Bryce Dallas Howard My Dad Won't Even Let Me Audition ... 'Give Me a Shot, Dude!!'

WHERE'S THE LOVE, DAD?

11/27 8:40 AM PT -- Soooo ... either Bryce has a bad memory, or she didn't actually audition for the first FOUR movies of her career. BDH started acting professionally with small roles in "Parenthood," "Apollo 13," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "A Beautiful Mind" ... all Ron Howard directed films.

They were bit roles, for sure. She's uncredited in 2 of them, and none of her characters even have names -- but point is she's been in Dad's movies.

Now the question is ... why hasn't Ron hired her since 2001??

Bryce Dallas Howard can't buy a break in Hollywood ... not when it comes to one super picky director in town -- namely her Oscar-winning father, Ron Howard.

Not that she NEEDS any help from dear ol' dad -- after all Bryce starred in "Jurassic World," one of the biggest movies of all time. Still, when we saw her Monday at LAX, we wondered if Ron let's her audition for any of his films.

We all know nepotism is rampant in showbiz, but Bryce kinda shocked us with her answer. In fact, she says she's lobbied papa Howard plenty of times for roles in his movies, but gets the same answer every time.

Here's the thing ... Bryce has already established her talent on her own, so it'd be hard for anyone to accuse Ron of playing favorites at this point. What we're saying is, c'mon, Ron!

Or, as Bryce put it, "Just give me a shot, dude!"

Alicia Silverstone Divorce Paying Ex-Husband $12k Per Month

Published | Updated

Alicia Silverstone's divorce agreement calls for her to pay her ex-husband spousal support -- but she's included a clause that gets her out of it sooner than usual.

Alicia and Chris Jarecki's divorce was finalized earlier this month, and according to docs ... she'll be forking out $12,000 each month to him in spousal support. They've also agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son Bear Blu.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Alicia and Chris have agreed on a "cohabitation" clause. It means she will stop paying Chris if he shacks up with someone for 5 months within a 1 year period. Normally, spousal support has to pay until the other person gets married.

Clearly, Alicia wanted to make sure Chris couldn't slow play a new relationship ... just to keep getting the $12k monthly.

The exes were married for almost 13 years. For what it's worth, her rep says Alicia and Chris are "still close friends."

Bernardo Bertolucci 'Last Tango' Director Dead at 77

Published | Updated

Oscar winner Bernardo Bertolucci -- who directed Marlon Brando in "Last Tango in Paris" -- died Monday at his home in Rome.

Bernardo was surrounded by his family when he passed, according to his office. No cause of death was released.

The Italian director, hailed as one of the country's best ever, made his name with 'Last Tango' in 1972 -- which was banned in several countries, including Italy, for its erotic and brutal sex scenes.

Despite the controversy, Bertolucci and Brando were both nominated for Oscars for the graphic film about a middle-aged man's sexual relationship with a much younger woman.

However, he didn't win an Academy Award until 1988's "The Last Emperor." Bernardo won the Oscars that year for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. His final feature film was "Me and You," a 2012 release in Italy.

He was also awarded lifetime achievement awards at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals.

Bertolucci was 77.

Adam Sandler Robbie Hart's Back for a Wedding ... Loses the Tux for Gym Wear

Published | Updated

Adam Sandler reprised one of his best roles at a wedding for a lucky bride and groom, except this time he wasn't crooning about how much love stinks ... just hoopin'.

The newly hitched couple, Tatiana and Karan, hit up a park Saturday in Boca Raton, FL -- where they were set to take pictures with Palm Beach Photography -- and the pair noticed a familiar face on the basketball court ... none other than Robbie Hart himself.

We're told Karan asked Adam if he was up for taking a photo -- an official wedding photo, no less -- and he happily obliged. Granted, he wasn't suited and booted like he was in the 1998 cult comedy classic -- but he posed for a photo-op anyway ... sweat and all.

And when we say sweat ... we mean it. The dude was completely drenched, as you can see more clearly in this shot he took with the photog herself. Gotta go hard when you're reppin' 23, right?

And, of course, since we're talking Sandler and weddings, here's a little mood music for ya. Tatiana and Karan are newlyweds ... WHOOPITY DOO!!!

Chris Pratt, Katherine Schwarzenegger Just Horsin' Around ... For Thanksgiving

Published | Updated

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger got all Kennedy fam for Thanksgiving ... goofing around and playing a little football.

Katherine and mom Maria Shriver spent Thanksgiving morning on a hike and then watched as the guys got into it with the pigskin.

It's actually a momentous and sad day in the Kennedy family ... 55 years ago yesterday, Maria's uncle, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas. Football is a significant sport because JFK and the brood always played during holidays.

It's clear, Chris and Katherine are super serious ... almost a year after his split from Anna Faris.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was nowhere in sight ... we're told the kids had dinner at Maria's, and Arnold hosted some gym buddies and other friends at his home. Still, the fam is still super tight.

BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL

Forget Drago's kid ... Michael B. Jordan had a totally different opponent in "Creed II," because his trainer says the real fight was a body battle between MBJ and the original Creed, Carl Weathers.

MBJ is otherworldly jacked for the new flick, and when we talked to his trainer, Corey Calliet, he says even though Mike has been pumped up for a while now, he took it to a new level for the sequel.

"He's never looked like that ever in his life. He's never even imagined he could look like that."

We then had to ask the big question ... in a father (Apollo) versus son (Adonis) battle of the bodies, who wins?

Here's where we remind you prisoners of the moment to remember that Carl Weathers was ABSOLUTELY JACKED, but Corey says it doesn't even matter, Mike got him, and that was the plan.

"I promise you. I put Carl Weathers to sleep."

We'd never talk to Action Jackson like that ... so you guys make up your own minds.

Ken Jeong Clearly Preparing for Possible New Hangover

Published | Updated

This is a fun, alcohol-fueled Thanksgiving video.

Ken Jeong was clearly in the Holiday spirit at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Melbourne, Australia, yelling something about "Hangover 4." Really?

Ken's always super fun and did not disappoint fans who were thrilled to take selfies with the doctor-turned-movie star.

They asked him about the possibility of a new installment of the hit flick, and then asked if a spinoff of his character, Mr. Chow, might be possible.

Truth be told, whatever Ken says in the video ... don't necessarily take it to the bank ... but a hangover might be a reality today.

Ken performed a comedy set earlier Wednesday at Hamer Hall. He's coming back to the U.S. to continue his stand-up tour which will continue through the New Year.

Paris Hilton's Ex Now That I'm Single ... It's Back to Acting!!!

Published | Updated

Paris Hilton's ex is back to calling his own shots now that he's riding fast in the single lane ... first order of business -- breathing life into his acting career.

Sources close to Chris Zylka tell TMZ ... the 'Leftovers' actor allowed his acting career to take a back seat to Paris while he was dating her. We're told Chris didn't film anything during the time they were dating ... especially after he popped the question earlier this year with a ring valued at 2 million bucks.

Fact is ... Chris' only priority during his time with Paris was ... Paris. He was all in supporting her global ambitions ... even if she once literally forgot about him. But, we digress. Not long after the breakup, we're told Chris was offered some acting gigs, which he's now pursuing.

He also has a movie coming out with Natalie Portman, "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan." He filmed it before getting involved with Paris and now that he's single, he'll have plenty of time to promote it.

As Kevin Hart once said ... you do you, boo boo.

D.L. Hughley Warns Michael B. Jordan ... Roy Jones Would 'Beat the Sh*t' Outta You!

Published | Updated

D.L. Hughley is a HUGE boxing fan -- so, when he saw the clip where Michael B. Jordan said he could hold his own in the ring with Roy Jones Jr., D.L. had some thoughts ...

"Roy Jones Jr. ain't what he was, but he'd still beat the sh*t outta Michael B. Jordan."

There's more ...

"Even though Roy Jones Jr. won't remember his name, he'll beat the hell out of Michael B. Jordan."

Michael B.'s been training like crazy for years ever since he took the role of Adonis Creed -- and clearly believes he's built up the skills to compete with real world class boxers.

In fact, multiple pro boxers -- including his "Creed II" co-star Florian Munteanu -- have vouched for Michael's hands ... which might be why MBJ was so confident when we spoke with him last week.

As for Roy, he's not interested in talking, he wants to FIGHT -- challenging Michael B to call his camp and set up a real bout ... where the actor can test his skills once and for all.

Guessing it probably won't happen (why would Michael B. risk an insane career to prove a point?) but he wouldn't be the first actor to give pro boxing a shot -- just ask Mickey Rourke.

Robert De Niro Calling It Quits!!! ... Splitting From Wife After 20 Years of Marriage

Published | Updated

Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, are breaking up after more than two decades of marriage.

The split was first reported by Page Six, who say the couple is no longer living together and could publicly announce their split in the coming weeks.

Robert and Grace tied the knot in 1997 after dating for over a decade. They have 2 children together, 20-year-old son Elliot and 6-year-old daughter Helen.

Robert and Grace have been down this road before ... Robert filed for divorce in 1999, two years into their union, but they never went all the way through with it.

The couple instead renewed their wedding vows in 2004, in front of a star-studded crowd including Meryl Streep, Ben Stiller and Martin Scorsese.

Robert and Grace first met in 1987, when she was working at Mr. Chow in London.

J.K. Rowling Before Hogwarts, I Wanted in at Leith Buy My App for $250k!!!

Published | Updated

J.K. Rowling was putting pen to paper for teaching gigs before 'Harry Potter' ever took off, and now one of her employment bids can be yours ... for the price of a modest home.

