MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell Stop the Hammering Or I'll Do It For You ... Total Meltdown!!!

Published | Updated

Keep your damn hammers quiet when MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell is working or he'll have to ... go down to the "goddamned floor" himself and stop it!

O'Donnell hammered that point home when he absolutely melted down while shooting an MSNBC broadcast, reportedly on Aug. 29. The veteran reporter lost it on the floor crew, the control room ... and whoever had the audacity to hammer during his show. He said he was also getting extraneous noise in his earpiece.

In his defense, the construction noise was blatant, and would reasonably be distracting O'Donnell as he tried to do his job. He added the whole situation was "f**king out of control."

Lawrence apologized about the incident Wednesday evening, tweeting ... "A better anchorman and a better person would've had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I'm sorry."

LO's flip out is good, but for our money -- Bill O'Reilly's still got the crown. 'Cause he did it LIVE!

ADDRESSING THE ISSUE

Kevin Durant says it was "childish" and "idiotic" to slam his former OKC Thunder coach and teammates on Twitter this week ... but insists he was NOT trying to do it from a secret 2nd account.

KD just addressed the situation at TechCrunch Disrupt -- where he was asked straight-up if he intended to post the anti-OKC tweets from an anonymous account so nobody would know it was him.

Durant denied the allegation ... only admitting to another Instagram account -- "but that's just for my friends and family so I wouldn't say I was using that to clap back at anybody."

KD says he enjoys engaging with basketball fans on Twitter but, "I happened to take it a little too far" when he told 1 fan that he left OKC because he "didn't like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan."

"I don't regret clapping back at anybody or talking to my fans on Twitter," Durant said at TechCrunch ... "I do regret using my former coach's name and the former organization that I played for."

"That was childish. That was idiotic. All those type of words ... I regret doing that and I apologize to him for doing that."

KD says he felt bad about it ... but will continue to use Twitter.

Dick Gregory's Son Emmys Snub 'Highly Disrespectful' ... We Never Got a Phone Call

Published | Updated

Dick Gregory's family didn't hear a peep from anyone involved with the Emmys regarding honoring the iconic comedian, and they absolutely consider it a slap in the face.

One of Dick's sons, Christian Gregory, tells TMZ the omission Sunday night from the In Memoriam segment was especially disrespectful due to his father's legacy. Christian points out most actors and producers of color wouldn't even be working in TV without Dick's civil rights activism and success in entertainment.

As we reported, Gregory, Charlie Murphy, Harry Dean Stanton and Frank Vincent were all left out of the tribute. Murphy's camp had been contacted for photos, but he was still absent from the broadcast segment.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences hasn't offered an explanation, but they've added all of them -- except Vincent -- to the Academy's website memoriam.

Emmys 2017 Dick Gregory, Charlie Murphy, Frank Vincent, Harry Dean Stanton Forgotten In Memoriam

Published | Updated

The showrunners for the 2017 Emmys forgot to honor some noteworthy performers during their in memoriam segment ... including Dick Gregory, Charlie Murphy, Harry Dean Stanton and Frank Vincent who all died this year.

During the memorial montage of Hollywood stars who passed away so far in 2017, a bunch of TV stars, producers and other figures in showbiz were remembered except the above 4 guys ... and many people noticed the omissions, including Common.

It's odd ... all 4 actors had performed in TV shows and series in their careers at one point or another. Gregory had starred in "Reno 911!" and "Wonder Showzen", Murphy in "Chappelle's Show" and "The Boondocks" and others, Stanton in a number of TV roles and Vincent in "The Sopranos."

Still ... the Emmys failed to recognize them regardless.

Donald Trump I Was Right About Charlottesville!!! 'Bad Dudes' On Both Sides

Published | Updated

Donald Trump is back to blaming "both sides" for the violence in Charlottesville ... and gloating that he was right to say it in the first place.

Trump was on Air Force One Thursday when he said he'd told South Carolina's Republican Senator Tim Scott -- the day before -- that there were "bad dudes" on the other side of white supremacist protests.

The Prez doubled down, saying Antifa's actions since then prove he was right all along -- "I said you got some really bad people on the other side also, which is true."

Why he decided to bring up the subject again -- after backpedaling from the divisive remarks -- is anyone's guess.

Floyd Mayweather Defends Trump's Locker Room Talk 'He Speak Like a Real Man'

Published | Updated

Floyd Mayweather says his friend Donald Trump's infamous "grab them by the p***y" comment is no big deal ... because Trump was just talking like a "real man."

Floyd appeared on the "Hollywood Unlocked" show when he was asked about the leaked Access Hollywood video from 2005 -- you know the one.

Floyd agrees with Trump that it was just "locker room talk" ... and explains how the language Trump used is simply how "real men" speak to each other.

"Real men speak like, 'Man, she had a fat ass. You see her ass? I had to squeeze her ass. I had to grab that fat ass.' Right? So he talking locker room talk."

"I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the p***y. And?"

Bottom line -- Floyd thinks Trump was just keepin' it real.

Bobbi Kristina's Estate Joins Bobby Brown to Stop Biopic

Bobbi Kristina's estate has now joined forces with Bobby Brown to stop TV One from doing a biopic on Bobbi Kristina's life ... TMZ has learned.

Bobby has already filed suit, claiming the portrayal as a bad dad is defamatory.

Bobbi Kristina's estate has now joined the lawsuit, claiming the biopic violates Bobbi Kristina's right to privacy, which they claim survived her death.

Bobby Brown has already claimed in his lawsuit the movie falsely shows him as a violent person toward Whitney Houston. The show suggests Bobbi Kristina witnessed the alleged abuse. He also claims the scenes show him as an unloving father.

