Johnny Manziel is finally free and clear of his domestic violence charge in Texas ... almost 2 years after the alleged assault went down.

Manziel's then-GF, Colleen Crowley, told cops JM hit her several times after a day of boozin' in January 2016. He was indicted for misdemeanor assault.

JM struck a deal with prosecutors in Dallas last December ... agreeing to take an anger management course and keep his nose clean -- in addition to other terms -- in exchange for having the charge dropped.

In court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, the Dallas District Attorney asked the judge to dismiss the case ... and he signed off.

Terrell Owens is absolutely right when he says Carson Wentz is better than Donovan McNabb ... and that's not us saying it, it's another one of McNabb's former targets, ex-Eagles wideout Freddie Mitchell.

You might remember, we got T.O. out earlier this month and asked him who he'd take between the two guys and he didn't hesitate to say Wentz.

Mitchell was on that 2004 Eagles Super Bowl team with Owens, and when we asked who he'd pick to win one game with everything on the line ... McNabb got the short end again.

"I gotta have Carson."

Remember, Mitchell didn't have the personal issues with McNabb that Owens did, so his choice -- taking the 2nd year Wentz over McNabb -- he says is all about football.

Still though, cold world.

Colin Kaepernick ain't on an NFL roster, but he'll be taking the field against the Texans this Sunday ... courtesy of Tennessee Titans star Rishard Matthews' cleats!!

The 28-year-old receiver revealed his custom kicks for the NFL's "My Cause, My Cleats" campaign this weekend ... which allows players to wear any creative design supporting a charity of their choice on their cleats during the game.

Matthews explained his decision to support Kaep's Know Your Rights Camp ... saying "I don't have a foundation so I have chosen to support my brother (Colin Kaepernick's) foundation."

"He has paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to bring true everyday issues to light."

Eric Reid -- the first player to kneel with Colin Kaepernick -- says Malcolm Jenkins and Anquan Boldin are playing members of their Players Coalition ... privately negotiating with NFL execs on the league's proposed $100 million donation for social justice reform.

As a result, Reid says he's out ... and possibly doing more work with Kaepernick.

"When we agreed to be a part of the Players Coalition, we were under the impression that it would be our organization. We were under the impression that we would all have equal say," Reid told ESPN.com.

"But we've come to find out that it's actually Malcolm and Anquan's organization. Nobody else really has a stake in the organization. Malcolm actually wants us to -- he calls it invest, I call it donate -- to the company to pay salaries for his staff. But again, we would have no equity."

Reid says he and other members aren't happy with how only Jenkins and Boldin have consulted with commissioner Roger Goodell on how the money should be allocated ... and don't get why players have to green-light the proposal now when NFL owners have 'til March to decide.

So, while the coalition members are expected to discuss the proposal tonight ... it appears Reid is turning his attention to Kaep -- who's working on his own community initiatives.

Looks like Eli Manning's gonna be alright if he decides to hang it up ... 'cause he's already got a job offer from one of the NFL's biggest networks!

We got CBS honcho Les Moonves out at Craig's with Al Michaels ... and when we asked about Eli going the Tony Romo route, Les was all about it.

"We'd take him in a second," Moonves told TMZ Sports.

Al also gave the Giants QB a ringing endorsement -- saying Manning "absolutely" has it in him to slide over to the broadcast booth.

The Oakland Raiders' "aggressive strength and agility training programs" turned CB Sean Smith into an attacking machine ... so claims the man alleging Sean brutally attacked him.

Christopher Woods is suing the Raiders and Smith after he says the NFL star brutally attacked him on July 4 ... and Sean's "size, strength and certain offensive techniques" was his weapon.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Sean was charged with felony assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury. But in new docs, we now know what led to the alleged assault.

Woods says he was out with Sean and his sister, Rayna, whom Woods had been dating for about 2 years. Woods says Sean was pounding shots of tequila ... and ultimately became violent after getting into a heated argument with his GF.

Woods says, out of nowhere and without provocation, Sean slugged him in the head and knocked him unconscious. Sean left but later returned violently and repeatedly stomped on Woods' face ... fracturing it in 5 different places and causing brain damage.

