A Boogie Has Don Q's Back ... After Gun & Weed Bust

Published | Updated

Rapper Don Q is one lucky son of a gun -- one day after getting busted for weapons and drugs, he strolled outta jail, much to the delight of his famous friend.

Q was arrested Thursday for felony possession of a .22 caliber Beretta and unlawful possession of a bag of weed. Law enforcement sources tell us cops found the pot in his underwear during a strip search.

Don drew a nice crowd of supporters -- including A Boogie -- during his arraignment, and they all must've left happy. He was released without bail, and is due back in court in February.

His attorney, Stacey Richman, tells us there was NO reason for the initial traffic stop, or for cops to search Q and his friends.

Samuel L. Jackson Guy Claims the Actor's His Uncle In Crazy LAX Weapons Bust

Published | Updated

Samuel L. Jackson's name was invoked during a crazy arrest at LAX this weekend, where cops say weapons were found on a guy claiming SLJ's his uncle.

An unidentified man got busted at the airport Sunday for carrying what police say were multiple weapons, including knives, a long piece of rebar and a handful of tools.

During the arrest, you can hear him say, "My uncle's Samuel Jackson. Samuel L. Jackson!" It's unclear what, if any, relation the actor might have been to him.

Law enforcement sources tell us police were alerted to a suspicious man hanging around the airport with a bow and arrow. When cops approached, we're told he booked it which set off a brief chase ... which ended when cops tazed him and took him down.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance, apparently having suffered injuries during the arrest. He was booked for possession of a dagger and resisting arrest.

As for Samuel ... he's probably tired of these motherf****** mentions.

Reports: Lionel Messi's Brother Gun Found in Blood-Soaked Boat ... Cops on Manhunt

Published | Updated

The older brother of soccer mega-star Lionel Messi is a wanted man in Argentina after cops discovered a gun in his blood-soaked boat ... according to reports.

Matias Messi allegedly told a security guard at the Fighiera fishing club that he cut his face by colliding with a sandbar ... but after police discovered a .380 handgun inside Matias' motorboat, they tried (and failed) to track him down for questioning.

The Messi family is pissed over all the accusations -- issuing a statement today saying Matias was NOT carrying a gun on the boat ... and has been MIA because he's at the hospital prepping for surgery.

If the gun is found to be Matias' ... he could be in serious trouble. Back in 2008, he was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm without a permit ... and in 2015, he was detained for again failing to provide documentation for his gun.

NECESSARY ADJUSTMENT

Keith David says the sad fact is places of worship have to increase security ... even if it means checking everyone at the door.

We got the "Greenleaf" star -- he plays Bishop Greenleef -- at LAX where he said checking worshipers just seems necessary now in the wake the mass shooting in Sutherland Springs ... at least until Congress passes some serious gun control legislation.

The way Keith sees it ... until mentally ill people are forbidden from owning guns, preachers and congregations need to help God help them.

F*** YOUR THOUGHTS & PRAYERS!

Vic Mensa isn't here for politicians' "thoughts and prayers" after another mass shooting in America ... 'cause he says they're empty and meaningless.

We got the Chicago rapper leaving Poppy in WeHo Monday night, and he made an impassioned plea for Americans to give up assault weapons in the wake of the Texas massacre.

Mind you, Vic's a gun owner himself -- but it's a handgun, and he firmly believes there's no reason for any heavier weaponry on the streets of America. He also says history backs him up on that.

As for Republicans offering condolences without enacting policy change -- Vic's got some thoughts on that, too.

Boosie Concert Shootings Drone Vid Shows Shooter Open Fire

Published | Updated

One of the multiple shootings at a Boosie concert was dramatically captured by a drone over the event, and TMZ has obtained the footage.

The aerial video shows concertgoers at the back of Boosie's show in Gardena Friday night -- and right in the middle of the crowd you see a man in a blue jacket raise his arm to start shooting. The shots instantly sent everyone running. It's unclear what, if anything, provoked the shooter.

It looks and sounds like someone returned fire in this incident. In the video there appear to be multiple people fleeing the scene with weapons in hand.

There was at least one other shooting during the concert. We broke the story ... 2 people suffered gunshot wounds, and several others had varying injuries.

So far, no one's been arrested.

Dwight Yoakam Marilyn's Gun Prop Inappropriate, But It's the Price of Freedom

Published | Updated

Dwight Yoakam thinks Marilyn Manson aiming a fake gun at concertgoers was "an inappropriate moment" -- but adds that kinda stunt is fair game in a nation as free as ours.

