Alabama Football Hangin' With Trump ... National Title Visit

Published | Updated

Donald Trump honored the Alabama Crimson Tide's national title at the White House Tuesday afternoon ... all the while praising their state for helping him win the 2016 election.

Nick Saban and the crew hit 1600 Pennsylvania Ave to celebrate their crazy win over Georgia back in January ... in which Tua Tagovailoa came off the bench and torched the Bulldogs in the OT thriller.

While Trump says he was impressed with the Tide's 3-point win, he boasts about his 32-point win in the Heart of Dixie in 2016 ... and says he's proud of how the players represent the "great, great state."

BTW -- POTUS took the easy way out and bailed on pronouncing Tua's last name ... but you can't really blame him for that.

Dana White Conor McGregor Is '100%' Fighting ... This Year!!

Published | Updated

Conor McGregor didn’t step up to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223, but Dana White says it’s a “100%” certainty the Irishman fights in the Octagon again -- THIS YEAR.

But, bad news for Conor – he won’t be coming back a UFC champion.

Dana just dropped the bombshell at the news conference for UFC 223 in Brooklyn .... confirming McGregor will continue his MMA career sometime in 2018.

But, as the UFC prez has told us in the past, Conor's gonna have to drop his 155-pound belt as soon as Khabib and Max Holloway get it on at 223.

As for McGregor's opponent -- Dana didn't say. But, the winner of Khabib vs. Max for the UFC lightweight title would make sense as Conor’s matchup.

Khabib and Max also got in their shots at the Q&A sesh ... with Khabib mocking Holloway for thinking he stands a chance against him.

That got Max FIRED UP ... and we got a feeling Khabib's in for a serious scrap come Saturday.

ABUSE OF POWER

The woman accusing Fred Savage of harassment and assault claims he targeted other women and it was widely known.

YoungJoo Hwang, a costume designer on the set of the TV show, "The Grinder," appeared at a news conference Wednesday morning flanked by her attorney, Anahita Sedaghatfar of the Cochran Firm and and went into more detail about the lawsuit against Savage for harassment, assault, battery and discrimination.

Hwang -- who says she was inspired by the #MeToo movement -- claims Fred was aggressive towards her, cursed at her and was demeaning from the moment she started working on the show. She alleges she's not the only woman Savage targeted and was encouraged not to report the conduct "because a lot of people would lose their jobs."

Sedaghatfar claimed 20th Century Fox has, to this date, not conducted a full investigation into Hwang's claims and wouldn't say whether her client's filed a report with LAPD

As we reported ... Savage says Hwang's accusations are without merit and absolutely untrue, and claims they were investigated but ... "None of her claims could be substantiated because they did not happen."

EMOTIONAL ACCOUNT

One of 2 women who came forward accusing Steven Seagal of sexual assault claims he raped her when she was in her late teens and took her virginity.

Regina Simons was flanked by her attorney, Lisa Bloom, at a news conference Monday when she claimed Seagal invited her to his home 25 years ago for what he called a "wrap party" for "On Deadly Ground." She claims no one else was there, and Seagal took her into a bedroom, kissed her neck and then raped her.

Regina added she'd never been naked in front of another man before, and when it was over ... she claims Seagal offered her money. The second accuser, Faviola Dadis, accused Seagal of sexually assaulting her when she was 17.

Faviola says the alleged assault happened in 2002 at Beverly Hills W Hotel. She claims Seagal pinched her nipples, slid his hand under her bikini and touched her vagina during an audition.

Bloom wouldn't say if they'll sue Seagal, but all legal options remain open. She added, she nor Regina and Faviola, have spoken to Seagal, but they've reported the incidents to LAPD.

This is the first time Regina and Faviola spoke about the alleged encounters, although it's not the first time Seagal's been accused of sexual misconduct. As we've reported ... Portia de Rossi claimed Seagal put her on a casting couch and unzipped his leather pants.

Julianna Margulies claims she had a hotel room meeting with Seagal in the '80s, and he brandished a gun, but didn't touch her before she fled.

Jon Jones Hearing for Steroid Punishment

Published | Updated

12:42 PM PT -- Andy Foster is recommending a $205,000 fine -- 40-percent of Jones’ purse and $5,000 in additional fines ... and recommends his license is revoked until USADA determines its punishment.

12:06 PM PT -- Jon says he never completed USADA anti-doping tutorials ... despite the fact he signed paperwork saying he did.

Jones says his management team took the tutorials for him and then forged his signature.

11:53 AM PT -- When asked about his use of sex enhancement supplements, Jones said, "I've had quite a bit of experience with Cialis and Viagra over the years."

11:49 AM PT -- Jones was asked what assurances he can give the commission that this won't happen again. Jones says he doesn't know how to answer the question because he didn't intentionally cheat in the first place.

Jones says, "My luck has been terrible when it comes to USADA."

11:48 AM PT -- Jon says he still wants to fight Daniel Cormier again. "I want to get that belt from Cormier."

11:44 AM PT -- "I've really tried everything in my power to get my life together."

Jon also says he's not a "screw up" and understands he's a role model for kids. He says he might be a knucklehead, but he's NOT a cheater.

11:41 AM PT -- "I have no clue how this happened."

11:40 AM PT -- Jon says he thought about who could have intentionally contaminated his supplements ... suggesting an enemy may have tried to take him down.

11:38 AM PT -- Jon says his nutritionist worked hard to make sure everything he took was clean and USADA approved.

11:34 AM PT -- Jon is testifying. He says he was very confused by the positive steroid test. Says he had to take a close look at the people around him to see if anyone would have contaminated his workout supplements.