Woods says he suffered hematomas to the left and right side of his head and required a metal plate and screws to repair the facial fractures.

Imagine being a Packers fan in Wisconsin and having to bust one of the players for weed ... sucks, right!?

That's exactly what happened to a cop in Appleton, WI on Sept. 2 when she pulled over tight end Lance Kendricks, who was on the way home from a Wisconsin Badgers football game.

After Kendricks' car was stopped for going 81 in a 70, the officer immediately noticed the smell of weed and reports back to her partner ... saying, "You're not gonna wanna do this ... he's a Packers player."

Ayo & Teo saw Tony Romo bust out their signature "Rollie" dance move with Teyana Taylor ... and good news -- THEY DIDN'T HATE IT!

The rap duo created the move for their song, "Rolex" -- and it blew up -- with huge stars like Cam Newton using it in his dance repertoire.

So, when we saw the guys at LAX, we had to ask them to grade Romo's "Rollie" -- which the QB used on the set of his new Google Mini commercial.

Jaleel White's take on the Michael Crabtree vs. Aqib Talib chain-snatching fight might be the best take:

White continued, "I would have to do that on GP (general principle). I wouldn't even want to but because I knew my daughter would see the footage, I would have to do it."

Of course, Crabtree subscribes to the same set of principles ... he got violent with Talib during the Raiders vs. Broncos game on Sunday after getting his chain snatched IN JANUARY, too.

Still, worst chain snatching ever might still be that Steve Francis incident. Brutal.

Colin Kaepernick has been out of a job for nearly a year, but his resume still looks appealing ... to Hollywood!

A well-known casting director posted on a message board for managers and agents last week, asking for someone representing the former NFL quarterback to contact her.

The casting director is currently working on a TV pilot and -- more notably -- the Pepsi commercial-inspired movie "Uncle Drew" starring Kyrie Irving, Lil Rel Howery, Nick Kroll and sports legends like Shaq, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and Lisa Leslie.

It's unclear the role for which the casting director is eyeing Kaepernick, but a cameo in "Uncle Drew" seems like a good fit. If it works out ... it would be Colin's first acting gig.

It's no surprise the ex-NFL star's a hot Hollywood commodity despite not playing this season -- he's still been in the limelight as an activist, philanthropist, and President Trump talking point.

Wisconsin State Patrol tells us Kendricks was not actually cited for marijuana during the stop. WSP says marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia charges have been "referred to the Outagamie County DA’s Office" who will decide whether to charge Kendricks.

Cops tell us they confiscated weed from LK's vehicle, however, he left the scene without a citation.

Green Bay Packers tight end Lance Kendricks was cited for having weed in his car back in September after getting pulled over for speeding ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Here's what we know ... Kendricks was clocked going 81 in a 70 mph zone when he was on his way home from the Wisconsin Badgers football game on Sept. 2. According to the police report, the cop "could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle."

Cops say Kendricks apologized for the smell ... and after initially denying there were any drugs in the car, he later 'fessed up to having weed in the glove box.

Cops say they say also found a Louis Vuitton bag with a black glass container with a "green leafy substance," 2 packs of rolling papers, and a blue grinder.

Kendricks is facing 2 charges for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and was given a warning for speeding. The case is now in the hands of the Outagamie County District Attorney.

He isn't the first Packers player to have legal trouble fly under the radar ... running back Aaron Jones was arrested on October 1, which wasn't reported until this week.

Before Bre Tiesi said "yes" to Johnny Manziel ... she was engaged to another man -- and the backstory involves everything from money to diamonds to the FBI.

Bre's ex-fiance is Chris Anzalone -- who was a BALLER in Southern California until he was arrested and convicted for running a $16 million investment fraud scheme.

But before he was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, Anzalone showered Bre in riches -- including cars, designer purses, Rolex watches and a 10-carat diamond engagement ring.

Their relationship went sour when Chris was locked up -- and Anzalone claims Bre embezzled more than $1.3 MILLION in cash and expensive property.

Chris has lawyered up and demanded his stuff back -- but there's one problem ... Bre says he's lying and she doesn't have it anymore.

