Published | Updated

Prodigy's funeral should bring together some huge names -- his fellow legends of hip-hop ... especially from the East Coast scene.

Sources connected to the service tell us Prodigy's family has invited an A-list of rappers who worked with Mobb Deep or came up at the same time ... including Nas, Lil Kim, Big Daddy Kane, Ice-T, Naughty By Nature, Onyx. Of course, Prodigy's partner, Havoc, will also be there.

We're told the private ceremony will go down Thursday at NYC's Frank E. Campbell "Funeral Chapel." A public service for fans to pay final respects will happen there from 2 to 5 PM.

TMZ broke the story ... Prodigy died last week in Las Vegas after a lifelong battle with sickle cell anemia.

Rihanna's New Guy Accepts Guinness Records Challenge But ...

Published | Updated

Rihanna's new beau is certainly up for a new challenge -- whether it's landing a smoking hot chick or lining up hundreds of cars to smash world records.

Hassan Jameel -- the guy RiRi was sucking face with in Spain -- accepted a challenge from Guinness back in 2013 to break the world record for the largest Toyota car parade. Makes sense -- Hassan's the heir to Saudi Arabia's largest Toyota distributor.

But we did a little digging and a rep at Guinness tells TMZ no application's been submitted from Saudi Arabia Toyota since Hassan accepted the challenge. Colombia and South Africa, however, did apply.

The current record holder is Toyota Cyprus ... which paraded 742 whips back in 2015. If you're wondering what the hell a Toyota car parade is ... think your local highway at rush hour, with ONLY Toyotas.

Steam Singer Gary DeCarlo Dead at 75 'Hey Hey Hey Goodbye'

Published | Updated

Gary DeCarlo, the lead singer of Steam, has died after battling cancer ... TMZ has confirmed.

Gary and Steam are, of course, best known for their number one hit, "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye." The song topped the charts in 1969, but went on to become one of the most ubiquitous tracks of all time.

Gary's close friend, Pat Horgan, tells us the singer died in hospice care in Connecticut. He had lung cancer, which spread all over his body. Horgan says Gary's wife was by his side when he passed.

As for his huge hit -- y'know you hear it ALL the time. It's the standard sing-along at sporting events when one team loses, and it's been featured in tons of movies -- most notably, "Remember the Titans."

Most recently, the song was even sung in Congress .... after the House passed the Obamacare repeal bill.

Gary was 75. RIP.

Now everybody sing along ...

Michael Floyd Released from Jail ... After Mean Mug Shot

Published | Updated

Michael Floyd has completed his 1-day jail stint after that whole Kombucha drama, TMZ Sports has confirmed ... and he left officials with a brand new angry mug shot.

The Minnesota Vikings WR turned himself in to authorities in Arizona on Monday to begin his new sentence for violating the "no-alcohol" part of his house arrest stemming from a '16 DUI.

Floyd was booked on Monday -- posed for cop cam -- and was released on Tuesday.

As we previously reported, Floyd was sentenced to 1 day in jail and 5 more days of house arrest for the alcohol violation that Floyd blamed on Kombucha ... a fermented tea which contains a very small amount of alcohol.

Now that Floyd's out, he remains on house arrest for the rest of the week -- and must follow the rules or the judge will throw his ass right back in jail.

Some advice ... NO KOMBUCHA! TIL NEXT WEEK!!!

Ahman Green Allegedly Punched Daughter Over Dirty Dishes

Published | Updated

Ahman Green's 15-yr.-old daughter told police her dad punched her in the face after an argument over doing the dishes -- but Green says that's not the whole truth ... this according to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ Sports.

The ex-GB Packers RB was arrested Monday morning after cops responded to his Wisconsin home at 11:26 AM following a 911 call from a neighbor.

According to the complaint, Ahman's daughter says the 2 had been arguing all day long about chores -- she did not want to wash the dishes -- and tension mounted between her and Ahman.

Things came to a head, according to Green's daughter, when the ex-NFL star grabbed her, threw her to the ground and up against the kitchen cabinets ... before punching her in the face.

