CNN Anchor John King Reveals Secret Struggles of M.S.
CNN anchor John King spontaneously revealed a secret he's been keeping for 13 years ... that he has Multiple Sclerosis ... and the way he's powered through it all is stunning.
King appeared on CNN Wednesday and explained he did not calculate the revelation ... rather, he was incensed when some anti-vaxxers used Colin Powell's COVID-related death as ammunition in the bogus argument that vaccines don't work.
King said, "I do not understand people who get up in the morning, who are vaccinated themselves, and willingly lie to get attention, to get clickbait, to get whatever. I do not understand it."
King went on to describe the challenges he's faced over the years ... numbness in his legs, the inability to grasp objects, falling down stairs ... yet all the while, his colleagues and viewers didn't have a clue.
Particularly shocking was King's high-profile coverage on 2020 election night, when he stood at an electronic board for hours analyzing voter turnout. He said that was an especially difficult night, yet for most people watching it was impossible to tell.
It's a moving interview ... King says he's figured out a way to focus, even when brain fog or other symptoms kick in. He says the journey has made him stronger.

Adrian Holmes -- the guy playing Uncle Phil in the new 'Fresh Prince' reboot -- was involved in a car accident that resulted in fatal injuries for a man who was laying in the middle of the freeway.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Holmes was traveling southbound Monday on the 110 freeway just north of Sunset Boulevard in downtown L.A. -- when, at around 7:35 PM, we're told he struck an unidentified man who was lying down in his lane.
Our sources say Holmes was unable to avoid hitting the man ... and neither could the person driving right behind him -- who also made contact with the individual ... whose body was pushed into the adjacent lane ... and was hit by a 3rd car. For those outside L.A., the 110 is a very busy freeway.
The John Doe suffered fatal injuries, and cops are investigating what may have led to him being out there in the first place.
For now, our sources say ... drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been a factor for all the drivers involved -- unclear if that applies to the victim, though.
Like we said, Holmes is playing the Fresh Prince's famed uncle from the original sitcom -- only this time, there's no Will ... because the reimagined version of 'FP' is a drama, with all new actors.
The new series -- which got picked up for 2 seasons by Peacock -- is based on a viral short film trailer that Will liked so much, he signed on as an executive producer.

Legendary college hoops broadcaster Dick Vitale just revealed he has cancer again ... just months after beating another form of the disease in August.
"For the second time in just a few months, I've been diagnosed with a form of cancer," Dickie V said on Monday.
"As a result of some symptoms I've had in recent weeks, I've been undergoing tests and doctors have now confirmed it's lymphoma."
The 82-year-old says medical professionals don't believe the lymphoma is related to the skin cancer he had multiple surgeries on in August.

Nick Saban Shows Gnarly Bruise From Texas A&M Game ... Using It As A Reminder
It's been more than a week since Texas A&M football fans rushed the field after beating Alabama ... but Nick Saban still has the scars bruises to prove it.
Of course, Aggies backers couldn't resist storming onto the gridiron after A&M upset the #1-ranked Crimson Tide on Oct. 9 ... winning 41-38.
Bama's head coach couldn't escape the sea of fans unscathed ... 'cause on Monday, he showed off a baseball-sized mark during a press conference with reporters.

But of course, Saban was able to spin the mark into a GOOD thing ... saying, "I can always just look at that as a reminder to what it feels like to be in that situation and motivate myself to try and do a better job with our players."
BTW, Saban's not the only coach facing off with fans -- Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin had his share of mayhem this weekend with trash (and even a golf ball) being thrown at him after the game against the Tennessee Volunteers.

"Hopefully, institution and fans will always do that in a positive way."

Robert Durst On Ventilator with COVID-19 ... After Getting Life in Prison
-
Breaking News

Robert Durst is starting out his life imprisonment on a hospital bed -- the guy has COVID-19, and is hooked up to a machine to help him survive ... so says his lawyer.
Attorney Dick DeGuerin told several media outlets Saturday that Durst has been placed on a ventilator over the past couple days after contracting the virus -- but didn't have much of an update beyond that, adding the legal team hadn't heard from doctors yet.
He did say that Durst looked terrible on Thursday -- when he was sentenced to life in prison after recently being found guilty for murder -- noting it was the "worst I've ever seen him." DeGuerin added Durst was having difficulty breathing and speaking that day.
Durst sat quiet and still during his sentencing hearing, looking incredibly frail in a wheelchair ... while wearing a face mask. It's unclear if he'd tested positive before or after the hearing.
As we reported ... Durst's fate is to live out his remaining years behind bars, without the possibility of parole. He was found guilty of murdering his close friend, Susan Berman, back in 2000. While he was never charged for the crime, many believe she was set to come forward with info linking Durst to the disappearance of his wife, Kathy, whom vanished in the '80s.
Durst's story was covered extensively in the HBO docuseries 'The Jinx' during which he's believed to have confessed to killing both Kathy and Susan after being heard on a hot mic.
Durst is 78 years old, and his health was already in decline before this COVID diagnosis.

Vince Neil was on his game Friday night during a concert ... UNTIL he tumbled off the stage and ended up in an ambulance.
Vince was performing at the Monster on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with his band -- not Mötley Crüe, which he hasn't performed with since 2015.
He was a few songs into his set when he stepped to the edge of the stage, and then suddenly tumbled 4 feet onto the cement. Turns out there was a small gap between the speaker and the stage that Vince didn't see and he fell through the crevice onto the floor.
He was clearly in pain ... his crew thought he had broken some ribs. His roadie and a security guy helped him get to his feet, and Vince limped away.
The 60-year-old was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Doctors took X-rays, but we don't know the results. The good news -- he's alert and should be ok.
BTW ... in classic rock fashion, the band kept playing after the fall, with guitarist, Jeff Blando, taking over lead vocal duties.
We're told Vince, who has battled with alcohol addiction, had not been drinking. It was just an accident.
He's struggled on stage in recent years ... in May he pulled the plug on a show after his voice gave out. He's also been criticized for underwhelming solo performances, but he was doing well Friday night until the accident.

It was back in May when Armie checked into rehab for drug, alcohol and sex addiction treatment. The move came after several months of women leveling sexual abuse allegations against the actor.
He and his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, announced they were splitting in July 2020, but their divorce has not yet been finalized.
Hammer hasn't been seen publicly since checking in for treatment, but at one time called the allegations "bulls*** claims" and "vicious and spurious online attacks against me."
