Pete Davidson, Emma Stone Celebs Pour Into MSG ... Gotta Watch LeBron!!!
LeBron James made his return to Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night -- and in turn, so did a ton of celebs ... and the king didn't disappoint in NYC as a bunch of Hollywood's A-listers cheered him on.
LBJ went off in the game against the Knicks -- logging 28 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists ... as the Lakers knocked off the home team in overtime, 129-123.
Emma Stone, Michael B. Jordan, Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson -- sporting a new haircut! -- seemed to love it all ... rockin' big smiles on their faces as the L.A. superstar did his thing.

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, former NHL star Henrik Lundqvist and comedian, Hasan Minhaj were also in attendance.
Of course, Spike Lee -- as usual -- was in the building ... though he wasn't in good spirits as his favorite team got dumped on by L.A.

All the celebs sat near each other in courtside seats ... with most appearing to have a hell of a time while rubbing elbows with one another.
It should be noted there was no date spotted on Davidson's arm ... but he seemed to be content riding solo and hanging with Stewart for the big hoops night, nonetheless.

Celebrities won't get another chance to watch LeBron hoop at the Mecca again until 2023 -- this was the Lakers' lone appearance at MSG this season.
But, hey, if those that weren't in the arena were really feeling the FOMO on Tuesday night ... something tells us they'll be able to afford to go watch him play in L.A. later this year.

As we previously reported, STAT was accused of striking one of his teen daughters across the face at least twice.
But the 40-year-old adamantly denied the accusations ... saying he would never lay a finger on another human being.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office confirmed to CBS Miami on Tuesday, the charges related to the Dec. 2022 incident have been dropped "due to the failure of the victim to cooperate in the prosecution of the criminal case."
Stoudemire tells TMZ Sports ... "A little over a month ago, my family’s world was turned upside down as I faced allegations that we all knew to be untrue – which I instantly and publicly denied."
"Today, I’m grateful that after a full investigation, all charges were dismissed. Fortunately, my family and most importantly, my incredible children are all doing well. My faith in the goodness we all possess has never wavered and has never been greater. My love for my family is without limits."

NBA's Isaac Okoro Hilariously Sings 'Take Me To Church' ... In Cavaliers' Hot Tub!!
Cavs forward Isaac Okoro had a religious experience while listening to 'Take Me To Church' on Monday ... and hilariously performed the song in the team's hot tub!!
The 22-year-old former 5th overall draft pick was sitting in the team's hot tub (hey, gotta take care of the body) minding his business, listening to Hozier's hit single when his teammate Darius Garland walked in.
While the music was blasting, Garland started singing the chorus, and that's when Okoro got up and put on a show.
"Offer me that deathless death, Good God, let me give you my life, Take me to church!" the two belted out.
Okoro's choreography was on point with a hilarious backward fall into the hot tub to conclude his performance .. and Garland couldn't help but laugh.
Of course, Okoro and Garland have a lot to be happy about ... they just whooped the Los Angeles Clippers 122-99 on Sunday. The Cavs are currently ranked 5th in the Eastern Conference.
Plus, Garland -- who signed a five-year deal worth $231 million last season -- is averaging 21.9 points and 8.2 assists per game.
BTW, the song might ring a bell for Cavs fans ... it's the track that was playing in LeBron James' Beats by Dre commercial when he returned to Cleveland.

"He speaks with this cadence -- 'Go out there. Give it your absolute all. Don’t be shy. They are here to watch you play. Go play to the greatest of your ability ... and some of the greatest compliments I’ve ever been given are from Bill Walton."
Of course, Mayer plays guitar and sings for the GD spinoff band -- so Walton has seen him perform countless times. He even took the stage with the band in 2015.
In fact, Mayer says Walton -- who stands at 6'11" -- is easily recognizable in the crowd ... referring to the guy as "air traffic control" for the fans in attendance.
Bill explains his reasoning for holding his hands up in the sky during shows ... saying he spent 4.5 years immobile with a deteriorating spine, and now that he's able to move -- he's making the best of it.

H.S. Basketball Coach Fired After Posing As 13-Year-Old ... In JV Basketball Game
-
Breaking News
- 16.3K shares
12:10 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has confirmed Arlisha Boykins, the junior varsity coach AND varsity head coach were all fired as a result of the incident.
We also spoke with a rep for the Virginia High School League -- the organization that oversees H.S. athletics in the state -- and while the VHSL is aware of the situation, it is letting the two schools involved handle all punishment.
A spokesperson for Churchland tells us school officials were not present for the away game ... and were not made aware of Boykins' participation in the game until the following Monday.
Churchland administrators held a meeting with the parents and students of the JV and varsity teams ... and the athletes for both squads ultimately decided to scrap the season.
Here's a new one -- a 22-year-old high school basketball coach is out of the job after trying to pass as a 13-year-old player in a junior varsity game earlier this month.
According to local reports, Arlisha Boykins -- an assistant for the Churchland H.S. Truckers in Virginia -- impersonated one of her players who was away from the team for a club basketball tournament on Saturday, Jan. 21.
Instead of playing with one less hooper, Boykins apparently took matters into her own hands and suited up as the student-athlete ... and footage obtained by WAVY10 shows the full-grown adult balling out against the competition -- driving the lane for a layup, getting a block and nailing free throws.
The outlet reports Boykins was fired as a result of the stunt ... and the rest of Churchland's JV players and parents elected to opt out of the remainder of the season.
The 13-year-old's father spoke about the situation ... admitting he was "shocked" the coach would do such a thing.
The school is now investigating the incident ... and the student's family is asking for an apology.