TMZ Sports spoke with Bre's attorney who says Tiesi met with FBI agents and surrendered every item she was asked to give up ... items the feds claim she received from Anzalone's ill-gotten fortune.

Bre says none of it was embezzled -- everything she had was given to her as a gift.

Bre's lawyers also provided documents to TMZ Sports showing a list of the surrendered items which include Louis Vuitton backpacks, designer luggage, watches and rings.

Bre's attorneys say Anzalone also accused Tiesi of letting Manziel propose to her with the ring HE used back in the day. But Bre's team provided receipts showing Johnny's ring was purchased in February.

Anzalone has fired off legal letters to Bre's team threatening a lawsuit. Bre's lawyers deny any wrongdoing and have this message for Anzalone ... BRING IT ON.

Guess Bre has a thing for bad boys ...

One of Josh Gordon's ex-teammates says the troubled NFL star is on track for a HUGE comeback ... telling TMZ Sports he knows the Browns receiver is as focused as ever on football.

We spoke with N.Y. Jets star Buster Skrine -- he played with Gordon on the Browns -- who says he's pulling for his old friend to put his past behind him and ball out on the field.

"I asked him to come to New York (this summer), he was down in Florida training. He was like, 'Man, I'm focused. Blase, blase,' so I knew it was a complete turnaround for him," Skrine says.

And get this -- Skrine was out donating 250 turkeys and 200 pounds of veggies for Thanksgiving with his foundation when we ran into him.

Imagine finding out Philadelphia Eagles superstar Fletcher Cox nailed your smokin' hot wife and wanted her to have his baby.

Pretty cool if you're a die-hard Eagles fan ... not cool if you're North Carolina resident Joshua Jeffords.

Josh claims he's got hardcore proof that the 6'4", 310 pound defensive tackle seduced and banged his wife behind his back while she was on a work trip to Pennsylvania back in April.

Jeffords claims Cox continued the relationship via text messages -- which Josh now has -- and he says it's smoking gun proof that Cox is liable for "alienation of affection" ... which you can sue for in N.C.

According to North Carolina state law, to win an A.O.A. case, one must prove 3 things ...

1) You and and your spouse had a genuine love and affection

2) The love and affection was alienated and destroyed

3) Malicious acts of a 3rd party produced the alienation of affection. Malicious is presumed if there's proof of sexual intercourse.

In his lawsuit, filed on Nov. 22, Jeffords claims Cox sent her a photo of his penis on Snapchat and followed up with text messages telling her he wanted to knock her up.

He provided copies of the alleged texts that read, "I want to get you pregnant" and "I'm dead ass serious." Another text says, "You ain't gone be no damn single mom."

Jeffords says his marriage has completely crumbled -- his wife has blocked him on Instagram -- and he blames Fletcher for everything.

He's suing Fletcher for more than $25,000.

TMZ Sports has obtained video of Green Bay Packers rookie Aaron Jones' weed arrest ... showing the running back admitting he toked up before breakfast earlier that day.

Jones was initially pulled over around noon on October 1 for going 79 mph in a 55 when the officer smelled a strong odor and asked ...

"You gonna be straight with me or not gonna be straight with me? Weed."

Jones replied "I was smoking it."

"Yeahhh, there you go. I appreciate the honesty," the cop said.

Jones was then asked to take a field sobriety test ... which he bombed. Jones was cuffed and taken to a hospital for blood work.

Terry Glenn's son says Tom Brady's touching tribute to his father meant the world to him ... telling TMZ Sports he got chills when he read the quarterback's message about the late NFL star.

We spoke with Terry Glenn Jr. about the outpouring of kind words he's received since his dad's fatal car accident Monday morning ... and he says Brady's words were "more than special" knowing his first career TD pass went to Glenn.

The 21-year-old says he'll always remember how his dad vowed to give him a better childhood than he had ... and how hard he worked to make sure he was taken care of.

As for Glenn's 83 Kids Foundation for foster children ... Terry Jr. revealed he was actually scheduled to travel to Texas to help work with his dad on Monday ... but says he's still committed to continuing his charitable cause.
