Ariana Grande Coachella Surprise ... Performs New Single
Ariane Grande stunned the Coachella crowd on the first night of weekend #2 by taking the stage during Kygo's set ... and debuting her brand new single.
Grande's live performance Friday night of "No Tears Left to Cry" came just hours after she released the single ... her first new track since last year's Manchester bombing. She also sang Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" with Kygo during her surprise appearance.
It was her second live performance of the year -- she sang at the March for Our Lives rally in March as well.
As we reported ... Kygo dedicated his set to Avicii -- who was found dead at the age of 28 in Oman -- and ended it by playing the world-famous DJ's song, "Without You."

"Avicii was my biggest musical inspiration and he was the reason I started making electronic music so I don’t think I would’ve been on this stage tonight if it wasn’t for him. I know he’s inspired millions of other producers out there."

The rapper was spotted leaving Nobu in Malibu with some friends Friday night in a t-shirt, sweatpants and a light jacket ... and couldn't look happier about the way things are going lately.
Kanye's been in a great mood for a few days. We saw him smiling leaving his office after giving Charlamagne Tha God a preview of his new album, before announcing he's actually releasing TWO albums in June ... one with Kid Cudi.
Then of course, there was his social media PDA with Kim Kardashian at a party for Kourtney's 39th bday ... something rarely seen from the couple.
Clearly, it's good to be Kanye right now.

Ryan Seacrest 'American Idol' Ratings Woes Can't Bring Me Down
Ryan Seacrest loves "American Idol" -- he makes that perfectly clear -- and he doesn't seem to be sweating the prospect of the show not returning next season ... ratings be damned.
We got the 'Idol' host leaving E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills Friday evening and asked if he's concerned at all about the revived singing competition struggling to attract viewers. Doesn't seem like it ... because he knows it's a great show.
Ryan says he hopes 'AI' returns for another season, and it should be noted -- it's still performing well for ABC compared to the same time slot in recent years.
So Seacrest is right to stay positive about things ... especially when gets to snap a pic with a "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" star, too.

Ex-Destiny's Child Singer Bey, I'm Down for a Reunion, Too ... Call Me?
Former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin didn't join Beyonce on stage at Coachella, but she's making it clear -- she's fully on board for the next reunion ... if the queen will have her.
Farrah was a member of DC for about 6 months in 2000 -- she was on the "Say My Name" remix -- and she watched Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage last weekend. Zero bitterness, though ... she says she was thrilled like everyone else.
She says she wasn't invited to be part of the Coachella gig -- and didn't really expect to be -- but she sounds keen on Bey organizing a more complete reunion in the future.
For now, Farrah's happy doing modeling, acting and her own music ... which includes a trap collab with Maino. All that being said, she'd squeeze in some time for her ex-group mates if the phone rings.

Tekashi69 I Gotti, Gotti $22.5k In New Bling
Tekashi69 just keeps throwing his money around and this time he's doing it on several pieces of bling that put a $22,500 hole in his pocket.
The NYC rapper linked with Houston-based jeweler JimmyBoi for a pair of rings and two new grills. One ring is of a spinning 69, while the other is a spinning rainbow made out of colorful enamel. There's about 15 carats of diamonds on both atop 14k gold. Grand total ... $17,500.
We're told the grills are made out of white gold and colorful enamel and cost about $5k.
As for that dent in 6ix9ine's bank account, hardly as bad as the one he might have after Saturday's Broner vs. Vargas fight. This is more like chump change.

Mel B, Stephen Belafonte We're Slashing Prices ... Buy Our House, Please!!!
There IS one thing Mel B and Stephen Belafonte agree on -- their Hollywood Hills home has gotta go, and the exes are knocking another half mil off the asking price to get it done.
TMZ has learned the house -- a 4-story, 4,631 sq. ft. contemporary beauty with 4 beds and 6 baths -- was taken off the market at the beginning of the year ... but was relisted for sale Thursday at $7,495,000.
Mel and Stephen originally put the pad on the market for $8.995 million just over a year ago, in the heat of their bitter divorce proceedings. A few weeks later they dropped it by a mil, but couldn't find a buyer.
We broke the story ... Belafonte claimed in December Mel B was making it extremely difficult for him to sell the house because she wouldn't let him inside to make repairs and stage it for a sale.
Now they're giving it another shot with the new $500k discount.
FYI ... celeb realtors Josh and Matt Altman of The Altman Brothers at Douglas Elliman are the listing agents, along with Ann Dashiell.

Taylor Swift Man Breaks into Home ... Showers and Sleeps in Her Bed!
Taylor Swift had a real life version of Goldilocks play out in one of her homes, as an intruder got way too comfortable after breaking into the place.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Roger Alvarado allegedly climbed up a ladder, smashed a window with his hand and got into the NYC brownstone early Friday. Once he got in, he took a shower and fell asleep in a bed.
This would be the part where Taylor walks in on him, if this really were Goldilocks ... luckily, she wasn't there. However, a witness spotted Alvarado breaking in and called cops. He was arrested inside the home and charged with stalking, burglary and criminal mischief.
Taylor just owns the property -- she bought it a few months ago, but we're told she's never lived there.
She's been the target of several scary run-ins lately. Most recently, a man was arrested trying to scale the wall of her Bev Hills mansion, and another showed up at that same mansion with a mask and rubber gloves. Both were arrested.

