1:44 PM PT -- Lewis has apologized for his comment, saying he meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone. He says he realizes it's wrong to marginalize or stereotype anyone, and asks for forgiveness in his lapse of judgment.

Lewis Hamilton is in some serious hot water after posting a video in which he seems to shame a grade school-aged male family member for wearing a princess dress.

The video -- which has since been deleted from his social media -- shows Hamilton admonishing the kid, asking him if he asked for the dress for Christmas, then finally shouting at him.

"BOYS DON'T WEAR PRINCESS DRESSES."

The kid seems gleeful about his outfit, but Lewis is visibly disappointed and tells the camera (and his millions of social media followers) all about it.

Since posting the vid, Hamilton has been getting absolutely DESTROYED on Twitter (where the clip is still being circulated) with people accusing him of bullying and humiliating his nephew in front of the world.

Lorde has a funny way of picking and choosing countries in which to perform -- she canceled her show next year in Israel ... but kept her tour dates in Russia.

Lorde pulled the plug Sunday in reaction to backlash over her upcoming Tel Aviv concert next June, with some fans saying she shouldn't support what they call "ethnic cleansing" of Palestinians.

President Trump recently recognized Jerusalem as Israel's new capital, and stirred up a new wave of controversy in the region.

Lorde said in a statement, "i've received an overwhelming number of messages & letters and have had a lot of discussions with people holding many views, and i think the right decision at this time is to cancel the show." She adds ... "i pride myself on being an informed young citizen ... but I'm not too proud to admit i didn't make the right call on this one."

Yung Berg has had so many legal problems lately, he could get an honorary law degree ... the latest of which is an arrest for treating the legal system as a joke.

Here's what we know. Berg was in Miami in October for the BET awards, when cops were called to the hotel where he was staying after a woman claimed he unwantedly wrapped his arms around her. There was some sort of altercation in the hallway where one of Berg's friends allegedly put hands on her.

We're told when cops arrived at the 'Love & Hip Hop' star's hotel room, they found 2 blunts on him which probably would not have resulted in an arrest. But here's the problem ... cops ran his record and found he blew off a court date for another pot bust 9 years ago, so they hauled him off to jail.

Berg was released.

Miranda Cosgrove is still dealing with her stalker more than 2 years after he was ordered to stay away from her, and now he could be facing prison time ... so say cops.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Joshua Stockton was arrested earlier this month for allegedly sending Miranda dozens of ominous emails. We're told the messages weren't threatening, but creepy nonetheless ... calling her a "goddess" and himself a "prince."

We broke the stories ... Stockton was sentenced to probation and treatment after pleading no contest to felony stalking in 2015 after creeping on her at Disneyland -- which violated a previous restraining order she had taken out against him.

Former Miss America Mallory Hagan feels validated in the wake of degrading internal emails by CEO Sam Haskell that were leaked ... and now she thinks it's time for those in charge to hit the road.

Mallory tells us she knew about the offensive behavior within the Miss America organization for a long time, but felt it would be dismissed as hearsay if she spoke up ... so she's happy it's come to light.

She says there's absolutely no excuse for the language used in the emails -- in which Haskell wrote, "We lost count of the number of men she slept with at 25," along with exchanging other slut-shaming and fat-shaming comments with board members.

Hagan's incensed that so far only one man has lost his job over the vulgar comments (Lewis Friedman, the writer who referred to former Miss USAs as "c**ts") ... when so many others were complicit.

Princess Michael says she's sorry the racially insensitive brooch she wore to the Queen's lunch -- attended by Meghan Markle -- was offensive ... and we're told she vows never to wear it again.

Simon Astaire, a spokesperson for the wife of the Queen's cousin, tells TMZ ... she's "very sorry and distressed" she wore her Blackamoor brooch to the Xmas shindig. We're told it was a gift she's worn many times before, without controversy.

A source connected to Kensington Palace tells us Princess Michael was not trying to insult Meghan or any people of color. The source says she's learned her lesson, and is going to retire the brooch for good.

As we reported ... this was Meghan's first Christmas lunch hosted by the Queen. It was not Princess Michael's first controversial incident involving race. She allegedly told a group of African-American diners in a New York restaurant to "go back to the colonies" in 2004. She made things worse when she explained she views people in Africa as "adorable."

This is a fine hello for Meghan Markle ... she attended her first Christmas Lunch hosted by the Queen, and one of the Royals thought it was a good idea to wear a piece of jewelry that disparages people of color.

