XXXTentacion's murder has brought a rapper's career to a screeching halt ... so says the rapper himself, who at one point was linked to the murder.

Rapper Soldier Kidd tells TMZ ... his career's been derailed ever since online accusations of his possible involvement in XXX's shooting caught the eye of investigators.

TMZ broke the story ... cops working on the case were homing in on the Florida rapper after he posted a pic of himself with a gun while he was at a fish and chicken joint not far from the crime scene.

A grand jury indicted 4 people in the murder case.

Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant, Victor Oladipo, Iman Shumpert and Andre Drummond -- a pretty good starting five on the hardwood, right?!

Well, Drummond says it's also a fivesome he's rollin' to the music studio with -- 'cause they all spit fire on the mic!!

Andre -- better known as Dre Drumm in the rap community -- has serious game when it comes to rhyme and flow ... so, we had to ask -- who's the best musician in the NBA??

Drummond wouldn't reveal an MVP -- but he did give us an all-star team.

"Between myself, Iman Shumpert, Dame Lillard, you know Kevin Durant raps ... Victor Oladipo is another artist that does music in the NBA too!"

Drake knows what makes for a cool summer -- ice cream! -- so he threw down some cash to have it handed it out in a lucky L.A. neighborhood.

The 'Scorpion' rapper and singer paid more than $10,000 for 1,000 individual frozen treats at 5 different locations in the L.A. suburbs Friday. We're told 4 stands were set up in Hidden Hills and one at The Commons at Calabasas ... all giving away free goodies.

Sources close to the giveaway tell us Drake did it to promote his new album -- lyrics are plastered on the sides of the Ice Cream Occasions carts -- and because he thought it'd be a "cool thing to do on a hot day for the community."

The 9-year-old kid who fainted onstage with Chris Brown but was fortunately scooped up by the singer before he fell says ... it all went down because he was starstruck!

Parion McCoy tells TMZ ... it was a stroke of luck he was invited onto the stage with CB while he was performing "Loyal" in the first place, but once the boy got up there and shook Breezy's hand -- it was just too much for him.

The young kid's doing fine now, and tells us it's the first time he's passed out in his life. His mom says he's the biggest Chris Brown fan there is ... and she hopes they can set up a meet-and-greet to thank him for his inspiration.

7/21 7:30 AM PT -- Bail was just set at $17k.

7/21 6:47 AM PT -- Police say Offset had 3 handguns in the vehicle and $107,000.

3:46 PM PT -- Offset was hit with 4 charges ... possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a weapon during a crime -- both felonies -- and possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), and an improper lane change ... both misdemeanors.

The rapper was apparently pulled over for the lane change, not for tinted windows.

Offset is behind bars in Georgia after cops pulled him over and allegedly discovered at least one weapon.

Sources tell us the Migos rapper was traveling just outside Atlanta Friday when the vehicle he was in was pulled over for tinted windows. A witness tells us officers then discovered at least one gun in the car ... a big no-no for Offset, who is a convicted felon.

Offset and Cardi B welcomed their daughter, Kulture, into the world earlier this month ... we're told neither Cardi nor the baby were in the vehicle at the time of Offset's arrest.

We're still working to confirm details with law enforcement.

Post Malone fans might get what they asked for because the rapper's "Queer Eye" cameo might actually happen, and Post's already got a new look in mind.

We got Posty outside Chin Chin in WeHo and he admitted he was in need of a shower because he's smack in the middle of "a rock star binger."

If ya missed it ... the rapper's fans made a call to action over Twitter, which lead Fab Fiver Karamo Brown to tweet: "Lol why does everyone want @PostMalone to be on the show. Did he request it?" To which Post replied: "no they just think I'm ugly and smell lol."

Post says he's a die-hard fan of the Emmy-nominated reality show, and he'd let them chop his hair too.

Post Malone is taking sides in the Logan Paul-KSI boxing match ... and Logan ain't going to like this ...

The "Better Now" rapper says he's got KSI in the superfight ... telling TMZ Sports if he had to be in one boxer's entourage for the August 25 tilt in England, he's siding with the smaller dude.

"KSI looks tough," Post says. "He's tough. He's undefeated!"

Post seems irked by the way Logan and his brother, Jake, came out for the mega-fight's press conference ... saying it all looked a lot like Conor McGregor.

For Jay-Z and Beyonce ... the best kinda family time is maritime, and even their 1-year-old twins are already soaking up the luxury yacht lifestyle in Italy.

