Sources tell TMZ it was a full house in the elevator, as the designer was held prisoner with her assistant, her publicist, her security, the center's CMO, and the head of Versace PR for 10-15 minutes -- and we've got the footage of them finally being freed.

As you can see, the elevator clearly has a mind of its own, refusing to cooperate. But, security on the other side steps in to save the day, prying those stubborn doors open with their bare hands ... and Versace eventually emerges, looking somewhat dazed and confused.

The rest of DV's team trickled out behind ... and we're told everyone survived the whole situation unscathed. Fashion emergency averted!

The fire department arrived on the scene to double-check everything shortly after ... and it looks like there are no major lingering issues over the elevator incident.

Of course, the show must go on ... and Versace went on to be named the Org's Global Ambassador and also donated $50,000 to the center.

Donatella even turned the situation into a charming anecdote during her speech after being introduced by Wade, saying: "I feel so honored to be here tonight. It's so emotional for me -- but also because I was stuck in the elevator. I thought I was never going to make it to this roof, but I did!"

India -- the ex-"Celebrity Big Brother" contestant who's a transgender woman -- spoke to Byline TV regarding the issue ... claiming she's gotten Northumbria Police involved, as she says J.K. has consistently referred to her as a man despite her legal status as a woman.

She says J.K.'s alleged repeated misgendering constitutes a crime in the U.K. -- suggesting it violates the Equalities Act and Gender Recognition Act. India also hints this could possibly qualify as a hate crime ... but at the very least, thinks it's a malicious communications case.

Variety reports that Northumbria Police are on standby, ready to have a chat with the author about this whole ordeal ... but no word on whether J.K.'s gonna play ball.

Meanwhile, J.K.'s already fired back ... saying she's already consulted a lawyer who not only reckons she has a solid case against IW for defamation, but says India constantly targeting J.K. online might qualify as harassment -- so she's mulling legal action of her own.

J.K. adds, "Aware as I am that it's an offense to lie to law enforcement, I'll simply have to explain to the police that, in my view, India is a classic example of the male narcissist who lives in a state of perpetual rage that he can't compel women to take him at his own valuation."

Of course, Rowling's faced a ton of backlash for her controversial remarks about transgender folks. She's been called out as a "TERF" (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) and labeled a bigot by many -- some of the 'HP' cast have even distanced themselves from her.

Several participants who collaborated with JVN tell TMZ ... Jonathan was never unprofessional or rude while shooting, at least from what they saw. Cory Waldrop, who appeared in 'QE's first season, wasn't aware of the recent allegations -- but recalls Jonathan being the same on- and off-camera.

Cory says he remembers Jonathan going out of his way to treat him like the star of the show ... letting him cut production's food truck line during taping.

William Mahnken -- who appeared in season 2's second episode -- has expressed a similar sentiment. He tells TMZ ...he had no issues with Jonathan during production for his episode, and adds he never saw the hair stylist do anything negative on set.

In fact, William remembers having several fond memories with the reality TV star.

Apparently, Jonathan even promised to take William to the Emmys if his mother couldn't make it.

Michael Richard II, of season 7 fame, says Jonathan was "always bright and nice" while making "Queer Eye." As for the alleged tension between JVN and his costars -- Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Bobby Berk -- Michael says he didn't witness any bad blood between the Fab Five.

He tells us ... "He seemed well-liked by everybody."

Ryan Dyer -- who appeared in a season 5 episode -- only filmed with Jonathan for one day, but says he had a great experience with the 36-year-old.

Now, Ryan does say he recalls Jonathan wanting "all the attention" ... but he doesn't remember it being an issue with the cast and crew.

Of course, multiple anonymous 'Queer Eye' staffers described a much different experience, as they told Rolling Stone Jonathan was a rage-filled co-worker with little empathy for those around him.

24-year-old Samantha Hudson -- who recently appeared in a new ad for Doritos out in Spain -- was put on blast this week by right-leaning X users amid her first promotional plug for the chip brand ... calling out an alleged social media post where she reportedly declared a desire to do inappropriate things to a 12-year-old girl when she was 15.

Of course ... many also just slammed the fact Doritos had partnered with a trans woman.

Samantha wrote the inappropriate post in 2015 -- which has seemingly been deleted from her account ... but which got screen-grabbed and shared online. SH's original upload for Doritos has also been wiped from her Instagram account -- which has lost nearly 30,000 followers in the wake of the controversy ... this after Doritos axed their deal.

Once the digital spot ran and went viral ... the hashtag #BoycottDoritos made the rounds online. In the aftermath, Doritos Spain caved ... nixing their partnership with Samantha and saying they simply weren't aware of her old tweets when they first brought her on.

They added ... "We strongly condemn words or actions that promote violence or sexism of any kind."