Avicii -- one of the most famous DJs in the world -- has died.
His rep says Avicii died in the Middle Eastern country of Oman. Details surrounding his death are still unclear.
Avicii's real name is Tim Bergling. He was born in Sweden.
His reps issued a statement, "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."
Avicii had struggled with addiction in the past. He was hospitalized twice for alcohol related issues ... though it's unclear at this point if that had anything to do with his death.
He dropped some of the biggest EDM songs in the world including, "Levels," "Hey Brother" and his massive hit "Wake Me Up" with Aloe Blacc.
He was nominated for 2 Grammys for Best Dance Recording in 2011 and 2012, for "Levels" and "Sunshine" -- and he was just nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album.
Avicii retired from live performances in 2016, but before that he was easily one of the highest paid DJs in the world ... earning $28 million in 2014, according to Forbes.
His last Instagram post was just over 2 weeks ago when he was in California. He had a home in the Hollywood Hills.
When he quit touring, Avicii said, "One part of me can never say never, I could be back ... but I won't be right back."

Adrien Broner Would Murder Tekashi69 ... Says Tyron Woodley
Tekashi69 needs to be careful ... because if his feud with Adrien Broner turns into a REAL fight, Broner would knock his ass out in ONE PUNCH -- so says Tyron Woodley.
Tyron was trying REALLY hard to warn Tekashi on "The Hollywood Beatdown" that his hands aren't on the same PLANET as Broner when it comes to fighting ... and the proof is in that weak ass LAX brawl earlier this year.
In fact, Tyron says Broner needs to ignore 6ix9ine and focus on his REAL business -- beating Jessie Vargas at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night (live on Showtime).
There's more ... Tyron also reacts to a videotaped message from Daniel Cormier about his fighting future.
Plus, Woodley rips Danielle Bregoli, Woah Vicky and Lil Tay for that stupid YouTube star brawl in L.A.
Don't miss "The Hollywood Beatdown" every Friday on the TMZ Sports YouTube page.

Mel B Daughter's Therapy Was My Idea!! Belafonte's Full of Crap
Mel B says Stephen Belafonte is trying to pull a fast one by making it look like he decided to get their daughter into therapy, and she adds his brainwashing allegations are desperate.
According to new legal docs ... Mel B says she reached out to Stephen in late 2017 to get counseling for their 6-year-old daughter, Madison. Instead of agreeing and helping out, Mel claims Stephen waited a few months to file docs in which he accuses her of brainwashing Madison.
In her docs, Mel says therapy for their daughter was her idea all along -- so, she's not opposed to it. In fact, she even has suggestions for possible doctors for Madison to see.
As for Belafonte's brainwashing allegations -- Mel B says they're all nonsense ... and he has absolutely no evidence to support his claims Madison is acting differently toward him.
Mel adds, they already have a custody plan in place and they should stick to it, because she's done nothing to alienate their daughter from him.

UFC boss Dana White also posted a photo of Avicii who was a huge combat sports fan. He even attended the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight.

Meek Mill Outraged Over Delay in Release ... Give Me Fair Treatment!!!
8:50 AM PT -- Meek tells TMZ ... he's thankful 3 other people's cases were dismissed at the urging of the Philly D.A., and says there are 105 more cases like theirs and his involving the same corrupt cop.
Meek feels his case should have been dismissed like the other 3, but his judge decided it should wait for a hearing in June ... so that's what he has to do.
Meek Mill's getting a raw deal compared to other inmates in the same situation, and once again ... his team says it's because the judge has it out for him.
As we reported ... the Philly D.A.'s office asked for Meek's original 2008 drug conviction to be vacated and for the rapper to be released from prison because arresting officer Reginald Graham is a corrupt cop -- but Judge Genece Brinkley shot it down.
Instead, she scheduled a hearing for the matter in June, but Meek's lawyer is crying foul ... because 3 other cases similar to Meek's were dismissed immediately by another judge.
Meek's lawyer, Brian McMonagle, tells us ... this decision is just another example of Judge Brinkley's bias toward him and "inequitable treatment." He says there's no reason for Meek's case to be delayed for 60 days when the D.A. agrees he should be free until he gets a new trial.
The only reason for the judge's decision -- according to Meek's team -- is her vendetta against him.
And just to reiterate ... even prosecutors agree he should be released on bail while his appeals are considered.

The NY Giants star went after Shawn's whiteness ... a lot ... with some lines that included:
"Your skin is so pale, let's call it a hunch ... you're so white, the only meal you eat is brunch."
Also ... "No matter what you say my ego won't burst because whatever you've done, John Mayer did it first."
Mendes came through with some strong shots of his own during the ep which airs Sunday on TBS.
"A dancing athlete that's a little unusual ... its the first time I've seen that since 'High School Musical.'"
And then a short joke ...
"You said that I'm fake, I think millions disagree. How do they ever call you a Giant when you're shorter than me!"
