Laila Ali is thanking the fans for the love and support after her father was hospitalized this week ... but did not provide any health updates.

"Thank for all the love and well wishes. I feel your love and appreciate it," Laila posted on Facebook.

She also posted a pic of Muhammad Ali with her daughter, Sydney, and added, "I love this photo of my father and my daughter Sydney when she was a baby!"

Amber Heard has gone after a comic who claimed she was blackmailing Johnny Depp with false spousal abuse allegations, and in her new lawsuit she makes even more allegations against her estranged husband.

Amber claims Doug Stanhope defamed her when he wrote an article published in The Wrap claiming Heard threatened to lie about Johnny in order to squeeze money out of the actor.

She says in her lawsuit Stanhope's statements were not only false but caused her tremendous harm.

She goes on to attack her estranged husband, saying, "Depp has hit and kicked [me] on numerous occasions, has thrown objects at [me], at one point suffocated [me] to the point where [I] feared for [my] life."

She also says Depp is "an alcoholic and drug addict" and says his substance abuse has increased dramatically.

Ex-NBA star Stephen Jackson says he called out a white guy in his gym -- to his face -- after he heard the man compare Serena Williams to a gorilla.

Jackson says he heard the man talking about the gorilla that got shot in Cincinnati -- when the white guy quipped, "They shot Serena? Serena got shot?"

Jackson says he debated whether or not to let it slide ... but ultimately opted for a confrontation.

"I straight up told old boy, 'I heard you and it's wrong.'"

Andrew Kornfeld, the man who called 911 when Prince died, firmly believes he could have saved the singer with the backpack full of opioids he had at Paisley Park that morning.

The ME's report revelation that Prince died from a self-administered dose of Fentanyl ... seems to acquit Kornfeld and his father, Dr. Howard Kornfeld, of any involvement in the death. Andrew was delivering an opioid called Buprenorphine to treat Prince's addiction to Percocet. He insists Prince never took the drug.

Now Kornfeld is singing the praises of the synthetic opiate, saying it should be more accessible to addiction patients everywhere. Kornfeld tells CNN, he believes part of Prince's problem was that Buprenorphine is very difficult to get in Minnesota.

Phillip Phillips is deep in the doghouse with "American Idol" ... which says he owes them a ton of cash, and he's been holding out on them for years.

19 Entertainment, which produces 'Idol,' also manages Phillips and the other winners. According to the suit filed against Phillips ... he's not paying up for 19's managerial services. The company says he's withholding about a million bucks -- and they want it now.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, 19 says the 2012 'Idol' champ stopped paying management fees when he filed a 2015 complaint with the Labor Commission -- begging out of his contract, claiming it violated California law.

That dispute hasn't been settled -- it was delayed when 19 filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. The company thinks Phillips should pay up the money now because it still has a valid contract with him until a court says otherwise.

Prince died from an opioid overdose ... it's now official from the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, and the drug is even more powerful than Percocet.

The M.E. performed toxicology tests on the singer and determined the singer died of an accidental overdose of Fentanyl -- a powerful synthetic opiate that is more potent than morphine ... often used for cancer patients to deal with severe pain.

Fentanyl is often used to treat people who have developed a tolerance to less powerful opiates such as Percocet and morphine.

And this is important ... there were several reports Prince had either AIDS or HIV, but the report says there were no "other significant conditions" that led to his death ... clearly refuting the stories.

According to the report ... Prince was discovered fully dressed ... wearing a black cap, black shirt, gray undershirt, black pants, black boxer briefs and black socks.

Also interesting ... Prince weighed a petite 112 lbs and stood 5'3" at the time of his death.

We broke numerous stories -- Prince was addicted to Percocet. As we first reported, Prince's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing when the singer almost died after ODing on Percocet 6 days before he was found dead in an elevator.

Prince had made at least 4 trips to a local drugstore in the week preceding his death ... to fill prescriptions.

His addiction was so bad his people called a rehab doctor in California to get him emergency help. The doctor's son flew out to Minnesota and was in the Paisley Park compound -- with a backpack filled with synthetic opioids -- when the 57-year-old singer was found dead. The doctor's son, who is not himself a doctor, denies giving Prince any of the pills.

Muhammad Ali has been hospitalized for a respiratory issue ... and he's currently in fair condition, this according to the boxer's spokesperson.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have pulled the plug on their relationship ... TMZ has confirmed.

The couple ended things after 15 months of blissful dating. They made their public debut at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. No specific reason for the split yet, but we're told there was no huge drama ... such as cheating.

The news comes almost two weeks after Calvin was injured in a car wreck and forced to cancel several shows.

Another huge blow to the Baylor football program -- a top high school QB has decommitted from the school ... after head coach Art Briles got the chop.

