Antonio Brown Suspended 3 Games ... After NFL Says He Faked COVID Vaccine Card
-

1:34 PM PT -- Burstyn just released another statement in the wake of the NFL's suspension, saying, "Mr. Brown is vaccinated and continues to support the vaccine for any person for whom it is appropriate."
"The NFL made its determination and, instead of going through the drawn out and distracting process of challenging the outcome, Mr. Brown wrapped this up promptly and he will make this most of this time by treating his ankle injury."
Burstyn continued, "Mr. Brown will be motivated, well rested, and in the best shape of his life when he returns in week 16."
The NFL says Antonio Brown did, in fact, submit a bogus vaccine card to the league ... and officials just announced he's now been suspended three games over it all.
Brown's chef, Steven Ruiz, claimed last month that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star had sought and then obtained the fraudulent paper back in July -- but Brown was adamant Ruiz was lying.
In a statement, Brown's attorney, Sean Burstyn, said the 33-year-old was vaccinated and did have proper paperwork ... adding, "Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine."
But, the NFL said in a statement of its own on Thursday that after investigating the claims ... it found Brown did "misrepresent" his vaccine status, explaining their review "supported" the allegations made against AB.
The league said Brown has now been banned from playing for the next three games -- adding that Brown has "accepted the discipline" and will not appeal.
The NFL also revealed two other players -- Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards and former Tampa Bay receiver and current free agent John Franklin III -- also misrepresented their vaccine statuses and were also suspended three games.
Brown has been out of the Bucs' lineup since October while battling an ankle injury, but prior to that, he had been shining with Tom Brady -- scoring four receiving TDs in five games.

UFC's Dana White Tests Positive For COVID-19 Consulted W/ Joe Rogan
Dana White didn't make it through the Thanksgiving holiday unscathed ... 'cause the UFC boss announced he tested positive for COVID-19 -- but thankfully he says he's feelin' okay.
White broke the news during an interview with Jim Rome ... revealing his entire family caught the virus after a weekend at his house in Maine.
“We just went up to my place in Maine and for Thanksgiving, it’s tradition we go up there, and somebody had it, and we get back, and we all tested positive for COVID,” White said.
Dana says he felt fine but realized something was wrong when he couldn't smell anything.
“We got back on Saturday. On Sunday, I cold plunge and steam every day,” White continued. “So I get out of the cold plunge and steam, and I spray the eucalyptus and I was like, ‘What the hell?’ I couldn’t smell anything."
White -- who's fully vaccinated -- says aside from losing taste and smell, his symptoms were minimal.
But, who do you call when you have COVID? Joe Rogan, of course!
Of course, nothing says controversy like Rogan and COVID. The JRE host was slammed by CNN and other outlets for using Ivermectin to battle the virus.
Still, everyone from Aaron Rodgers and now the UFC prez have consulted with Joe ... who himself battled and beat COVID.
11/5/21
As for Dana, he says he's doing fine and is actually gunning to attend the UFC fights this weekend.
"Never felt better. I’m feeling like a million bucks. I’m doing two-a-day workouts for the next 10 days while I have COVID and I’m in quarantine. I got my smell and taste back in less than 24 hours.”

Donald Trump Tested Positive for COVID ... Before First 2020 Debate
11:03 AM PT -- President Biden just took a shot at Trump ... asked if he thinks Trump put him at risk during the debate, when Trump was apparently positive for COVID-19, Biden said, "I don't think about the former president."

