Unclear why Johnny Bananas was in Boca Raton, Florida training with NFLers Mark Ingram, Carl Lawson and the Pouncey twins ... but, the MTV show's star openly accepted the invitation for the beatdown when it all went down.

Egged on by Ingram ... Bananas tried pass rushing on the Pounceys -- who are anchors on the Steelers' and Chargers' O-lines -- and the reps didn't go well for Johnny.

J.B. was thrown to the turf a couple times ... and, at one point -- he was run from the field to the wall by Mike!!

Bananas wasn't better in pass pro either ... getting blown up when trying to block Bengals stud Lawson.

J.B.'s probably best to stick with competing against dudes his own size on his reality TV show -- new season premiered Tuesday night.

12:15 PM PT -- We're told the workout with the players was part of a show Bananas is shooting for NBC.

Here's the police body cam footage of Arizona Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim -- who told cops he only had 2 beers on July 4 ... but, refused to take a breathalyzer test.

Keim was pulled over in Chandler, Arizona after cops said he was swerving in his truck and almost hit a curb while making a turn.

During the stop, Keim told cops he only had 2 beers that evening -- along with some pizza.

The cops weren't convinced he was sober.

Keim told the officers he couldn't do any walking sobriety tests due to a messed up knee -- so, cops made him do the "follow my pen with your eye" test instead. He bombed that.

When cops asked him to take a breathalyzer, he refused ... telling the officer, "Nah. I'm not gonna do that."

Here's Floyd Mayweather trying to make peace with the city of Atlanta -- a place where, the last time he was spotted, he was SHOT AT!!

Floyd sat courtside to watch the Hawks' Summer League game in Vegas on Wednesday ... and, when their newest superstar, Trae Young, balled out -- the boxing legend invited him for a postgame chat.

Now, roughly 44 years later ... Johnson is giving himself a well-deserved pat on the back.

That was the situation at Avra Beverly Hills on Wednesday night -- where the newest L.A. Lakers star broke bread with two of the most powerful men in Hollywood.

And, get this ... it seems Leonardo DiCaprio tried to run interference for Al and Bron -- because after the meal, Leo went out the front while the other two guys went out the back!

Of course, Leo is a massive Lakers fan who's been a regular at Staples Center over the years -- maybe Pacino is a fan of "Trainwreck"?

BTW -- LeBron's business partner, Maverick Carter, was also there (in the jean jacket) ... so yeah, this dinner was more business than pleasure.

No word on who paid (or expensed) the bill.

LeBron James is already making moves in Hollywood -- the newest Lakers star just sold a movie project to Paramount Players ... and he's making a play for the starring role.

The project is a comedy movie, according to Variety ... which says Bron has been developing the flick with his production company, SpringHill Entertainment, and writer Steve Mallory.

Mallory wrote the Melissa McCarthy movie "The Boss" and he's working on her next project, "Superintelligence."

LeBron is producing the flick with his business partner, Maverick Carter.

It's not Bron's first big Hollywood deal -- he's already got a "House Party" reboot in the works and is working on the new "Space Jam" movie.

7/12 -- Schnatter has now also resigned as chairman of Papa John's International.

Papa John's founder John Schnatter is quitting his post at the University of Louisville after he was called out for using the n-word during a meeting to, ironically, discuss his comeback from a different controversy.

Schnatter resigned from the University's Board of Trustees Wednesday hours after the NAACP called for him to step down ... on the heels of Schnatter confirming reports he dropped the racial epithet back in May. The pizza mogul was on a conference call with a marketing agency he'd hired to help him deal with the blowback he faced for criticizing the NFL's national anthem policy.

Forbes reported Schnatter questioned why he was being criticized, because "Colonel Sanders called blacks n***ers" and got away with it. He also reportedly spoke nonchalantly about growing up in Indiana where black people were dragged to death.

The University of Louisville said it doesn't condone racism ... but added it doesn't think Schnatter's comments "reflect his personal beliefs or values."

Cardinals superstar David Johnson's out to prove he's back ... and he's doing so by throwing nearly half a thousand pounds ON his back!

The stud RB put 495 pounds on the barbell Wednesday and squatted it ... THREE TIMES!!

Cardi B's a new mama after delivering a beautiful baby girl into the world.

Cardi had her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, Tuesday night in an Atlanta hospital, named partly after hubby/daddy Offset's real name -- Kiari Cephus -- who was by her side the whole time.

