Lee Harvey Oswald -- the man some believe acted alone in assassinating President John F. Kennedy -- never cashed his final paycheck ... on account of being dead, we're assuming.

Oswald's check from the Texas School Book Depository is now up for auction ... and it's likely to fetch a lot more money than what it was originally worth to him.

It was issued to Oswald on December 3, 1963 -- 11 days after he killed JFK, and 9 days after he was shot and killed by Jack Ruby.

As you can see, it's handwritten other than the stamped amount of "$43 and 37 cts" and includes a note at the bottom left that reads, "4 Days. Lee Harvey Oswald for Nov '63."

This implies he was paid for 4 days that week, but not a fifth day ... possibly Friday, November 22, the date of the assassination. Of course, Oswald was seen working at the book depository that morning ... before climbing into a 6th-floor window, and taking aim at Kennedy's motorcade in Daley Plaza.

Oswald fired 3 shots at 12:30 PM.

The check ended up in the possession of Marina Oswald's lawyer, John Thorne. He apparently paid Lee's wife the cash in order to keep the check, which he obviously realized would become historic memorabilia.

When Thorne died, it was transferred to his widow ... who's passed it along to Heritage Auctions to put it on the block. We're told it could haul in thousands, as it's comparable to checks signed by John Wilkes Booth ... which can sell for up to $10k.

This short-haired boy would grow up to become one of the most famous DJ's in the world ... and grow out his long locks.

Though born in Miami, he grew up on the West Coast in Newport Beach and went to college at UC Santa Barbara. While there, he produced do-it-yourself records and ran underground concerts ... demonstrating his enthusiasm for music.

He founded his own label before he turned 20, and began putting out work by various electro house artists ... and producing popular remixes.

His fame rose through relentless touring, and before long ... he became the highest-grossing dance artist in North America.

He's collaborated with artists like Linkin Park, LMFAO, Fall Out Boy, blink-182, Iggy Azalea and the Backstreet Boys ... just to name a few.

Recently, he launched his own pizza chain ... following in the restaurateur footsteps of his father, who's the founder of Benihana.

Nipsey Hussle was honored at the Grammys by some of music's biggest stars ... a tribute that also included a shout-out to Kobe Bryant.

DJ Khaled, John Legend, YG and others took the stage Sunday to remember the rapper with an emotional performance. YG, who was arrested Friday in L.A. made his first public performance since the incident ... but did not make any mention of what happened.

At the end of the tribute, a graphic of both Kobe and Nipsey was projected on the stage and DJ Khaled took the mic to remember Kobe.

TMZ broke the story ... Kobe, his 13-year-old daughter and 7 other people were killed in a helicopter crash Sunday in L.A. Bad weather conditions are a possible cause of the crash. The impact of his death has been felt across the world ... and Grammy host Alicia Keys took a moment to honor Kobe at the beginning of the show.

It's Grammy day, and before Hollywood accepts their golden gramophones ... they wanted to stunt a little bit on the way in. And stunt they certainly did.

The best in the music biz were all on hand Sunday at the STAPLES Center, where stars like Lizzo, Rick Ross, Billie Eilish, Finneas O'Connell, Ozzy Osbourne, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Skrillex, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Iggy Pop, YBN Cordae, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, Billy Porter, Chris Brown and more.

A lot of the outfits were safe -- standard award show garb -- but others were out there. Among the more non-conventional/political looks ... Joy Villas "Trump 2020" dress, Megan Pormer's "No War 💖 Iran" gown and Ricky Rebel's "Impeach This" ass cheek statement.

If you thought their entrance was something, get a load of how they used their fashion behind the scenes. Definitely more movement than the usual posing on the way in.

Of course, Sunday's proceedings come right on the heels of the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant ... and it's being held at the same place he played for years, no less.

A bunch of fans have gathered outside of STAPLES and created makeshift memorials for him. Definitely a solemn day in the sports world and beyond, but the Grammys must go on.

The show must go on for YG ... according to his lawyer, anyway, who says the guy WILL perform at the Grammys after all, this following his arrest and release.

YG's attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ ... YG is moving forward with his Grammy Awards performance Sunday night, which had already been in the books before he got hauled in by cops last week on suspicion of robbery and bonding out the same day on $250k bail.

The rapper's performance is supposed to be in honor of the late Nipsey Hussle -- which Tacopina and others, including The Game, thought might've been behind the arrest.

We still don't know what the robbery allegation stems from, but YG's Escalade was involved in a high-speed chase back in July that left a 65-year-old man dead. The MC denied he was anywhere near that scene at the time ... it's unclear if the two cases are related.

Looks like YG's following in the footsteps of his fellow artist Young Thug -- who was also put in cuffs last year right before his Grammys performance, but was then released.

Joe Giudice is moving on from Teresa Giudice with ease -- and by that, we mean he's got one, two, three, four .... lots and lots of options, basically.

The 'RHONJ' star was down in Mexico over the weekend at a place called Isla Mujeres. That translates to Island of Women ... and, lord, did it live up to the name. Take a look -- Joe, who seemed to be on a boys' trip, was absolutely surrounded by gorgeous babes.

They were pretty into him too from the looks of these photos and videos TMZ obtained. At one point, Joe was seen dancing with some of the girls at a hotel called Izla. Later, he was spotted cozying up with a couple other gals under a cabana on the beach. Heyooo!

Of course, Joe's single right now ... so no harm, no foul. He and Teresa officially split last month after growing and living apart for several years now. No one's filed for divorce or a legal separation, but it's clear they're both moving on and dating other people now.

