Charlie Rose is off the air at CBS, but his sexual banter with his "CBS This Morning" co-hosts is all over the Internet ... thanks to John Oliver's HBO show, 'Last Week Tonight.'

Oliver does a running "awkward sex talk" bit, fully dedicated to what -- at the time -- seemed like Rose's playful, yet sexually charged chit chat with Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell.

In one of the clips, you hear Norah tell a guest to "watch his hands, he knows what he's doing" in reference to Charlie holding a female guest.

Oliver's mocking is similar to that of Seth MacFarlane -- who made news when old clips of his surfaced in which he made fun of Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey after their scandals broke.

Mark Cuban is CONGRATULATING LaVar Ball for his celebrity beef with Donald Trump ... saying the way LaVar has handled the China shoplifting crisis is straight out of Trump's playbook.

The Dallas Mavericks owner says the twist in the whole Ball vs. Trump war is that Ball and Trump are kinda like the same person.

They both know what to say to stay relevant. They both refuse to apologize for anything. They're both news media masters.

And, in the end ... Cuban says the real winner is the BIG. BALLER. BRAND.

David Foster quickly hit the reject button when some random chick -- to him, anyway -- tried to get in his car to leave with him ... and it FREAKED him the hell out.

The bizarre incident went down Monday night as the legendary producer was leaving Craig's. Things got super weird at his car -- while David was talking to our guy, 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Kelly Dodd, walked up the passenger side and said, "You're gonna have another housewife."

You've gotta see David's reaction. Yeah, he was married to Yolanda Hadid, but he's definitely NOT looking for an encore 'Housewife' performance ... which Kelly learned the hard way.

Ass. Kicked. To the curb ... in this awesome video.

David's spokeswoman tells TMZ, "In today’s environment, what Kelly did was careless, inappropriate and disrespectful. David drove away in his car, alone and shaken. The video and her remarks speak for itself."

Tyrese is keeping his acting chops sharp for "Fast & Furious 9" -- if it ever shoots -- by continuing to play the role of hostage taker ... even though the jig is fully up.

We got Tyrese and his would-be captive, comedian Michael Blackson, Monday night at Mr Chow ... where Mike still appeared to be under Tyrese's thumb. It's an odd bit of theater, considering TMZ already broke the real story 12 hours earlier.

Police rushed to Tyrese's home when he posted a video making it seem like he was getting violent revenge on Blackson. Turned out to be a publicity stunt, but apparently, they're bucking to replace Key & Peele -- because the duo's still in character.

The Trumps are going full Griswold for the holidays, 'cause they just got a Christmas tree even Chevy Chase might consider too big. Might.

Melania and Barron Trump stood by Monday as the White House holiday tree was delivered by horse-drawn carriage. We're told it comes in at a whopping 19.5 feet in length.

The tree is a Wisconsin-grown Balsam fir provided by the Chapman family of Silent Night Evergreens. They won a national contest for the honor this year.

It's tradition for the First Lady to decorate the tree based on a theme of her choosing ... and Melania seems to be giving her first one some serious thought.

Christina Aguilera's tribute to Whitney Houston during Sunday's AMAs was heartfelt, lovely and fabulous ... according to Whitney's sister-in-law.

We got Pat Houston at LAX and asked what she thought of folks hating on Christina's performance -- with some even suggesting it made P!nk cringe.

Pat's not buying that -- in fact, she says the homage was "amazing." According to her, the only opinions that matter are Christina's and Whit's fam ... and it sounds like she nailed the latter.

As for P!nk's apparent reaction, Pat's got an explanation. Hint ... what does everyone do right before they cry?

We got Christina leaving The Nice Guy in WeHo after the American Music Awards. Judging from the stone-cold look on her face Xtina'd already heard about P!nk's facial reaction to her Whitney Houston tribute during the show.

P!nk's apparent reaction went viral with many thinking she was not feeling the performance. Well, Christina gave us her own reaction ... to the reaction.

They've had bad blood before -- remember Christina tried punching P!nk in the face years ago. Still, P!nk tried early on to diffuse this AMA beef with a tweet because she said she loved the performance.

Wonder what Christina thought of P!nk's act.

Police beelined it for Tyrese's home early Monday morning after he posted a video showing a man tied up in his underwear, looking distressed in Tyrese's home ... as Tyrese eats ramen.

The video -- posted at 3 AM -- shows the man bound and gagged and it looks like he's being held hostage. The man on the couch is comedian Michael Blackson ... whose own vid, infamously mocking Tyrese's breakdown, went viral a couple weeks ago.

LAPD got a flurry of calls after Tyrese posted his vid of Michael bound and gagged -- people felt he had finally lost it, and kidnapped Blackson out of revenge ... now that he has 50/50 custody of Shayla.

When cops arrived at Tyrese's home they spoke with his security and were told the video was a well-produced "joke" -- and Blackson was totally in on it.

Crisis averted. And well played ... by Tyrese and Blackson.

Donald Trump has turned his sights on BeastMode -- blasting the NFL star for sitting during the U.S. national anthem -- but standing for the Mexican national anthem -- during his game this weekend.