Samantha reportedly apologized for the resurfaced posts after becoming famous ... saying she doesn't remember writing "such barbarities" almost 10 years ago. However -- she did reportedly acknowledge that she previously "dedicated [her]self to saying nonsense" in the name of dark humor.

If this whole saga sounds familiar ... that's because something very similar happened here in the States last year. Remember, Anheuser Busch -- which manufactures Bud Light -- faced a boycott fiasco after naming transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney as an ambassador.

While that whole thing dragged on for quite a while -- with AB taking a major financial hit after their customers dug their heels in on the boycott -- this situation resolved quickly.

According to the report, Jonathan is painted as a two-faced diva who gives off a warm, rosy persona in public ... but is a total jerk to the people he works with on the show.

Among the words people on the set used to describe him -- "monster," "nightmare" and "demeaning."

The article also cites 3 people who label Jonathan as emotionally abusive with rage issues ... and a total of 7 people claimed he's known to lash out at crew members and others who worked with them.

JVN's supposed poor behavior and unprofessionalism allegedly contributed to a growing rift and tension between the 5 "Queer Eye" hosts ... to the point where the others were hesitant to film scenes with Jonathan.

Some around the show claim a meeting with Netflix execs did little to change Jonathan's behavior or treatment of the crew ... leaving folks on the show feeling like there was no accountability.

One of the hosts, Bobby Berk, has since left the show, though it's unclear if Jonathan had anything to do with his decision.

DJ Akademiks is accusing Meek Mill of being a snitch after cops allegedly showed up to his house -- and if he wants to fight the rapper ... they now have the opportunity to do so!

There's a lucrative 7-figure offer on the table to sweeten the deal between these 2 foes ... and it comes courtesy of Celebrity Boxing czar Damon Feldman.

He tells TMZ Hip Hop ... he's got a cool $1 million purse locked and loaded for Ak and Meek -- in addition to other amenities, if they wanna take him up on this. Damon also says he has a venue in Atlanta booked for May 18, adamant he wants both guys to give it their best.

Meek already has a boxing trainer in his corner, but Damon says he's willing to provide Akademiks with one of his top guys -- if he's inclined to train ahead of the fight.

Ak told Adin Ross this week that he considers Meek a straight-up bully -- while going on to call him cowardly, accusing him of hiding behind his goons ... and he seems eager to take him with his fists.

They've had beef for years, of course, but the latest episode spilled into the e-streets over this wild Diddy lawsuit filed this week by his ex-producer ... who floated salacious claims.

Meek took the bait and went down a wild social media rabbit hole ... responding to Ak but all the posts have since run their course with fans.

Meek Mill is now roped into the latest Diddy lawsuit drama -- quite salaciously and carelessly, we might add -- and yet, he's taking the bait and publicly responding with a rant about being straight as an arrow.

The Philly rapper's been on a wild tweet storm since Wednesday in response to a number of users who were posting memes and jokes after Meek was obliquely referenced in Rodney Jones' suit against Diddy. The docs don't name Meek, but very clearly allude to him.

The lawsuit includes a footnote addressing a redacted name, and it describes the identity of that person as "a Philadelphia Rapper who dated Nicki Minaj."

Long story short ... Rodney alleges Diddy once told him he'd slept with big-time male celebs in the music biz, including Meek.

Folks online had a field day with this once the docs were published, and Meek ended up going on the attack ... firing off several different tweets to deny he's gay, or that he was involved in any romantic way with Diddy -- as it was recklessly suggested in the wild legal claim.

We'll let you read Meek's tweets for yourself -- but let's just say ... he goes a little over the top here to hit the point home that he's not into dudes, and to some, it comes across as a bit homophobic.

Meek uses some fairly graphic and sexual terms to describe how much he's into women -- and while he might think he's setting the record straight, some are taking his fervent tweetstorm the opposite way.

He also goes after DJ Akademiks here, who's the one who highlighted Meek was alluded to in the suit -- and the 2 of them have been going back and forth nonstop since yesterday.

In any case, it's all very icky, which is why it's strange that Meek is so publicly leaning into it.

Other famous people have also been referenced in Rodney's lawsuit -- who were not named -- and they've kept quiet, refusing to give the allegations any oxygen.

Of course, Diddy himself has utterly denied any and all of Rodney's claims -- and some of them, as we've pointed out, are already starting to fall apart at the seams.

Now if you're wondering why Billy would part ways with such an ideal investment ... he actually shared back in August he was hurting financially, as a result of the SAG strike, and telegraphed this sort of move might happen down the line.

At the time, he said both a movie and a TV show he was working on got scrapped due to the protests ... which lasted a whopping 118 days.

There's also this ... BP and his ex-husband Adam Smith announced their split last year -- and they wouldn't be the first celebrity couple to sell their home amid a division of assets.