10:24 AM PT -- Jon's attorney says the UFC fighter is not fighting the positive test, but he thinks the heavy $200,000 fine and revocation of his license is too harsh of a penalty.

Jon's attorney said, "He did not knowingly take the substance. He does not know where it came from."

The revocation would essentially last 1 year -- with Jones being able to reapply after 1 year has passed. The CA Athletic Commission would then decide to continue the suspension for another year or lift it.

Jon Jones is about to find out if he'll be SUSPENDED from fighting in the state of California over a failed UFC 214 steroid test.

He's about to face the California State Athletic Commission ... and we're livestreaming the whole thing.

TMZ Sports broke the news ... Jones tested positive for the anabolic steroid Turinabol in a test administered in July -- the day before he beat Daniel Cormier in Anaheim to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight championship.

Of course, Jones was stripped of his title -- and now he's facing up to $200,000 in fines (40% of his fight purse) and a possible suspension from the CSAC.

If the CSAC suspends Jones' license, he can't reapply until one year has passed from the date of revocation.

Jones is also facing punishment from another agency -- USADA -- which could hit him with a possible 4-year suspension. Jones is expected to meet with USADA later this year. There's no guarantee USADA's punishment will match the CSAC punishment.

The complication for Jones ... this is his 2nd offense. He tested positive for 2 banned substances prior to UFC 200 in Las Vegas in 2016 ... resulting in a 1-year suspension from USADA and the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The CSAC meeting is set to begin at 10 AM PT ... with Jones' hearing 5th on the agenda.

As we previously reported, Joey Fatone told us he wasn't going to Minnesota to perform in the show.

Miss America Cara Mund was also in the house ... and she asked a question while rockin' her tiara.

JT also said his goal is to get Al Michaels to "shake his booty" -- and teased that he'll be performing 'Can't Stop the Feeling.'

As TMZ Sports reported, the guys stole from MULTIPLE STORES -- not just Louis Vuitton -- and LiAngelo Ball acknowledged that in his apology.

"I'm sorry for stealing from the stores in China."

All three men said they were extremely sorry for shoplifting -- didn't dispute the allegations one bit -- and promised they will redeem themselves moving forward.

WE'RE SORRY

Each player thanked Trump by name for the work he did behind the scenes.

Head coach Steve Alford announced all 3 players are suspended indefinitely -- will not practice, suit up or travel with the team until a complete review is done by school officials.

Sounds like there is a chance the guys will still be allowed to play this season -- as Alford did not give a timeline for their return.

UCLA apologized to Alibaba -- founded by Jack Ma. As we previously reported, Ma also put in work behind the scenes to get the boys back to America.

The Pittsburgh Penguins stopped by the White House to celebrate their latest Stanley Cup title Tuesday ... and President Trump took a jab at the Golden State Warriors right off the bat.

"By the way, everybody wanted to be here today," Trump said ... clearly referring to his beef with Steph Curry and uninviting the Dubs to the Oval Office.

Sidney Crosby and Co. were front and center while POTUS put out his best jokes ... from admitting he hated standing in front of the attractive bunch, to asking owner Ronald Burkle to negotiate "some of our horrible trade deals."

MESSAGE TO AMERICANS

President Trump just addressed the nation on television for the first time since the mass shooting in Vegas.

In a response from The White House, Trump praised first responders and expressed his sympathy for the victims, their families and those injured during the attack.

Trump offered his "warmest condolences and sympathies" early Monday morning on Twitter after 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire to a crowd of more than 20,000 concertgoers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort. At least 58 are dead and more than 500 people were rushed to hospitals.

Jason Aldean was in the middle of a performance late Sunday night when bullets rained down. Paddock, who cops say had more than 10 rifles in his room, shot and killed himself.

Trump called the LVMPD to thank them for their efforts.

DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT

Donald Trump says Deshaun Watson is going to be a great pro, Hunter Renfrow is "lucky" he caught the game-winning TD and Bill Belichick loves him some Dabo Swinney.

That's the Cliffs Notes version of Trump's speech to the Clemson Tigers football team at the White House on Monday ... where POTUS congratulated the guys for winning the National Championship.

Trump called out several players from the crowd to come up -- including ex-Tigers QB Desean Watson, who was flown into D.C. by the owners of his new team, the Houston Texans.

Trump also called the National Championship game against Alabama one of the greatest football games he's ever seen.

Overall, lots of praise from Trump -- but none of the zingers/dad jokes Barack Obama was known for delivering.

What's also cool ... the Secret Service agent who greeted the team is ex-Tigers WR Kevin Youngblood -- who played for Clemson in the early 2000's (and had a short stint in the NFL) before dedicating his life to protecting POTUS.

She added, "Being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. This is painful and it will be for a long time."

Hillary went on to thank, with extremely heartfelt words, the women who've put their faith in her -- "Nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion."

JON BREAKS DOWN

Jon Jones wept openly while insisting he never knowingly cheated by taking performance-enhancing drugs, and vowed to return to the UFC.

Surprisingly, Jones opened his news conference by apologizing to Daniel Cormier for ruining their long-awaited rematch that was supposed to go down Saturday at UFC 200.

Jones says he "can't even pronounce" the drug the UFC says showed up in a blood test he took in June. He would not say the drug by name, but said he has no idea how it ended up in his system.

Jones says he will "go through the process" and try to find out what caused the dirty test. He admitted to taking a few supplements, but said he didn't think they were performance-enhancing.

At one point, he got so emotional, he walked out of the room. He returned several minutes later, but then couldn't hold back tears when he was asked if he'd spoken to Cormier.
