Laura Prepon is weighing in a little heavier these days after Ben Foster slipped a diamond engagement ring on her ... which made its debut in NYC.

Ben and Laura have only been together, at least publicly, since the summer, but he popped the question anyway. The "Orange Is the New Black" star strategically positioned her bling Tuesday night at the premiere of her new movie, "The Girl on the Train."

It's Laura's first engagement, and Ben's second. He was engaged to Robin Wright, but they called it off in 2015.

Kyle Rudolph's stellar season just got even better -- his wife just gave birth to twins!!!

Jordan Rudolph delivered Andersyn and Finley late Tueday night -- and the Minnesota Vikings tight end is pumped!!

In fact, he was right there by her side for the whole delivery -- which is awesome considering it's the middle of the NFL season ... and Kyle's job has serious travel demands.

But everything worked out -- Rudolph says the kids are "happy and healthy."

"Thank you to everyone including family, friends, teammates, coaches and Vikings fans for all your support and well wishes!"

Sad news ... the NBA player who was called out on Instagram for allegedly cheating on his Playboy Playmate girlfriend ... has been dumped for good.

You remember the story ... 2014 Playmate of the Year Kennedy Summers put Utah Jazz center Jeff Withey on blast back in June when she found out he took someone else on a movie date behind her back.

Somehow, Jeff won her back and they got engaged the following month.

But now, their relationship has hit a roadblock once again -- with Kennedy calling the whole thing off ... citing "many issues." We're told jealousy was a factor.

In fact, Kennedy's rep, Zack Teperman, issued a statement saying social media played a huge role in the split.

"While it has its many pros, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. can also create many issues within a relationship. The negative effects of social media have claimed yet another couple."

Kennedy -- a 3rd year medical student -- has already moved out of the couple's home.

Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jill, are back together, and their first order of business -- dumping the pad Jill bought when they were on the verge of divorce.

Jill swooped the 2 story Pacific Palisades home last summer for $6.1 million -- when she and Patrick were in the throes of the breakup -- and now she's unloaded it for $7.575 mil. The deal closed on Tuesday.

Pretty sweet temporary housing for Jill -- 5 beds, 5 baths with 6,135 square feet of space, and a full extra guest house out back. Not to mention pool and spa, cathedral ceilings and its own library.

Now she's passed on all that luxury -- because of her agents, Brett Lawyer and Barbara Boyle -- to continue life with Dr. McDreamy. The tidy profit doesn't hurt either.

Janice Dickinson can no longer brag about dating a doctor, because the man she's set to marry just surrendered his license ... TMZ has learned.

Psychiatrist Robert Hugh Gerner allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a female patient from 2004 to 2011, and even lived with her during the last 3 years, according to docs filed in the case.

All that was before he started dating Janice, but the bigger problem is breaking the code of ethics. The California Medical Board filed a complaint against Gerner in 2015, and he waved the white flag in June of this year.

It isn't the first time Dickinson's fiancé has been through something like this. According to docs, he was suspended for 60 days in 1994 for sexual misconduct with another patient.

3:00 PM PT -- Toni is now in an L.A. area hospital. She was initially checked out by a doctor in Atlanta, but we're told she flew to L.A. late last week and was admitted for treatment.

A rep confirms Toni was getting treated for lupus, but says she's doing better now, and she's hoping to start rehearsals soon for an upcoming tour.

Toni Braxton was laid up in a hospital and in serious condition stemming from her battle with lupus ... TMZ has learned.

We're told Toni's been hospitalized for 4 days. It's unclear if she checked herself in or if she was transported by ambulance. When Birdman got the news, we're told he hopped on a jet from New York -- where he was on the road with Jacquees -- to be with her.

Toni and Birdman started dating seriously earlier this year.

She went public with her lupus diagnosis in 2010.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's joint baby shower went off without a hitch this weekend ... and a lot's changed for the couple.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's TV career together is looking short and NOT sweet -- season 2 of their show is now hanging by a thread.

Production sources on "Rob & Chyna" tell TMZ ... E! execs haven't ordered a 2nd season yet, and a big part of the problem is they can't get the couple to shoot together. As we've reported, Rob's become a hermit again and we're told that's giving the bosses cold feet. Understandably, they're worried they won't get a full season out of him.

