DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB

Pete Wentz is a big Fortnite gamer -- he loves it -- but he knows he's got NO CHANCE in hell of winning a single dollar from the upcoming $100 MILLION prize pool.

Instead, Wentz says the only real gamers who could get rich from Fortnite are players like Ninja ... a Fortnite god who chews up and spits out casual gamers like Drake for breakfast.

"I feel like I would have better luck doing ANYTHING than making money off Fortnite," the Fall Out Boy bassist told us in Studio City.

The company behind Fortnite -- Epic Games -- announced the 9-figure prize pool for the 2018 season earlier this week and gamers have been scrambling to put together elite squads to go after the money.

But, Wentz has a point ... players like Ninja, TSM Myth and FaZe Tfue will murder you and all of your avatars when real money is on the line.

Good luck, though ...

Aaron Schlossberg 'Racist Rant' Lawyer Says He's No Racist ... I Love Immigrants!!

Published | Updated

Aaron Schlossberg -- the attorney who threatened to call ICE on Fresh Kitchen employees who were speaking Spanish -- says ya got him all wrong, America ... he actually LOVES diversity and immigrants!

One week after he became public enemy #1, Schlossberg is issuing an apology ... of sorts. He says seeing the viral video of himself helped him see "the manner in which I expressed myself is unacceptable and is not the the person I am."

Schlossberg claims, "What the video did not convey is the real me. I am not racist."

Umm ... ok.

He added, "One of the reasons I moved to New York is precisely because of the remarkable diversity offered in this wonderful city." Schlossberg also claims "immigrants and diversity of cultures" are why he loves America.

All the tweeted apology was missing was "viva la raza" -- but his apparent 180 comes after cultural diversity partied showed up in droves on his doorstep.

Peaceful protesters were outside his NYC apartment building all weekend accompanied by mariachi music. Gotta love New York.

Lil Xan Breaks Down His Mental Breakdown

Published | Updated

Lil Xan says he suffers from anxiety and that's what everyone saw on display when he keyed his whip ... but he's good now, and so is the G-Wagon.

We got the rapper Tuesday at LAX, and asked what led to his mental breakdown a couple weeks ago. You'll recall, LX kicked the crap outta his brand new Mercedes SUV and keyed the ride -- all while going off about being a slave to his management. He also bitched about having zero control of all the money he's making.

Lil Xan's definitely looking and feeling better now. He especially dug the Audrey Hepburn compliment our camera guy gave him. But, it's interesting, as LX started breaking down what drove him to key his car, his manager yelled from off-camera ... warning him not to say anything stupid.

Xan kept his cool and spilled some tea about his mental health.

Viral 'Hot Cop' Warns Survivor Cast Members Social Media Will Kill You!!!

Published | Updated

The "hot cop" who scored a spot on the new season of 'Survivor' is schooling the other contestants on what he's learned from his 15 minutes of fame by warning them to delete "anything that can bite you in the ass over social media."

TMZ has obtained an email Daniel Rengering fired off in a chain with 12 other 'Survivor' contestants where he admits to creeping on their socials and warning them to "fine-tooth comb" anything that could publicly crucify them online.

Daniel warns the "Internet is a cruel, heartless bitch" where "trolls are going to work twice that hard to tear you down, spread nasty gossip and ruin your reputation."

Daniel's seen it happen firsthand after one of the cops in the photo that made him famous was accused of posting several anti-Semitic remarks to his Facebook in 2011, so it appears Daniel's intentions aren't to gloat, but rather to warn the others.

He also adds, "If a small-town country boy like me can host on the GRAMMYs, Oscars and SAG Awards Red Carpets, from a single viral photo, you guys can turn this opportunity into so much more."

ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

Lil Tay shaded our photog for daring to asking about her rumored million-dollar deal with Tunes Audio Headphones.

We got the 9-year-old hitting up Nice Guy Saturday in WeHo, where we dared to ask about her supposed score. By the way, we're not vouching for the deal ... at all.

Nonetheless ... she fired back at us for asking the self-proclaimed "World's Youngest Flexer" about the deal.

Her mom was recently fired from her job at a Vancouver real estate company for her involvement in Tay's career.

Tomi Lahren Schlossberg's Racist Rant? Yeah, That Whole Thing's Ridiculous

Published | Updated

Tomi Lahren says a New York-based attorney who's gone viral for an incredibly racist rant he unleashed this week is rude ... and ridiculous.

We got the conservative talk show host Wednesday at LAX, where we showed her video of Aaron Schlossberg yelling at a restaurant manager for allowing his employees to speak Spanish to customers -- while also threatening to call ICE on the staff before storming out.