In fact, we just saw Teresa with a new/not-so-new boo thang not too long ago in Jersey. Apparently, it's an old flame of hers ... who was also on the show as the family's pool boy man.

Cardi B looked amazing at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy bash Saturday night, and her hubby was more than happy to sample the goods!

Cardi hit up the annual bash at the Bev Hilton Hotel and wore a super NSFW dress, to Offset's resounding approval.

Offset and Cardi are nominated for Best Rap Performance for "Clout."

She's won a Grammy last year for Best Rap Album, and she definitely won at Clive's party.

Diddy railed on the Grammys Saturday, saying it's turned a blind eye to black artists ... notably, hip-hop artists.

Ironically, Diddy unloaded on the Grammys during his acceptance speech for receiving an Industry Icon award. It all went down at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

As you know, TMZ broke the story ... Whitney Houston died the evening of the same annual party back in 2012 when she was found in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton, dead from an OD.

As for Diddy, he gave an acceptance speech that was interminably long -- 50 minutes, seriously. It ended at 12:30 AM, and toward the end is when Diddy set his sights on the folks who run the Grammys.

Among many other things ... Diddy said, "Truth be told, hip-hop has never been respected by the Grammys. Black music has never been respected by the Grammys."

As for Diddy's record ... 3 Grammy wins and 13 noms.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are planning an epic birthday bash for their little Stormi ... and if her first bday is any indication, this party's gonna be outta this world!!!

Sources close to Kylie and Travis tell TMZ ... they are getting back to their co-parenting ways to throw a joint party for Stormi's 2nd, renting out a studio space for friends and family and running up the tab to a cool six figures.

Stormi's already gotten a special trip to Disney World to kick off the birthday festivities -- Feb. 1 marks her second trip around the sun -- but the Mouse House is only the tip of the bday iceberg.

You'll recall ... Stormi's first birthday bash was nothing short of spectacular. Kylie rented out the entire backlot of Universal Studios for a "Stormiworld" theme, complete with carnival rides, a butterfly rainbow forest and tons of food and games.

Tinashe opened up in a big way Saturday afternoon, saying she was so torn up when she found out her ex-boyfriend Ben Simmons was dating Kendall Jenner ... she hit the bottle and didn't stop.

Tinashe made the revelation at Roc Nation's pre-Grammy brunch, calling the day she found out her BF of 2 years was dating Kendall Jenner "the worst day of my life."

You may recall, Tinashe told us back in 2018 Ben texted her while he was at a club with Kendall, after they bumped into her in L.A.

She says she was wasted for a solid 6 months after that, but she says she's now fully recovered.

And 19 years later ... The now 52-year-old was most recently spotted showing off his luscious locks at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California last month (right).

Urban -- who will be presenting at the 62nd Grammy Awards tonight -- has had 19 Grammy nominations and has won 4 times for best male country vocal performance.

The question is ...

Wendy Williams is officially single and already mingling ... because she knows exactly what she wants, and the goods she's got to offer.

It's no surprise the talk show host is on the market -- she has been since she filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, in April -- but we're told she's been enjoying the dating scene lately ... and has it down to a bit of a science.

We're told Wendy's always taking interviews for potential suitors and has criteria for them. For example, they don't have to be millionaires, but they better treat her in a manner she's accustomed ... so no cheap-ass dinners or gifts.

Second, she doesn't date dudes with kids still living at home ... our sources say she's not down with going to PTA meetings or youth baseball games.

And, as we know ... any new potential boyfriend has to make for good conversation.

Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez's billion-dollar rematch ain't happening -- not now, not ever -- so says the Mexican superstars' promoter, Oscar De La Hoya.

Remember, the boxing legends fought back in 2013 ... and Canelo -- who was only 22 years old at the time -- was easily handled by Floyd, losing by majority decision.

The two have been talking trash to each other publicly ever since -- Canelo's mocked Floyd for fighting Conor McGregor. Floyd went after Canelo for his positive PED test in 2018. For a second, it started to feel like they were seriously building toward a rematch.

In fact, just last year De La Hoya told us the rematch would be the biggest event in boxing history -- easily a $1.5 BILLION event.

But, things have changed and now, Oscar seems to be slamming the door on getting the superstars back in the same ring.

Ne-Yo is feeling a little less proud of the Grammys he believed were well-earned -- because much as it pains him, he admits the recent claims of vote-rigging are entirely possible.

We got the R&B superstar at LAX and with this year's award show -- the 62nd annual -- about to go down, we had to ask about the new controversy sparked by ousted Recording Academy president and CEO Deborah Dugan.

If ya missed it, she blew the whistle on what she claims is a deeply broken process of selecting Grammy winners. In a formal complaint, she claimed it's all rigged and accused Recording Academy committee members of throwing bones to certain artists due to personal or business relationships.

Ne-Yo didn't pull punches and told us exactly why it seems plausible to him. That said, he made it clear he hopes there were NO shady dealings behind his 3 Grammys.

Ne-Yo won two Grammys for his song "Miss Independent," and another for his 2008 album, "Because of You."

CM Punk is finally responding to Logan Paul's big MMA call out ... and bad news -- it's a big, fat THUMBS DOWN!

Of course, Paul is looking to continue his combat sports career after that big boxing match with KSI back in November -- and the two names he's thrown out are Antonio Brown and CM Punk.

With AB's troubling legal issues, that fight seems like a long shot now ... so what about Punk?

Remember, 41-year-old Punk has two UFC fights under his belt -- and even though he lost 'em both, we're told he's a maniac in the gym ... and a lot of people would like to see him get another shot.