— Adam Parkhomenko (@AdamParkhomenko) December 1, 2021 @AdamParkhomenko
It was a mic drop moment ... with Biden smiling before waving and walking away from the podium.
8:37 AM PT -- Trump went on FOX a few days after the debate and seemed to suggest he may have got the virus from his up close and personal meetings with Gold Star families.
"I met with Gold Star families. I didn't want to cancel that ... I can't say, 'back up' ... they wanna hug me and they wanna kiss me, and they do" -- Trump on now suggesting Gold Start families gave him coronavirus pic.twitter.com/7F2dBzRFgi
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) October 8, 2020 @atrupar
Trump's comments are being resurfaced in a video clip on social media ... but remember, Meadows says Trump was positive before hosting the Gold Star families at the White House.
Donald Trump had tested positive for COVID-19 just days before meeting up with Joe Biden for their first presidential debate -- this according to his ex-Chief of Staff.
Mark Meadows makes the claim in a new book, 'The Chief's Chief,' describing how DT allegedly received a positive result on Sep. 26 ... 3 days before the Ohio debate. Meadows does say Trump took a second test which turned up negative, but that reportedly was an antigen test, which is not as reliable as the PCR test. The PCR test can detect COVID levels the antigen test can't.
Nonetheless ... Meadows says Trump was hell-bent on debating Biden, saying, "Nothing was going to stop [Trump] from going out there."
It's a shocking revelation. Apparently, Trump was symptomatic with a positive PCR test, which means he should have quarantined for 10 days, but he did the opposite.
He held a Rose Garden ceremony to introduce his last Supreme Court nominee -- Amy Coney Barrett -- to the public. Meadows says Trump was already showing symptoms but the president went to the event maskless. Not surprisingly, it turned out to be a super spreader event.
He also had a ceremony for Gold Star families at The White House ... again, he did not wear a mask even though he had COVID, at least according to Meadows.
The way Meadows describes it ... Trump was about to head to a rally in PA, when Meadows received a call from his doc, telling them to halt everything since POTUS had just tested positive. Meadows says he informed Trump, and the guy apparently had a colorful response.
MM writes Trump's answer "rhyme[d] with ‘Oh spit, you’ve gotta be trucking lidding me."
As if it weren't bad enough, Trump arrived at the debate late ... too late to be tested, and moderator Chris Wallace said at the time they were trusting Trump was negative based on the honor system.
Trump calls Meadows' description of events "fake news." He says he did not have COVID prior to or during the first debate. He cites a test proving he did not have COVID prior to the debate. That's not necessarily inconsistent with Meadows' account ... because even if he had a negative antigen test he still had a positive PCR test, according to MM.
If Meadows' account is true, there's no other way to cut it ... it's shockingly reckless, uncaring for others and, frankly, disgusting.

4:10 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has learned ... LeBron James tested positive for COVID-19 this afternoon using a lateral flow test. James was given a follow-up PCR test to confirm the diagnosis. However, that test came back negative. LeBron was then given a third tie-breaker test ... which came back positive.
We're told the team has chartered a private jet so Bron can fly back to Los Angeles in a safe manner.
We're also told James is currently asymptomatic. LeBron is fully vaccinated.
LeBron James has been placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols and will miss tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings, the league announced Tuesday.
The news comes just hours before the Lakers are set to go up against the Kings.
It's unclear if 36-year-old James is COVID-19 positive, if he was a close contact or had a false positive.
Per the league's rules, if James is positive, he will be away from the team either for the next 10 days or until he submits at least two negative PCR tests before returning.
9/28/21
LeBron is fully vaccinated but has previously shied away from encouraging others to get the jab.
"We're talking about individuals' bodies," LeBron said back in September. "We're not talking about something that's political, or racism, or police brutality. Things of that nature. We're talking about people's bodies and well being."
"So, I don't feel like, for me personally, that I should get involved in what other people should do for their bodies and their livelihoods."
LBJ is averaging 25.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists for the 11-11 Lakers ... and previously missed several games this season due to an ab strain.

Evander Kane Claims He's Fully Vaccinated Dodges Fake Card Questions

No need for Evander Kane to have a fake COVID-19 vaccine card now -- at least that's what he's claiming -- 'cause the NHL star says he's now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The 30-year-old pro faced the media as he was assigned to the AHL's San Jose Barracuda on Tuesday ... and naturally, he was asked about allegedly getting busted for submitting a bogus COVID-19 vaccine card to the NHL.
Kane was suspended as a result of the investigation ... and now that he's back after being waived by the Sharks, he was given the chance to clear the air -- but dodged the hell outta the question.
“You'll have to refer to the NHL statement they put out via suspension," Kane said. "I served my time, did my 21 games and now I'm back."
Kane has faced a number of issues this season -- he was accused of betting on games and sexually and physically abusing his estranged wife, which he's adamantly denied.

Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy Tests Positive For COVID ... Out For Saints Game
-
Breaking News

The Cowboys will have to try to snap out of their funk this week without their head coach ... 'cause Mike McCarthy has COVID and has already been ruled out of Thursday's game.
The 58-year-old tested positive for the virus on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported, and will be forced to miss Dallas' Week 13 matchup with the New Orleans Saints because of it.
It's clearly a big deal for the Cowboys -- they've lost 3 of their last 4 games, and trying to stop that losing skid won't be easy without their head coach.
And, the bad news in Dallas might not be stopping anytime soon, either -- because COVID is showing no signs of slowing down its attack on the Cowboys.
In addition to star receiver Amari Cooper, who's missed the last two games due to a positive test, the Cowboys also have several assistant coaches who are out while battling the virus.
Their right tackle, Terence Steele, and backup tight end, Blake Jarwin, have also been moved to the COVID-19 reserve list and are out for Thursday's game too.
Kickoff for Dallas' game in Louisiana is slated for 5:20 PM -- here's to hoping everyone stays safe from the virus going forward.

Oh, Canada Quebec Set to Tap Syrup Reserves ... No Pancake Left Un-drizzled
If your short stack has been feeling a little dry lately due to a lack of (affordable) syrup -- that's all about to change ... because Canada is tapping its stockpile of sweet nectar.
Quebec Maple Syrup Producers -- a quasi-government-sanction agency accounting for over 70% of the world's maple syrup production -- just announced they're going to start draining upwards of 50 million pounds of syrup from barrels they have in their strategic reserve.
Yes, strategic reserve ... just like the ones we're about to tap to help lower gas prices here in the States. Apparently, Canada has a sea of this condiment at the ready for emergencies.
Welp, that emergency is here ... as the global economy deals with a supply crisis -- due, in part, to the pandemic among other factors -- QMSP says it's time to dip into what they have on hand to make sure countries around the world, especially its #1 customer in the U.S., can keep on drizzling their waffles and pancakes with ease and within reasonable price ranges.
Word is ... this harvest season made for a bad batch of syrup, meaning not nearly enough was produced due to a warmer/shorter spring season ... the ideal conditions for which are needed to see a solid yield. Add in the fact more people are cooking from home right now -- and you have a lopsided supply/demand equation ... hence them going to the reserves.
This will be the most syrup they've tapped since 2008. A rep for the org says, "The reserve is there to make sure that we are always able to sell and offer this product."

In anticipation for next year ... a reported 7 million additional syrup taps have been OK'd.

SoFi Stadium We Checked Vax Cards for BTS Fans Attendees Say Otherwise
-
Exclusive Details

SoFi Stadium seemed a little too easy to slip into ahead of a big BTS concert -- so much so that many felt COVID protocols were being broken ... even though the venue refutes that.
The Korean pop band performed Saturday at the arena in L.A., and as the gates opened for ticketholders ... some say they saw laxed screenings by security and other personnel, which they believe also meant vaccination cards weren't being checked or enforced.
Ditto for bags ... tons of people online, who presumably were there, claim nobody was taking a look at anyone's personal belongings.
There's some video evidence that appears to support that, at least on the surface. As you can see -- a steady stream of fans are trickling in past security checkpoints ... and there doesn't seem to be much stop-and-go movement, it's all just go.
Of course, this drew some criticism and concern -- as SoFi's policy for entry is that you either present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within recent days. Naturally, the Omicron variant is at the forefront of everyone's minds too.
On their end, SoFi tells TMZ ... "The safety of our guests, staff and the artist are always our number one priority, and we coordinated with law enforcement to temporarily streamline guest entry at last night's show. Tonight, we will have increased security and guest entry points and will begin vaccination verification even earlier in the entry process."
So ... it sounds like they're saying they were checking, but that they're going to kick it up a notch on Sunday for BTS's 2nd show.