Anthony Edwards I Eat 21+ Bags Of Hot Fries A Week ... 'Best Chips Ever Made!!!'
Karl-Anthony Towns isn't gonna like this -- NBA star Anthony Edwards just opened up about his Chester's Hot Fries obsession ... admitting he eats at least 21 bags a week!!
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard listed the 10 things he can't live without during a GQ Sports interview on Monday -- and naturally, his beloved snack food made the cut.
"The best chips that were ever made," the 21-year-old said. "I've been eating 'em since I was probably like five years old."
"I probably eat like 3 a day. You do the math ... what's that 21 bags? Yeah, I eat that many!"
In fact, AE says he probably eats more than that depending on how much time he has during the day.
Of course, this might not sit well with KAT -- Remember, the Wolves center called out Edwards for being sluggish on the court ... and blamed AE's love for Popeyes chicken for his performance.
10/25/22
"I know y’all think it’s funny up here when he talks about Popeyes and all that s***," Towns told reporters last October. "That doesn't make me happy to hear."

Well, his recent performance on the court says otherwise. In Minnesota's last three wins, Edwards averaged 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists per game -- plus, he's shooting at 55% from the field.
Sounds like somebody should get an endorsement deal with Chester's Hot Fries, huh??

Game hit a couple of consecutive long bombs and went the extra mile and campaigned for an NBA 10-day contract. He also called out Gillie Da Kid to pull up to his home court in L.A. and earn an ass-whooping!!!
Gillie's one of the better shooters in hip hop ... even showing out NBA organizations in the past, so this could get interesting.
Master P is still the only traditional rapper who played in the NBA, having suited up for both the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors in the late '90s.
That said, Diddy does have his own league for artists to get out on the hardwood -- might be time for some new teams in the rotation!!!

Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan Secret Handshake ... Sealed With A Kiss!!!
Things are clearly getting quite serious between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan -- the two now have a secret handshake ... one that they seal with a big smooch!!
Michael Jordan's offspring shared a vid of the couple's new intimate finger-locking greeting on his social media page Sunday night -- showing further that he and Scottie Pippen's ex are, in fact, an item.
In the clip, you can see Marcus and Larsa slapping hands repeatedly -- before Marcus, as part of the shake, put his arm over her head and pulled her in to give her a kiss.
It's a cute and romantic moment for the two -- but it also shows things have certainly progressed to perhaps official relationship status for the couple.
You'll recall, despite getting very close over the past few months, the duo has insisted they're nothing more than just good friends. But they've now each posted each other on their social media pages in the last few days -- with Larsa sharing a snap last week of the two holding hands in front of a Jordan floral arrangement.
For what it's worth, Marcus captioned his handshake video with the words, "Twistin’ up my fingers for my twin" -- something that sure seems to indicate things are heating up.
Good for them it's true love at last ... even if Scottie ain't exactly pleased to see it all.

Kanye West is the named suspect in a battery investigation after a heated exchange with a photographer escalated to the point of Ye grabbing and throwing the woman’s phone.
Check out the video, Ye’s clearly upset — accusing the woman of following him — all the while she continues to record.
The woman exclaims, “You’re a celebrity!” but that’s enough for Ye, who grabs and throws the woman’s phone into the street.
He then hops into his SUV where his wife, Bianca Censori, is patiently waiting.
A law enforcement source tells us Kanye’s the named suspect in a battery investigation, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene around 4:30 PM and were provided video evidence of the incident.
It’s currently unclear if the woman is a professional photographer or was just taking videos of Ye as a citizen.
We should note … the whole thing happened near a sports complex where North West had a scheduled basketball game.
As we reported, Ye and Bianca were spotted shopping at a Balenciaga store earlier this week, the same brand that cut ties with Kanye after his antisemitic remarks.

