NFL player Branden Albert -- a 2-time Pro Bowl lineman -- was arrested Wednesday in Atlanta ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The 6'5" 315 lbs offensive lineman was popped for 2nd degree criminal damages and willful obstruction of a law officer, according to jail records.

At the time of this post, he's still in Fulton County jail.

Details surrounding the arrest are unclear -- there are reports he was involved in an altercation at a jewelry store and was tazed ... but cops have not confirmed yet.

Fetty Wap got 15 charges knocked down to 2 and, as a result, he'll avoid doing any jail time for his DWI arrest.

Fetty was in a Brooklyn courthouse Thursday to plead guilty to driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment. TMZ broke the story ... the rapper was busted in November while, according to cops, he raced another car on a highway at speeds topping 100 MPH. His BAC was .09 ... just over the legal limit.

He has to pay a $500 fine and attend 14 hours of impaired driving education.

3:15 PM PT -- In court docs, Harvard-Westlake officials say Martin checked into a mental health facility following his arrest ... but he might be out already and the school doesn't want to take any chances.

School officials say the fact Martin was arrested with a gun in his possession coupled with the fact he lives less than 45 minutes from campus is very concerning to faculty, parents and students.

The restraining order request was granted -- and Martin has been ordered to stay 150 yards away from the school.

Ex-NFL player Jonathan Martin's alma mater wants to make sure he comes nowhere near the famous high school after his arrest with a shotgun.

Harvard-Westlake High School filed docs Thursday to get a restraining order against Martin. As we reported, police detained him last week after he posted a photo of a shotgun and ammo, and tagged the names of 2 former Harvard-Westlake classmates -- as well as 2 of his Dolphins teammates, including Richie Incognito.

Out of precaution, the private school campus was shut down when Martin posted the photo. Police eventually located him and detained him. He was carrying a gun with him at the time the police caught up to him.

University of Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller just came out swinging against allegations he tried to pay a top recruit $100,000 to play for him ... saying, "I have done nothing wrong."

Miller appeared at a news conference Thursday to address reports that FBI wiretaps show he discussed making a $100,000 payment to lock up high school phenom Deandre Ayton.

"I have never paid a recruit to come to Arizona," Miller said ... who adds he also never DISCUSSED paying a recruit.

In short, Miller says the allegations are inaccurate, false and defamatory.

"I have never knowingly violated NCAA rules while serving as head coach at this great program."

Miller says he was approached with the suggestion of paying a recruit at one point during his career at U of A ... but he did NOT agree to pay the recruit and that player did not end up at the school.

Jacksonville Jaguars star Dante Fowler copped a plea in his parking lot beatdown case -- but he ain't going to jail.

As we previously reported, the 23-year-old was charged with battery, criminal mischief and petty theft -- all misdemeanors -- after he allegedly roughed a dude up in an apartment parking lot in Florida back in July.

Officials say Fowler got upset with a man after he criticized his driving -- and proceeded to hit the guy, knock off his glasses, stepped on them ... and then grabbed the man's bag of newly purchased liquor and threw it in a nearby lake.

Fowler was facing about a year in jail -- but instead cut a deal in which he pled no contest to all 3 counts and in exchange he got 12 months probation, 75 hours of community service and more than $1,000 in fines.

He was also ordered to stay away from the victim, according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

Fowler previously apologized for the incident -- telling Jaguars fans, "I'm a better person than that."

Officials have dropped the domestic violence case against Denver Broncos safety Will Parks -- after the alleged victim stopped cooperating with investigators ... TMZ Sports has learned,.

The 23-year-old rising star was arrested back in March 2017 after officials say he threatened his ex-girlfriend when she came over to his home to collect her belongings after they broke up.

Parks allegedly unleashed a verbal tirade at the woman -- accusing her of stealing some of his stuff.

At the time, the woman told police Parks threatened to have his cousin fly in from Philadelphia to "beat her ass."

Parks denied all wrongdoing -- but he was arrested anyway for misdemeanor harassment and domestic violence charges.

The case was supposed to go to jury trial on Tuesday -- but prosecutors tell TMZ Sports the accuser stopped cooperating. Even when they sent her a subpoena to appear in court, she blew it off.

Ultimately, prosecutors didn't feel they could get a conviction without her testimony -- so they dropped the case against Parks.

Harvey Weinstein's insurance company wants no part of his multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits ... and is marching into court to make sure it doesn't get burned.

Chubb Indemnity Insurance Company just filed docs asking a judge to declare it's not responsible for defending Weinstein in 11 lawsuits. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, the cases all relate to his "pattern of intentional, egregious sexual predatory behavior" over 30 years.

The company says its policies issued to Weinstein specifically do NOT cover sexual misconduct or harassment. Chubb says it's already informed Weinstein he's on his own in his legal battles.

According to Chubb, Weinstein's lawyers are challenging that in at least one of his lawsuits.

Desiigner is being sued by a woman who says he put her on blast, calling her a fraud after she helped his sister get into college ... TMZ has learned.

Jessica Brown is pissed about the rapper's Instagram post from last August ... where he referred to her as a "fraud," and warned his followers to stay away from her and her "college scams."

