Charles Barkley I Played One NBA Game Drunk As Hell ... Here's Why

Published | Updated

Charles Barkley says there's one game in his NBA career he doesn't remember -- because he was SO drunk, it's a miracle he even got on the court.

It all went down in the late '80s after Barkley had been told he was being traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Chuck told "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" he was so happy to be getting out of Philly, he got "blasted" drunk around 11:30 AM that day ... shots, chugging, the whole deal.

Problem is ... about 3 hours into the booze sesh, Chuck's agent called back and said the deal was off and he needed to be ready to play for Philly THAT NIGHT.

What ensued, according to Barkley, was a mess.

Barkley says it's the only time he ever played drunk -- but he played HUNGOVER a bunch of times.

BONUS: Chuck also talks about how many times he's smoked weed and why it's just not his thing.

Florida Shooting 'Hero' Football Coach Died Protecting Students

Published | Updated

One of the victims in the Florida school shooting was the high school's assistant football coach -- who was killed while shielding students from the shooter, the school says.

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Varsity and JV football program confirmed one of the 17 people killed in Wednesday's attack is Aaron Feis -- "He was our assistant football coach and security guard."

"He selflessly shielded students from the shooter when he was shot. He died a hero and he will forever be in our hearts and memories."

The school's head football coach, Willis May, told the Sun-Sentinel that he spoke with a student who told him Feis shoved her out of the line of fire while jumping between her and the shooter.

May says Feis was a "Big ol' teddy bear," and a great coach who worked primarily with the offensive line.

"He took pride with working with those guys. Loyalty -- I trusted him. He had my back. He worked hard. Just a good man. Loved his family. Loved his brother. Just an excellent family man."

Esteban Loaiza Pleads Not Guilty In Cocaine Smuggling Case

Published | Updated

Ex-MLB star Esteban Loaiza is fighting the charges in his cocaine smuggling case -- pleading not guilty to possessing more than 40 POUNDS of blow.

The 46-year-old former All-Star pitcher appeared in court in his jailhouse jumpsuit -- where his lawyer told the judge he denies all of the allegations against him.

As we previously reported, cops say Loaiza had a "sophisticated" drug smuggling compartment in his vehicle -- and when they searched his home, they found the motherload. Officials say Loaiza kept the drugs in a home just steps away from a preschool.

Prosecutors say Loaiza had come back from a trip to Mexico on the same day he was arrested.

He's facing multiple felony criminal charges including possession of cocaine for sale.

The judge set Loaiza's bail at $250,000 after prosecutors argued that he's a flight risk. The judge ordered him not to leave San Diego without permission from the court.

If convicted on all counts, Loaiza faces more than 20 years in prison.

Scott Baio Exposed Himself, Called Me 'F****t' Claims Co-Star Alexander Polinsky

Published | Updated

Nicole Eggert's co-star Alexander Polinsky claims Scott Baio exposed his genitals to him and called him a homophobic slur when he was just 11 years old.

Polinsky made the damning allegations Wednesday at a news conference flanked by Eggert and his attorney, Lisa Bloom. Polinsky claimed Baio sexually harassed him and ultimately assaulted him -- with a cup of hot tea to the face -- between the ages of 11 and 15 years old.

The former child star claimed during his first year on "Charles in Charge," Baio called him a "f****t" after witnessing Eggert on Baio's lap. Polinsky alleged Baio "pulled down my pants in front of over 100 people."

Perhaps, the most bizarre allegation -- Polinksky claims Baio exposed his genitals through a hole he'd cut in Polinsky's private dressing room.

Polinsky says he doesn't intend to sue Baio, but he does want a public apology. Eggert was also at the news conference, and got emotional while talking to reporters.

As we reported ... Baio's team is set to hold its own news conference at 2 PM PT. His rep called Eggert, Polinsky and Bloom "sleaze mongers."

LaVar Ball Butchers Nas Song ... On 'Lip Sync Battle'

Published | Updated

Oh man ... this is painful.

LaVar Ball took the mic on "Lip Sync Battle" and decided to do his biggest, ballerest version of the Nas classic, "Hate Me Now" ... and yeah, everyone hates him now.

Including his son, Lonzo Ball.

The Balls competed against each other on the show (airs Thursday) -- Lonzo did "Band and Boujee" by Migos, accompanied by a bunch of twerking girl dancers.

When LaVar got his shot, he tried really hard -- but it became very obvious he didn't really know the words and just sorta jumped around and mouthed a bunch of incorrect lyrics.

Afterward, Lonzo told his dad ... "If I was Nas I'd be mad he put on a performance like that on my song. I'd be mad."

Guessing this ain't gonna help the beef between 'Zo and the NY rap star.

THE TESTICLE TESTIMONY

UFC fighter Devin Powell is one bro who won't be getting lucky on Valentine's Day -- 'cause he's in the hospital nursing a surgically-repaired nut.

No, we aren't making this up ... and Devin gave TMZ Sports the cringy play-by-play of the accident.

Devin told us he was training his ground game with UFC vet Joe Lauzon ... and it was business as usual until Joe's knee sandwiched one of his testicles and "exploded it."

"The top of it felt like a big sack of worms -- all the veins had swelled," Powell said.

The worst part -- Powell says he waited A DAY AND A HALF before getting his ruptured ball checked out.

Lucky for him, it wasn't too late. Devin says the scrotal surgery was a success ... and he's already asking Dana White to book him on an upcoming UFC card!

Seriously, the balls on this guy ...

Shaun White Sorry For Sexual Harassment Case Comments

Published | Updated

Shaun White says he's "truly sorry" for referring to his sexual harassment case as "gossip" -- saying, "It was a poor choice of words to describe such a sensitive subject in the world today."