Kellen Mond -- a top rated duel threat QB from Florida -- had previously committed to attend Baylor after his senior season in 2017.

But moments ago, he announced that the deal is off ... saying, "After further discussion with my family, I have made the decision to decommit from Baylor University."

"When I committed last summer, the primary basis was due to having the leadership of Art Briles and Kendall Briles as a great football foundation."

"Although this decision has been difficult, I would like to sincerely thank the TREMENDOUS Baylor fans and community for their support during this recruitment process."

Terror erupted moments after that 3-year-old boy fell in Harambe the gorilla's enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo ... and we just got the 911 call.

In the emergency call -- released by cops -- you can hear Michelle Gregg's panicked conversation with dispatch ... screaming that her son had just fallen into the gorilla pen.

Michelle tells her son to "be calm," as she exclaims, "He's dragging my son. I can't watch this."

As we previously reported ... cops are reviewing the incident to see if any fault lies with the boy's parents.

12:10 PM PST -- Law enforcement just confirmed the incident was a murder-suicide. There are no other victims or suspects.

Someone has opened fire on campus at UCLA ... and police are scrambling to find the suspect or suspects.

The entire campus is on lockdown right now, and firefighters are on scene to treat victims. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 2 people have been killed, both male and in their 40s. We're also told one operating theory is this was a murder-suicide ... but police are still searching the campus as they're getting flooded with reports of other suspects.

The shooting reportedly happened near Boelter Hall -- and our sources say police have snipers in place on campus, and on police choppers, as the search continues for the shooter or shooters.

Police are trying to evacuate anyone outside of classes ... while students in classrooms are barricading themselves and laying on the ground with the lights off.

Forget the Olympics, the Zika virus has already infiltrated MLB -- with Detroit Tigers pitcher Francisco Rodriguez saying he contracted the virus in Venezuela during the offseason.

The 34-year-old revealed his health status to ESPN -- saying his symptoms started off almost like a common cold ... but quickly escalated.

"It wasn't a cold. A cold, you have a sneeze, have a headache, take a couple Tylenol and you're done. You don't have a cold for two weeks, you don't have a bodyache for two weeks, you don't have headaches, throwing up, weaknesses for two weeks."

Rodriguez says he was bedridden for 2 weeks while he fought off the mosquito-borne virus -- which some experts say can cause severe birth defects and neurological issues in adults.

He also says it took him roughly 2 months before he started to feel normal again -- and notes that he was never considered contagious.

As for Olympic athletes worried about catching Zika in Brazil -- Rodriguez says the concern is real.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer called police to report that his GF had attacked him during a domestic dispute Monday night -- but when cops arrived, he ended up in cuffs too.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Dept. says the 23-year-old Super Bowl champ called police to report that his GF had "put her hands on him."

When cops arrived to the scene, they ran both Latimer's and his GF's names through the system, per standard operating procedure -- and noticed a warrant out for Cody stemming from an old traffic violation.

The GF was arrested for assault and disturbing the peace. Latimer was arrested for the outstanding warrant (a failure to appear over a traffic ticket).

To be clear, Latimer was NOT accused of domestic violence.

Sacramento Kings point guard Darren Collison was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend in an incident involving his wife ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says a woman called cops at 2 AM on May 30th to report that she was being assaulted inside the home.

When cops arrived, "deputies found that the woman had visible injuries and they arrested Darren Collison, 29, on a charge of domestic violence."

During the arrest, cops noticed Collison had 2 misdemeanor warrants stemming from an unrelated driving on a suspended license case. He was released from jail at 9 AM Monday.

The Kings have issued a statement saying they're aware of the situation -- and added, "The Sacramento Kings condemn violence of any kind. We are gathering additional information and once all facts are known we will take appropriate steps."

Ex-NFL lineman Will Smith was reportedly driving with a blood alcohol level 3 times the legal limit when he was shot and killed last month in New Orleans.

The Times-Picayune says Smith's BAC was 0.24 the night he was shot to death ... according to its sources.

Smith was fatally gunned down and his wife, Racquel, was shot in both legs following a road rage argument with Cardell Hayes. The couple had been on their way home from dinner when they got into a fender bender with Hayes, who says he shot Smith in self-defense.

Cincinnati police are zeroing in on the parents of the 3-year-old boy who fell into Harambe the gorilla's enclosure ... a strong sign they could still be charged with a crime.

Cincy PD says they are reviewing "the actions of the parents/family that led up to the incident." Cops make it clear they're NOT focusing on the Cincinnati Zoo -- since that falls under the United States Department of Agriculture's jurisdiction.

Critics have called for the parents -- Michelle Gregg and Deonne Dickerson -- to face negligence charges ... blaming them for setting in motion the chain of events that led to Harambe's death.

Dickerson was not at the zoo when it all went down.
