Jaden Smith I Go Shirtless for Nature, Man!!!

Published | Updated

Jaden Smith doesn't just give back to his community -- he goes topless to give back, and makes it look good ... as his pops once put it.

We're guessing Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are pretty proud of Jaden and his sister, Willow, after they put time and labor into planting trees at Laurel Canyon Park in L.A. Friday afternoon. The famous sibs were with a group of friends helping to spruce up the 'hood.

Of course, Jaden appeared to be the only one doing it shirtless. It was also apparent that no one was complaining about his abs being on display.

We last saw the Smith kids hanging out together while they were vacationing in Hawaii. No blood, sweat and tears that time around ... just doing their best to catch rad waves.

Sen. Marco Rubio Trolled Over Gun Control ... 'Three Billboards'-Style

Published | Updated

Sen. Marco Rubio is getting called out over gun control -- in the wake of the Florida shooting -- in a way that would make Frances McDormand extremely proud.

Three billboards are parked near the senator's office in Doral, FL ... each clearly referencing Wednesday's school shooting in Parkland ... and asking Marco Rubio why there's been no gun control reform.

The billboards replicate the Oscar-nominated film, "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" ... where Frances' character puts the heat on a sheriff to solve her daughter's murder.

The real-life trolling of Rubio was organized by the activist group Avaaz, whose deputy director Emma Ruby-Sachs says, "Florida has notoriously lax gun laws, and Rubio, who is supported by the NRA, has never attempted to reform them."

No response from the senator yet.

I HOLD MY OWN!!!

Ronda Rousey is unfit to join the elite Dora Milaje guard and protect King T'Challa from all enemies, because, according to one of the stars of "Black Panther," ONLY WINNERS ARE ALLOWED.

FYI -- the Dora Milaje is an all-female squad of ass-kickers who are sworn to protect the king (Black Panther) -- and basically beat the hell out of anyone he wants.

We talked to Janeshia Adams-Ginyard at LAX -- she plays a member of the Dora Milaje in the movie -- and asked her to put together her real-life version of the fighting force.

We got some usual suspects like Cyborg and Laila Ali, but when we asked about Ronda, the panther claws came out, and Ginyard, who's a pro wrestler and fighter herself veto'd Rowdy.

It's cold out there in Wakanda.

Stan Lee Face-Off with Ex-Bodyguard Cops Called to L.A. Home

Published | Updated

Stan Lee's house was swarmed by cops Thursday after a man allegedly refused to leave his property.

Law enforcement sources tell us they were called to the Marvel founder's L.A. home after a former bodyguard of Lee's showed up. We're told both Lee and his daughter asked Max Anderson -- a convicted felon -- to leave, and when he refused, they called police to intervene.

Our sources say reps from adult protective services were also called. Once officers arrived they spoke to Anderson, and we're told he agreed to leave peacefully.

Stan has had a rough past few weeks ... he was taken to the hospital earlier this month for heart trouble and cops are investigating the unauthorized purchase of an $850k condo made in Stan's name.

On the bright side ... "Black Panther," which he co-created, is already killing it at the box office.

In response to Thursday's incident, we're told Stan has hired private security to watch his property 24/7 to prevent any more intruders.

No, he's not hiring King T'Challa to watch his back.

Serena Williams Takes Black Girls to 'Black Panther' 'Huge Moment for Black People'

Published | Updated

Serena Williams surprised a group of young black girls with a private screening of "Black Panther" on Thursday -- telling the crowd, "This is a huge moment for us and for black people."

Serena and her hubby, Alexis Ohanian, organized the event in San Fran with roughly 40 members of the youth group Black Girls CODE -- which provides technology education to African-American girls.

The twist, the girls had NO IDEA Serena was going to be in the theater to watch with them -- and when she walked in the room, the crowd went nuts!! It was awesome!!

"We've never had a superhero movie," Serena told the group ... "So, we're so excited. I feel like I've waited my whole life for this."

By the way, Serena says the whole thing was Alexis' idea ... but jokingly added, "It was my idea, too."

Props to everyone -- this is great.

THE PERFECT REPRESENTATION

Nigerian NBA player Festus Ezeli says it's about damn time the REAL Africa was depicted on a movie screen, and tells TMZ Sports he's excited that Marvel's "Black Panther" will do just that.