Blac Chyna Omicron Variant's on the Loose ... Like I Said, Get Jabbed!!!

Blac Chyna's advice on the new 'rona variant is about the same from when she was screaming in an airport not too long ago -- everyone's gotta get vaccinated, and now.
We spoke to the influencer and reality TV star at LAX Friday, where she gave us her thoughts on what scientists are calling Omicron ... a new strain of COVID that's apparently spreading from South Africa to other parts of the world.
Chyna agrees it's pretty scary, but she stays on message ... saying folks have gotta get jabbed up. When we ask why she thinks many haven't yet -- she's got an interesting answer.
Watch ... BC seems to think this might be about perception and proximity -- namely, if no one in your immediate circle is affected, you're less inclined to believe how dangerous the virus is.
To her, it's nothing to take lightly ... and she, unfortunately, knows that first-hand -- as Chyna tells us she's lost loved ones to COVID, noting it's not a game and absolutely lethal ... especially now that there's this new variant that's threatening to break loose.
She's not too sure what to do about the unvaccinated -- however, she is sure she can nudge people in the right direction. She was a bit more emphatic in Miami ... but point taken.

Jon Gosselin was bitten by a spider, and it really messed him up.
Jon tells TMZ ... he doesn't know exactly where it happened, but his leg swelled up to twice its normal size. He says ... and the pain was "excruciating." He could barely walk and rushed himself to an Urgent Care, where he got an Rx for antibiotics and antibiotic cream.
Jon told The Sun he believes it was a brown, recluse spider. If he's right, these critters are super dangerous. People have lost limbs after being bitten. Some have even died.
Jon made it clear to The Sun, 2021 has sucked for him ... "My first thought was 'What now?' I have had a rough year, my breakup was hard, then I got COVID, which was bad. It was really weird because when I looked at my leg I realized it was twice the size and there's a red-looking blister with a large red circle around it."
Gosselin went on to say ... "It kind of looked like a cigarette burn, but really raised. The doc immediately knew the pain was from a brown recluse, which is a deadly spider. My entire leg had swollen up from the cellulitis."
He wasn't done ... "The doctor told me that I was lucky to come in because if you don't treat this you can lose limbs or die from a bacterial infection. I just wish I knew where the spider was so I can take my revenge."
2022 is just around the corner, so Jon ... one more month.

COVID Pandemic New Variant Could Make Vaccine 40% Less Effective ... President Biden Acts
11:14 AM PT -- President Biden looks like he's taking the new COVID variant seriously ... because he's restricting travel from countries in the area where the new strain is cropping up.
Biden will restrict travel, starting Monday, from 8 African nations ... most notably, South Africa. Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe are also on the list, according to CNN.
POTUS, who was briefed Friday on the new variant, is reportedly acting on advice from Dr. Anthony Fauci and the CDC.
Bad news -- possibly REALLY bad news -- there's a new COVID variant that has some countries in a panic ... a variant that may make the vaccine WAY less effective.
The new strain turned up in South Africa, but it's also been detected in Belgium, Botswana, Hong Kong and Israel. As everyone knows by now, this virus knows no boundaries, so it's become a concern worldwide.
Some scientists are saying the variant makes the vaccine 40% less effective, which is beyond alarming. The hope was the Delta variant would wane after the first few months of 2022 and the pandemic would be behind us, but this new strain poses a real threat.
A bunch of countries -- including Britain, Israel, Germany and Italy -- have banned flights from South Africa, but the U.S. is still allowing planes from that country to land here. The U.S. has still listed South Africa as "Level 1: Low Level of COVID-19."
⚠️My god—the new #B11259 variant being possibly ~500% more competitively infectious is the most staggering stat yet. Also, #NuVariant has more than >2x the number of bad spike mutations than Delta. Here’s an updated 🧵👇

Dr. Eric Feigle-Ding sounded the alarm in a tweet -- "My god—the new #B11259 variant being possibly ~500% more competitively infectious is the most staggering stat yet. Also, #NuVariant has more than >2x the number of bad spike mutations than Delta." Scary.
Short story ... there's concern this strain spreads way more easily than what we've already seen. That said, it's unclear if the strain is more severe than the strains we've all been dealing with over the last year-and-a-half.
Dr. Fauci says there's no evidence the variant has made its way to the U.S. ... at least not yet.

