The ex-NFL superstar-turned-ganja advocate is hosting the highly anticipated event in February ... and instead of making it a BYOB party, Ricky's inviting guests to BYOW -- Bring Your Own Weed!!

The exact location of the party is still TBA ... but it'll be going down somewhere in the Hollywood Hills.

The daughter of former Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke allegedly yelled at a woman, "Hurry up, Jew" ... and then bashed her son with a purse.

She was arrested ... and there's video of the crazy aftermath.

The woman who wound up in cuffs is 29-year-old Jacqueline Kent Cooke -- her dad owned the NFL team from '61 to '97. He also owned the Lakers from '65 to '79. The family is rich as hell.

Fast-forward to New Year's Eve when Cooke allegedly got pissed off while waiting for her coat at Caravaggio restaurant in Manhattan ... and yelled at the 77-year-old woman in front of her, "Hurry up, Jew. I got places to be."

The situation escalated and the woman's son -- 52-year-old Matthew Haberkorn told the NY Daily News he followed Cooke and her boyfriend outside to confront them about the comments.

That's when Cooke allegedly struck Haberkorn with her glass purse -- causing 2 lacerations on his head.

The video begins right after the alleged purse strike ... you can hear Matthew say, "She just f*cking hit me!"

Cooke responds, "You called me a f*cking bitch. You called me a c*nt."

Matthew fired back, "You called me a f*cking Jew.”

Cooke then tries to tackle him to the ground. She fails. Cooke's boyfriend yells out, "What are you doing? You're throwing a woman on the floor."

Matthew responds, "I didn't f*cking touch her."

Stephen Jackson says he toked up his ENTIRE CAREER and still balled like a boss -- so when it comes to pulling pot off the league's banned substance list, he's all for it.

"I think they should take it off, why not?" Jackson told TMZ Sports. "I smoked my whole career, had a hell of a career."

To be clear, Stack told us he did NOT hit the ganj before games ... only smoking after them to help chill out.

Chief Keef had a pharmacy of drugs in his system when he was busted for DUI ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Keef was arrested in April in Miami, after cops say they saw him doing a weed deal.

Keef submitted to a urine test, and now we know the results, and they're pretty amazing ... Keef had the following drugs in his system:

-- Morphine
-- Codeine
-- Promethazine
-- THC
-- Hydrocodone
-- Norcodeine
-- Dihydrocodeine
-- Hydromorphone

8 drugs (EIGHT) in his system.

The State's attorney actually dropped the DUI Tuesday, but it was a scheduling issue. The DUI was refiled Wednesday.

BTW ... we learned firsthand how out of it Keef can be ... on "TMZ Live"

Tampa Bay Bucs safety T.J. Ward had 99.9 grams of weed in plain sight when cops entered his apartment back in October ... and that's ultimately why he was arrested Wednesday morning.

TMZ Sports obtained the criminal report from the Oct. 25 incident -- that shows cops responded to Ward's apartment for an active intrusion alarm at 4:45 PM.

When cops arrived, they knocked on the door and announced themselves -- a woman inside the place told the officers to "come in."

Just one problem ... cops say all the weed was in plain view on a coffee table. Oops.

There was apparently no emergency -- the alarm may have been an accident -- but when cops saw the weed, they busted both T.J. and the woman for felony marijuana possession.

We're told, Ward was only formally charged on Dec. 29 -- and that's when a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Wednesday morning, cops went to his apartment and arrested him.

As for the weed, cops say Ward didn't exactly play the "it's not mine" card -- and admitted to occasionally smoking.

Ward has been released from jail on a $2,500 bond.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley had a messed up New Year's Eve -- he and his wife were escorted out of a bar during an NYE scuffle ... with Todd reportedly injuring his hip in the process.

The Pittsburgh Police Dept. have confirmed cops were called to the Tequila Cowboy restaurant just after midnight "for a minor scuffle involving Haley's wife."

"The scuffle was quickly ended. Todd Haley was not involved nor injured. Todd and Christine Haley were escorted out. No injuries. No charges."

But the drama continued OUTSIDE the bar, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport who says Todd was shoved to the ground in a 2nd altercation.

The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed Todd was injured -- but expect him to return to work this week.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Haley's not the first Steelers coach to be involved in a bar fight -- last January, Joey Porter was arrested outside of a Pittsburgh bar after getting into it with a bouncer. He eventually pled guilty to disorderly conduct.

It's a new year, but the same concerning habits seem to continue dogging Lamar Odom, who was seen partying it up in the Dominican Republic to ring in 2018.

Lamar was spotted hitting up a local hot spot on the island nation called Club 59, where he hung out with some girls he met up with there ... one of whom eyewitnesses tell us he kissed at midnight. We're told he smooched the woman in black seen standing by him here.

The problem ... sources tell us Lamar was seen knockin' back beers and tequila shots -- which you can clearly see in these pics. We're told the green bottle he's got in hand is called Presidente, a Spanish beer featured in breweries around the Dominican Republic.

As you'll recall ... he collapsed at a club in L.A. last month. His rep said he was simply dehydrated, but eyewitnesses told us he'd been drinking that night too.

Diddy played the hero at his own New Year's Eve party -- waking up a woman who had apparently passed out drunk ... and yacked on her coat.

The Bad Boy honcho hosted a mega NYE shindig Sunday at his house in Miami, and late into the night ... he came across a woman slumped over on some furniture.

He almost let another guest handle it, but then jumped into the mix himself ... rousing the the lady from unconsciousness and holding her steady as she came to.