The estate and Bobby want more than $2 million in damages and they want the judge to block the airing of the show.

The show is set to air on TV One next month.

Gigi Hadid Walks Off Lost Heel Mid-Runway

Published | Updated

If Gigi Hadid loses a high heel while working a Fashion Week runway, but keeps going like she still has it on ... did she really lose it?

The answer is yes, but Gigi did a helluva job Monday in NYC of covering up during the Anna Sui show. It's unclear how, or why, but she lost the shoe just as she headed down the cat walk.

This could've spelled disaster -- remember the spill her sister Bella took? But you'd never know there was a problem if you weren't looking at Gigi's feet.

She gets an A for the save. Whoever strapped on her shoe does not.

Baker Mayfield has a target on his back for that whole flag-planting stunt -- and the Ohio State alums in the NFL will make him pay for it ... so says ex-Buckeyes star Beanie Wells.

The former OSU running back tells TMZ Sports Mayfield's move was "the ultimate disrespect ... a slap in the face" -- and current and former Ohio State players are pretty pissed about it.

Wells says he spoke with a bunch of current OSU players after they got beaten by Oklahoma this weekend -- and they're embarrassed.

But Wells keeps it real saying if they didn't wanna be dissed, they shoulda won the game!

Still, Mayfield's gonna pay for the move ... whether it's now or later.

"There's gonna be a bullseye on his back. If he goes to the National Football League and plays, any Buckeyes are gonna be after him."

FYI, there's a bunch of pretty solid OSU guys in the league right now ... Joey Bosa, Cameron Heyward, Gareon Conley, Johnathan Hankins.

You've been warned ...

Hillary Clinton on Trump His Inauguration Speech Was A 'Cry from the White Nationalist Gut'

Published | Updated

Hillary Clinton thinks Donald Trump's Inauguration speech was actually a rallying cry for white nationalists ... and she blurted that out on national television.

HC was being interviewed by CBS Sunday, reflecting on her election loss (again) when she started describing the conundrum of whether she oughta show to Trump's Inauguration -- y'know, 'cause she lost to him ... but is also a former First Lady.

That's when she gets to her "out of body" experience on the platform listening to Trump's first speech as Prez ... which she calls a "cry from the white nationalist gut."

Basically ... she thinks Trump squandered an opportunity to unite the country, and instead played to his base with harsh rhetoric ... and, apparently, white nationalist sentiments.

We'll let Hil (and Trump) speak for themselves.

Martin Shkreli Government Wants Him in Jail After Threatening Hillary Clinton

Published | Updated

Bad boy and convicted felon Martin Shkreli may be heading to jail way sooner than he thought, because the United States government wants to put him behind bars NOW, after threatening Hillary Clinton.

The Justice Dept. just filed docs, obtained by TMZ, which states Shkreli, who is out on $5 million bail pending sentencing for securities fraud, has engaged in a "pattern of threats and harassment that warrant his detention pending sentencing." Government lawyers want his bail revoked, NOW.

The last straw was Shkreli offering $5,000 to anyone who would "grab" some of Clinton's hair during her book tour. Government lawyers say Shkreli has a huge social media following who would take the challenge seriously, and as a result the Secret Service has been spending money and using resources to deal with the threat.

The lawyers also note Shkreli has harassed 2 women, notably a journalist who shunned him, to which he responded on Twitter, "If I'm acquitted I get to f*** Lauren Duca."

The judge has not ruled on the government's motion.

Lil Wayne Hospitalized for Seizures ... Vegas Gig Canceled

Published | Updated

8:55 PM PT -- A rep for Wayne confirms he suffered multiple seizures and his Vegas show has been canceled. We're told he's currently resting.

Lil Wayne was hospitalized yet again this weekend for his ongoing bout with epilepsy and the seizures that come with it, TMZ has learned, and this time it might have torpedoed Sunday night's Vegas gig.

Multiple sources tell us Wayne was hospitalized Sunday in Chicago after he was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Westin on Michigan Avenue after suffering at least one seizure.

He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial, where we're told he suffered yet another seizure. Our sources say his team tried to have him discharged late Sunday afternoon so he could make it to his Vegas show.

However, doctors advised against the discharge, saying he should be grounded for a few days. Wayne has suffered seizures while flying before, and the doctors felt it was too risky. He very well may still be at the hospital.

Wayne is supposed to perform at Drais Beachclub in Vegas at midnight alongside Rae Sremmurd, although it's unclear if he's still planning to show as of this writing.

Seizures have plagued Wayne for years. Just last year he had to cancel an appearance in Vegas because of his epilepsy.

We've reached out to Wayne's camp on his condition ... so far, no word back.

Burning Man Guy Runs Into Flames Dies From Injuries

Published | Updated

2:47 PM PT -- 41-year-old Aaron Joel Mitchell succumbed to his injuries and died Sunday morning after running into the flames of a Burning Man statue ... according to the festival's organizers. Mitchell died after arriving to the burn center to which he was airlifted. His family was notified, and an investigation is ongoing into the circumstances of his death.

A man was airlifted to the hospital this weekend after he ran head-on into a sea of fire at the Burning Man festival ... and it was all caught on camera.

Here's how it went down ... a guy literally sprinted past fire crews Saturday night that were stationed around one of the giant burning man structures in Nevada, leaving him engulfed in flames. Firefighters leaped to the rescue and treated him on the scene.

He was then transported to an on-site medical facility, and later airlifted to a burn treatment center ... according to the festival's organizers.

Photos of the incident were captured, and they're pretty graphic. You see what appears to be a long haired man running full force into the blaze ... and then tripping and falling with fire rescuers close behind.

Unclear what his condition is as of Sunday.