Aaron Rodgers says he does NOT have "COVID toe" ... and he proved it by showing off his big-ass foot to a group of media members who were asking about it on Wednesday.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Green Bay Packers star had contracted the coronavirus side effect on his foot after he had been diagnosed with COVID earlier this month.
The report claimed Rodgers was dealing with lesions and discoloration on his foot -- resulting in immense pain in his toe.
But, Rodgers slammed that report Wednesday -- saying it was all BS ... explaining he's dealing with nothing more than a fractured digit.
Aaron then pulled up his foot to show there was no purple bruising or scabs in sight.
"I can't believe I have to again come on here and talk about my medical information, but yeah, I have a fractured toe," Rodgers said. "I've never heard of 'COVID Toe' before. I have no lesions on my feet."
"That's just a classic case of disinformation. It's surprising coming from what used to be a reputable journalistic institution, but that's the world we live in these days."
Rodgers -- who was forced to sit out of Green Bay's game against Kansas City on Nov. 7 while battling COVID -- played despite the injury over the weekend ... but the Packers lost to the Vikings, 34-31.

Michael Irvin's bromance with Amari Cooper is on pause for now ... 'cause the Dallas legend tells TMZ Sports he's FURIOUS with the Cowboys star for not getting the COVID vaccine.
"I'm absolutely hot about it," The Playmaker said. "Are you joking?!"
Because of Cooper's unvaccinated status, after he tested positive for COVID last week, he was automatically ruled out of the Cowboys' games against the Chiefs and the Raiders.
Of course, Dallas got kicked in the teeth by Kansas City with the star receiver out on Sunday -- and its chances of beating the Raiders without Cooper on Thanksgiving aren't looking great either.

— RJ Ochoa (@rjochoa) October 19, 2018 @rjochoa
When we asked Irvin -- who's been a huge fan of Cooper's since the player was traded to Dallas in 2019 -- about it all in NYC on Monday, he didn't hold anything back, saying, "I'm so hot at Amari Cooper for not being on that field."
"I got a guy who makes $21 million on the bench at home not playing," Irvin added. "It's crazy."
Irvin says he knows even with the vaccine Cooper still might have been forced out of the games regardless, but he said he's mad at Amari for not even attempting to diminish that chance.
"You have to try to mitigate any issue that could cost you a game or a Super Bowl, and COVID is one of them," Irvin said. "You go get vaccinated to try to mitigate it, best you can."

For Dak Prescott's part, Cooper's quarterback chose not to criticize his wideout after the loss to the Chiefs over the vaccine decision ... telling reporters he's pretty sure Cooper would have missed the two games regardless.
"Let's try not to knock the guy or put the guy down for a personal decision," Prescott said. "I don't think there's anybody that comes back under 10 days."

Washington Nationals Sued By Ex-Coaches Over Team's Vax Mandate ... It Violated Our Religious Beliefs!!!

Two former Washington Nationals employees who coached pitching in the org's minor league ranks say the MLB team's COVID vaccine mandate wrongfully led to their firings earlier this year ... and now, they're suing over it all.
The two pitching coaches -- Lawrence Pardo and Brad Holman -- spelled it all out in a lawsuit filed Monday ... saying they did not want to take the vaccines for religious reasons.
But, in the docs, they say their requests for exemptions were rebuked by the Nationals ... and they were eventually terminated over it.
In the docs, Pardo and Holman say back on Aug. 12, the team issued a vaccine mandate, explaining if employees, excluding players, did not have at least one shot by Sept. 10, they'd be fired.
Both Pardo and Holman, though, say they could not take the shots because they claim the vaccines "were developed from or tested on aborted fetal cells."
As self-proclaimed strong opponents of abortion, Pardo and Holman both believed that gave them a religious exemption.
But, the two say the team denied their requests for exemptions ... and then canned them.
Pardo and Holman are now suing for damages, saying they were discriminated against on the basis of religion.
We've reached out to the Nats for comment, but so far, no word back yet.