Marshawn Lynch was clearly looking to send a political message when his Oakland Raiders played the New England Patriots in Mexico City on Sunday.

But it rubbed Trump the wrong way ... with POTUS tweeting:

"Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect!"

"Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down."

P!nk sure knows her best angles -- 'cause she just did an entire performance on the side of a building ... and made it look effortless.

The pop star did the death-defying stunt Sunday night in L.A. for the 2017 American Music Awards -- in which she hung off the side of the JW Marriott Hotel next to the Microsoft Theater while singing her song "Beautiful Trauma" ... just about 34 floors high.

While the rest of us were covering our eyes in complete fear for her safety, P!nk looked like she'd just gotten hired as a Cirque du Soleil ... twirling around like a veteran acrobat.

As we reported ... P!nk definitely got some practice in ahead of the performance, which seems like it paid off big time.

Don't ever mistake Ashanti for a stripper, 'cause she'll stop her show and call you the hell out ... as a group of her fans quickly learned this weekend.

Ashanti and Ja Rule performed Saturday at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, where the singer stopped her part of the show mid-song to blast some concert-goers who were tossing cash at her while she did a choreographed lap dance as part of her routine.

As you can see ... she quickly shut that down by reminding 'em she's not a "f****** stripper."

Turns out, the folks making it rain were actually employees of a nearby strip club called Ballarrinas -- and the owner didn't take too kindly to Ashanti's outburst.

In an IG post, the owner -- Dyamin Thomas -- said ... "WAIT Ashanti ain’t that you in your background video throwing money ? And aren’t you giving a lap dance ? Lmfao .. she ain’t say nothing to me but you gonna pick on the small white boy lol my Dj ? Damn."

That's right, the U.S. Navy is taking time out of, y'know ... defending the nation, to issue an apology for one seriously cocky pilot. The giant dong popped up Thursday in the sky over Washington State.

The Maverick-wannabe who pulled the stunt hails from the Whidbey Island naval station ... which prompted his superiors to say, "We find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable."

Get that? IF there was "training value" in it, we'd be seeing twigs and berries all over the sky.

Daz Dillinger says Lil Peep's death should set off alarms -- prescription pill addiction isn't just a problem in hip-hop, it's part of the culture.

We got Tha Dogg Pound legend at LAX Thursday, and he reacted to emo rapper Lil Peep dying of what police suspect is an overdose. Daz says this needs to be the moment when artists quit glorifying pill popping, as Peep often did with Xanax and other meds.

While DD famously rapped back in the day about marijuana, especially on The Chronic, he says the danger is way higher today.

Gigi Hadid will NOT be walking the runway for Victoria's Secret in China -- despite saying she would this summer -- and folks think it's got something to do with her mocking Asians.

Gigi announced Thursday she "won't be able to make it to China this year," adding she'd be there in spirit with her VS family, and couldn't "wait for next year!"

The model didn't elaborate as to why she was bailing, but people online couldn't help but point to the backlash she caught earlier this year when she imitated a Buddha face online ... which many people called racist and insensitive.

Again, Gigi hasn't explained the reason behind her cancellation ... but either way, it looks like she's walking this one all the way back ... not on the runway, though.

Quick side note ... it appears her sister, Bella, is still planning to appear in Shanghai.

Weinstein's camp tells us the women came to the meeting to deliver info about an anger management program they're urging him to enter. We're told the trio was waiting to meet with Weinstein's rehab sponsor.

Here's Harvey Weinstein -- or maybe a Blues Brother, or a long-lost member of Run DMC -- wining and dining 2 blondes in the desert.

TMZ obtained the photo, taken last Saturday night at a restaurant in Carefree, AZ ... just outside Phoenix. A witness says Weinstein was at the table waiting for the ladies when they arrived, and he'd pre-ordered 2 glasses of white wine for them. He drank what appeared to be water.

The women appeared captivated by Weinstein's conversation -- but we're told both of them arrived with small portfolios, and it seemed more business-like. They all left together, exiting off the patio instead of walking through the restaurant.

The leather jacket, fedora and shades are, arguably, an upgrade over the wigged out getup he was rocking earlier this month at a different Phoenix-area eatery.

10:54 AM PT -- Leeann says she accepts Franken's apology.

Sen. Al Franken may face an Ethics Committee review in the wake of claims he groped and sexually harassed radio host and former model Leeann Tweeden.

Tweeden released a 2006 photo of Franken -- who was not then elected -- groping, or at least pretending to grope her as she slept during a USO trip they both made. Tweeden says Franken, an 'SNL' vet and comedian at the time, had written a skit for their USO show in the Middle East, which required him to kiss her.

She claims during rehearsals he repeatedly tried to kiss her even though she told him it was not necessary. As she put it, "Relax Al, this isn't SNL ... we don't need to rehearse the kiss." She claims he persisted and eventually put his hand on the back of her head, and jammed his tongue in her mouth.

She says the alleged groping photo was taken on the plane ride home, after the 2-week tour, and as she slept.

Franken released a lengthy statement, apologizing directly to Tweeden. He also said, "I respect women. I don't respect men who don't. And the fact that my own actions have given people a good reason to doubt that makes me feel ashamed."