Tomi says no one deserves to be treated like that, whether they're native English speakers or not. She sticks to her guns on policy topics like assimilation and merit-based immigration ... but she says Schlossberg simply went too far here.

BTW ... this ain't Schlossberg's first rodeo for getting into people's faces and screaming bigoted rhetoric. He's been captured in multiple videos confronting people on the streets of New York over immigration.

Also ... he was reportedly booted from his office space Thursday.

Virgin America Buckle Up, Todrick Hall ... You're Getting Sued for Safety Video

Published | Updated

The production company behind Virgin America's wildly popular safety video is pissed because it claims the guy who created it, got sloppy ... legally speaking.

The airline's super-bouncy little ditty about buckling seat belts, life vests and oxygen masks was created by Todrick Hall -- a singer and choreographer you probably remember from "American Idol," "Rupaul's Drag Race" and also the safety video. If you've ever flown Virgin, the damn song probably stuck in your head for the whole flight.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, when Todrick sold the video to Virgin for $3,000, he told them he had cleared all components of it -- meaning he had legal rights to the music, lyrics, voices and performances.

The company that produced the video for Todrick is called Virgin Produced 2.0 (a production arm of Virgin Group). According to the suit, if Todrick had NOT cleared something in the video, he would be on the hook for it.

Enter said hook -- Virgin America and Virgin Produced 2.0 got sued by a woman named Noemi Del Rio, who says she worked with Todrick in 2013 to co-create the safety video. That's her voice during the distinctive "little girl's rap" section. Del Rio says she never gave Todrick rights to her voice, so she's suing to get paid.

In its lawsuit against Todrick, Virgin Produced 2.0 says he's gotta cover their ass, financially speaking, for the lawsuit with Del Rio.

Translation: This is your captain speaking, and there's gonna be some turbulence ahead, Todrick. Fasten your seat belt. *DING*

'Yanny' vs. 'Laurel' Mystery Solved!!!

Published | Updated

The "Yanny" vs. "Laurel" debate has torn friends, families and the Internet apart ... and we finally have the definitive answer as to what the recording REALLY says.

** SPOILER ALERT BELOW THAT WILL END ALL ARGUMENTS **

Ok, enough debate. It's Laurel.

According to the guy who originally posted the audio -- Redditor RolandCamry -- he recorded the robotic pronounciation of the word "Laurel" from vocabulary.com. Roland says he recorded the audio off his speakers, which caused the distortion.

Roland tells TMZ ... he and a friend were simply surfing vocabulary.com when they came across the word. He says he heard "Laurel," but his friend heard "Yanny" ... and that's why they posted the clip online to spark a bigger conversation.

Audio experts have said the reason people hear it differently is because everyone hears frequencies differently. They also blamed the crappy quality of the recording for the distortion.

Anyway, now ya know. Sooooo, technically -- suck it, "Yanny" people.

Danielle Bregoli I Matched a LeAnn Rimes Record ... Now, Who the Hell is She??

Published | Updated

Danielle Bregoli is celebrating a huge achievement in the music biz by dropping an inadvertent, but freakin' hilarious, diss on the last person to do it ... LeAnn Rimes.

We got Bhad Bhabie Tuesday in Chicago -- the latest stop on her tour -- and the photog asked how it felt to be the youngest female artist since '97 to score 3 Billboard Hot 100 hits. Her single, "Gucci Flip Flops," just peaked at #80 this week.

She was stoked, and wanted to know who else did it. The photog told her it was LeAnn, and you have to see Bhabie's reaction. Gotta hand it to her, it's hysterical ... IF you're not LeAnn Rimes.

As for her future in music -- Danielle says she's gonna, "Do what I do."

We'd expect nothing less. BTW, if you ARE LeAnn ... shout out to your glory days.

John Travolta Dances Onstage with 50 Cent ... It's Cannes Lightning!!!

Published | Updated

John Travolta got a case of "Saturday Night Fever" on a weeknight in Cannes, and showed off his dancing skills right next to 50 Cent ... well, just a lil bit.

The "Grease" and "Staying Alive" actor/dance legend joined the rapper onstage in a full tuxedo ... and busted out some very limited moves for the crowd. The outfit doesn't really scream hip-hop, but was pretty fitting for the dad vibe he gave off.

Travolta's at the annual film fest for the premiere of "Gotti" -- which he produced and stars in as the notorious Gambino family crime boss.

We haven't seen it yet, but we've seen all his dance flicks and we'll just say this -- he's still got his rhythm.

Boston Dynamics' Robot Runs, Jumps & Scares The Crap outta Us

Published | Updated

No more joking that robots will one day replace and/or destroy humans ... cause s*** just got real thanks to the nerds at Boston Dynamics.