The Carter clan anchored off the Amalfi Coast Friday. All their kiddos were there too ... Blue Ivy and Sir and Rumi, who mom and dad took turns juggling on deck of the huge ship.

Bey and Jay got in some QT by themselves too ... chilling on a smaller vessel that took them to and from shore, while Beyonce snapped some pics.

Here's a first look at the life-size Chris Cornell statue that will be erected next month at Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture.

Cornell's wife, Vicky, commissioned sculptor Nick Marra in March for the project. It's bittersweet how Vicky discovered the artist ... Marra's the same guy who created a sculpture for Anton Yelchin's tombstone.

Chris and Anton are buried only 40 feet apart at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and Vicky struck up a conversation with Anton's mother about his sculpture when they were both visiting the gravesites.

Marra tells us ... Vicky gave him an old photo of Chris doing what she called "the rock god pose" for the statue. Marra got one of his son's friend's who's 6'3" -- the same height as Chris -- to model for the body scan. He used that to make a foam statue, then covered it in an oil-based clay before bronzing.

Since it was a rush job each body part had to be bronzed separately, and it wasn't cheap.

Cardi B and Offset are in the crosshairs of another lawsuit stemming from the guy who sued the rappers claiming their hired muscle beat the crap outta him.

The Mark Hotel -- site of where the beatdown happened -- filed new legal docs saying they want the lawsuit thrown out, but are also covering their asses in the event Giovanni Arnold wins the suit.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, the hotel's essentially saying if The Mark Hotel gets hit with a huge judgment, it wants the court to hold the rappers responsible for the damages.

Taylor Swift flat-out stole her gaming app, The Swift Life ... so claims a tiny computer company that is going after the singer in court.

SwiftLife -- a computer consulting company -- claims it owned its name since 2007, and then Taylor came along and just jacked it.

SwiftLife is a one-man company and its owner, Patrick Benot, says he was never contacted by the singer or her reps ... they just took it to launch the digital gaming experience app The Swift Life.

Benot goes on to say Taylor and her people know full well about the ins and outs of trademarking products -- she's trademarked 64 items herself, so there is no excuse.

3 of the 4 suspects in XXXTentacion's murder knew each other and enjoyed flaunting their money together before the rapper was killed ... because there's video proof.

Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen and Trayvon Newsome -- who've all been indicted by a grand jury for first degree murder -- were in an Instagram vid posted by Williams weeks before X was shot to death in S. Florida ... trying to look poppin' while sifting through stacks of big bills.

The fourth murder suspect and alleged gunman, Michael Boatwright, is not seen in the vid.

As we've reported ... Williams and Boatwright have been arrested, but Newsome and Allen are still wanted. Police believe Newsome is a second trigger man.

Post Malone would gladly offer his services -- FOR FREE!! -- to perform at his buddy Justin Bieber's wedding ... but if they need a flower boy, he's game too.

We got the rapper leaving a restaurant in WeHo Thursday afternoon and the guy couldn't be happier for the Biebs and Hailey Baldwin. TMZ broke the story ... Justin proposed to Hailey earlier this month while on vacay in the Bahamas.

Police have now named the 2 gunmen they believe killed XXXTentacion, and a grand jury has indicted the alleged gunmen and 2 others for first degree murder.

The Broward County Sheriff's Dept. says Michael Boatwright -- arrested earlier this month -- and Trayvon Newsome were the trigger men in XXX's murder. Newsome is still wanted. The other 2 indicted suspects are Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen.

As we reported, Dedrick was the first taken into custody ... while Allen is still on the lam. In addition to murder, all 4 men were also charged with armed robbery with a firearm.

G-Eazy has NOT jumped to dating Demi Lovato after his split from Halsey ... and that's coming straight from his ex, Halsey.

We got her Thursday at LAX, and had to ask her about the speculation G's hooking up with Demi. There were reports they hit up a Hollywood club last weekend. Even though that turned out to be false ... the rumor's taken off.

Halsey, who announced the breakup from G-Eazy earlier this month, says NO CHANCE. He denied the Demi buzz at the ESPYs, and his ex is fully backing him.

Chloe Kim's rapping skills have no limit ... 'cause the U.S. Olympic hero grabbed the mic with G-Eazy at an ESPYs after-party ... and we gotta admit, she KILLED it!!!

The snowboarding gold medalist hit up the official awards after-party at L.A. Live on Wednesday ... and didn't even hesitate when Young Gerald asked her to spit Cardi B's verse on his hit, "No Limit"

The people in attendance totally lost it ... and rightfully so. Chloe knows ALL the words (even the dirty ones).
