Leonardo DiCaprio is NOT raped by a bear in a scene from his latest movie -- that's the bizarre statement FOX Studios just released.

FOX felt compelled to shut down widespread Internet rumors about a controversial scene in "The Revenant" where Leo is attacked by a bear. For some reason (we haven't seen the movie) someone thought the bear raped the star ... twice.

A spokesperson for FOX told EW, "The bear in the film is a female who attacks [Leo] because she feels he might be threatening her cubs ... there is clearly no rape scene with a bear."

Case closed. No bear rape. It's still unclear why anyone saw the attack as sexual in its nature.

Yes, Leo wants an Oscar, but we're guessing he doesn't want it THAT badly.

5 Seconds of Summer broke some big news to us about the band's future -- and no, we're not only talking about Calum Hood's rumored departure ... we're talking The Wiggles!!

The guys were getting mobbed by fans at LAX on Monday when our photog, Charlie -- who's Australian like 5SOS -- popped a question about the true kings of the Down Under music scene.

Ex-Duke basketball star Chris Duhon was arrested for extreme DUI on Monday morning after cops found him passed out in his car with the engine running ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Cops responded to a call of a "man down" around 4 AM in Eleanor, West Virginia. Officials say officers found 33-year-old Duhon, who is currently an assistant basketball coach at Marshall, fast asleep in his Ford Escape with the keys still in the ignition.

When they woke him up, cops say they noticed Duhon's eyes were red and his speech was slurred. He was taken to the Putnam County Court House after failing three field sobriety tests.

This is where it gets crazy ... cops say Duhon took a breathalyzer test while getting booked and blew a .202 ... more than TWO AND HALF times the legal limit.

Duhon was released on $1,000 bond and has been suspended by the Marshall athletic department for "violating the department's rules and policies."

Mickey Mouse, Elsa and some superheroes are in a Venezuelan standoff (like a Mexican one, but further south) with a company accused of putting on a bootleg live Disney show.

Disney says it fired off a cease and desist letter last year to the producers of “Aventura Congeladas” (translation: “Frozen Adventure”) ... demanding they kill all marketing and promotion of the show because it jacked mouse house characters.

The producers complied at first, but in a new lawsuit Disney says the show eventually started up again under a new name -- "Vacaciones de Aventuras" (translation: "Adventure Holidays") -- and added Marvel heroes like Spider-Man and Captain America.

Of course, Disney owns Marvel, so for them that's no bueno ... hence, the lawsuit.

It also doesn't add up for him since Kim K's IG is full of sexy photos, including her Paper cover and the naked pregnant shot where she's holding her boobs.

Ads for Amazon's new series, “The Man in the High Castle,” came off like Nazi propaganda to some New Yorkers ... so the ads are getting yanked.

Seats on NYC subway cars were wrapped in flags featuring the Nazi eagle and iron cross as well as Japan's rising sun. If you haven't 'High Castle' imagines what the world -- especially the U.S. -- would be like if the Axis powers won World War II.

While the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) told us Monday they received only 1 complaint and wouldn't be taking them down ... it seems Amazon wanted to avoid controversy.

Probably because the show is already getting rave reviews.

Johnny Manziel's party weekend may have cost him his starting job ... with Browns coach Mike Pettine saying he's not ready to commit to Johnny as the #1 guy on Sunday.

Pettine just spoke to the media about the TMZ Sports footage of Manziel partying Friday night at an Austin nightclub with bottles of champagne.

Pettine says the Browns are still investigating the situation -- but admits he's disappointed in Manziel.

"I can't stand here and say it's not disappointing," Pettine said ... noting the whole thing was "frustrating."

Pettine says he'll have more information on the QB situation in Cleveland Wednesday.

Gigi Hadid has become a blackmail target by a group of hackers who claim they're ready to leak private content from her iPhone unless she pays up.

We're told the hackers contacted the newly winged Victoria's Secret Angel and threatened to release photos and videos accessed through her iCloud.

The hackers also threatened to sell the pictures to media outlets unless they got the money they were after.

We're told Gigi has not and will not pay, and she's contacted law enforcement and also hired a private security company to find the culprits. She wants them prosecuted.

Someone threatened to bomb Milla Jovovich's mother and now cops are investigating.

Law enforcement tells TMZ, Mama Jovovich started getting annoying phone calls earlier this year ... from a man demanding to speak with Milla. Milla's mom said the calls usually happened at night, and sometimes twice a day, but the situation turned serious when he threatened to bomb her home.

To make things worse, the caller claims to be involved in a gang. According to a search warrant obtained by TMZ ... Milla's mom never clued her in about the calls.

Charlie Sheen's porn star partners have come forward to defend themselves against claims they were the ones who gave the actor HIV.

Jayme Langford and Jana Jordan -- who Sheen dubbed his "angels" back in 2013 -- say they're both HIV negative. They say they've been tested repeatedly and are free of the virus. Jordan fears all the talk that Charlie got HIV from them is going to ruin her career in porn.

Sheen's Goddess, whose porn name is Georgia Jones, says she's also HIV negative. In fact, we're told she gets tested every 14 days and hasn't been with Charlie in more than 2 years.

Elizabeth Bentley, who's also been with Charlie, tells us she's been tested 12 times since their April fling -- and again she did not contract the virus.

All of the women are upset that the finger is being pointed at porn stars, when they are tested more than just about anyone who is sexually active.

Passengers on the Mad Decent Boat Party had their trip altered when a woman jumped overboard last week -- and now many of them say the cruise company's ripping them off.

Most of the EDM lovers paid on average $1,000 for a ticket, but Norwegian Cruise Line and festival organizers promised refunds. Due to the tragedy, several DJ sets were nixed ... as well as the offshore excursion planned for Mexico. Only problem is ... that refund was a measly $57.47 according to several pissed off passengers.

Festival and cruise reps tells us it's simple math: $57.47 is the cost of the cancelled excursion plus port taxes. Everything else is nonrefundable. Some angry guests have taken to social media to demand way more dough ... despite the fact they still got a 4 day vacation at sea.

Thomas Beatie says he's been keeping a shocking secret ... not that he's a man who gave birth, but that his ex-wife allegedly had been locking their kid in a cage.

Phoenix cops visited the home of Beatie's ex in late September and contacted child services after their 5-year-old son told an employee at his school when he was bad, his mom would put him in a dirty cage ... this according to the police report.

Cops say Beatie's ex-wife told them she'd never do anything like that and the couple's 2 other kids backed her up.

Thomas says the child who made the claim never backed down ... nevertheless, investigators closed the case for now due to a lack of evidence.

Rob Lowe was quick to criticize after the Paris shootings, but he has shut down since scoffing at the Parisian decision to open its boarders to refugees.

Lowe pounced on social media after the attacks, saying "Oh, NOW France closes its borders. #Hollande." The reference is when the President of France ordered all borders to be closed after the shooting so the terrorists could not escape.

The floodgates opened, with people slamming the actor as "a disgusting human being." One person said, "Those refugees were fleeing their home countries to save their lives."

During a Big & Rich show in Charlotte Wednesday night, the duo brought a couple of soldiers up in honor of Veterans Day, and one of 'em happened to be young and good looking -- prompting John to say, "This is like the man version of Justin Bieber. If Justin actually did s*** for people."
