MJ Fan Group Gunning to Shut Down Vault Website

Published | Updated

A group of Michael Jackson fans have banded together and fired off a scathing letter to the people behind JacksonSecretVault.com -- calling for the site to stop the "exploitation of Michael Jackson, his grieving mother, his beloved children and his legacy."

The letter contains a laundry list of complaints against the site, among their objections:

-- The exploitation of Michael’s elderly mother in the marketing, selling and merchandising from the Jackson Vault.

-- The use and brokering of Michael Jackson’s children to promote events, merchandise and interviews.

-- The use of the demeaning term, “Jacko” in the Jackson Vault website and press release. A degrading term that Michael himself, spoke openly against and thought was insulting.

This has all come about because of the release of a song on JacksonSecretVault.com -- which was first billed as a new song that had the blessing of Katherine Jackson ... but was later determined to be neither.

The Real Poop On Rachel Uchitel

Published | Updated

Rachel Uchitel has got some nerve suing a recovery center for her security deposit after her doggie
allegedly treated the joint like its own personal toilet.

Uchitel filed a small claims suit this week against Oceanside Traditional Living in Malibu -- her second lawsuit against the facility in a month -- claiming they're refusing to refund her $1,500 security deposit.

But a rep for the Oceanside paints a very different picture. They tell us Rachel's pup peed and pooped with abandon and she didn't clean it up.

Oceanside tells us it took a professional carpet and couch cleaner to get the stench out.

Let's hope there is no "Exhibit A."

Sony to Katherine Jackson: You're Wrong About MJ

Published | Updated

Sony Music isn't buying the claim of Katherine Jackson and two of Michael Jackson's kids ... that some of the tracks on a soon-to-be-released MJ album are fake -- because one of the tracks in question is about to be released on michaeljackson.com on Monday.

The song -- "Breaking News" -- was recorded in 2007, at the New Jersey home of Eddie Cascio. Jackson and his kids lived in the house for 4 months while Michael was recording. We're told Prince, Paris and Katherine now believe the Cascio tracks are fake -- not Michael's voice.

But Sony has done a bunch of voice authentications, and the record company is convinced it's the real deal. So a teaser will be released tomorrow, and the full song will be on the MJ website for one week, beginning Monday.

We're told 3 tracks recorded at the Cascio house will be included on the full album, which will be released on December 14.

David Cassidy -- Busted for DUI

Published

Former "Partridge Family" star David Cassidy was arrested in Florida last night on suspicion of DUI ... after cops found a half empty bottle of bourbon in his 2008 Mercedes.

The 60-year-old former teen idol was spotted weaving on and off the road a number of times on Florida's Turnpike around 8:00 PM ... and was eventually pulled over by a member of the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to cops, Cassidy told the trooper that he'd had a glass of wine around lunch time and popped a hydrocodone painkiller a few hours before the arrest.

In his report, The trooper claims he instructed Cassidy to get out of the car -- and dude was "swaying while standing." Cassidy took a breath test and blew a 0.139 and 0.141 -- way over the .08 legal limit.

The trooper then searched the car and turned up a half empty bottle of Labrot Graham Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon in the back seat.

We're told Cassidy was taken to a nearby jail and booked for DUI. He was released this morning at 3:22 AM on a $350 bond.

David Cassidy is adamant that he was NOT hammered on booze when he got behind the wheel in Florida last night ... and says he plans to fight the DUI charges tooth and nail.

David's rep, Jo-Ann Geffen, tells TMZ ... the former teen idol admits he did take a pain pill for his back earlier in the day -- and may have been tired from an early morning funeral he had to attend -- but he definitely wasn't drunk.

Cassidy is also disputing the results of the two breathalyzer tests he took at the time of arrest -- insisting his true blood alcohol content was not properly measured.

Cassidy's rep tells us the actor is already on the hunt for a lawyer and plans to fight the charges adding, "He would never jeopardize anyone on the road and he would not have been driving had he not had to go to a funeral ... he's never been arrested in his life before for anything."

Oksana Grigorieva's lawyer accused Mel Gibson during his deposition Monday of clenching his fist ... but the judge ruled there was absolutely no proof it happened.

Here's what we know ... The deposition got so contentious and loud among the lawyers ... people in the office building heard the noise. Sources say at one point, Oksana's lawyer, Daniel Horowitz, accused Mel of winking at him -- a comment the judge promptly struck from the record.

Horowitz then said on the record ... he believed Mel clenched his left fist. Again, the judge struck the comment from the record.

What's interesting ... the proof is in the video, which was rolling during the whole depo. But as far as we know, there's no evidence Mel clenched it.

Levi Johnston: Palin Not Qualified for Presidency

Published | Updated

Levi Johnston is once again going after his baby mama's mama -- telling TMZ he believes Sarah Palin is "not qualified" to be the next President of the United States of America.

Levi -- who's plotting his own quest for public office in Wasilla, Alaska -- is responding to a statement Palin made earlier this week in which she said she would run for Prez, "If there's nobody else to do it."

Johnston tells us, "That makes no sense because someone always runs for President" ... adding, "[Sarah] wouldn't go through with a campaign even if she was nominated."

As for Johnston's political stance -- we're told Levi's "leaning towards McAdams" ... the Democratic candidate for Senate in Alaska ... who's running against Palin-backed Republican Joe Miller.

Oprah's big interview with MJ's kids -- Prince, Paris, and Blanket -- is scheduled to air next Monday ... but according to Oprah's website, the talk show host is airing a show the Friday before entitled "200 Adult Men Who Were Molested Come Forward."

Interestingly ... the Jacksons had beef with Oprah over her programming decisions back in 2005 ... when she did a show on pedophilia during jury deliberations in Michael Jackson's molestation trial.

A rep for Oprah's production company tells TMZ, "There is no connection whatsoever between the two shows. This is purely coincidental."