We got the country star Monday at LAX and he stopped short of ripping into Manson for his assault rifle prop at his show in San Bernardino ... scene of a 2015 mass shooting.

Manson chalked it up to his artistic expression ... and Dwight seemed to accept that, but made it clear he'd never pull that kinda thing.

He also talked about terrorism and the ongoing wave of gun violence in America -- and Dwight seems to think there's no way to put an end to it.

CROSSING THE LINE?

Marilyn Manson was just creating art when he pointed a police-approved fake gun into the crowd at his San Bernardino concert.

Manson defended the stunt, which came almost 2 years after the San Bernardino terror attack ... calling it an "act of theater" about how easy it is to get semi-automatic weapons.

Manson said, "My art has always been a reaction to popular culture and my way to make people think about the horrible things that happen in this world." He claimed to have police approval to use the prop, and added ... "My performance was not meant to be disrespectful or show any insensitivity."

The San Bernardino Sheriff's Dept. tells TMZ it did NOT approve or disapprove of Manson's stunt. However he did give them a heads up he was doing it, which they appreciated ... so deputies at the venue weren't caught off guard.

Manson also said he felt sorry for anyone affected by real guns.

Dennis Rodman is making a plea to POTUS on the eve of his trip to South Korea -- asking him to make peace with his North Korean bro, Kim Jong-un, as tensions rise over nuclear warfare.

"Donald Trump, please, help us," Rodman said to TMZ Sports in Newport Beach. "You always say, 'unite.' I'm all about that."

Dennis told us he trusts Trump ... but feels like he's gotta be involved for his former "Celebrity Apprentice" boss to break bread with the supreme leader.

Highly doubt the Donald's down ... but at least we know the Worm's still trying to play peacemaker.

CROSSING THE LINE?

Marilyn Manson showed a shocking lack of empathy Sunday night as he pretended to spray the crowd with bullets from a fake semi-automatic weapon ... in a county that is still reeling from a mass shooting.

Marilyn --- in a wheelchair after a September injury that crushed his leg -- was performing at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino ... the city where a terrorist killed 14 people in December 2015.

Perhaps with that in mind -- and a penchant for controversial headlines -- Marilyn pulled out the fake rifle while performing "We Know Where You F****** Live."

A mic is attached to the scope of the rifle.

Disturbing as hell.

NFL's Brandon Browner Off Hook In Dom. Violence Case Despite Gun Allegations

Published | Updated

Finally, some good news for ex-Seattle Seahawks star Brandon Browner -- officials decided not to move forward with charges in his domestic violence case ... despite allegations he threatened his ex with a gun.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... 33-year-old Browner was arrested back in Sept. after allegedly making criminal threats to a female.

Now, we've obtained official documents laying out the case against Browner -- which show Brandon's ex-GF told police things got scary during a FaceTime conversation.

"He showed her a gun and said he would kill her," the docs say.

But Browner told police she was lying and he never had a gun. Prosecutors couldn't prove the gun threat actually happened ... so they dropped the case.

Browner is still facing cocaine charges stemming from an arrest in May -- so he's not exactly out of the woods with the law just yet.

7:04 PM PT -- According to reports, Devin Patrick Kelley is described as an Air Force vet who was discharged for bad conduct ... and who was once court-martialed for alleged assault of his wife and kid.

Texas officials just held a press conference about the deadliest mass shooting in the state, and revealed that a local resident fired back at the shooter who killed 26 people at a small town church ... and then gave chase before the gunman was found dead.

A rep for the Texas Department of Public Safety gave a blow-by-blow account of what went down Sunday morning in Sutherland Springs, TX where a gunman opened fire at the First Baptist Church.

He says the gunman, ID'd as Devin Kelley, was dressed in all black tactical gear when he opened fire on the church -- using an AR assault-style rifle -- from the outside and then continued inside. When he walked out again, a local resident engaged him with his own rifle, causing the gunman to flee.

The resident followed the gunman in a separate vehicle, and the gunman was later found shot dead around a nearby county line ... where cops say they found more firearms in his car. It's unclear if the gunman suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound, or if the resident shot and killed him.

As we reported ... the gunman left at least 26 dead, not including himself, as well as at least 20 others injured. The victims' ages range from 5 years old to 72.

Apparently, the resident who fired back at Kelley flagged down a passerby in a truck and instructed him to follow Kelley. The driver of that truck, Johnnie Langendorff, explained to local media he made a snap decision to follow the shooter.
