Floyd Mayweather keeps racking up the accolades, this time getting his very own day in a major American city ... that doesn't seem to have anything to do with Floyd.

It went down back on January 17 when Floyd was honored in Oklahoma City, where the brass in town officially declared the date Floyd Mayweather Day.

There were festivities aplenty ... including a dinner, followed by a meet-and-greet hosted by industry mover and shaker Karen Civil.

This was no joke people, Floyd received official documents from the state -- making the whole thing as official as a referee with a whistle.

All of this is great, but what we can't figure out is WHY OKLAHOMA CITY!!??? We couldn't find any connection between Money and OKC ... and it's got us pretty bewildered.

This has gotta hurt Kevin Durant a little ... just a little.

7:45 AM PT -- Cops say the suspect's first name is Marvin, and ... shocker ... he was boozing at the club. We're told 4 people in the club, aside from Steve, were injured and they want to press charges. He also did $400 in damages ... smashing the mic, dishes and glasses.

One of the victims is a security guard who says he got punched in the face before Marvin bolted in a car.

Comic Steve Brown probably wishes he just got heckled Sunday night at a comedy club, because a disgruntled "fan" seemed gunning to kill him.

Steve was doing a set at the Comedy House in Columbia, South Carolina when a guy in the audience jumped onstage and just went insane, first trying to viciously strike Steve with the mic stand and then a stool.

Steve ducked out of the way and, a good 30 seconds into the attack, a few people at the club had the presence of mind to subdue the guy, who was taken outside but then came back.

The Richland County Sheriff's Dept. responded to the club, and has opened an investigation. So far, no arrests.

Steve escaped unharmed, but he's blasting the club for lack of security.

Megyn Kelly lashed out at Jane Fonda Monday, essentially calling her a traitor who has no business lecturing her, or anyone else, on what qualifies as offensive.

Kelly was reacting to Fonda's blistering criticism of her for asking about Fonda's plastic surgery on one of Kelly's earlier shows. Fonda felt it was inappropriate and silly.

Kelly just exploded with her own criticism, saying Jane told just about anyone who would listen that she had work done.

And then Megyn called Jane out for her comments during the Vietnam war, which earned her the nickname, "Hanoi Jane."

Morgan Freeman awkwardly called someone out during his Lifetime Achievement award speech at the SAG Awards Sunday ... but the person's identity remains a mystery.

Freeman was just about to launch into his acceptance speech when he stopped and zeroed in on someone in the front row, who appeared to be talking and distracting him.

The legendary actor didn't let it go -- if anything, he dragged it out by saying ... "Hey ... I'm talking to you. Yeah, hey." He finally finished with ... "Okay, well you just stand out to me. That's all" before continuing with the rest of his speech.

Vladimir Putin is not losing his religion -- he IS getting half naked for it though ... in public.

The Russian President took off a perfectly warm sheepskin coat and boots to take a dip in an icy lake about 250 miles north of Moscow. He wasn't alone. Putin was commemorating the baptism of Jesus in Orthodox Christian tradition ... and people do it all over Russia every year.

This was the first time Putin publicly marked the Epiphany.

Roger Stone has one good reason for floating the idea of Hulk Hogan running for a U.S. Senate seat -- and that reason's sitting in the Oval Office right now.

We got President Trump's former adviser Thursday in NYC and got his reaction to Hulk telling us he's not interested, for now, in a political career -- and he's urging the former wrestler to reconsider.

Roger points out there are plenty of role models to prove there's a place for the Hulkster in D.C. -- Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump and Jesse Ventura.

As for past scandals ... Stone said, history proves Hulk can overcome it.

Kim Kardashian went straight for Lamar Odom's jugular after he dissed Khloe Kardashian ... making fun of him for visiting brothels.

Kim replied to a tweet Thursday in which Lamar was quoted from his interview on BET's "Mancave" that read ... "I knew my marriage to Khloe was over 'when she was on her second or third NBA player.'"

Safe to say, Kim wasn't having it ... she responded ... "Or second or third brothel."

Lamar has been known to visit brothels in the past, most famously when he OD'd at one in Nevada a few years back. Khloe has dated NBA star James Harden, and is currently preggo with Tristan Thompson's kid.

No love lost here, apparently.

NBA players need to stop throwing punches and start shaking hands ... so says the guy who knows firsthand what can happen when you get in a fight on the court.

TMZ Sports spoke with L.A. Clippers star Danilo Gallinari ... who broke his hand throwing a punch in an exhibition in Italy this past off-season. He was also present when the Clips got in a scuffle with the Rockets earlier this week.

D.G. says he's vowed to stop the violence ever since the summer incident ... and says the rest of the NBA should follow his lead if they know what's best for 'em.

