AIN'T STOPPIN' ME

Dean Cain seems to agree with his friend James Caan that the world's a strange place right now regarding how men and women interact ... and also shares his support of Morgan Freeman.

We got the former Superman actor out at the National Mall in D.C. on Memorial Day and asked about Caan's comments to us last week ... Dean tells us he sees where James is coming from, and dismisses a video tape many feel shows Freeman acting inappropriately to a reporter as "ridiculous."

Cain goes on to explain hitting on the opposite sex is fine if it doesn't go too far -- and he's seen that happen on both sides -- but the current culture's not going to stop him from talking to a beautiful woman.

He also says not to turn your back on Freeman simply based on allegations ... because he hasn't been convicted of anything yet.

Morgan Freeman Misplaced Humor, Not Sexual Assault Alleged Victim Calls Out CNN

Published | Updated

Morgan Freeman has issued a second statement, responding to allegations he sexually harassed a number of women, this time saying the incidents were "misplaced compliments or humor" and not sexual assault ... and now one of the women is calling out CNN for unfairly suggesting she's a victim.

Freeman says, "I am devastated that 80 years of my life is at risk of being undermined, in the blink of an eye." He goes on ... "It is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual assault with misplaced compliments or humor."

Freeman does apologize, saying he will "continue to apologize to anyone I might have upset, however unintentionally."

A woman mentioned in the CNN story -- Tyra Martin, reached out to TMZ and said, "Hey, still getting a lot of nasty messages from people who think I AM one of the accusers. I'm not, never was. CNN totally misrepresented the video and took my remarks out of context." The incident involved an interview Martin did with Freeman, where she recounted, "When I stood up, I pulled my skirt part of my dress down and he did say, 'Oh, don't pull it down now.'"

Harvey Weinstein Prosecutors Eyeing Obscure Law in Investigation

Published | Updated

Harvey Weinstein is now in the crosshairs of federal prosecutors who are looking to possibly prosecute him under a law that some legal experts say is a giant stretch.

Law enforcement sources tell us, the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York is looking to see if Weinstein violated the Mann Act. It now prohibits people from taking others across state lines with the intent of engaging in illegal sexual acts. The law was initially designed to prevent adults from transporting minors across state lines for sex.

The law requires the suspect to have formed the intent to commit the act before taking the victim across state lines.

Our sources say prosecutors are looking at at least one actress whom Weinstein flew from one state to another. The stretch is that they will have to prove he asked the actress to travel, knowing that he was going to rape her when she arrived at the destination.

The difficulty in such a case ... Weinstein may have wanted to have sex, but didn't assume from the get-go he would have to rape the woman.

As we reported, Weinstein will turn himself in today on state sexual assault charges.

Weinstein has maintained the sexual encounters he has had were all consensual.

I KNEW WHAT I WAS GETTING MYSELF INTO

Nicole Eggert says she knew it'd be a long shot for law enforcement to find a prosecutable case against Scott Baio -- but she doesn't regret for a second pursuing her allegations.

Nicole talked to us about her moral victory over Baio. We broke the story ... Baio won't be prosecuted for allegedly molesting Nicole while working on "Charles in Charge." Still, our sources say the D.A. believed Nicole's story.

She says she doesn't regret pursuing the case as vigorously as she did, because she says she wanted her truth out there. Nicole also told us whether she'd accept an apology from Baio, at this point.

Baio's rep says “According to on the record statements from the Los Angeles District Attorney, TMZ's source on this matter is incorrect, and the status of the case is unchanged. Similarly, we do not believe the various claims about comments about the strength of Ms. Eggert’s allegations are accurate. Ms. Eggert is now also subject to a restraining order for stalking a Baio fan using social media, which she has already violated. We believe Scott will be fully vindicated when this matter actually concludes, and Ms. Eggert will then be held fully accountable for her untrue and defamatory claims.”

TMZ reported the fact the D.A. handling the case found Nicole "credible" after meeting with her Wednesday, and that Scott would not be prosecuted based on the statute of limitations.

Our information is based on unimpeachable law enforcement sources directly connected to the case.

