Christina El Moussa was questioned by Child Services after her toddler fell in their pool.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ Christina and Tarek's 1-year-old, Brayden, was under the care of the nanny Monday when he fell into their pool. We're told she swooped the child up quickly and he was never unconscious.

Christina returned home and when the nanny told her what happened she took her child to a hospital as a precaution ... to make sure there wasn't any water in his lungs.

Brayden checked out fine, nonetheless we're told Child Services interviewed Christina and the nanny at the hospital and determined no action was necessary.

Brayden is back home and things are back to normal.

Rachel Lindsay got to meet all her guys on the premiere of "The Bachelorette" -- and none stood out more than Lucas for one reason ... Whaboom!

Lucas was the last of Rachel's suitors to be introduced Monday night, and he certainly has a unique personality ... not mention a standout job. According to his "Bachelorette" profile, his occupation is listed as just, well, Whaboom.

The new "Bachelorette" just surfaced before her new season kicks off Monday night with what appears to be a tiny engagement ring ... but she's got an explanation.

We got Rachel Lindsay leaving LAX, and our photog calls out the obvious -- she's wearing a sliver of metal around the finger where a huge rock would normally be if you were engaged.

Rachel's already confirmed she is in fact set to be hitched to someone from the "Bachelorette," but explains this one away with a simple answer ... it ain't a ring.

"Shahs of Sunset" star Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi is saying deuces to her marriage... she's filing for divorce just 2 months after tying the knot.

GG and hubby Shalom Yeroushalmi have irreconcilable differences. They got married January 25 and she lists March 27 as the date of separation.

Friends were worried GG was rushing to the altar ... clearly they were right.

GG also wants the court to block Shalom from getting spousal support. They have no kids and such a short marriage usually means all involved won't put up a fight.

Katy Perry is getting a staggering $25 MILLION to judge "American Idol" ... this according to sources familiar with the negotiation.

Multiple sources tell us ABC was desperate to sign a name before the Upfronts last week, when honchos announced she was the lead judge. As one source put it, "Katy had all the leverage. If ABC ended up announcing the show without a judge, they'd be screwed."

TMZ broke a story way back in 2012 that 'A.I.' was trying to get Katy as a judge but she rejected the network's $20 mil offer.

As we reported, ABC tried to get Kelly Clarkson but at the last minute she jumped ship and went to NBC's "The Voice." NBC also snagged Jennifer Hudson.

We're also told ABC is "on the verge" of signing the deal with Ryan Seacrest to host the show. Sources connected with the first run of 'Idol' tell us Ryan was making $15 mil a season at his high point. We're told Jennifer Lopez was also raking in $15 mil a season. So Katy blew them both away.

Benzino is begging Althea Eaton for a second chance after she caught him cheating -- and she's open to it, but he will have to pay dearly ... in diamonds!

We got the ex-"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" stars outside Catch, where Benzino tried pleading his case to Althea asking for her forgiveness. It's sooo humiliating to watch, but sooo entertaining.

Althea eventually names her price, but not before Benzino has to choke down a full crow with a side of humble pie. On the other hand ... it looks like they arrived together, and MIGHT be leaving together. So, maybe Benzino's already working his way out of the doghouse?

Ben Higgins is back on the market, and he's already going out with another "Bachelor" hottie ... but it's not what you think.

Ben went to a Bryan Adams concert Saturday night at the Greek Theater in L.A. with none other than "Bachelor" alum Ashley Iaconetti. She was on Chris Soules' season right before Ben's ... famous for her celibacy.

Eyewitnesses tell us Ben and Ashley were definitely there together, and seemed pretty friendly ... sans PDA, though. We're told they were chatting it up, just not exclusively.

Sources close to Ben cleared up the confusion easily ... they're just friends. The 2 "Bachelor" stars are launching a radio podcast together this week, "Almost Famous," and went to the concert with other folks from iHeart Radio. They've also been promoting their new gig ... so it makes sense they'd be hanging out.

As we reported ... Ben and his ex-fiance, Lauren Bushnell, officially called it quits last week.

As for Ben and Ashley ... it's strictly business.

Ellen DeGeneres made one thing clear and another thing unclear ... Ryan Seacrest is a workaholic who may or may not become the host of the "American Idol" reboot.

Ellen and wife Portia de Rossi were leaving Crossroads Kitchen in WeHo Friday when our photog connected the dots, knowing that Seacrest was inside the restaurant at the same time. Ellen and Seacrest are tight, so it's not a big leap to conclude the 2 broke vegan bread together.

So the questions ... Is she open to an "Idol" gig? Did Seacrest say he was open? Ellen is open to answer only one of those questions.

Four of Josh Duggar's sisters are suing city and police officials, as well as In Touch magazine, for releasing investigative reports which detailed Josh's now admitted molestation of his siblings.

Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy filed the suit against the city of Springdale, Arkansas over the 2015 police documents. According to the lawsuit, they say they had spoken to investigators in 2006 about the molestations -- when they were all minors -- and they were assured their statements would only be shared with police and child service officials.

They say In Touch filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2015 to obtain the police files and publishing at least 8 stories about the investigation. However, in the suit, the sisters say under Arkansas laws the police are forbidden from disclosing any information related to sexual misconduct involving children.

The sisters say they were further victimized by all the scrutiny of their family after In Touch's report was published. You'll recall, in the months following the story ... the Duggars' show, "19 Kids and Counting," was canceled, and Josh entered a rehab program.