The robotics company released this video of its insanely human-like robot named Atlas going out for some air -- Boston Dynamics' own words, not ours. The robot's missing a head, but who cares? As you can see in the video, Atlas seamlessly goes for a jog and jumps over a log ... all on its own.

That Atlas can perform these tasks effortlessly is scary in more ways than one. Oh, btw ... didn't Elon Musk warn us about this?

Lil Tay I Got Mama Jokes for Ugly Ass TMZ Even Though Mine Had to Quit Her Job

Published | Updated

Lil Tay's talking serious smack about mamas -- especially the one who birthed our camera guy -- but her own mother suddenly has employment issues ... due to Tay's antics.

The foul-mouthed 9-year-old rapper strolled into Mastro's Steakhouse in Bev Hills Thursday evening -- with her pal Swaggy the husky -- and when we dared to ask a question about Danielle Bregoli ... she went off.

Sure, bringing up her archenemy probably wasn't the smartest tactic, but damn!

Meanwhile, Tay's outrageous social media video clips might have cost her mother a sweet job with a real estate agency.

Turns out the Mercedes in this vid belongs to her mother's boss, who was pretty pissed it was a prop for the trash-talking kid. Mama Tay reportedly saw the writing on the wall, and quit before she could be fired.

This rap thing better work out ... Tay's bringing home the bacon now!

R. Kelly to Spotify My Songs Aren't About 'Hate'!!! It's BS to Censor Me

Published | Updated

R. Kelly is calling out Spotify for what he calls its hypocritical move to yank his tunes from all playlists.

Kelly's team fired back at Spotify's decision to stop promoting his music on their playlists while allegations he's running a sex cult continue to swirl. His managers say the streaming service is "bowing to social-media fads" and "picking sides in a fame-seeking dispute."

Most importantly, they point out, Kelly has not been charged with a crime, and doesn't have any pending criminal charges against him. They add, Spotify's new "Hate Content & Hateful Conduct" policy has no relevance to Kelly's love songs -- especially when the service continues to feature artists who are "convicted felons," and whose lyrics promote violence against women.

BTW, XXXTentacion's getting the same treatment from Spotify. One of his reps sent a letter to a NY Times writer in which she names names of other artists who've been accused of sexual misconduct. Important to note, most have denied the allegations and very few have been criminally charged.

Wayne Brady Friend-Zoned Guy Screwed Himself On 'Let's Make a Deal'

Published | Updated

Wayne Brady says the guy who got slammed into the friend-zone on "Let's Make A Deal" only has himself to blame ... 'cause he should've nailed down his relationship status before the show.

We got Wayne outside K Bakery in Pacific Palisades Wednesday, and he swore the brutal-to-watch diss -- which has gone viral -- was painfully real. If ya missed it ... contestants Steve and Jessie dressed in matching '70s prom outfits, prompting Wayne to ask how long they'd been together.

It all went downhill from there.

Wayne says he feels bad for Steve, but it's clear the guy missed some important social cues.

Steve and Jessie ultimately won a trip to Mexico on the show. As far as he knows, the trip's still a go ... but Wayne says it's not clear if it's gonna be booked for one or two.

Yodeling Kid Famous on Spotify Just Look At My Numbers!!!

Published | Updated

Yodel Kid's taking more than just country music by storm ... the kid's officially a global superstar and he's got enormous Spotify numbers to prove it.

11-year-old Mason Ramsey -- the boy who became famous after yodeling at a Walmart in Illinois -- racked up more than 600k streams on the giant music streaming service after his "Famous" single dropped Friday. And those numbers only swelled over the weekend -- as of Monday, Mason's got a whopping 2.13 million streams (and counting) to become the most-streamed country song globally on Spotify.

What's more impressive ... we're told Mason's global success has also boosted Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" by more than 2,000%. It's the song Mason yodeled last month during an impromptu performance that set the internet on fire.

But that's not all ... After killing it at Stagecoach, Mason's also now No. 1 on iTunes in the good 'ol US of A and in the UK for country music.

THIS NEXT VERSE THO

Kanye West's new track is out, and the lyrics include lines like "poopity scoop," "scoobity doop" and more "scoopity woops."

Kanye tweeted a link to his site Friday, which shows the song is labeled "Lift Yourself Master." Like a lot of things the rapper has said or posted on Twitter this week ... it's hard to tell what's really going on here.

Is this really a full track? Will it be on one of his new albums? Or ... is he just having fun in the studio?

Whatever it is ... it's probably going to get stuck in your head once you listen to it.

Enjoy!
