Ex-MLB Star Matt Holliday FL Mansion Sells For $8.5 Million ... A-List Neighborhood

Published | Updated

World Series champ Matt Holliday is parting ways with his incredible Florida mansion ... and the new buyer copped the pad for a whopping $8.5 million!!!

TMZ Sports has learned ... Holliday's old home was custom-built in 2013 ... in a Jupiter neighborhood that's currently home to superfamous athletes like Serena Williams, Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka.

We're told the 7-bed, 7-bath waterfront estate is fully decked out with a gourmet chef's kitchen, home theater, elevator, wine cellar, awesome pool and spa and an 8-car garage.

If that ain't enough, the property also comes with a 2-bed, 2-bath guest house!!!

The lucky buyer -- repped by Billy Nash of Illustrated Properties -- is the CEO of a publicly-traded company ... but the name was not revealed. Whoever it is, they rich.

As for Holliday ... he made more than $163 MILLION in his 15-year MLB career ... so we're guessing the next pad is probably just as nice.

It's good to be rich!

Tom and Gisele whipped up a video tour of their 12,000-square-foot estate in Brookline, Massachusetts ... in hopes the footage will entice buyers to bite on the $39.5 mil asking price.

The Bradys famously built the home (which sits on 5 acres of land) in 2015 -- and it's INSANE!!!

5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 20 parking spaces, 5 fireplaces, pool, personal gym, rec room, outdoor organic herb/vegetable garden ... and it sits on the 9th hole of a fancy country club golf course!

In the video tour, posted by Tom's real estate agent, Beth Dickerson, you can also see some of the cool photos, art and game-worn helmets Tom has displayed around the home.

Bottom line ... this place is sick. Buy it if you can.

Brady's pal, Dana White, is trying to recruit him to the Las Vegas Raiders -- insisting TB12 could live in L.A. and commute to work.

Cedric Benson Incredible Austin Home Hits Market ... For $4.5 Million

Cedric Benson's longtime home in Austin -- which he completely rebuilt from the ground up -- is hitting the market ... and it's got a $4.5 million price tag.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Benson bought the Texas pad back in 2006 and worked passionately to turn it into his dream home.

The finished product is amazing -- it's got 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, pool and spa, personal gym ... and it's all sitting on top of a hill overlooking downtown Austin.

We're told it took 2 years to completely rebuild the house ... and Benson was involved in every detail of the house.

The crib is looking for a new owner who will love the place as much as the former NFL star did ... and it's currently listed for $4.5 million.

Benson tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident back in August 2019. He was 36 years old.

Justin & Hailey Bieber Looking to Buy, Complete 1st Home ... Could Spend $20 Million

Published | Updated

Justin and Hailey Bieber's potential starter home is one that's still under construction -- but we're hearing they're eyeing it pretty hard, and could spend a fortune to get it.

Sources tell TMZ ... Mr. and Mrs. Bieber have been looking at this monster of a home in Brentwood, which is currently owned by the CEO of Playboy Enterprises. The guy bought the place when it was a vacant lot in 2014, spending around $9 million just for the land.

Now, he's got a nearly completed property sitting atop all that dirt. It's a 7,500-square-foot modern Mediterranean mansion -- and as you can see, it's fit for a king and queen.

Enter the Biebers, whom we're told are seriously considering buying it and completing the work being done right now -- which, for now, is still being funded by the Playboy peeps. Our sources say Justin and Hailey might wanna pick up the baton and make it their own.

As for how much they could possibly spend ... we're told the pad could end up having a final price tag in the range of $18 to $20 million. Not to mention what it would cost finishing all the building that needs to be done.

In any case, it looks like it'd be a great first house they'd own together as a married couple. We know they've been looking around L.A. for the past couple years, but haven't pulled the trigger on anything quite yet. To this date, it appears they've mostly been renting.

Welcome home?

Josh Altman Bezos Paid Right Amount for Geffen's Estate ... Wish I Got Some!!!

Published | Updated

Josh Altman's praising Jeff Bezos for getting his money's worth in buying up David Geffen's estate -- even at $165 million -- because he says it's one of the best in the world ... though he doesn't necessarily condone HOW he bought it.

The "Million Dollar Listing" star was leaving Craig's in WeHo Thursday night when he ticked off several reasons why the Amazon honcho's "magnificent" new Beverly Hills property deserves to be the most expensive sale in the history of Los Angeles ... and then some.

