Chris Martin tore a group of autograph hounds a new one for being way too aggressive in trying to get him to scribble on their crap ... a trend that's becoming more common.

The Coldplay frontman was fuming Monday night after a charity performance he did at the Palladium in L.A. for a prison reform org. He certainly wasn't in the mood for a stop-and-sign after what seemed to be a relatively bumpy set ... where he forgot his lyrics.

That didn't stop the hustlers outside from demanding his attention, though.

Fast-forward to the start of this clip here, which shows Chris going off on the autograph seekers, telling them to treat him with some decency instead of shouting at him from afar.

CM acknowledges he just had a "s****y" gig, and didn't appreciate the reception he received upon walking out. One of the photogs tries to explain why they might've been so assertive, but Chris wasn't having it ... and one of the guys seemed to be firmly in his corner.

Funny enough, Chris ended up doing what celebs often do ... signing the merch and storming away, a la Larry David -- who recently went through something very similar.

Kellyanne Conway is here with a scorching hot take on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day ... she says MLK would take a hard stance against Donald Trump's impeachment.

Trump's aide was talking to reporters Monday in D.C. when she invoked Dr. King's name to illustrate her anger about the impeachment trial, which starts Tuesday in the Senate.

Kellyanne says the proceedings are tearing our country apart, and that's exactly the kind of divisiveness MLK Jr. opposed.

It seems a thin and shallow viewpoint ... considering the fact MLK fought and marched for the Civil Rights movement, even though it divided the country.

She added, Dr. King would not be down with the impeachment trial because he didn't envision having "Americans dragged through a process where the president is not going to be removed from office, is not being charged with bribery, extortion, high crimes or misdemeanors.”

Bottom line, for Kellyanne anyway, is Trump supports MLK's vision of unity -- therefore, if you love King ... you shouldn't support Trump's impeachment trial.

Like we said, hot take on ANY day, but especially on the man's holiday.

Blueface has no sympathy for Tekashi 6ix9ine's security woes -- and as for his old hired muscle giving him the cold shoulder ... BF supports it, cause a job's not worth dying over.

We got the rapper leaving Bootsy Bellows in L.A. this weekend, and he had some pretty blunt thoughts on Tekashi's old security guards disavowing him and any type of money he might be willing to offer to bring them back onto his payroll for protection.

According to Blueface, it'd be an effective death wish working for 6ix9ine at this point -- ya know, cause of all the gang snitching and whatnot. He acknowledges Tekashi's talented, but he says no amount of talent is worth putting your life on the line to shield.

He's also got something to say about whether Tekashi can make a comeback or not. Watch ... doesn't sound like Blueface is all that optimistic about the guy's prospects.

A family fell through the ice of a frozen lake in Big Bear this weekend, and the rescue footage is pretty wild.

The scary moment happened Saturday on Big Bear Lake, where a throng of ambulances, fire trucks and police cruisers blocked off traffic to save a family of 3 that had somehow made their way onto the frozen surface ... and fell in after the ice gave way.

We're told it appeared the group -- which we're told comprised of a mother, a father and their young daughter -- had apparently wandered out there despite signs clearly saying to stay off the ice. It's unclear how long they were immersed in the freezing water.

Luckily, they were all pulled to safety -- but the way it happened is nothing short of dramatic. Ropes with small flotation devices were tossed across until each one could catch it and be dragged to shore. The child was first, the mother 2nd and eventually the man.

Dr. Oz is firing back at Mark Wahlberg's cardiac arrest crack -- and as it turns out, the doc's actually got some jokes of his own ... plus nifty visual aides.

DO took to Instagram Saturday to respond to Mark's own video from a few days ago, where he accepted Oz's no-breakfast/one-legged push-up challenge and then joked the guy would probably need a defibrillator by the time Marky Mark was done with him in the gym.

Well, Dr. Oz seems to have one-upped him -- rocking real scrubs and showing off an actual defibrillator in what looks to be a real hospital ... not to mention giving a demonstration.

Oz even takes some shots at MW, saying he's probably used a fake defibrillator in front of the camera -- but in the real world, only one of 'em knows how to use it ... and it ain't Mark. He goes on to call out Mark's "full stomach" and show muscles ... doubting they work as advertised. It's funny, Dr. Oz is confident Mark will be the one passing out.

This is just the latest sling in what's become the weirdest/most awesome celeb feud of the new year. That said, we're ready to see some action here ... 'cause talk is cheap.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are a lot more like the rest of us today -- ditching their Royal titles and are pivoting toward becoming commoners ... all with the Queen's blessing.

Buckingham Palace announced a path forward Saturday for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the wake of "Megxit." They say as part of the new agreement reached between all parties, Meg and Harry will no longer formally rep Queen Elizabeth publicly ... and they will also not go by His or Her Highness, as they're no longer working members of the Royal Family.

Another thing they're losing ... public funds and military appointments. All that comes with being a full-time Royal, and since they're out -- all the perks are out too.

The palace says they'll maintain the private charities and causes they support -- and while they're no longer doing anything on behalf of the Queen ... they've agreed to uphold the values of Her Majesty.

Odell Beckham Jr. might've caught a big break in his butt-slapping case down in New Orleans -- 'cause the cop whose cheeks got smacked is pivoting away from pursing it.

According to NOLA.com and ESPN, the Superdome police officer who was on the receiving end of OBJ's ass slap last week is apparently not interested in pressing charges -- despite reportedly wanting to retaliate by punching Odell in the kisser, but refraining.

