Charlamagne Tha God's no chump on the radio, and if his direct questioning makes things awkward with a guest or leads to a death threat or 2 ... so be it.

We caught up with Charlamagne in NYC and asked him about tense confrontations ... like the one he just had with Beanie Sigel on "The Breakfast Club" where the rapper not only told him to stop running his mouth -- he issued a thinly veiled threat of real street violence.

Donald Trump is not backing down from ripping Republicans who yank their support for him, and he just took at big swipe at John McCain.

Trump was on Bill O'Reilly's show Tuesday night, and when Bill tried to ask if he planned to patch things up with GOP heavyweights pissed about the leaked "Access Hollywood" tape ... The Donald went off.

Trump pretty much called Sen. McCain a foulmouthed hypocrite, and he got a shot in at Paul Ryan too ... just for good measure.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Stevie J is suing his ex, Joseline Hernandez for her repeated accusations he molested his daughter, and is a devil-worshipping gay man.

Stevie J says his ex has been on a smear campaign and even enlisted a former nanny for his child to post similar allegations on social media ... according to the defamation suit, obtained by TMZ.

Stevie says Joseline's gone as far as calling Georgia's Division of Family and Children Services accusing him of sexual abuse. You'll recall Joseline posted a message to her 1.9 million followers, claiming Stevie molested the daughter he shares with Mimi Faust.

According to the docs, Joseline accused him of being gay and a devil-worshiper ... which Stevie says has damaged his reputation and exposed him to public hatred and ridicule.

They've trashed each other for YEARS -- but boxing superstar Deontay Wilder is putting his feud with Tyson Fury on hold ... saying he truly wants Fury to get help for his cocaine problem so he doesn't die.

TMZ Sports spoke with Wilder -- who tells us the "real" Tyson Fury is not the monster you see in the media ... "He really is a good dude."

Wilder says he was really impacted when he learned about Fury's drug problem and suicidal thoughts -- and says he's even willing to fly to England to lend his support to his embattled rival.

That being said, Wilder still wants to beat the hell out of him ... saying, "We didn’t promote [a possible fight] this many years to be beat behind some kind of drug activity."

In the past, Fury has threatened to sexually assault Wilder.

Wilder said he was going to baptize Fury with his fists.

There's no inner war between Washington Wizards teammates Bradley Beal and John Wall -- so says NBA superstar Paul Pierce, who says reports of a feud between the two are straight-up wrong.

Wall has said in the past that "we have a tendency to dislike each other on the court" -- but said their issues are resolvable as long as they come together and talk things out.

But Pierce -- who played for the Wizards during the '14/'15 season -- says straight-up, "They definitely get along. I was there."

Anything to the contrary, according to Pierce -- "False reports."

By the way, Pierce was leaving new L.A. hot spot, Catch -- and it's clear he's a V.I.P. because during the clip, the owner, Mark Birnbaum, promised to put his picture on the wall in the restaurant.

Don't expect Dan Henderson and Conor McGregor to catch a beer together any time soon.

The UFC legend joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Thursday night on FS1) -- and told us why McGregor just rubs him the wrong way.

Don't get it twisted, Hendo says he respects McGregor as a fighter -- but his personality ... let's just say the two don't click.

The Toronto Raptors will NOT ban Meek Mill music from the locker room this season -- despite the fact his rival, Drake, works for the team ... so says Patrick Patterson.

The rift between D'Angelo Russell and his former Lakers coach Byron Scott is irreparable -- so says Scott who tells TMZ Sports he doesn't want a relationship with the NBA star moving forward.

Russell has been taking thinly veiled shots at Scott recently -- essentially blaming him for his lackluster rookie season.

"Everything I went through was new, and there was no guidance from the people that were supposed to give me the guidance," Russell told the L.A. Times.

So, when we saw Scott out in L.A. Thursday night, we asked how he felt about the youngster -- and he basically told us he doesn't care ... and isn't looking to be friends with the 20-year-old.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been in the throes of settlement negotiations almost from the start ... but it got rocky early on when Brad pulled the plug ... sources familiar with the case tell TMZ.

Our sources say both sides wanted a quick end to what could become a contentious divorce. Jolie set the stage by asking for sole physical custody after Brad lunged and made contact with 15-year-old Maddox on a private jet.

We're told when TMZ broke the story about the incident in the air, Brad felt Angelina's people leaked the story and said he was done negotiating. But our sources say shortly thereafter, negotiations resumed.