Luckily, the rest of the night looked like something out of F. Scott Fitzgerald's imagination. Al Sharpton rolled through, so did DJ Khaled and plenty of other celebs. Yeah ... Gatsby would be proud.

Don't count on the Hollywood sign reading 'Hollyweed' come New Year's Day like it did last year, 'cause the area's gonna be crawling with cops ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us security is getting ramped up big time around the Hollywood sign on New Year's Eve to avoid another prank -- like the one Zach Fernandez pulled earlier this year.

We're told there will be extra officers assigned to patrolling the sign on Dec. 31, with more frequent police drive-bys up the hill as well as occasional helicopter fly-bys.

Sources say the LAPD's Hollywood division will have all hands on deck on NYE, and some of those officers will be tasked with monitoring surveillance cameras around the sign itself.

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call Tim Donaghy made while trying to bring his daughter home in Manatee County, Florida ... featuring 2 full minutes of hammer-wielding chaos.

The ex-NBA ref tells the dispatcher he's on a mission to save his daughter ... who he claims is being held against her will at a house with marijuana and is "stoned out of her mind."

Donaghy describes the scene as hostile, saying the parents at the house are screaming and yelling at him. He warns ... "There's about to be a major altercation."

That's when Tim reveals he's got a hammer on him and is ready to throw down ... or as he puts it, "If anyone comes near me, I will crack him right in his f*cking head."

Donaghy tells the 911 operator it's too dark to describe the people involved, but is adamant he needs help quickly ... before things go south.

Todd Herzog -- the winner of "Survivor: China" in 2007 who has since battled alcoholism -- claims he was supplied with booze and drugs to get him loaded before he appeared on Dr. Phil's show.

In a shocking interview with STAT, Herzog says he was completely sober when he arrived to the TV studio in L.A. in 2013 to do "Dr. Phil" ... which was supposed to be about how his addiction was affecting his family.

Herzog claims he was struggling but was completely sober when he visited his dad's dressing room, but when he was shown his dressing room ... it was completely stocked with vodka and other drinks. Todd believes it was a deliberate move to get him drunk to make for better TV.

He also says someone on the show gave him a Xanax to "calm his nerves" -- which he'd never taken before -- and he was a complete mess when he appeared on the show because of it.

Ricky Williams just handed out the most factual football analysis ever spoken -- accidentally calling himself "the high guy" during a hilarious moment on a live TV broadcast!!

Williams -- who LOOOOVES pot -- was giving his prediction for Missouri quarterback Drew Lock in the Texas Bowl for the Longhorn Network on Wednesday ... saying he'd throw for 320 yards.

That's when Ricky fumbled his words and accidentally referred to himself as the "high guy."

Everybody laughed. One of his co-hosts dropped another pot joke. Good times.

Josie Canseco was TURNED UP on Wednesday ... with the model showing off her butt and talking about getting hammered on the way into a nightclub ... and it's all on video.

Jose's daughter (who's dating rap star Mike Stud) was with some friends outside of Delilah in West Hollywood where Drake was hanging out and they planned on joining the fun.

One problem ... the side door was locked.

Officials in Florida have impounded a truck registered to DeSean Jackson -- after cops found hollow-point bullets and weed inside the vehicle after it crashed into a tree.

But the twist ... the Bucs WR says he wasn't driving the car -- and he's pointing the finger at one of his friends.

Here's the deal ... cops say the Chevy Silverado was involved in a single-car accident on Sunday night -- the truck slammed into a tree.

When officers arrived on scene, the driver had fled -- and cops found 6.3 grams of weed and two .38 caliber hollow-point bullets. The ammo is legal in Florida -- the weed is not.

Cops saw the car was registered to DeSean and called him up. The WR later came down to the scene and told police the name of the friend who had borrowed the ride, according to NFL.com.

Jackson's rep Denise White issued a statement saying, "It was a friend of DeSean's who borrowed his car while he was out of town without his knowledge."

Ex-NFL wide receiver Braylon Edwards says he was just kidding around when he reached over the bar at a Chicago tavern and pulled the beer taps ... in a late-night incident captured on video.

It all went down Friday at Duffy's Tavern and Grille -- you can see the 34-year-old pull 4 beer taps while jawing at the bartender. Unclear what was being said.

The bar manager initially slammed Edwards on social media -- saying Braylon owed the bar $75 for "the product he wasted." The manager also claimed Braylon "threatened my staff and punched the front window as he left."

Edwards tells a different story -- saying he was just goofing around and meant no ill will. He's also adamant he never threatened anyone.

Braylon's rep tells TMZ Sports, "He heard Duffy's was a Michigan fan bar and he wanted to stop by for some holiday cheer. Mr. Edwards spoke with the bar manager and has offered to pay the tab for the taps that were poured during the prank."

Luann de Lesseps played it cool for Christmas -- hanging with family, and keeping a low profile ... which was probably a good idea after her arrest this weekend.

The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star was seen hanging with her fam Monday at a barbecue, where her brother, Michael Nadeau, was firing up the grill. You see Luann here, too, but she's definitely not jumping to be in front of the camera.

As we reported ... Luann was arrested in Palm Beach Sunday for being drunk, disorderly and for allegedly attacking a cop. She was ultimately charged with 5 crimes, 4 of which were felonies.

The Countess did end up apologizing, saying Palm Beach brought back bad memories ... and aspired for a "transformative and hopeful" new year. Good start on the day after.