Josh tells us he heard the whole deal went down on a yacht and the fellas handled the major real estate business without realtors ... something he's not down with, for obvious reasons.

Our sources tell us Josh is right ... at least about the yacht part. Jeff and David have become fast friends while spending time on Geffen's megayacht ... like Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, did last summer with a slew of other millionaires.

We're told the gentlemen struck a deal for David's estate on one of their most recent yacht excursions ... because that's how the rich roll.

As for Altman's beef with cutting out the realtors ... we can't really back him up there. Commission on a $165 mil sale would be a little over $8 mil in commission for the agents involved, and even though Bezos is stupid rich ... he's not stupid.

Jeff and David can take care of the deal themselves and hire a real estate lawyer to look it over ... for about $10,000.

Still, you can understand why Josh is looking out for his fellow realtors.

Jeff Bezos Drops $165 Mil on David Geffen Estate ... Sets New L.A. Record!!!

Published | Updated

Jeff Bezos is the new king of Hollywood real estate after scooping up David Geffen's Beverly Hills estate for a drop in the bucket -- to him, anyway -- $165 million.

The Amazon honcho reportedly purchased the famous 9-acre property this week. It was one of the most coveted in the L.A.-area because it used to belong to the Warner Bros. founder and president, Jack L. Warner, in the 1930s.

The purchase amount -- first reported by the Wall Street Journal -- is history-making in the City of Angels. The previous most expensive property sale was last year's $150 million purchase of the Bel-Air Chartwell estate, made famous by "The Beverly Hillbillies."

So, what did JB get for all that cash? Oh, just a 13,600-square-foot mansion with massive terraces and gardens. Of course, there are multiple guest houses, a nursery, greenhouses, a tennis court, a swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course and its own car emporium (fancy for HUGE garage) ... with gas pumps!!!

Geffen's owned it since 1990, and he only spent $47.5 million at the time. Yes, that was a record way back then. Bezos' real estate team has been busy -- he also dropped $90 million for an undeveloped plot of land in L.A., and another $80 mil for 3 apartments in NYC, which total more than 17,000 sq. feet.

For a little perspective on Bezos' massive spending spree, consider this: the $335 million he's dropping is less than 3 percent of the $13 BILLION he made in a matter of minutes last month.

In more depressing terms -- if you earn $100k per year, this is like you dropping less than $3,000 for a new house!!!

BTW, there are realtors crying all over L.A., because we're told Bezos didn't use an agent for the Geffen deal. That would've been more than $8.25 mil in someone's pocket.

As always ... it's really good to be the richest man in the world.

Shaq Rapper Art Tribute at L.A. Home ... Biggie, Tupac and Nipsey

Published | Updated

Shaquille O'Neal made a video to help sell his L.A.-area home -- but what it shows is the NBA star has honored 3 late rappers with some VERY cool art.

Of course, Shaq is a BIG rap nerd -- not only has he dropped albums, but he LOVES the genre and has a particular affinity for guys like Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac.

So, when he posted a brand new video tour of the Bell Canyon mansion he put on the market for $2.5 million ... the art on the walls caught our eye.

He's got two Biggie pieces along with a portrait of Pac and a newer image of Nipsey Hussle -- three great rappers who are all gone, but not forgotten.

If you're interested in the actual property, yeah -- it's pretty sick!!

5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 5,217-square-feet with a chef's kitchen, wet bar, media room, sick pool, wine closet ... and it's all walking distance to the community center gym and tennis courts.

Guessing the art doesn't come with the house ... but then again, everything's negotiable, right?

State Farm to Shannen Doherty Calm Down, It's Only Cancer ... Claims Actress Is Just Looking for Sympathy

Published | Updated

Shannen Doherty is dying of cancer and has been displaced from her damaged home after the devastating California wildfires -- damage she's fighting State Farm to repair -- and now the insurance company says cancer doesn't justify a total remodel.

Shannen has sued State Farm over the amount the company is willing to pay to make her home right again. State Farm is saying her home didn't suffer fire or structural damage. Nevertheless, State Farm claims in new legal docs it's paid more than $1 million, which includes remediation, professional cleaning and rent for a temporary house for a year.

State Farm says, Shannen "improperly claims she is entitled to have her entire home rebuilt at a cost of $2.7 million because she has breast cancer and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease."

And, get this ... State Farm says, "In fact, the first sentence of [Shannen's] memorandum ... reveals [her] plan at trial to garner sympathy by her contention that State Farm must rebuild her entire house ..."