When cops arrived, officers noticed her left eye was "swollen, slightly black and blue, and had 2 minor scratches."

But Ahman tells a different story -- sorta.

According to the report, Ahman admits they were arguing, and things got physical. But insists he did not punch her. Instead he says he "slapped her upside the head" -- and her glasses caused the damage to her face.

He also admits he pushed her during the argument.

Basically, Green's defense is he was physically disciplining his child -- not abusing her.

Cops ultimately arrested Ahman -- he's since been charged with felony child abuse and disorderly conduct.

Attempts to reach Green have been unsuccessful.

Jeremy Meeks I'm with Bella On Special Deliveries ... You're Welcome, Amber

Published | Updated

Jeremy Meeks and Postmates sure know how to market well -- they turned a one-off jokey endorsement from Bella Hadid into a full-on campaign with Amber Rose.

Jeremy got hired by Postmates this week -- at least for Wednesday -- to deliver a plate of deviled eggs from the L.A. restaurant Commissary to Amber.

Jeremy's collab with Postmates isn't a coincidence -- our Postmates sources tell us it's a send-up of Bella Hadid's shout-out to the company back in April.

Bella posted a shot of herself with photoshopped deviled eggs, saying ... "Postmates is the best!"

Looks like Postmates is putting all its eggs in one basket.

The buyer -- Diageo, a British alcohol beverage company.

George and Rande agreed to stay with the company, which means they'll rake in even more.

The 2 bros, along with Michael Meldman, created the brand just 4 years ago ... so their return is spectacular.

Rande tells TMZ he's shocked at how much money they made, saying, "We never could have imagined it."

Bella Thorne Big Burger, Tiny Bikini ... In Scott Disick's Backyard

Published | Updated

Bella Thorne might be trying to become the next model for Carl's Jr., and she's definitely back to hanging out with Scott Disick ... based on these photos.

The 19-year-old actress posed in a bikini while getting a grip on a massive burger -- we're not sure why, but we are sure she was doing it in Scott's backyard.

We noticed the setting looked familiar, and that's because it's the same exact view from his Hidden Hills pad.

Bella also posted a shot of her friend in the Lord's pool. Seems like those flowers he sent her last week really worked. For now.

Human Rights Org Wants Rodman Removed from HOF ... Over N. Korea Ties

Published | Updated

A major human rights org is calling for the Basketball Hall of Fame to BOOT Dennis Rodman over his relationship with Kim Jong-un -- saying it's not right to publicly support a "murderer."

The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation -- a non-profit org established by Congress in '94 -- is furious with The Worm over his recent visit to N. Korea and his ongoing relationship with the country's leader.

VOC says KJU has "blood on his hands" for the "murder" of American citizen, Otto Warmbier, and they're demanding Rodman either condemn Jong-un ... or else.

"Dennis Rodman’s complacency and coddling of Kim Jong-un romanticizes and makes light of how dangerous North Korea is to it's own people and Americans who travel there. Removing Rodman from the Hall of Fame will send a message that all Americans are united against this regime."

The VOC has started a petition on Change.org to get Dennis out of the HOF -- and exec. director Marion Smith is putting pressure on the NBA to essentially excommunicate him from the pro basketball community.

We've reached out to Rodman's camp for comment -- so far, no word back.

Gronk Racks Up $100k Tab ... At Casino Turn-Up

Published | Updated

How much does it cost to party with Rob Gronkowski for a night? More than most people make in a year ... 'cause Gronk and Co. racked up a HUGE $100k tab at a casino nightclub over the weekend.

TMZ Sports obtained the itemized receipt for Gronk and his 20-man party crew at Shrine at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut this weekend.

We spoke with a PR rep for the Shrine bar who says the receipt is legit. It's pretty awesome.