Obviously, a sophomore season could get huge ratings with so much drama, plus a baby and possibly a wedding around the corner ... if Rob's on board, and we're told that's a BIG if right now. Not to mention the season airing now is doing very well.

Our sources say honchos think Chyna's TV gold, and would consider working with her solo on a different show -- but if her fiancé remains MIA ... "Rob & Chyna" will die on the vine.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are clearly life partners through thick and thin ... as they demonstrated Saturday in Malibu.

Our sources say both sides wanted a quick end to what could become a contentious divorce. Jolie set the stage by asking for sole physical custody after Brad lunged and made contact with 15-year-old Maddox on a private jet.

We're told when TMZ broke the story about the incident in the air, Brad felt Angelina's people leaked the story and said he was done negotiating. But our sources say shortly thereafter, negotiations resumed.

We're told there are 4 elements to the settlement discussions:

-- Custody and visitation

-- Temporary support for Angelina and the kids

-- Permanent financial support

-- Property split

We're told the first 2 items are well on their way to resolution, with one big hitch. TMZ broke the story ... the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the jet incident, and any settlement must conform to the eventual DCFS recommendations.

Our sources say the 3rd and 4th elements have not been resolved.

Blac Chyna just pulled the ultimate move to ensure Rob Kardashian won't have any more "bitches" texting him ... blasting out his number to millions of people.

Chyna posted a tweet Thursday night giving the world her soon-to-be hubby/baby daddy's digits -- and by the looks of things -- Rob's in on it. Chyna also posted a video with Rob explaining her move ... saying too many old chicks keep texting Rob, so the best way to get rid of them is to force him to change it.

You'll remember, Rob posted Kylie's number earlier this week after a baby shower planned by his sisters took a nasty turn.

You can hear Rob's phone blowing up with texts in the background of Chyna's video, so it's safe to say he'll be getting it changed VERY quickly.

Talk about a bold, but effective, strategy.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have been fighting for months, partially because he's convinced she's going to leave him for a rapper.

Sources close to the parents-to-be say Rob's never been comfortable with aspects of Chyna's past. For instance, we're told he's brought up her relationships with Tyga and Future. Our source says she had to stop listening to certain songs when Rob was around because he once told her point-blank, "You'd rather date a rapper than a fat Armenian."

As we previously reported, Rob's spiraled back into depression, and has put on weight while they've been on the outs. Their convos these days are tense ... especially if Chyna suggests he work out and eat healthy. He takes it as an insult, but we're told she's concerned about his health.

Suffice to say, the days of couples workout sessions are a thing of the past.

Jim Carrey posed for intimate Valentine's Day photos with his then-girlfriend -- and the timing of the shots prove her marriage was a total sham and a "green card marriage"... according to Carrey's attorney.

TMZ obtained the shots of Jim and Cathriona White from February 14, 2013. They show your standard romantic couple -- dinner, rose petals, kissing. What's odd about the scene is ... Cathriona had married Mark Burton on January 15 ... according to their marriage certificate.

Jim's attorney says this flies in the face of Burton's claim he suffered loss of companionship when White died from an overdose ... which is part of the wrongful death suit.

Carrey's camp and witnesses say Cathriona had asked 5 other men, including Jim, to marry her to avoid deportation to Ireland-- and she didn't even live in the same state as Burton when they wed.

Rob Kardashian has given up on life again, retreating to the confines of his home and gaining all his weight back ... so claim members of his family who are worried his life is now in danger.

Our Kardashian sources say ... Rob and Blac Chyna have split, and he's been living at his own home for nearly 2 months, almost never walking out his front door.

We're told Rob has gained back the 50 pounds he lost shortly after hooking up with Chyna ... again hovering around 300 lbs.

Our sources say it's become a vicious cycle. Rob has lost his motivation because of the weight gain, which has renewed fears his diabetes will spin out of control. You'll recall he was hospitalized months ago after a diabetes scare.

Rob is also MIA for his own show. Chyna -- who's 8 months pregnant -- showed up for an appearance to promote "Rob & Chyna" and he was a no-show. He didn't even stop by the baby shower that was thrown specifically for him a few days ago.

One big problem ... Chyna is the one who pulled Rob out of his depression, but now the relationship has become the big problem -- they fight whenever they're together and it just deepens the problems.

As one source put it, "Rob is slipping back into a dark place." We're told the family is praying he "snaps out of it," and they want to do whatever they can to help him.