OKC Thunder Proof of Vax No Longer Required ... For Home Games
The Oklahoma City Thunder will no longer require proof of vaccination or testing to attend home games ... which means fans are one step closer to a normal basketball experience.
Effective December 1, folks hitting up OKC home games will no longer be subjected to the same protocols they were for the first 10 home games.
Before this announcement, fans would have to consent to testing or provide proof that they had been vaccinated against COVID ... and children ages 2-11 had to wear masks at the games.
FYI -- the Oklahoma Department of Health is reporting that the percentage of Oklahoma County residents age 12 and older who are fully or partially vaccinated has risen to 85%.
The Thunder's change comes as the number of COVID cases has dropped considerably, and hospitalizations have declined at similar rates ... paving way for the team to make changes.
Of course, the team consulted with health officials before making such a drastic decision ... discussing the data and vaccination rates across the state. After being encouraged by the numbers, the team decided to lift their current vaccine/testing mandates.
But, it's not completely over just yet -- fans with courtside seats will have to show proof of vax or test ... as those rules are determined by the league.
Despite the progress being made in the fight against COVID in Oklahoma, the team is still encouraging their fans to get vaccinated and to continue to wear masks at the games.

Antonio Brown I Didn't Fake My COVID Vaccine Card ... Allegations Aren't True

2:39 PM PT -- The Buccaneers just said in a statement they reviewed all of their players' cards -- presumably including Brown's -- and "no irregularities were observed."
— Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@Buccaneers) November 18, 2021 @Buccaneers
Antonio Brown is calling BS on his former chef ... saying he did NOT submit a fake COVID vaccine card to the NFL.
The chef, Steven Ruiz, told the Tampa Bay Times Brown sought and then obtained the fraudulent paper back in July ... but a rep for Brown says it's just flat-out not true.
In a statement to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Brown's attorney, Sean Burstyn, said the Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver is, in fact, vaccinated -- and does, in fact, have valid paperwork.
Spoke with Antonio Brown’s attorney Sean Burstyn, who maintains that Brown is, in fact, vaccinated. He said, “Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine.” https://t.co/VogdCgFZ93
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 18, 2021 @RapSheet
"Be like Antonio brown and get the vaccine," Rapoport says Burstyn told him.
Ruiz had told the Times that he had a text message exchange from Brown's girlfriend, Cydney Moreau, that helped prove the case against Brown.
In the messages, which Ruiz says were sent on July 2 -- less than a month before the Bucs opened training camp this summer -- Ruiz says Moreau told him Brown was searching for bogus cards.
"Can you get the covid cards," Ruiz claims Moreau said.

"I can try," Ruiz responded.
"JNJ shot," Ruiz said Moreau added. "Ab said he will give you $500."
Ruiz claims Brown was looking for a Johnson & Johnson version because it's just one shot -- and therefore would be less paperwork and much easier to sneak past NFL officials.
Ruiz says he was unable to get AB the card ... but he claims Brown was able to land fake ones for himself and Moreau a few weeks later nonetheless.
Ruiz says Brown actually showed him the fake papers ... and said Brown's trainer, Alex Guerrero, was the one who ultimately submitted AB's paperwork to the team (though Ruiz says he believes Guerrero did not know it was a fake).
Looks like Bucs WR Antonio Brown is getting closer to a return. Brady threw some routes to him for about 5-minutes before AB headed inside. Looks like the ankle isn’t 💯 yet. #GoBucs pic.twitter.com/dTzBWfzmMB

It should be noted Ruiz has issues with Brown, with the chef claiming the two had a falling out over $10,000 that Ruiz says Brown never paid him.
Reps for the Bucs have yet to comment on the situation.
Brown, meanwhile, did miss Tampa's Week 3 game earlier this season due to COVID ... but recovered and played in the following three games before an ankle injury on Oct. 14 put him on the shelf.