In total, Gronk's gang tore through 160 BOTTLES OF CHAMPAGNE including:

- 18 bottles of Ace of Spades Rose: $18,000

- 15 bottles of Dom Perignon Rose: $27,000

There's more ... including 16 bottles of Grey Goose for $10,400, 45 orders of Maker's Mark, 24 shots of Jim Beam Fire, 3 bottles of Don Julio 1942. These guys weren't messin' around.

It's unclear who footed the bill (most likely the casino) ... but it's not like Gronk can't afford it anyway -- dude's gonna make more than $4 mil next year.

It's good to be Gronk.

Scott Disick Time to Smell the Roses, Bella ... Kourtney Is Too!

Published | Updated

Scott Disick is mending burned bridges one flower bouquet at a time, starting with Bella Thorne.

Bella shared a pic of a gorgeous pink rose and peonies bouquet Tuesday night, and our sources say Scott's the mystery guy who ordered 'em.

Amazingly, we're told they're talking again after that Cannes vacation nightmare -- and Scott even invited her to his place once he got back from his international bender. Yes, she accepted.

As for her ex, Gregg Sulkin, with whom she's been spotted recently ... we're told it's not serious.

One note of caution for Bella, or just a huge coincidence -- Kourtney Kardashian posted a pic of flowers she got ... a few hours before Bella got hers, and it's an oddly similar bouquet.

Just sayin' ...

NeNe Leakes I'm Back for Season 10 of 'Housewives' With One Catch ...

Published | Updated

You didn't really think NeNe Leakes was going to let Kim Zolciak hog the spotlight -- she's finally signed on for Season 10 of 'RHOA.'

Sources connected to production tell us NeNe signed on the dotted line Wednesday, ending months of negotiations to bring her and Kim back for the show's 10th anniversary. Kim struck her deal back in April, but NeNe's been holding out.

There's a twist though ... NeNe will only be a part-time cast member. We're told she passed on a full-time gig because she has too many other balls in the air right now such as her clothing line.

Some of the other women on the show have already started shooting the next season, but NeNe's yet to appear.

As you'd expect, NeNe's being totally modest about her new deal, saying ... "All hail the queen for season 10."

Steph's dad Dell also went with a message on his wrist ... while his wife, Ayesha, also got some body art -- though her tat is also secret for now.

Steph's sister and mom were also at the home for the needle sesh. No word if they participated.

NBA Covers Up Flubbed Finals Merch … Warriors in 6?

Published | Updated

Moments after the Warriors beat the Cavs, the official NBA Store was selling a 2017 Finals pin commemorating how Golden State took the series 4 games to 2.

Problem ... considering that's not how it went down.

At first, we thought the 4-2 was a reference to the #42 the team rocked on their jerseys this season in memory of Warriors legend Nate Thurmond who passed away last year.

But today, we noticed the 4-2 pin had been changed -- and now sports a 1-4, a clear reference to the number of games each team won in the Finals.

The whole thing begs the question ... WAS THE NBA IN ON A CONSPIRACY TO EXTEND THE SERIES TO 6 GAMES FOR RATINGS?!?!?!

Probably not ... but the pin -- and the refs -- didn't do the league any favors.

We reached out to the NBA for comment -- no word back.

Golden State Celebration Included Gunfire & Rock-Attacks ... Cops Say

Published | Updated

The Golden State Warriors celebration was marred with violence against cops -- with Oakland PD telling TMZ Sports some of their officers were attacked with rocks and bottles after the game.

A rep for the OPD tells us, "In east Oakland, it was reported 400 to 500 spectators and vehicles participated in sideshow activity on city streets. Officers did report that individuals threw rocks and bottles at them."

"In response, patrol officers implemented strategies where they were able to detain approximately 100 cars. Over 40 citations were issued and over 30 cars were towed."

There's more ... "We did receive sporadic reports throughout the city of celebratory gunfire and fireworks."

At least 1 cop was injured when the officer was rear-ended by a drunk driver.

"The officer was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition. The driver was arrested at the scene."

Overall, cops say there were less than a half-dozen arrests throughout the city. "We are still in the process of determining if they are related to the Warriors celebration."
