected and claimed the reasonable amount was $63k. Nevertheless, he offered to pay her $75k a month, but Christine rejected that offer and duked it out in court. In the end, the judge said $63k was the appropriate amount.

Wasser says Kevin's already paid Christine $300k in legal fees, and also allegedly took $105k from Kevin's accounts to feed her legal team.

And there's this ... if Christine challenges the prenup and loses, she'll have to return more than a million bucks Kevin gave her and also pay his lawyer's fees.