Of course, an arrest warrant on a simple battery charge had been issued for Odell. Now, NOLA.come reports that same officer has done a 180 ... reportedly having signed an affidavit stating he doesn't wish to press charges. It's unclear what changed his mind.

Either way, it could prove to be a major assist for Odell ... who's less likely to face prosecution if the primary alleged victim isn't cooperating. NOPD could even rescind their warrant at this point if they wanted to ... but all that remains to be seen for now.

Odell, meanwhile, has been laying low. Probably a good thing after sticking out like a sore thumb on Monday ... handing out cash to a ton of the LSU players on the sideline and raging in the locker room with them after. Probably best to let things cool off 😅.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's going to be more at risk than ever when he's released from prison -- not just because he'll be a snitch on the streets -- but because his muscle's bailed on him.

Several of the rapper's former bodyguards have parted ways with him for various reasons, but one thing they all have in common is that no amount of money he could pay would bring them back ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ.

We're told the ex-members of 6ix9ine's security team feel he unnecessarily put them in harm's way BEFORE he went to prison ... so the fact he's a flat-out rat now would make things worse.

Quavo went on the warpath inside a Paris club, unleashing his anger -- and a few punches -- on staffers and a famous dancer with ties to Beyonce.

The Migos rapper showed up to Palais Maillot nightclub Thursday for an after-party. The event was a celebration for Offset's Paris Fashion Week show ... but a witness tells us Quavo arrived after Offset and Cardi had already left.

We're told security working the party didn't realize Quavo was Quavo, and stopped him at the entrance. The witness says that's when one of the dancers from Les Twins -- who toured with Beyonce -- stepped in and told security to let Qua inside.

Once inside, Quavo was clearly pissed and struck a staff member. You can see in the video we got, he's so angry he even punches the Twins dancer who was trying to help him!!

Cops were not called to the club ... and Quavo didn't stay much longer.

As for Offset, his fashion show went off without a hitch ... as Cardi B's outfit was one of the most talked about from all the Fashion Week events.

Walmart's learning a valuable lesson about making Paul Walker jokes on Twitter, even if said joke is ripped from a funny TV show.

Here's what went down -- a Twitter user shared a story about Walmart selling Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with strawberry and cream-flavored icing ... and added a funny gif of a car wildly racing through traffic with the caption, "*me racin to the nearest Wally World*."

Innocent enough ... however, the person behind Walmart's Twitter account Thursday decided to take things up a notch and responded to the gif by saying, "Hey, Paul Walker. Click it, or ticket."

More trouble for Odell Beckham ... a warrant for his arrest has been issued by a judge after the NFL star slapped a security officer in the ass during the LSU locker room celebration.

"We can confirm a warrant has been issued on a charge of simple battery," a spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports.

And, get this ... authorities initially sought to charge Beckham with misdemeanor sexual battery, according to Nola.com ... but a judge wouldn't approve it. Instead, the judge agreed the simple battery charge was more appropriate.

Footage of the incident went viral ... Beckham was celebrating with the LSU football team after they won the National Championship at the Superdome on Monday night when the incident went down.

A guard -- who TMZ Sports has confirmed is part of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome security team -- appeared to be policing players over cigar smoking in the locker room when Odell reached back and slapped the guy HARD right on his ass.

If convicted, 27-year-old Beckham faces up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Elizabeth Warren didn't just snub Bernie Sanders' handshake after the Democratic debate ... she got in his face and accused him of calling her a liar on national TV.

CNN released the audio of the testy exchange, which helps explain why Warren rebuffed Bernie's extended hand -- she was pissed off!

Warren storms past Joe Biden to walk up to Sanders and says, "I think you called me a liar on national TV" ... to which he replied, "What?"

After she repeats herself, Bernie says, "Let's not do it right now. You want to have that discussion, we'll have that discussion."

The woman who infamously went on a racist and hateful rant outside a CVS store in L.A. will NOT face any criminal charges ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Heather Lynn Patton is off the hook nearly 4 months after she went on a hateful tirade threatening to kill black people ... and it was all caught on video.

After the LAPD opened an investigation, it was brought to the L.A. County D.A.'s Office for charge consideration but it was then kicked down to the City Attorney's Office.

We're told the City Attorney evaluated the criminal threats but ultimately they declined to prosecute her. As we reported ... the disgraced Hollywood costume designer dropped n-bombs and viciously screamed she wanted to kill black people.

Dallas Cowboys legend Drew Pearson learned Wednesday he was snubbed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame yet again ... and his reaction to the news will break your heart into pieces.

Drew -- Roger Staubach's favorite target in the 1970s -- had as good a chance as ever of being elected into the Hall this year given its expanded class of 20 TOTAL inductees.

But, when the names were called over a two-hour period and Pearson -- who held a party for the announcements -- didn't make the list ... it was devastating.

Drew rubbed his forehead and fought back tears ... and it was super emotional.

Later, after the news had really sunk in ... a frustrated Drew told his family and friends, "They broke my heart. They broke my heart and they did it like this! They strung it out like this!"

Pearson had every right to be upset ... he's one of the best receivers EVER -- earning three All-Pro awards and winning a Super Bowl with the Cowboys in 1978.

He's most famous for catching what is widely known as the NFL's first-ever successful "Hail Mary" in a playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings in 1975.
