Melissa Barrera está redoblando su apoyo a Palestina mientras habla de las fiestas... recordemos que la franquicia "Scream" está en ruinas.

La actriz publicó un mensaje en su Instagram el domingo, justo antes de Navidad, y de nuevo puso el foco en la guerra en Oriente Medio, que se ha cobrado innumerables vidas en este momento, sobre todo porque Israel sigue tratando de cazar a Hamás.

Ella lanzó una caricatura de Santa en su trineo pasando por un carro que transportaba cadáveres envueltos -como comentario político, sin duda- y añadió un pie de foto muy directo.

Dice: "ESPERO QUE ESTA NAVIDAD SE SIENTA... RARA. ESPERO QUE NO PUEDAS IGNORAR EL HECHO DE QUE ESTÁS CELEBRANDO EL NACIMIENTO DE UN NIÑO QUE FUE PERSEGUIDO Y ATACADO Y SUS PADRES OBLIGADOS A HUIR A EGIPTO".

Melissa continúa diciendo que exactamente lo mismo les está ocurriendo a millones de palestinos en esa misma parte del mundo, todos estos años después "son bombardeados indiscriminada e implacablemente". Termina su mensaje con un simple y contundente "FELIZ NAVIDAD".

Por supuesto, su posición no ha cambiado, pero el hecho de que esté hablando en este momento es curioso, sobre todo porque el director que iba a dirigir la nueva película "Scream" de la que fue despedida por sus puntos de vista pro-Palestina, acaba de anunciar que está dejando el proyecto también.

Christopher Landon dio la noticia el sábado, diciendo que abandonó "Scream 7" hace semanas sin explicar por qué. Lo que dijo, sin embargo, fue revelador... "Fue un trabajo de ensueño que se convirtió en una pesadilla. Y mi corazón se rompió por todos los involucrados. Por todos". There's a race in Spain where thousands of people gather each year to run a few miles dressed like Old Saint Nick -- and 2023 was no different ... but it was wild to see.

The 11th annual Carrera de Papá Noel in Madrid went down Sunday, with upwards of 7,500 attendees getting set at the starting line near the Plaza de Colon ... and were off to the races when the gun went off. And yes, just about everyone's dressed like a freaking Santa Claus.

While there were mostly red and white suits out there, you can find some variety if you look hard enough ... including some elf costumes and even some other random ones (dinosaur.)

Some walked, others jogged ... and a handful sprinted. The whole thing's for charity anyway -- it benefits the Spanish Red Cross -- so there's no real competition at the end of the day.

Now, that's not to say there aren't prizes for those who finish first -- because there are. The first three males and females get a little something ... and so do the first 3 kids under age 12. They go for about 3 miles, and the route takes 'em along Paseo de la Castellana.

The money raised this year, specifically, is going toward training up young people in the Red Cross program ... and to develop jobs for them as well. Never too early to start giving back!

Melissa Barrera is doubling down in her support of Palestine while speaking on the holidays -- and the timing is interesting ... considering the 'Scream' franchise is in shambles.

The actress posted a message to her Instagram Sunday, just ahead of Christmas, and it again put a spotlight on the war going on in the Middle East ... which has claimed countless lives at this point, especially as Israel continues to try and hunt down Hamas.

She threw up a cartoon of Santa on his sleigh passing by a cart carrying dead/wrapped-up bodies -- as political commentary, no doubt -- and she added a very in-your-face caption.

It reads, in part ... "I HOPE THIS CHRISTMAS FEELS... WEIRD. I HOPE YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE FACT THAT YOU'RE CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF A CHILD WHO WAS PERSECUTED AND TARGETED AND HIS PARENTS FORCED TO FLEE OT EGYPT."

Melissa goes on to say the exact same thing is happening to millions of Palestinians in that same part of the world all these years later ... all while "they are indiscriminately and relentlessly bombed." She ends her message with a simple and blunt "MERRY XMAS."

Of course, her position hasn't changed ... but the fact she's speaking right now is curious, especially since the director who was attached to the new 'Scream' movie she was fired from over her pro-Palestine views *just* announced that he's leaving the project as well.