Stormy Daniels Pushy Goon Squad ... Down at The Abbey

Published | Updated

Stormy Daniels was rolling deep with security for her appearance in West Hollywood -- and as they say ... there's strength -- and apparently jerk-offs -- in numbers.

We got Trump's alleged one-time mistress hitting up The Abbey in WeHo Wednesday night right on the heels of celebrating Stormy Daniels Day and receiving a key to the city.

She had quite the entourage around her -- some security ... and one rando who got into it with paps on the way in. The same dude who flipped off the cameras resurfaced on the way out, but it was one of Stormy's bodyguards who had the last shove ... and alleged theft.

There hasn't been a camera Stormy and co. have met that they didn't like ... until now.

R. Kelly My 'Too Late' Speech Was No Diss, Just a Shout-Out to Me

Published | Updated

R. Kelly was recently filmed saying it's "too late" for those trying to #MuteRKelly -- but his speech was more about his strong legacy than it was anything else.

A new video shows Kelly making a toast with friends, and him saying "it's too late" as well as "They should've did this s*** 30 years ago." While some took that to mean his accusers were too late, we're told that's not what he meant.

Sources close to Kels tell TMZ ... Kelly was simply celebrating with his pals -- including former basketball player Antoine Walker -- rather than bashing any of his accusers. We're told his "too late" comment was in reference to those trying to silence him, like Spotify.

Fact is ... R. Kelly's streaming numbers have actually gone up since Spotify announced it was removing his music from its playlists. Sources say Kelly was simply pointing out his music has made its impact around the world, and nothing will change that.

TALKING THINGS OUT

We broke the story ... Kelly's now being sued by a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her, falsely imprisoned her and gave her herpes. She also secretly recorded Kelly earlier this month, trying to coax him into a confession.

Kelly is facing many other allegations of sexual misconduct ... including running an alleged sex cult. He's vehemently denied that, though.

Mario Batali Double-Crossed and Stiffed Women's Group

Published | Updated

6:14 AM PT -- A spokesperson for Batali's brand licensing company tells TMZ, "There have been no sales of Mario Batali sauces by our licensee since December 2017 as retailers discontinued carrying the product at that time. Mario Batali has received no royalty or payment of any kind since that time. We apologize for any confusion and have asked our licensee to take down the website.”

Mario Batali's website claims it struck a deal to donate proceeds from its sauces to a women's group ... but TMZ's learned the organization hasn't received a dime because no deal was ever struck.

We noticed this huge banner posted on mariobatalisauces.com's landing page back in December 2017 shortly after sexual misconduct allegations first surfaced against the disgraced chef. The banner claims the makers of Batali's sauces are donating its proceeds to Women Employed, hailed as one of the nation's most successful advocates for working women.

But, we checked with the organization and a rep tells us, "Summer Garden Food Manufacturing reached out to WE last year about donating proceeds from the sale of its Mario Batali-labeled products to our organization. At no time did Women Employed have a partnership, agreement, or discussion with Chef Mario Batali."

The statement continues, "While WE appreciates that Summer Garden Food Manufacturing reached out to us, this donation did not move forward because distributors did not want to be associated with Batali and pulled the product from their shelves.”

As we reported ... Batali was dumped by his partners on the heels of new claims of sexual misconduct. We reached out to Batali's sauce makers to ask for an explanation for the banner, so far no word back.

R. Kelly Sued for Sexual Assault ... He Locked Me Up, Gave Me Herpes

Published | Updated

R. Kelly is being sued for sexual assault by a woman who claims he held her against her will and abused her ... TMZ has learned.

A woman named Faith Rodgers filed the lawsuit in NYC, and claims they met in March 2017, when she was 19 ... after a performance in San Antonio. In the suit, she says a couple months later Kelly flew her to NYC for one of his concerts.

After the show, she says Kelly "bombarded" her hotel room and initiated "unwanted sexual contact" ... including oral and vaginal intercourse. After what she calls "abusive sex" ... Kelly allegedly criticized her for being boring in bed.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Faith caught herpes from Kelly. She says they dated for about one year, during which he mentally, verbally and sexually abused her. Faith claims he locked her in rooms, studios and cars to punish her for failing to fulfill his sexual desires. Mario Batali Cut from Restaurant Group ... Biz Partners Fed Up

Published | Updated

Mario Batali's being kicked to the curb by his business partners on the heels of new claims of sexual misconduct, including allegedly raping a customer.