An application Rowling filled out in 1996 to teach in Scotland is currently for sale for $250,000. We didn't screw up the number of zeroes, you read correctly ... $2-5-0-0-0-0. The original app is being sold through Moments in Time.

The document -- part of a 12-page bundle -- is definitely a huge part of Rowling's story of success. She'd finished her first 'Potter' manuscript in 1995, but was still shopping it around to publishers before one of 'em finally bit in '97 ... and the rest, of course, is history.

Before that though, she had a brief stint teaching secondary languages to high schoolers at Leith Academy -- a result of her filing this application. It lists her employment and education history, as well as experience which she considered relevant.

It's interesting ... ya gotta wonder if her time at Leith (and the application process to get in) dictated anything she went on to write about Hogwarts in the books.

The wizard's in the details for this one, we suppose.

Michael B. Jordan Roy Jones Jr. Issues Clap Back ... I'll Bust Your Ass, Kid

CALL ME UP

Michael B. Jordan's mouth might've written a check that his ass can't cash ... 'cause Roy Jones Jr. says he heard MBJ say he could beat Roy, and now he wants him to prove it in the ring.

In case you missed it ... we got Mike leaving Avenue nightclub in Hollywood Saturday, and asked if he if there are any real boxers he thinks he could beat with his 'Creed' fight training.

Jordan pulled Roy Jones Jr.'s name out of the sky ... saying the 49-year-old has slowed down just enough for him to beat him. We spoke to Roy, and not only does he disagree, but he's also anxious to prove it.

"If Michael B wants this real, contact Roy Jones Jr. and we'll make it happen."

Roy, who's still an active fighter, says he gives less than a damn about the age difference -- MBJ is 31 -- because his 30-plus years of ring expertise will be the difference.

"I know he can't beat me still. I know he's probably in better condition because he's younger ... but I'm an old school vet."

BTW -- this is not talk. Roy Jones Jr. wants to fight Michael B. Jordan. For real. Roy says the fight would be a perfect promotion for the movie, which comes out this week, although the fight would have to wait a little bit.

"[I'd] probably need, for him, about four or five weeks."

Hey Mike ... don't back out now pretty boy.

Snoop Dogg Gets Hollywood Walk Star ... Shout-Out to Deez!!!

SNOOP'S GOT JOKES

It's a doggy dog world in Hollywood, where Snoop Dogg was immortalized Monday with his own star on the Walk of Fame ... and he's got an idea of who (or what) should get one next.

The rapper was joined by Dr. Dre, Jimmy Kimmel and record producer Quincy Jones for the ceremony in front of the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. The Doggfather's star is No. 2,651 in the history of the Walk, which has been around since 1960.

We got Snoop after the ceremony and he didn't have a whole lot to say about getting the plaque ... but had an interesting suggestion on who should get a star next ... and they come in a pair.

Snoop's star comes just 4 days before the 25th anniversary of his debut album, "Doggystyle," which rose to the top of the charts and has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide.

Born in Long Beach in 1971, Snoop's rap career began in the '80s, when his unique voice started appearing on mixtapes with Nate Dogg and Warren G ... Snoop went on to release 16 studio albums and earn 16 Grammy nominations.

Snoop's legend goes way beyond rap ... he's co-hosted a VH1 show with Martha Stewart, made cameos in hit movies like "Training Day" and "Bruno," created and produced tons of TV shows and expanded into the legal marijuana business.

What's his motherf***in' name??

Angelina Jolie Custody's a Dog Walk in the Park ... When I'm With My Kiddos

Published | Updated

Angelina Jolie doesn't seem to be sweating her looming custody trial with Brad Pitt, at least not when she's with her kids ... or some of them, anyway.

Angie was hanging out with three of her children Sunday in Los Feliz -- where she, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox took their pup for a stroll around the block ... with Shiloh leading the way.

No sign of Maddox, Zahara or Pax here -- the older 3 of the bunch -- but there were certainly no faces of distress on display within the dog-walking group ... in fact, it was nothing but smiles as far as we can see. Even the pooch seemed to be in good spirits.

The happy family outing comes amid a much darker backdrop -- Angelina and Brad are heading to court to decide whether Angie gets sole physical custody of the 6 kids, or if it'll be a 50/50 split ... like Brad wants. Their custody trial is set to begin on Dec. 4, which we're told could take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. The judge will sort it all out after that.

There's more to be decided in their bitter divorce -- like property settlement -- which could get ugly considering Brangelina didn't have a prenup when they got hitched.

Michael B. Jordan is itching to step into the ring with former heavyweight champ Roy Jones Jr. ... because his insane training regimen for "Creed II" has Michael feeling unstoppable.

We got MBJ out Friday night in Los Angeles ... and he tells our photog he's been working out hard for the upcoming movie, so he's ready to throw down with one of his favorite boxers.

But, there's a catch ... Michael feels he can handle 49-year-old Roy, and the actor explains why fighting RJJ in his prime would be a completely different story.
