Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter appear to be more than just a fling -- 'cause Kaitlynn's already met one of Miley's parents ... who's driving them around town for a day date.

The singer was spotted out Saturday riding shotgun as her mom, Tish, drove her daughter and Kaitlynn -- who was in the back seat -- to a hot spot in WeHo, where all three of them entered together ... with Miley getting covered up by her security team.

Kaitlynn and Tish weren't so shy -- they filed in right behind Miley without any coverage ... so it's no secret they were all in the same place at the same time.

This is kind of a big step in Miley and Kaitlynn's dynamic -- now that family's in the picture, it makes you think it's a little more serious than just "seeing each other" ... which is how their relationship was described to us in the wake of Miley and Liam's split.

Clearly, Miley's comfortable enough to be introducing Kaitlynn to mama bear ... and Tish is cool enough with the sitch to be accompanying them in public. Unclear if Billy Ray's become acquainted with Kaitlynn just yet, but it's very likely he has.

As we told you ... Kaitlynn stepped out by herself Thursday to appear on a podcast, sans Miley. They landed in L.A. earlier this week, and drove home in the same car -- this after showing off some very public PDA in Italy, where they were vacationing.

If this isn't a clear enough sign that Miley is moving on hard and fast, here's Brody Jenner doubling down on the fact that him and Kaitlynn and him are over, as he touched down in Vegas Saturday -- he's in town DJ'ing at TAO later tonight, following his DTLA gig Friday.

Jamie Foxx is back in the game, or so it seems ... because he was out last night with a stunning woman who was not Katie Holmes.

Jamie and the beautiful lady beelined it out of Bootsy Bellows in WeHo at around 2 AM ... hand in hand. They jumped in his Lambo SUV and were off to parts unknown.

So, the question ... where's Katie Holmes???

Foxx and Holmes seemed tight on vacation in Miami back in December. They've been together since 2013.

Last time we saw them together ... in May at the Met Gala.

Jamie's been in California supporting his daughter, Corinne, in her film debut, "47 Meters Down: Uncaged."

Brody Jenner is back in circulation ... as if the whole "marriage" thing never happened.

Brody was at the 1720 venue in DTLA Friday night, and was super effective in hyping up the crowd. At one point he took the stage with his band, AHZ, and tried his hand at the synthesizer ... at least that's what it looks like.

Brody's new girl, Josie Canseco, was front and center ... hanging with Brody after the show. They left together at around 1:30 AM.

Seems clear ... Kaitlynn Carter's in his rear view, as she's in Miley's full view. So, now Brody's separated from Kaitlynn, Miley's separated from Liam, Brody's moved on and Liam's hanging in Australia with his brother, Chris.

Brody and Josie have been inseparable this week ... hitting up Warwick, house parties, etc.

They met during a 'Hills' press tour in NYC. Frankie Delgado and Brandon Lee made the intro.

Kaitlynn Carter faced the public for the first time since her Italian rendezvous with Miley Cyrus and her smirk said it all ... she's loving the attention.

Brody Jenner's ex and her entourage rolled into The Grove Thursday for an appearance on Whitney Port's live podcast. 'The Hills' star and Kaitlynn covered tons of things but they DID NOT talk about what everyone wants to hear ... Miley and Kaitlynn's hookup.

As we reported ... she spent a helluva weekend in Europe with Miley. They hugged and kissed for the world to see on the same weekend she and Liam Hemsworth announced they were splitting.

They returned to L.A. looking a little spent but their sudden hookup has others scoffing.

Brody's friend and costar, Brandon Thomas Lee, doubled down and told us Thursday night while leaving The Nice Guy ... he thinks Miley and Kaitlynn contrived their makeout sesh to get attention. Earlier this week, he said it's obvious they're just trying to mess with their exes.

As you know by now, Brandon chimed in once Miley and Kaitlynn's pics surfaced and joked with Brody, who came back with his own take. Miley got the last jab in the thread, telling Brody to go take a nap in his truck.

Less than a week later, seems everyone's moved on -- Brody's now hanging with Josie Canseco ... while Miley and Kaitlynn are still hanging out.

If the 'Hills' star initially seemed salty about those pics of his ex, Katilynn Carter, making out with Miley Cyrus at Lake Como, he's clearly gotten over it now.

Funny how having a super hot Victoria's Secret model hanging all over you will do that for ya -- and the timing of their first public outing is interesting.

TMZ broke the story ... Miley and Kaitlynn arrived back in L.A. a few hours earlier on Wednesday. After stepping off a private jet, they drove off together ... Miley behind the wheel and Kaitlynn riding shotgun.

As for Liam -- who's been the most tight-lipped about all the drama out of everyone involved -- he piped up Monday in Australia, telling a pap he didn't wanna talk about it.

It's been over a year since BC and YBN broke up -- they dated for several months in 2018 -- and we're told Jay is now fully entrenched in the friend zone.