We're told there are 4 elements to the settlement discussions:

-- Custody and visitation

-- Temporary support for Angelina and the kids

-- Permanent financial support

-- Property split

We're told the first 2 items are well on their way to resolution, with one big hitch. TMZ broke the story ... the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the jet incident, and any settlement must conform to the eventual DCFS recommendations.

Our sources say the 3rd and 4th elements have not been resolved.

The woman who claims Chris Brown pulled a gun on her got a hysterical assist from Breezy in her quest to win a beauty pageant.

Baylee Curran was a contestant in the Miss Greater Inland Empire Pageant -- it's a prelim for Miss California -- and when it came time for the evening gown competition last weekend, she got a sweet and serendipitous surprise.

The DJ had a great sense of humor because he threw on CB's "Don't Wake Me Up." Watch the video ... you gotta laugh.

The pageant director tells TMZ the song choice was purely a coincidence. People in the audience say it didn't appear Baylee noticed, but she was upset about something else.

We're told she didn't even place in the competition, so she stormed out early. Still a better exit than the one she made at Chris' house.

Kylie Jenner's phone number was shut down after Rob Kardashian leaked it -- and it won't be up for grabs again 'til next September ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for Verizon -- where Kylie had her phone plan -- tells us it's going beyond its usual policy of reassigning a disconnected number after 50 days. In this case, they're jumping straight to their max period ... one full year.

We broke the story ... Rob leaked Kylie's number Monday night after a baby shower mishap. As a shot to Kylie, who he apparently thought was to blame, he tweeted her digits for the world to see.

Verizon tells us they're quick to change a number if a customer complains about getting unwanted or harassing calls or texts. Kylie isn't getting any special treatment ... she just meets that criteria. Now they've moved to take it down and out of circulation for 12 months.

Meanwhile, you shouldn't waste your time trying to call Kylie ... her hotline won't bling.

Sources close to the former couple tell TMZ ... shortly after Taylor and Tom Hiddleston broke up, Taylor and Calvin started texting and put an end to their drama.

Anthony Michael Hall takes delight in squirting his next-door neighbor with a water hose, but now he's been ordered to knock it off ... according to court docs.

We broke the story ... the 'Breakfast Club' star was allegedly caught on video getting in the neighbor's face, shoving him to the ground and breaking his wrist.

In docs obtained by TMZ, the neighbor says that attack is just the most recent. Additionally, he says Hall shoots him menacing looks and frequently uses his hose to spray him and his patio. He went to court for a temporary restraining order, and the judge sided with him ... instructing Hall to stop all harassment.

These guys are like the new Hatfields and McCoys -- Hall was arrested for disturbing the peace in 2011, and the neighbor says he was involved in that case too.

UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens vows REVENGE against Conor McGregor for trashing him at the UFC 205 media event -- telling TMZ Sports he'll "mop the floor" with the Irish superstar.

Conor dissed the hell out of Stephens during the event -- when he turned to the UFC veteran and shouted, "Who the fuck is that guy?!"

The clip went viral -- but now, Stephens is firing back in a scathing statement in which he refers to Conor as "McClown" -- and blasts him as a "bully" who can't hold his own against real fighters.

"Media and UFC like to fuel this guy's fictional character to always bully and disrespect other fighters like it's funny," Stephens says.

"I can't accept that and will mop the floor with him."

He adds, "I've been humbling bullies and disrespectful guys like him since grade school."

There's a lot more in the full statement (see below) -- Stephens clearly hopes to settle the score with Conor inside the Octagon.

By the way, Stephens ain't no bitch -- he's been fighting in the UFC since 2007 and is currently the #7 ranked featherweight.

Ronda Rousey is a coward with no heart -- so says Cris "Cyborg" Justino who tells TMZ Sports if Ronda wants to fight, she's all the way down!

As we previously reported, Dana White says Ronda "absolutely, positively" wants to get in the Octagon with Cyborg -- who's emerging as one of the most dominant fighters in the entire UFC.

We reached out to Cyborg for her thoughts on the situation -- here's what she told us:

"Ronda [is a] coward ... I'll fight her anytime next year."

"You can have all the money in the world, I have something money can't buy ... warrior heart."

She added, "I'm no coward."

"Ronda doesn't want to fight me. She's afraid to say my name in an interview so she has Dana White tell the story for her."