Jessica is the president of a company called College Gurl, which she says educates young people on how to pay for college -- and she says she helped Desiigner's sister, Siera Shelby, get into Howard University. In addition ... Jessica says she helped Siera get a storage unit while she was at school.

For some reason, Siera left Howard ... according to Jessica, and left belongings behind in the storage unit. Jessica claims she tried to return the stuff, but was told Siera didn't want it. Shortly thereafter, she says big bro Desiigner stepped in, and lit into her on IG, to more than 1.5 million people who follow him.

Packers running back Aaron Jones just got punished for his October arrest -- driving while high on weed -- and it's gonna cost him driving privileges for 6 months.

Jones was initially pulled over in Green Bay on Oct. 1 for going 79 mph in a 55. During the stop, the officer smelled weed.

And after Jones bombed a field sobriety test, he admitted on camera "I was smoking it."

The 23-year-old was initially charged with operating a vehicle with a restricted controlled substance, speeding and operating without a valid license. In exchange for pleading no contest to the weed charge, the remaining 2 charges were dropped.

Along with losing his license, Jones will have to pay a $1,047 fine and undergo drug assessments to make sure he doesn't mess up again.

Evan Rachel Wood is pouring her heart out -- describing her struggles as a rape victim -- in order to get Congress on board with passing a bill of rights for survivors.

Evan Rachel spoke to the House Judiciary Committee, and made a very emotional speech about her life after being raped twice. While she applauded the #MeToo and Time's Up movements, she told committee members on Tuesday ... "Waves of memories and detail came flooding into my brain" when she heard victims' stories.

The actress says 7 years after her rapes, she was diagnosed with long term PTSD, and would often clutch a baseball bat when she went to bed.

She implored the U.S. Representatives to pass the sexual assault survivor's bill of rights in all states. It's currently only passed in 9 of them.

Lisa Marie Presley has to ante up $100,000 to her estranged husband ... a particularly difficult task since she says she's flat broke.

The judge in her divorce case ordered the payment to Michael Lockwood within 30 days. It's unclear how she'll pay the loot, because she claims she's $16 million in the hole.

Lockwood has claimed Lisa's lying about her assets, alleging she rakes in way more money than she spends.

More money woes for The Weinstein Company -- one of its credit card companies is coming after it for a huge unpaid bill.

American Express filed legal docs Wednesday claiming TWC's corporate account has an outstanding balance of more than $1.38 million, and the money's due immediately ... plus court costs.

It's unclear where TWC spent all that dough, but as we reported ... it plans to file bankruptcy in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, because it's been hemorrhaging assets and dealing with multiple lawsuits.

Rose McGowan wants her felony cocaine possession case tossed because she says the coke may well have been planted ... and she points to Harvey Weinstein.

McGowan has pled not guilty to cocaine possession after cocaine was found in the wallet she accidentally left behind on a United jet.

McGowan says the timeline is critical ... noting 5 hours passed between the time she got off the plane and her wallet was found by the cleaning crew and handed over to cops. Her lawyer says in the motion to dismiss, "There is simply no point in time at which the evidence places Ms. McGowan and the cocaine together in the same place."

The lawyer goes on to allege McGowan's claims against Weinstein may be behind it all, arguing evidence was planted ... the result of "the underhanded targeting of Ms. McGowan by the fallen mogul."

Danielle Bregoli doesn't have a father anymore ... legally speaking.

Danielle's mother, Barbara Bregoli, filed docs -- obtained by TMZ -- to formally remove her dad's name, Ira Peskowitz, from her birth certificate. A judge has signed off on it to make it official.

As we've reported ... Danielle -- aka Bhad Bhabie -- has had bad blood with Ira ... claiming he was an absentee father who only now wanted to be in her life because she's making bank. Ira also begged the court to let him off the hook on child support.

We're told Barbara and Ira struck a deal, whereby he surrendered all parental rights, including custody and child support. We don't know if Barbara paid Ira to go away.

We're told Danielle wants her legal last name to be Bregoli, and since the judge agreed, she now wants Ira entirely removed from her life.

Akon's learning the hard way that giving the cold shoulder never pays ... especially when it comes to lawsuits, cause now he's gotta cough up tons of dough.

Akon's been ordered to pay $164,786.99 to a company that leased him some space on the 66th floor of the Empire State Building for his fashion line, Aliaune Milano ... this according to legal docs obtained by TMZ.

The leasing company, GTFM, said Akon agreed in July of 2012 to pay $25k per month and did so until July of 2015 when he stopped paying rent. GTFM claims Akon's company finally left in January of 2016, owing almost 7 months of rent.

Joe Jonas is dealing with the downside of having someone run his errands ... especially if that person allegedly hits someone else with his car.

A woman is suing the DNCE singer, claiming his assistant was driving Joe's 2012 Audi A6 in the heart of Hollywood, when she made a left turn in an intersection that resulted in a collision with the woman. According to the legal docs, it went down in March 2016.

The woman's lawyer, Gerald Marcus, tells us his firm ran the plates and confirmed the Audi was registered to Jonas. We're told no police report was filed and there were no witnesses. It's unclear from the docs if Joe was in the vehicle with his assistant.

Regardless, the woman's suing both Joe and the assistant for negligence, claiming she was injured in the collision and has endured mental and physical pain, incurred medical expenses and lost earnings.

We reached out to Jonas ... no word back so far.