Dave was out with his pal, John Mayer, Wednesday night -- hitting Craig's and Delilah in WeHo -- when we asked him about Olivia calling him "tone deaf" for his jokes about Louis C.K. and sexual harassment. If you missed it ... Dave said Louis' alleged victims had a "brittle spirit," among other things.

The comedian had a very direct and positive response for Olivia.

Despite the criticism over his latest Netflix stand-up specials, Dave was still swarmed by fans and paps at the end of the night. As he said, "I'm very famous."

Fun Fact: John, who toured with Dave, didn't say anything about Olivia's criticism -- but happens to have a pretty cool song about Olivia. Wilde though, not Munn.

NY Giants safety Landon Collins wants to help the Alabama sorority girl at the center of a racist video scandal, telling TMZ Sports ... he'd even take her to dinner to educate her.

The woman Collins is talking about is Harley Barber -- who posted 2 disgusting video rants in which she spewed the n-word multiple times. To make it worse, she mocked Martin Luther King Jr. Day too.

Barber has since been expelled from the University of Alabama and kicked out of her sorority, Alpha Phi, but Collins tells us ... he sees this as an opportunity to educate and inform her.

This issue hits close to home for Landon since he attended 'Bama and played football there, and sent a message to his alma mater earlier Wednesday.

Tom Cruise should really consider getting a stunt double, 'cause he screwed up another jump on the set of "Mission: Impossible 6" ... and might've injured himself again.

Filming resumed in London this week, and in this clip you see Cruise attempt to leap onto the ledge of a window ... but he slips on something before he gets out.

A cameraman on the scene says the actor was later seen using crutches, but there are no pics and we haven't confirmed.

It's strange -- Tom appeared to have nailed this exact scene last week, unclear why he did it again. As we reported ... he's fresh off a broken ankle from a failed jump on the set last year.

Ann Curry makes it clear ... the conduct that got Matt Lauer fired from anchoring "Today" was no surprise to her ... because she says that was the culture at NBC.

Curry appeared on "CBS This Morning" Wednesday to talk about her experiences with Lauer and others. She clearly knew the anchors were going to zero in on her former co-host yet seemed reluctant to open up ... though she did.

Buzz Aldrin went ballistic on Delta Airlines after missing his flight.

We got the second man to step foot on the moon Tuesday at LAX, and Buzz was furious that the plane had pulled away from the gate. He blamed it on a Delta employee, but the agents were unmoved.

The Delta employees offered Buzz the next flight, which got him so angry he rose from his wheelchair in a rage.

We don't know if the agents were aware they were messin' with an astronaut, but he was one step short of pulling a Jackie Gleason ... To the Moon, Alice.

James Franco's art and life are getting uncomfortably close ... 'cause the Time's Up movement is breathing down his neck on Sunset Blvd.

A new billboard recently went up in Hollywood for Franco's movie, "The Disaster Artist" -- which sits just in front of a Time's Up billboard no more than 100 yards away.

Unclear which one went up first -- it's awards season, though ... so movie promotions are popping up all over L.A. Either way, it's awkward placement.

As we reported ... Franco's been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 5 women. The accusations initially surfaced during the Golden Globes where the actor rocked a Time's Up pin.

He's now avoiding public events, such as last weekend's Critics' Choice Awards ... where he won for best actor.

Seal is under criminal investigation for sexual battery, just one week after he publicly encouraged sexual abuse victims to come forward ... but the singer denies any wrongdoing.

Actress Tracey Birdsall tells us she and Seal were neighbors in Los Angeles in the fall of 2016. She says the two developed a close friendship -- and only that -- until an incident at Seal's home. Tracey says she was in Seal's kitchen to retrieve a salad spinner she'd lent him when all of a sudden, he lunged at her.

Tracey tells us Seal forced himself on her, attempting to kiss her. She says she shouted, "What are you doing?!" and the singer replied, "I'm kissing you!"

Birdsall claims Seal then began to belittle her for what she was wearing (a tank top and shorts) -- insinuating she was asking for it -- and he began to grope her breasts. She says she demanded he stop.

Tracey tells us Seal then invited her to sit on the couch next to him ... she says she was in shock and complied. Birdsall claims Seal once again began to make fun of what she was wearing and groped her again. Tracey says she left shortly after that and did not have contact with Seal again.

Birdsall says it wasn't until she saw Seal's comments about Oprah and Harvey Weinstein -- where he encouraged women to share their own stories of sexual misconduct -- that she decided to report it to the cops.

A source with the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. confirms a report was taken Saturday for sexual battery ... the incident is under investigation.

HLN anchor Ashleigh Banfield skewered the woman who publicly attacked Aziz Ansari, saying that she has sullied the #MeToo movement and her remedy was simply to get up and leave his apartment.

Ashleigh called the anonymous accuser's attack "appalling," mocking her comment that the date was the worst night of her life. The anchor said her sexual encounter with Aziz was not sexual assault or harassment ... it was simply an unpleasant date.