We got Festus at LAX and asked him just how jammed up he was about a superhero movie set completely on his home continent, and that's when he told us how important the film is to him.

"It's great to have a movie that depicts the REAL Africa."

Ezeli goes on to tell us he's sick of the perception that Africa is a poor, backwards continent, and he thinks BP, and it's portrayal of the resource-rich, fictional nation of Wakanda, can change that perception.

"Africa is a very rich continent, and people don't know that. I think it's great we having a movie like that coming out."

WAKANDA FOREVER! (Go see it, and you'll understand).

Kendrick Lamar's Label Honcho Sending Nearly 1,000 Watts Kids To See 'Black Panther'

Published | Updated

Nearly 1,000 kids from three different Watts-area housing projects will be able to see "Black Panther" this weekend for the price of FREE 99, thanks to the CEO of Kendrick Lamar's record label.

The man behind the gesture is Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith ... who runs Top Dawg Entertainment, the label that's home to Kendrick, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Jay Rock, and Isaiah Rashad.

We're told Top wanted to make sure the kids of Watts could check out the movie, so he teamed up with Interscope Records to buy out 5 shows in 3 different theaters, so tykes from the Nickerson Gardens, Jordan Downs, and Imperial Courts Projects could peep the flick.

We did the math on the capacity of each theater for each showtime, and it adds up to almost 1,000 kids who'll get transported to the venues by busses donated by the L.A. Unifed School District.

All the kids have to do is visit the housing authority at any of those housing developments and they are completely gucci.

WAKANDA FOREVER!!

'Child's Play 3' Actor Charged with Assault, Joyriding For Jacking Mom's Car

Published | Updated

Jeremy Sylvers -- who played Tyler in the third Chucky movie -- is facing serious jail time for allegedly stealing his mom's ride ... but it could have been a lot worse.

The now 37-year-old "Child's Play 3" star is facing 6 misdemeanor charges ... including assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm (a phone), attempting to prevent someone from reporting a crime and driving and taking a vehicle without consent of the owner.

We broke the story ... Sylvers allegedly knocked down his mom last weekend, and took the keys to her 2002 Honda CRV. He got arrested the next day when cops went to his home to investigate.

The only bright side -- he was NOT charged with felony grand theft auto. He was originally booked for it when he was arrested.

Sylvers is looking at 3.5 years behind bars if convicted on all 6 counts.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle 'Royal Love Story' Stars Go to Work ... Nailed It?

Published | Updated

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have touched down in Canada to start production on a new Lifetime movie about their love affair -- or at least the actors playing them have.

The actors playing the couple in "Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story" were spotted Wednesday in downtown Vancouver, where they're shooting the film -- and ya gotta compare 'em to the real deal.

Parisa Fitz-Henley seems to be getting a green light on social media for her resemblance to Meghan. Murray Fraser, on the other hand, might not be getting double takes for the right reason. Good looking guy and all, but he's no Prince of Wales.

The movie's about the story of how Harry and Meghan fell for each other ... way back in 2016. 'Memba that?

Luke Wilson From Victim to Hero ... In Bill Haas Fatal Crash

Published | Updated

Luke Wilson went from crash victim to action hero mere moments after a Ferrari in which pro golfer Bill Haas was riding passenger caused a fatal accident ... TMZ has learned.

Tattoo artist Sean Heirigs -- who owns House of Ink in Venice, CA -- tells us he witnessed the crash Tuesday night, where he says the driver of the Ferrari, 71-year-old Mark Gibello, sped off down a road, lost control switching gears and hit a BMW in the opposite lane.

Heirigs says the BMW flipped over, and clipped Wilson's tailing car in the process. He tells us the woman inside was screaming, as her leg was stuck as her car began smoking.

That's when Wilson parked his car and ran over to get the woman out. Heirigs says he also assisted, but tells us it was Wilson who went in through the back, while he dislodged her leg. Wilson then pulled the victim out of the back of the car and they both carried her over to a curb while paramedics arrived.

As for the one fatality in the wreck -- the driver of the Ferrari -- Heirigs says he overheard the man's wife tell authorities Haas was a friend from out of town, whom her husband wanted to take for a spin.

NO CHANCE

One of O.J. Simpson's former BFFs is giving his alleged big-screen return 2 thumbs down -- telling TMZ Sports there ain't a chance Juice gets loose in Hollywood again.

