John Goodman's happy Roseanne Barr's happy about getting a congratulatory call from Donald Trump ... but the idea of the Prez calling him? That's a laugh riot.

Dan Conner was out in L.A. Thursday, looking way more chipper than the day before about "Roseanne" grabbing the attention of 18.2 million viewers in the sitcom's return to TV. He says the Trump call meant a lot to his TV wife -- but only needed 2 words to make it clear, he and Roseanne are NOT on the same page when it comes to POTUS.

As we reported ... 45 kinda took credit for 'Roseanne's' success, since its star is a Trump supporter, both on the show and in real life.

Donald Trump is still knee-deep in the TV ratings game -- even as President of the United States -- as Roseanne Barr can attest ... 'cause he called to congratulate her on her 18 million viewers.

Trump confirmed the phone call Thursday, during an event in Ohio, and it sounds like he was more excited about it than even Roseanne and ABC execs -- because he's kinda taking credit for her big win.

He definitely knows his demographics, and told the audience of factory workers "Roseanne" was "about us." On the show, Roseanne voted for Trump ... and butts heads with her sister who supported Hillary.

Stormy Daniels and her immediate family aren't letting her showdown with President Trump slow down their daily activities, but she is rolling with oversized protection now.

Stormy was out in her hometown of Dallas on Wednesday with her husband Glendon Crain -- the guy with shades, no sleeves -- and their daughter.

If the ex-porn star seems kinda carefree, probably has a lot to do with the bodyguard -- big, tall, with earbuds -- shadowing her.

Stormy's little girl is the child she referenced on "60 Minutes" when describing the 2011 threat she says she got from a strange guy in Las Vegas. She claims the man said, "That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom."

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti believes the threat can only be traced back to 2 people -- Trump or his attorney, Michael Cohen.

President Trump just lost hope in the White House -- his trusted aide Hope Hicks left 1600 Penn. with a warm, and slightly awkward goodbye.

Trump and his former Communications Director's Thursday morning photo op featured a kiss on the cheek and 2 firm handshakes. Hope seemed to briefly attempt a friendly father-daughter type hug as they parted ways.

The Prez turned to the cameras and pointed at Hope, possibly giving her a plug for future employment. Makes sense -- he's reportedly referred to her as a surrogate daughter, and the nickname, "Hopie."

Daughter or not, her comment to the House Intelligence Committee about telling "white lies" as part of her job seemed to be too much.

Caroline Sunshine -- best known for her role as Tinka Hessenheffer on the hit Disney show, "Shake It Up" -- is going to do her best to brighten up Trump's White House ... by working in his press office.

The 22-year-old actress is joining the team as a press assistant, after serving recently as a White House intern. Her role will most likely involve lending a hand to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, President Trump's WH Press Secretary.

According to a WH spokesperson, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party before making the move to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Sunshine appeared on the Disney show from 2010 to 2013 alongside stars Zendaya and Bella Thorne, but has steered her career more toward politics in recent years.

George W. Bush doesn't spin himself right round when he's getting down on the dance floor, but the ex-President's definitely got moves ... just ask his nephew's new bride.

Dubya attended Pierce Bush and Sarahbeth Melton's wedding this weekend in Colorado Springs, where 43 was seen dancing up a storm at the reception after the couple said 'I do.'

Bush had no shame in his game while busting out some sorta dance -- the short-circuiting Robot Running Man, maybe -- with Sarahbeth to 'You Spin Me Round.' She was definitely spinning, but the ex-Prez stuck to a simple full-body shake. Classic.

Donald Trump is keeping mum on whether he watched Stormy Daniels' explosive interview ... but he's sure she has no proof to back up her claims.

Trump's Deputy Press Secretary, Raj Shah, got a barrage of questions about Stormy's "60 Minutes" sit-down where she detailed her alleged tryst with Trump, and the overall theme was ... inconsistent. Shah came up with multiple ways to say 45 thinks Stormy is consistently inconsistent about their alleged affair -- including her signing statements denying it outright.

Shah also said the Prez doesn't believe Stormy was threatened in Las Vegas to keep quiet about him ... and especially not by anyone on his behalf. Even further, he insists she has no one to corroborate that bombshell allegation.

Ivanka Trump's brother-in-law broke ranks in a big way by participating in Saturday's March for Our Lives rally.

Joshua Kushner -- Jared Kushner's younger brother -- showed up to the rally Saturday at the nation's capitol and joined the hundreds of thousands advocating for gun control. There was a noticeable -- and predictable -- White House absence at the rally.

But, Joshua didn't simply just take part in the march. He reportedly donated $50k to the rally earlier this month. Joshua, who attended the rally with his longtime gf, Karlie Kloss -- posted on Instagram and simply captioned it with, #marchforourlives.