Shannen revealed she has stage 4 breast cancer and it's terminal.

Lori Loughlin, Mossimo Giannulli We're Movin' On!!! ... List $28 Million Estate

Published | Updated

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have listed their massively expensive home, TMZ has learned, but our sources say it has NOTHING to do with the college admissions scandal or their upcoming trial.

Lori and Mossimo have quietly put their Bel-Air estate on the market for $28,650,000. It's in one of the best areas of L.A.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ, they're doing what they always do ... following Mossimo's passion for architecture. He's super talented at redoing homes, and this one's no exception. They bought the house in 2015 for $13.9 million and listed it 2 years later for $35 million but took it off the market in July 2018.

The house is pretty great ... 12,000-square-feet, 6 bedrooms, 9 baths and on and on.

So Mossimo did his thing, and now they're ready for another home challenge. They've done this for years, selling the family home every 3 to 5 years.

And, check this out. Realtors at this price point typically get 5% of the purchase price -- which they split if there's a separate agent for the seller and the buyer. If someone offers full price that would mean the commission would be $1.43 million. The deal is ... the commission will be maxed out at $1 mil -- take it or leave it.

Blac Chyna Judge Says She's Gotta Pay $72K ... To Former Landlord

Published

Blac Chyna's gotta write a fat check to her former landlord for allegedly bailing on her lease and not paying rent ... because she didn't even bother to fight the lawsuit against her.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... BC's been ordered to fork over nearly $72,000 to Michael Kremerman, who sued her for unpaid rent and damages to the rental home.

It's a default judgment, meaning the judge ruled for Kremerman because Chyna never responded to the suit.

As we first reported ... the landlord filed suit against Blac Chyna back in April, claiming she bolted on her lease 5 months early, didn't pay a dime after leaving and removed fixtures and equipment from the pad.

The landlord said BC was $48,546 in the red, and he sued for that amount plus interest and attorney's fees ... hence the $72k judgment.

The expensive lesson here for Chyna -- no such thing as free rent.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Ex-GF Jen Harley 's Got a Deal for Ya ... In the Real Estate Biz!!!

Published

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's baby mama, Jen Harley, is turning her passion into a full-time gig ... because she's officially licensed to sell houses!!!

Jen just got her real estate license in Nevada, according to legal docs obtained by TMZ, and she's joining the team at Realty One Group in Las Vegas.

Sources close to Jen tell TMZ ... she caught the real estate bug after making some extra cash helping agents flip her own homes, and decided she wanted to take real estate classes and pursue a career in the biz.

Jen's been around the game for a while ... we're told she's owned 6 homes in her life and got a thrill out of buying and selling each property. Now she can pocket some commissions!!!

In addition to being licensed in Nevada, we're told Jen wants to eventually get a license in Cali, and she has a house in escrow in Florida she's hoping to turn into an Airbnb.

As you know ... Ronnie and Jen are selling their Las Vegas home after listing it 3 months ago. Jen only got her real estate license in January, so she didn't land that listing.

Probably for the best, considering their track record.

YG has no idea what investigators are talking about and we have not been provided with any details ... we are learning about this case through the media."

UPDATE

Tacopina continues, "Rest assured, my client will be cleared of all charges, if they even survive past the arraignment."

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jen Harley $elling Vegas Crib ... Drama Not Included!!!

Published | Updated

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley are officially moving on ... when it comes to their Vegas home anyway, 'cause TMZ's learned they've listed it for sale.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... the 'Jersey Shore' star and Jen put their home on the market 3 months ago for a cool $869,900 and we're told the reasoning is surprisingly quite simple -- Ron's moving to L.A. and Jen's got no use for it and is game for selling it.

We're told Ronnie plunked down all the cash for the crib back in October 2017, but they'll split the profits, if any. They bought it for $725k. Our sources also say the sale has nothing to do with their drama-filled relationship ... it's just that, logistically, they don't need it.

A source close to Ronnie tells us he footed all the bills for the home as well ... and Jen also had a place of her own in the city.

The house itself is a marvel ... 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and nearly 3,000 square feet of living space. It's nestled inside a gated community ... so, privacy. It also features a full panoramic view of the strip, city and mountains. There's also a relaxing spa.

Ronnie and Jen, however, did anything but relax in that house -- the site of some of their most volatile fights in their frequently hostile relationship.