Christopher Landon broke the news Saturday, saying he exited 'Scream 7' weeks ago without explaining why. What he did say, though, was telling ... writing, "It was a dream job that turned into a nightmare. And my heart did break for everyone involved. Everyone." He added, "I hope Wes’ legacy thrives and lifts above the din of a divided world."

Sounds like he might've bounced over this whole Israel-Palestine issue too -- and many suspect Jenna Ortega did as well ... even though other unrelated reasons were cited.

Tori Spelling might've found new love for Christmas -- 'cause she was hanging out with a mystery stud during last-minute shopping ... and he seems to be cool with her kid too.

The '90210' star was out at a mall just outside of L.A. Friday, and she was rolling with her teenage daughter, Stella, whom she shares with estranged husband Dean McDermott. The two of them had company here ... some middle-aged dude who was part of the pack.

He was seen chatting up Tori and Stella inside the building, especially TS ... staring deep into her eyes. Eventually, he left with them too -- and drove away with Tori riding passenger.

No word on who this guy is, or what his relationship to Tori might be -- there's no sign of PDA here or anything, so it could just be a pal or maybe even a relative. Still, considering everything going on with her these days ... it's interesting to see a new face in the mix.

Remember, Tori just recently talked about experiencing her first "single mom Christmas" ... this in the wake of her splitting with Dean earlier this year. Now, she's not so alone, it seems.

The fact Stella was with them for this outing also speaks to a familiarity that might explain something -- namely, this guy might not be a romantic partner ... 'cause you'd figure Mama Bear wouldn't bring around a fresh fella like this without some groundwork being laid first.

Megan Thee Stallion is closing out the year shaking what her mama gave her -- but she's on theme with it ... which is a nice touch. 🤌

The rapper went on IG Live Saturday and was dressed in a lovely little onesie that showed off all her best angles and curves -- and while she split her time between talking to her audience and doing some beauty work ... she also found time to do some twerking.

We've seen it all before, of course -- and it's great every time -- but here ... her little dance number is very Christmas-y, and we gotta say ... it's kinda making us feel naughty watching!

Anyhoo, there was more that was addressed during the live stream ... including what sure sounds like a shot at Spotify users. MTS says the streaming service is ... well, for kids. Ya gotta wonder if there's a subliminal barb in that somewhere ... something tells us there is.

At any rate, good to see Meg bringing us holiday cheer and an eyeful of body-ody-ody. 👀

El papel de estrella invitada de Donald Trump en "Mi pobre angelito: Perdido en Nueva York" no fue un guiño a su talento actoral, resulta que estaba exigiendo el papel a cambio de permitir la filmación en su hotel.

Director Chris Columbus le dijo a Business Insider cómo Trump trazó una línea en la arena al exigir una aparición en la película a cambio de permitirles filmar en el Plaza.

Columbus dijo: "Como la mayoría de los lugares en Nueva York, puedes pagar una cuota que te permite rodar en ese lugar. Nos pusimos en contacto con el Hotel Plaza, propiedad de Trump en aquel momento, porque queríamos rodar en el vestíbulo ya que no podíamos reconstruir The Plaza en un plató".

Chris dijo que el futuro Presidente fue tajante... "Trump dijo que de acuerdo. Pagamos la cuota, pero también dijo: 'La única forma en que puedes usar el Plaza es si estoy en la película'".

Parece que Columbus pensó que Trump sería una molestia para el público, pero fue todo lo contrario: "Cuando la proyectamos por primera vez ocurrió lo más extraño: La gente aplaudió cuando Trump apareció en pantalla. Así que le dije a mi editor: 'Déjalo en la película. Es un momento para el público'. Pero se coló a la fuerza en la película".

Donald Trump's guest starring role in "Home Alone: Lost in New York" was not a nod to his talent ... turns out he was demanding the role in return for allowing filming at his hotel.

Director Chris Columbus told Business Insider how Trump drew a line in the sand -- you wanna shoot at The Plaza, then put me in your movie.

Columbus said, “Like most locations in New York City, you just pay a fee and you are allowed to shoot in that location. We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn’t rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage."

Chris said the future President was blunt ... “Trump said OK. We paid the fee, but he also said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.'”

Now here's the thing. It seems Columbus thought Trump would be an annoyance to audiences, but it was the opposite ... "When we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, 'Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.' But he did bully his way into the movie.”