Stormy Daniels says she and her then-infant daughter were threatened by a strange man who told her to shut her mouth over the story of her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

Daniels sat down with Anderson Cooper on "60 Minutes" and chronicled what she says was a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 that ultimately resulted in threats and hush money.

Stormy says that after she sat down and dished about Trump with In Touch magazine in 2011, she was approached by a man in a Las Vegas parking lot, whom she says told her to "Leave Trump alone. Forget the story." She also claims he then looked at her daughter and said ... "That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom."

She goes on to claim the guy ghosted after that, and she never saw him again. Anderson asks if Stormy took that as a threat, and she says ... "Absolutely." Stormy says she was "rattled" by the alleged encounter, adding that she never went to police over it out of fear.

Stormy Daniels claims she softened up Donald Trump during their second meeting by spanking him ... and then banging him.

The porn star made the explosive allegation Sunday on "60 Minutes" with Anderson Cooper while describing her alleged sexual encounter with the President. She says she met him at his hotel suite for dinner in '06, where she claims she spanked him with his own magazine.

Stormy claims the spanking was all in good fun, and it actually opened Trump up in conversation. She says he then pitched the idea of casting her in "Celebrity Apprentice" over dinner, and that they had consensual sex afterward ... allegedly without a condom.

She makes a point to say she's not a victim, and that her story isn't a #MeToo moment. Stormy also claims Trump brushed off talk of his wife, Melania Trump -- who'd just given birth to Barron -- by saying they stayed in separate rooms, and not to worry about her.

If Aubrey O'Day is looking for a new career move, she should seriously consider doing porn.

Pornhub, one of the biggest porn sites out there, tells us searches for O'Day's name on their site rose a whopping 10,405% after news broke of her alleged affair with the President's spawn, Donald Trump Jr.

Site reps say it's not unusual for someone's search popularity to spike after a new relationship or love interest is revealed, but by comparison, searches for Meghan Markle's name on Pornhub only shot up by about 2,200% when news of her dating Prince Harry broke.

Let it be clear ... O'Day has never done porn, nor does she have porn videos on the site (that we know of) and neither does Markle, for that matter.

Donald Trump is making moves to ban transgender people from the military ... backing up a pledge he made last summer on Twitter.

The President issued an order Friday to ban transgender troops ... except for under limited circumstances. Trump filed the paperwork in Seattle, and it states ... "persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria – including individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery – are disqualified from military service except under limited circumstances.”

The memo does allow for some leeway in implementing the policy.

As you may recall, Trump ordered the Dept. of Defense to prevent openly transgender people from serving in August 2017 ... about a month after his tweet -- which seemingly came out of nowhere -- declaring transgender people were no longer allowed to serve in the military.

Aubrey O'Day is telling close friends she absolutely had a sexual relationship with Donald Trump Jr. for months, but she strongly believes it has nothing to do with Trump's divorce.

Sources closely connected to O'Day tell TMZ, she had an affair with Trump Jr., but it didn't start until AFTER she filmed "The Celebrity Apprentice." She says she has "proof" of the affair. Our sources say Aubrey was told by Trump his marriage had fallen apart and he intended to leave his wife, Vanessa, and Aubrey believed it.

The sources say Vanessa knew about the affair when it was happening in 2012. We're told Vanessa flew into a rage and eventually it got to Donald Trump, who told his son, in no uncertain terms, he had to end the relationship and "focus on his marriage to make it work."

DJT Jr. swiftly cut things off with Aubrey.

We're told Aubrey is "devastated" people are calling her a homewrecker. She says, first of all, she was told DJT Jr.'s marriage was over. Secondly, she says her affair did NOT trigger the divorce 6 years later.

For now Aubrey doesn't want to come forward and tell her story because, as one source put it, "she's already lost." We're told she didn't sign an NDA and was never even asked to sign one ... and she says she hasn't gotten a penny from the Trump family.

She says no one from Trump's family has reached out to her since the news broke.

Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal got emotional talking about her relationship with Donald Trump, and although she admits she knew it was wrong ... she says the 2 were in love.

The 1998 Playboy Playmate of the Year sat down with CNN's Anderson Cooper ... and got misty-eyed talking about her alleged affair with Trump in 2006. McDougal says she's sorry for what she did and felt guilty about it, but she put the guilt aside because she was having fun ... and truly believed they had a meaningful thing going.

Karen claims she and Trump were much more than just sex partners -- they even said "I love you" to each other frequently -- and he had lovey nicknames for her too.

Earlier in the interview, McDougal reiterated one of her previous claims -- Trump tried to pay her money for sex. She says she declined and it made her sad because she couldn't believe he thought of her that way ... and she cried the whole ride home.