TMZ broke the story in February ... members of Cardi's team were telling people she was pregnant during Super Bowl weekend, but the rapper went to ridiculously great lengths to keep her growing bump under wraps.

She finally made the big reveal during her performance on 'SNL' in April. Cardi was determined to keep working as long as possible, and followed through by rocking the Coachella stage while very preggo.

This is Cardi B's first child, and Offset's fourth.

As we first reported, Cardi and the Migos rapper were secretly married back in September, but they're still planning to throw a wedding party later this year.

Surveillance video shows George Clooney on his scooter smashing head-on into a sedan, and how terrifyingly high he was launched into the air.

TMZ broke the story ... George was doing 60 mph when the Mercedes-Benz cut him off, but this video -- recorded by a nearby surveillance cam -- shows the Oscar winner was thrown nearly 20 feet straight up above the Benz.

You can see Clooney come smashing back down to the ground after the collision. He landed just inches from the front of a truck waiting at the intersection. The video shows something else that's new -- a second scooter. Someone riding next to George narrowly dodged the car, just milliseconds before he wrecked.

As we reported, George was briefly hospitalized for bruising on his arm, leg and pelvis.

Ex-Seattle Seahawks star Brandon Browner has been charged with attempted murder for trying to kill his ex-girlfriend ... officials say.

Browner has been hit with 1 count each of attempted murder, first-degree residential robbery, first-degree burglary, person present, and false imprisonment. He also faces two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to a child.

Officials say Browner broke into his former GF's apartment in La Verne, CA on July 8 and allegedly chased the victim, dragged her and then smothered her in a carpet.

Her two children were present when the alleged abuse occurred.

Browner is accused of stealing the victim's Rolex watch. He fled the residence but was later arrested.

Bail has been set at $10 million. If convicted as charged, Browner faces a possible maximum life sentence in state prison.

Browner is a former Pro Bowl cornerback who was part of the original Legion of Boom defense. He won one Super Bowl with the Seahawks and one with the Patriots.

Ex-UCLA star and renowned basketball trainer Billy Knight was found dead in Phoenix on Sunday after posting an apparent video suicide note ... cops confirm to TMZ Sports.

The 39-year-old posted a YouTube video early Sunday morning saying it was "probably my last message on Earth" ... and noting, "My time is up."

In the video, an emotional Knight talks about depression and apologizes to friends and family. He also advises people suffering from mental illness to seek help, so they don't end up like him.

Shortly after the video was posted, the Phoenix P.D. says officers found Knight's body in a roadway in downtown Phoenix.

Officers say, "No evidence of foul play was detected," but the body has been sent to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.

Knight broke out at UCLA in 2001 -- when he started all 33 games and averaged 14 points on 46 percent shooting from the floor.

After going undrafted in 2002, he played in the NBA's D-league for a bit before heading overseas.

The news of Knight's death has rocked the basketball community ... with ex-NBA star Matt Barnes saying, "Rest Easy My Brotha! Your summer time beach workouts had me in the best shape of my life to start every season!"

The Milton Police Dept. says the violent incident at LeSean McCoy's Georgia home early Monday morning was NOT random ... they believe it was "specifically targeted."

"The preliminary investigation indicates that this residence was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects, and not a random incident," the Milton PD tells TMZ Sports.

"When officers arrived they found one victim who had been physically assaulted by a lone intruder."

"During the altercation, the suspect demanded specific items from the victim."

"An adult female victim was treated and released at North Fulton Regional Hospital. A second adult female victim also sustained a minor injury during the incident."

"Milton detectives are continuing their investigation."

Cops have NOT identified any suspects -- or insinuated LeSean is involved in any way. No arrests have been made either.

Cops did not name the alleged victims -- but one woman has already been identified on social media through friends and family members as Delicia Cordon, McCoy's ex-girlfriend.

Cordon's friends and family have made it clear they believe McCoy is responsible for the attack.

For his part, McCoy has denied any involvement -- calling allegations "baseless and offensive."

Emergency personnel were dispatched to LeSean McCoy's Georgia house early Monday morning for a "home invasion" -- and the operator says the female victim was hit in the head.

In the audio, obtained by TMZ Sports, the operator sends police and medical personnel to the home around 3:23 AM ET ... saying, "It's gonna be in reference to a female who was assaulted, hit in the head and locked in the bathroom."

"We do have [police] in route in reference to a home invasion where a phone was taken."

As we previously reported, the alleged victim is LeSean's ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon. Her friends and family members have gone to social media and accused McCoy of carrying out the attack.