B&B Hospitality Group released a statement calling the new allegations "chilling and deeply disturbing." TMZ broke the story ... NYPD's investigating Batali for allegedly raping a woman at his NYC restaurant, Babbo, back in January 2004.

His partners say they were also shocked by the "60 Minutes" report -- an employee at Batali's Spotted Pig restaurant claims Batali drugged her and sexually assaulted her in 2005.

B&B Hospitality says it's actively negotiating with Batali to buy him out, and expect to have a deal done by July 1. The group says it wants to "reinforce our core values for our employees and our guests."

Batali issued a bizarre apology after allegations first surfaced in December. He's denied the "60 Minutes" report.

R. Kelly Alleged Sex Slave Victims Families in New Lifetime Documentary

Published | Updated

Lifetime's diving deep into R. Kelly's alleged sex cult with a documentary series ... and TMZ's learned the network's getting tons of help from the families directly affected.

Tim Savage -- the father of alleged brainwashed sex slave Joycelyn Savage -- tells TMZ ... 3 families are directly involved with helping Lifetime produce the documentary. Along with the Savages, Tim tells us Michelle Gardner's playing ball, as is Angelo Clary.

And get this ... one of the scenes features Michelle in L.A. looking for her daughter, Dominique. Michelle tells us she recognized her daughter in a video we posted earlier this month interviewing Joycelyn. Dominique's the one wearing the baseball hat and black t-shirt.

We're told Michelle somehow found Dominique and brought her back home with her. As far as Angelo ... he's been trying to find his daughter, Azriel, for some time now. As we reported ... Angelo claims Azriel met Kelly when she was 17 and shortly after meeting Angelo says she moved in with him.

In addition to the doc, Lifetime also has a movie in the works. We've reached out to Lifetime ... so far no word back.

Famous Brothel To Vegas Golden Knights: Win & You're In ... Us

Published | Updated

As if the Vegas Golden Knights needed more motivation to win the Stanley Cup, now a famous Nevada brothel is sweetening the deal ... offering a massive sex victory party if they can seal the deal.

A rep for Sheri's Ranch tells TMZ Sports ... they've noticed an uptick in business during the team's insane run -- and the girls have decided they want to show their appreciation.

Dena -- the madam of the bordello -- says, "If the Golden Knights win, we all win. Offering the team a victory celebration at our adult resort is the least we can do."

"The victory party will involve the full complement of over two dozen gorgeous women and the entire sex menu will be available to any and all players wishing to partake of the brothel’s highly coveted erotic services -- compliments of the house."

Allissa -- one of the prostitutes -- added, "If the Knights go all the way, I’ll go all the way."

Sooo ... go Golden Knights?

Ex-DMB Violinist Boyd Tinsley Sued for Sexual Harassment ... By Boy Band Member

Published | Updated

5/18 1:18 PM PT -- Tinsley tells us, "I will defend myself against these false accusations. I can only assume the motivation for the lawsuit filed against me. These accusations have caused embarrassment for my family, my friends and my fans. I will fight both in and out of court to repair the damage that has been done."

Boyd Tinsley, the former Dave Matthews Band violinist, has been sued by a man who says Boyd sent him disgusting, sexually suggestive texts, and even masturbated next to him when he was sleeping.

James Winn claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, he was a street musician in San Francisco when Tinsley discovered him in 2007, when he was 18. Winn says Tinsley created a boy band called Crystal Garden. Winn was the trumpet player in the band.

Winn says things turned really bad in 2015, when Tinsley allegedly started flirting, sexting and physically touching him. Winn claims in 2015, he bought 5 tickets to a sporting event for Winn, saying, "Man, you better suck my d*** or something."

In another instance, Winn says the same year they were working on music in Tinsley's living room when they both got tired. Winn says Tinsley began touching him on his leg, putting his feet on his butt and rubbing his back. Winn says he fell asleep and woke up horrified to see Tinsely ejaculating right next to him, rubbing his penis with one hand and Winn's butt with the other.