The women are suing city, county and police officials and the publishers of In Touch for damages.

In a statement, the Duggars said they're only suing to protect all children who are victims of abuse.

3:55 PM PT -- Hansen tells us, "I am terribly sorry for my behavior and am very embarrassed by it. I owe a bunch of people apologies, first and foremost to our Uber driver, who was just trying to get us home safely. I hope I can make that apology in person. I have no excuse, and accept responsibility for my actions. I made a boneheaded move last night, and I am sorry."

"Deadliest Catch" captain Sig Hansen's been hauled off to the brig and is facing charges of assault and property destruction after a spat with an Uber driver ... TMZ has learned.

Hansen got into it with the driver early Thursday morning in the Seattle area. According to the police report ... the app canceled his ride, even though Sig was already in the car with his family. The Hansens say they offered to pay the driver $100 to complete the trip, but he refused, saying it was against Uber rules.

Hansen got mad and allegedly spit on the driver's head and the back of the driver's seat, then got out of the car and kicked it. The driver left and called cops. When officers arrived they saw several drops of fresh-looking spit on the back of the driver's headrest and a dent in the car.

When they went to Hansen's home ... cops say he was "obviously intoxicated," and told them he was celebrating Norwegian Independence Day. Cops say Sig initially denied any wrongdoing, and tried to walk back inside his home.

Officers stopped him, and put him in cuffs. Sig offered to pay any damage to the car's driver, but denied spitting. He was booked into King County Jail, and will be released on $2,000 bail.

The cast of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" put a pause on their TV drama to help out some high school seniors ... by picking up their graduation tabs.

Sources close to production tell TMZ ... Karlie Redd, Rasheeda, Mimi Faust, and Sierra Gates surprised students Wednesday at Columbia High School in Atlanta with 10 scholarships. We're told Karlie set the wheels in motion to donate the money to less fortunate seniors.

We're told each student was awarded $295 to help pay for caps, gowns and student dues.

As stoked as the kids might have been to get an assist with the cash ... it looks like they were more excited about meeting some local celebs.

1:20 PM PT -- Bravo says the judge just ruled in its favor, rejecting Barbara's motion to block ... which means Barbara stays in the picture ... TV show, in this case.

'Real Housewives of New York' star Carole Radziwill secretly recorded talks she had with a woman, and their private convos will air Wednesday night unless a judge steps in ... according to new legal docs.

Barbara K, founder of a DIY company, claims she had what she believed to be a private discussion with Carole at a charity party at Bagatelle in Manhattan. She says 'Real Housewives' was filming ... but their convo took place far away from cameras and she didn't know Radziwill was mic'd.

According to the docs ... Barbara had a phone call with Carole more than a month later that was also recorded without her knowledge. She claims Radziwill called her back afterward to inform her both interactions had been recorded for 'RHONY.'

Barbara says she told Carole she didn't have permission to use the convos on the show or anywhere else, and her lawyer fired off a letter to Bravo telling them the same.

Despite this, 'RHONY' still plans to put Barbara in Wednesday night's episode ... which is why she requested an emergency court order to stop the show from using her likeness and/or voice.

Khloe just tweeted about the J, sayin, "The funny thing is I don't smoke lol I don't mind if you do. To each their own. I was bringing it to someone else but it is what it is."

If Khloe Kardashian appeared to be smoking weed on Sunday night's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" ... it's only because she was ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to production tell us ... yes, that was a joint in her hand as she hugged Scott Disick. We're told producers didn't mind Khloe shooting scenes with it because it was natural -- she was having a good time with the fam in Costa Rica, and sometimes ganja happens.

Kylie Jenner is living life on the edge in Beverly Hills just for a little while ... but for a lot of cash.

Sources close to Kylie tell TMZ she's renting a mansion in Bev Hills while she gets work done on her $12 mil Hidden Hills home. The new pad rents for $125k/month ... and is currently on the market for $35 million.

The price tag is certainly justified -- the place oozes luxury -- sitting on a cliff, gorgeous views with 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms thrown in for good measure. Not to mention the pro chef's kitchen, big screen theater ... and a library with a bar!

The Agency repped both sides of the deal ... and James Harris from The Agency who also appears on "Million Dollar Listing" repped Kylie.

Lisa Vanderpump's customers at Villa Blanca had to clear out, STAT, Monday afternoon when a fire broke out in the restaurant.

Lunch patrons were evacuated when smoke started to fill the restaurant and the Bev Hills building around it. Lisa's husband, Ken Todd, is on the scene and tells us the fire started in one of their pizza ovens. No injuries, everyone got out safely ... but Ken says they'll be closed for a few days for cleanup.

Villa Blanca is Lisa's first restaurant. She also owns and operates PUMP in WeHo.

'Bachelor' stars Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are donzo ... the couple just announced they've split.

The announcement came Monday but the writing was seemingly on the wall before the proposal ever went down. Ben proposed to Lauren in season 20 of 'Bachelor' but the relationship didn't come without some pretty major hiccups. First, he told Lauren AND JoJo Fletcher he loved them both before ultimately picking Lauren.

Also ... Ben, 29, and Lauren, 27, called off their wedding back in November as they tried to navigate the relationship off-camera.

They told PEOPLE -- which first reported the breakup -- that it's "with heavy hearts we announce our decision to go our separate ways. We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another."