Robert Horry Ejected From Son's HS Basketball Game ... For Heckling Refs, 'You Suck!'
-
Exclusive
- 4.2K shares
7x NBA champ Robert Horry was ejected from his son's basketball game Friday night for screaming "you suck" at the referees, and TMZ Sports has video of the incident.
52-year-old Horry's son Christian is a junior at Harvard Westlake, one of the top private schools in L.A., where he is a star guard. Harvard-Westlake was playing St. Francis in Flintridge, CA Friday night.
During the 3rd quarter, Christian picked up his 4th foul, according to a spectator, and "Big Shot Bob" wasn't exactly pleased with the call ... so he began yelling at the refs.
The video starts with Horry, mid-sentence, screaming "You suck!" while standing in the bleachers. It's not seen on the video, but this is when the ref points at Robert, and tosses him out of the game.
But, Horry didn't stop, continuing, "Hey ref, you talking about me? You suck! Oh, you're mad at me because I said you suck?"
Robert then climbed down the stands, where he stood on the sideline, jawing at the ref. It's difficult to understand what he's saying.
A few seconds later, someone came over to corral RH, and they began walking towards the gym exit.
Horry briefly stopped to talk to the HW coach. The guys quickly put an arm around each other, and Robert continued on.
Horry, who played with the Rockets, Suns, Lakers, and Spurs over his 17-season NBA career, won more championships (7) than almost any other player in NBA history (only 6 players won 8 or more titles). Robert was known for his ability to knock down big shots in clutch moments.
Under CIF rules, Horry could be banned from attending the next Harvard Westlake basketball game.

Well, this is new ... Clemson men's basketball star Brevin Galloway revealed he experienced a different type of groin injury this week -- saying he was rushed to the doctor on Thursday after "my balls and my nut sack were exploded."
For real.

"I don't know what happened to my balls," he said. "I guess they were trying to be like basketballs, but we made it."
Even though Galloway was all smiles when describing the episode, he later said the testicular torsion he experienced was bad ... and he "couldn't breathe without pain." He called it a 10/10 bad on the pain scale.
Galloway -- who averages 10.6 points and 2.6 assists per game -- is now expected to miss a couple games while recovering ... but he's eyeing Feb. 4 as a potential date for his return.

Duquesne Men's Basketball Game Uber Eats Delivery Was A Prank ... School Says
12:14 PM PT -- The weird scene at the Duquesne men's basketball game was deemed to be a prank after all ... the school said in a statement Thursday afternoon that the whole thing appeared to be "done for internet exposure."
"We determined that the individual was wearing a mic while someone filmed him walk on to the court during active play," school officials told WPXI reporter Jenna Harner.
"While the incident may have seemed funny at the time, and no harm was done, we are mindful that incidents like this can put players and officials at risk."
Bizarre scene in the college basketball world Wednesday night ... an Uber Eats delivery person walked onto the court in the middle of a game -- halting play and leaving everyone in the arena scratching their heads.
The wild moment happened in the second half of the Loyola Chicago vs. Duquesne men's basketball game at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh ... when a man dressed in yellow and holding a bag of McDonald's goodies hit the hardwood right as the Dukes were trying to score a basket.

Broadcast video shows a nearby ref trying his best to get the guy off the floor as the action kept moving forward ... but the man appeared to be oblivious as he attempted to find his food's intended target.
Eventually, the play was stopped -- and the game's broadcasters had to then describe what was happening.
"This guy's in the corner -- was he going to deliver the McDonald's to somebody on the court?!" one announcer said.
"Who's he delivering it to?!" the other said.
Everyone keeps asking me what happened with the door dash guy on the court at tonights game. Here was my angle.

A thread... pic.twitter.com/QMY3nmw2tq
According to video shot on the baseline, the deliverer had actually been asking people on the floor if they had ordered Door Dash. You can see in the clip he was ushered out of the area by an arena staffer, who told him, "You've got to get off the court, man!"
Some speculated it was all part of a prank -- noting the person was wearing a microphone.
Either way, Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot said afterward it was one of the most surreal scenes he's ever been a part of.

Matt Barnes Gets TRO Against Fiancée's Ex ... After Spitting Incident

Matt Barnes is getting court-ordered protection from his fiancée's ex-husband ... after the former NBA champ said the guy had terrorized him in the lead-up to a wild spitting incident at the 49ers game on Sunday.
Barnes got a judge to sign off on a temporary restraining order against David Patterson Jr. on Wednesday ... just days after he spat on the man in a concourse at Levi's Stadium before the S.F. vs Dallas playoff game.
Barnes' TRO is slated to last until Feb. 16 -- when a hearing on the matter will go down in Los Angeles.
As part of the order, 37-year-old Patterson Jr. is required to have no contact with Barnes ... and must stay at least 100 yards away from the ex-Golden State Warriors forward. Patterson Jr. has also been ordered to have no firearms.
As we reported, 42-year-old Barnes initially filed for the TRO on Tuesday -- after he alleged Patterson Jr. had made his life hell the past few months.
Barnes claimed in his TRO application that Patterson Jr. was "jealous of my relationship with my ex-wife" ... and had harassed him repeatedly. At one point, according to Barnes, Patterson Jr. had threatened to shoot him with a gun.
Barnes also claimed in the documents that Patterson Jr. "hunted" him down at the 49ers game on Sunday ... and "aggressively confronted" him. Barnes said the guy yelled profanities and threats, and shoved him. It all ultimately led to Barnes spitting on him.
Barnes said in the documents he was worried Patterson Jr. has been "trying to bait me to damage my reputation and hurt my career."