Winn claims a week later Tinsley texted, apologizing and saying he was "messed up" and he had "confused his pills."

And there were other texts, Winn claims. In one, Tinsley allegedly wrote, "You're such boner material and I want you at your best. I'm actually masturbating to the thought of your shots." It goes on ... "prob will have you shave your pubes, at least above the c*** base."

Tinsley took an indefinite break from the Dave Matthews Band in February, when rumors of the allegations began to surface, saying he needed to focus on his family and health.

A rep for DMB told us, "We are shocked by these disturbing allegations and we were not previously aware of them."

Teairra Mari Suing Ex & 50 Cent For Leaking the Sex Tape

Published | Updated

'Love & Hip Hop' star Teairra Mari said her ex-bf leaked a sex video as revenge for breaking up with him ... so she's suing him and 50 Cent for reposting a sexually explicit image.

Teairra -- flanked by her attorneys, Lisa Bloom and Walter Mosley -- broke down in tears during an emotional news conference Thursday to announce the suit. Teairra said the ugly episode was triggered after she broke up with Akbar Abdul-Ahad after finding out he was cheating on her.

The reality star claims Akbar had her Instagram password and posted a video and an obscene photo of her as payback and to humiliate her. Teairra claims Fiddy, Akbar's close friend, then reposted an image to his 18 million followers before it was taken down.

Lisa said they'll file a police report later Thursday along with the suit. She added, "We have a significant piece of evidence that points to [Akbar]." AAA denies he was behind the act.

Should be noted ... questions as to whether Teairra was allegedly behind taking a metal rod to Akbar's G-Wagon were not raised.

Chris Brown Friend Under Review for Rape Charges

Published | Updated

Chris Brown's friend, Lowell Grissom Jr., who's been accused of raping a woman during a party at the singer's house ... is now officially on the L.A. County District Attorney's radar.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... LAPD has sent the case to the D.A.'s Office. You'll recall, an anonymous woman claims Grissom, Brown and another woman held her captive in a room at Chris' house ... and that Grissom raped her twice.

The woman, who's suing as a Jane Doe, said she reported the rapes to police. LAPD's completed its investigation, but our sources tell us the evidence is thin, and it will be hard to prove a lack of consensual sex.

Still, it's been presented to the D.A. to make a final decision about charges.

Grissom has denied the allegations, and claims the woman -- and her attorney, Gloria Allred -- are just out for a money grab.

Christie Brinkley Uptown Girl Gettin' Down with Stormy Daniels' Lawyer

Published | Updated

Christie Brinkley's been divorced from Billy Joel for decades, but it seems she still likes big shots ... this one in the form of Stormy Daniels' lawyer.

Christie got super cozy Saturday night with Michael Avenatti. Christie and her brood were dining at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, NY, when Avenatti pulled up a chair toward the end of the meal. Everyone else left, but Christie and Mike stuck around to chat, laugh and be merry.

It's unclear what exactly they were discussing, but we imagine one subject might've come up -- Donald Trump. She's claimed Trump hit on her while he was married to Ivana Trump, and when she was dating Billy. She said Trump invited her to Aspen on his private jet ... she declined.

Avenatti tells us he and Christie are friends. He says she's a "classy, smart woman with great insight."

Michael Avenatti ... he hangs with women who banged Trump and women who didn't.

'A Different World' Cosby Can't Smear Legacy of Our Show ... Says Kadeem Hardison

DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF THE ART

Bill Cosby's criminal behavior should not overshadow the cultural impact "A Different World" had in the '80s and '90s -- and could still have today -- according to one of its stars, Kadeem Hardison.

We got Kadeem, aka Dwayne Wayne, at LAX and asked him about the show he and Lisa Bonet made a huge hit. Of course, it was a 'Cosby Show' spin-off -- but Kadeem insists Cosby's sexual assault conviction can't drag down the show.

Kadeem does give Cosby credit for one thing and one thing only. Beyond that ... he says the show's impact on black culture stands on its own, and says it can't be tarnished by its creator.

As we've reported, Cosby was found guilty on all 3 counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and molesting Andrea Constand. He's awaiting sentencing, and could get up to 30 years in prison.