We got Ahmad Rashad at LAX on Tuesday ... and it was pretty clear from the jump that he didn't wanna talk O.J. (who, fun fact, was in his wedding party, along with Bill Cosby).

But when we asked if O.J.'s rumored cameo in a Sacha Baron Cohen movie could be the start of an acting resurgence -- the Vikings legend straight-up laughed off the possibility.

Ahmad also told us there's no way in hell he'd watch Sacha's flick if O.J.'s in it (shocker).

FYI, Simpson's Hollywood credits include blockbusters like "Roots" and "The Naked Gun" trilogy.

Margot Robbie looked absolutely incredible sitting next to Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern at a recent NYFW show.

Robbie was spotted next to the actresses at Calvin Klein's NYFW event which totally makes sense given she's the new face of euphoria Calvin Klein -- the brand's fragrance. We're told the trio were the ones who really stole the show.

Margot's got a lot under her belt already this year, including the massive success of "I, Tonya" ... so add the new CK campaign to her growing list of accomplishments for 2018.

'Black Panther' Cast Reunites For NYC Screening And After-Party

Published | Updated

The "Black Panther" cast continues to turn up ahead of the movie's Friday premiere, and they got plenty of reasons.

The film is getting rave reviews with a 98% Rotten Tomatoes rating, and Tuesday in NYC director Ryan Coogler, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Danai Gurira all got to celebrate at the after-party to the film's screening hosted by the Cinema Society.

La La Anthony, Leslie Jones and other celebs were there as well.

Most of the cast got together earlier in the week to celebrate Danai's 40th, but last night looked like someone else was celebrating a birthday, impromptu style.

'Star Wars' Auction Stormtrooper Helmets Up for Grabs To Aid NorCal Fire Victims

Published | Updated

A few fun 'Star Wars' props from the last 2 franchise films are on the auction block, and are expected to fetch thousands for a good cause -- helping victims of last year's fires in California's wine country.

Lucasfilm donated 2 screen-used First Order Stormtrooper helmets -- one from 'The Force Awakens' signed by director J.J. Abrams and company president Kathleen Kennedy ... and the other from 'The Last Jedi' signed by director Rian Johnson -- to raise the money.

There's also a model porg from 'The Last Jedi' -- one of just 5 ever made -- signed by Johnson, Kennedy and creature designer Neal Scanlan. All 3 auctions opened last week with a starting bid of $1,000 ... but the helmets already have bids placed for over $4k.

Proceeds from the auction will go to Tipping Point’s Emergency Fire Relief Fund, which supports low income communities affected by the fires in the Napa and Sonoma Valley areas.

Bidding online at ifonly.com ends March 2.

LeBron James Bringin' 'House Party' Back!

Published | Updated

LeBron James is going OLD SCHOOL ... producing a remake of the 1990 classic "House Party" -- and he's tapping Donald Glover's brother to make it happen.

LeBron and his producing partner, Maverick Carter, are spearheading the project through their production company, Springhill Entertainment ... with "Atlanta" writers, Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori, doing the screenplay.

By the way, did you know there were actually FIVE "House Party" movies -- including the latest installment, "House Party: Tonight's the Night" which was released straight to DVD in 2013.

No word if Kid or Play will be involved in the Bron remake -- but c'mon, gotta hook 'em up with a cameo right?!

Now watch this dance move that we KNOW you did back in the '90s.

Danai Gurira's 40th Bday Parties with 'Black Panther' Cast ... Before Opening Weekend

Published | Updated

A good chunk of the cast of "Black Panther" got together to ring in one of their co-stars' 40th birthday ... but they probably had more reason to celebrate than just that.

Danai Gurira -- who plays Okoye in the upcoming film -- turns the big 4-0 Wednesday, but she and her cast members rang in her fab 40s on Monday night in NYC instead.

They were partying it up at the Boom Boom Room atop of The Standard, High Line hotel -- and from the looks of these shots ... it appears most of the major "Black Panther" actors were there, sans Michael B. Jordan.

Danai and co. certainly seemed chummy in celebration, and why shouldn't they? Their new Marvel superhero flick is expected to have a massive box office opening, with projections of up to $165 million domestically for its debut weekend.