Britney Spears has yet to get on the horn and ring up her old man to make plans for Christmas -- and at this point ... it almost feels like a family reunion ain't happening.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Jamie Spears hasn't heard from Britney whatsoever in recent days, this despite the fact that it seemed like a coming-together was possibly imminent in time for the holidays.

Alas, we're told it's been radio silence from Britney's end ... although our sources say Jamie is planning on spending Christmas with his other daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears in Louisiana.

As far as where Britney might be, or what she'll end up doing ... it's not totally clear. We know her mother, Lynne, was hopeful her daughter might fly out and spend this weekend with her -- but again, there's no indication that's happening.

It's a bit of a downer to hear -- remember, after we broke the story that Jamie had his leg amputated ... Britney posted a photo of the two of them, seemingly signaling she'd come around and make amends.

It was just a few weeks ago that Britney and Lynne were together here in SoCal -- for Brit's 42nd birthday, no less -- but that sweet reconciliation appears to have been short-lived.

Like we said, no idea on where Britney might be at the moment -- but she did just signal on social media she's still here in California ... 'cause she posted a video of herself posing in a white outfit, with a long caption recounting a story about something she saw at the gym.

On its face, it seems like she's rolling solo for Xmas ... which, if true, is a bit of a shame.

We know for a fact people in her family would love to see her, but for now ... the clock is ticking on being able to make that a reality. Granted there are still a couple days left.

"¡Boo! ¡Eres un pésimo Santa!" Gritó Millen mientras lanzaba sus bolas a Peyton.

The Hall of Fame QB became the sitting duck for the holiday episode of "Peyton's Places" show on ESPN, where he's riding a firetruck inside the Lincoln Financial Field ahead of the Eagles' Christmas game.

Watters -- who played running back for Philly for two seasons -- and Millen, a former linebacker and executive in the NFL, are in the stands booing Manning ... and start hitting him with snowballs.

"Boo!! You're a lousy Santa Claus!" Millen yelled while throwing bombers at Peyton.

Of course, this is a remake of the 1968 Vikings vs. Eagles game on Christmas ... where the Philly fans started throwing snowballs at Santa Claus during the halftime show due to their team's poor performance and season.

The guy who dressed up as Santa, then 20-year-old Frank Olivo, says he was hit with more than 100 snowballs during his appearance.

Mind you, Olivo was picked out from the stands to play the role by the Eagles entertainer director, since a snowstorm the previous night kept the original Santa actor from getting to the game.

And, 11 years later the "Top Gun: Maverick" star recently showed some chest and a charming smile at the premiere of his latest starring role In "Anyone But You" with Sydney Sweeney.

Just last month, Glen stripped down for "Men's Health" magazine and was lookin' mighty fine ... 'tis the season!

Talking to TMZ at LAX, he says his focus is making Xmas special for his 3 kids he shares with Jacky ... prioritizing a lot of prayin' during their family time together.

He says that as long as you stay God-fearin' and obedient, everything's gonna be A-OK -- even through the pain and agony.

DC certainly went through it this year ... with TMZ revealing his partner Jacky had died as a result of complications from a BBL in May.

Tragedy struck once again in October when he announced his sister had passed away ... going on to place his trust in the higher power again, writing on IG: "GOD is love and love will always overcome adversity."

Despite his personal setbacks, he's adamant on paying things forward ... telling us he's giving back to the community this year to "spread love and show people there's hope."

Thankfully, there have also been some celebratory moments for DC this year ... taking on the opportunity to star alongside Eddie Murphy for the new Netflix Xmas movie, "Candy Cane Lane."

The stars are stepping out of their usual Hollywood spotlight ... shining even brighter under their festive Christmas Trees ... and they sure are looking tree-mendous!

Standing tall and havin' a ball, a plentiful of your top celebs -- like Terry Crews, Lizzo and Corinne Olympios -- added their special touch to their trees with divine decorations, bringing light and life to their homes. And, of course, they posed with glee!

No "Dilemma" for Kelly Rowland this Christmas ... she and her sweet kiddo spread the holiday love and showed the BEST gift around the tree: a happy fam all wrapped up in each other!

And topping things off ... Hoda Kotb put the finishing touches on her tree -- assisting her two daughters with their tree-topper!