Princess Michael, who is married to one of the Queen's cousins, was seen arriving at the Buckingham Palace soiree wearing a Blackamoor brooch. It's an 18th Century antique that many think signifies racial conquest. It features a dark-skinned man wearing a turban ... the line of jewelry is known for its depictions of people of color in positions of servitude.

Meghan is biracial and has been outspoken about her experiences with racism. She did not sit at the same table as Princess Michael and we don't know if they exchanged words, but it's an intimate gathering.

Sofia Richie got down and dirty -- sexy dancing for boyfriend Scott Disick -- and it was all while her dad's music blasted in the background.

Disick shared the clip of a 19-year-old Richie in some skimpy Santa gear moving her hips and shaking her ass in his kitchen. It's a whole lotta awkward, considering the song she's gyrating to is Lionel's "All Night Long."

34-year-old Scott has been seemingly settled down since getting with Richie months ago ... looks like their recipe for fun is some one-on-one dance parties.

Sarah Hyland put CVS on blast for leaving her hanging on crucial meds she needed, but the pharmacy is firing back, saying the mix-up was her own damn fault.

Sarah tore into CVS earlier this week after she said a Studio City location never notified her to pick up her medication before closing time ... as she claims they promised they would.

She also called them out for allegedly posting the wrong hours on the Internet. Based on her post, it appears she pulled the hours from a maps app.

And therein lies the problem, as they say. We're told CVS learned Sarah did use a 3rd party search engine to find those hours -- but did NOT check the actual CVS website. That site displays the correct pharmacy closing time ... 9 PM.

Senator Joe Manchin is breaking with his own party over Al Franken, saying they jumped the gun in forcing him to resign ... and suggesting he be given a chance to stay.

We got the West Virginia Democratic Senator in D.C. Tuesday where we asked if he truly felt Franken shouldn't have to resign before an Ethics investigation is complete.

In short ... damn right. According to Joe -- who wasn't one of at least 39 senators calling for Al to step down -- Franken wasn't given the due process he deserved after being accused of sexual misconduct -- and says his resignation was premature.

BTW ... Franken has yet to announce his last day in office.

Nipsey Hussle says Diddy and Colin Kaepernick are about to be the NFL's first black owners -- and he's gonna personally smack anyone trying to hold 'em down!

FYI, a Bay Area newscaster is under fire over a segment mocking Puff's bid to buy the Panthers -- with the reporter saying he looked drunk and high, and claiming the hip-hop mogul was too broke to buy the team.

Nipsey's response?

Tavis Smiley knows it's hard to find Mr. or Mrs. Right, and insists that's why he never discouraged employees -- including himself, apparently -- from dating co-workers.

The suspended PBS talk show host took a stand for workplace dating Monday night on Tucker Carlson's FOX News show. Remember, PBS benched Tavis last week amid sexual misconduct allegations -- and true to his word, he's now vigorously defending himself.

The way Tavis sees it -- it's wrong to ban employees from dating because it's hard to meet someone when you're working your ass off. He's ignoring the power dynamic -- supervisors, like himself, dating people who work under him.

Still, he's passionate about the issue.

4:12 PM PT -- A rep for Travis tells TMZ ... the guard who was choking the fan was not part of Travis' personal security detail.

A Travis Scott fan thought he was about to jump onstage, but instead got brutally choked by a security guard -- and to add insult to injury, his buddy DID get to hangout with Travis.

Travis was performing Saturday night at Power 106's Cali Christmas concert at the Forum ... when 2 dudes tried to get up close and personal with the rapper. Initially, they both got stopped until Travis ordered security to ease up. One guy was released -- but the other was dragged away by his neck.

Travis is known for his rowdy shows, and does let fans share the spotlight with him at times.

He was recently named in a lawsuit by a fan who was injured at one of his shows in NYC after falling from a balcony.

However, Saturday in Inglewood ... he seemed to be doing his best to get security to go easy on his fans. At least one guard didn't get the message.

This clip with Joel McHale sums up the NFL's problem with Thursday Night Football in a nutshell -- he knows it's dangerous for the players ... but he loves the sport too much to stop watching.

McHale is a footballaholic -- but with huge names like Drew Brees and Richie Incognito calling for an end to the mid-week game due to a spike in injuries, we asked Joel if he would support one less day of the NFL.

The short answer ... no.

McHale was a tight end for the Washington Huskies back in college -- so, he knows what he's talking about when it comes to the risks of the sport.