The snowboarding legend appeared on the "Today" show early Wednesday to address the comments he made during Tuesday night's post-Olympic media conference ... where he was asked about the graphic sexual harassment suit filed against him in 2016.

TMZ Sports broke the story back in August 2016 ... White was sued by his female bandmember, Lena Zawaideh, who claimed White would text her penis pics, sex videos involving fecal matter and forced her to style her hair in a way that appeased him during her 7-year run with the group.

White denied the allegations -- but ultimately settled the case with Zawaideh in May 2017, the terms of which were not disclosed.

But Tuesday night in South Korea -- right after White won gold in the men's halfpipe -- he was asked by an ABC reporter to address the allegations. White said he was there to talk about the Olympics, not "gossip."

ADDRESSING THE ALLEGATIONS

A second reporter wanted to ask follow-up questions about the case, but was shut down by the moderator.

There didn't seem to be a lot of mainstream media interest in the case back in 2016 and 2017 -- interesting why not.

Golfer Bill Haas Injured In Fatal Ferrari Crash ... Involving Luke Wilson

Published | Updated

Golf star Bill Haas -- a 6-time PGA tour winner -- was injured Tuesday night when a Ferrari he was a passenger in rolled over and crashed in Pacific Palisades, CA -- killing the driver.

Luke Wilson's car was involved in the wreck -- but he was not injured.

The crash occurred right near Riviera Country Club -- where O.J. Simpson famously used to golf back in the day (he was banned after the murders). In fact, he golfed there with a famous movie producer the morning of the killings.

35-year-old Haas was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for pain and swelling in his legs. He suffered no broken bones and is expected to make a full recovery.

The driver of the car is a 71-year-old man. Cops have not released his name or said why they believe the Ferrari crashed in the first place.

Cops are investigating.

Fantasia Barrino Nephew Killed in Shooting

Published | Updated

2/14 -- The suspect has been identified as David Lee White, Jr. of Greensboro. He's currently being held on no bond.

Fantasia Barrino's dealing with another family tragedy -- the death of her oldest nephew, Tyquan ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources ... the singer's 18-year-old nephew died of multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday morning following an argument at a Greensboro, North Carolina residential complex that spilled out into the street.

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on Ty, and he was transported to Moses Cone Hospital ... but died shortly after. Cops have arrested a 21-year-old suspect, who's been charged with first degree murder.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Barrino posted the sad news on her Instagram Tuesday, saying ... "Auntie is So Sorry Baby. RIP to my Oldest Nephew Please Pray for his Mother and my Brother & his Stepdad." Tyquan, who went by T.W., was the son of Fantasia's musician brother, Ricco.

Ricco tells TMZ ... he's completely devastated, because he didn't get to see T.W. in the morning Tuesday like he usually does, and now he's gone.

It's been a rough stretch for Fantasia's family ... her brother Xavier has been in the hospital for months recovering from a critical motorcycle injury, as well.

Jared Fogle I Got A Raw Deal ... Nassar Got Leniency!

Published | Updated

Jared Fogle might have his most ridiculous legal argument yet for a judge to undo his plea deal -- and Larry Nassar is his exhibit A.

Fogle filed docs seeking to withdraw his guilty plea, and focuses on one of his many charges ... traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sex. He points out Dr. Nassar did NOT get slapped with this charge, and Fogle clearly thinks he should have been.

Yes, it's true ... Nassar was traveling with Team USA Gymnastics when he committed some of his crimes. Fogle, who filed the docs himself, thinks there was some bias against him because he did get that charge. He thinks he and Nassar should have gotten equal treatment under the law.

Here's why Fogle's not a great lawyer. Just one of Nassar's several sentences was for 175 years -- whereas Fogle's doing 15. He's asking the court to let him withdraw his guilty plea, presumably to get a do-over in his case.

Careful what ya wish for, jackass.

Elin Nordegren Busted for Speeding By Flying Cop!

It's a bird! It's a plane! No ... it's the cops -- and they busted Elin Nordegren for hauling ass on a Florida highway!

Tiger Woods' ex-wife was popped doing 95 in a 65 in her 2015 Cadillac on February 4 -- but it wasn't your usual speeding stop.

Officials say Elin was spotted by a single-engine Cessna airplane operated by the Florida Highway Patrol which clocked her blazing down the freeway around 3 PM (late for a Super Bowl party, perhaps?).

The fine -- $356.

Yeah, she can afford it -- remember, she got $100 mil in her divorce from Tiger back in the day.

Eagles' Hero Corey Clement Gets Dope Super Bowl Tats ... Eagles for Life!

Published | Updated

Super Bowl champ Corey Clement just made a LIFETIME deal with Philly -- as in, he just got the Eagles mascot tatted on his arm!

Clement BEASTED OUT in Super Bowl 52 in Minnesota -- hauling in 4 passes for 100 yards and a key touchdown after only catching 10 passes for 123 yards in the regular season.

So, how do you commemorate the GREATEST day of your life? Tattoos, baby!!!

The 23-year-old running back got some pretty sick ink of an Eagle tearing through his right forearm -- and the letters "SBLII" tatted on his neck.

It might get a bit awkward if Clement ever ends up playing for another team -- especially if the Dallas Cowboys come calling -- but for now, bask in the awesomeness.

'AHS' Murder House New Owners Sue ... This Place Is a Real-Life Nightmare!!!

Published | Updated

The owners of the famed Los Angeles mansion where "American Horror Story" shot its first season say they got sold a bill of haunted goods, and now they're suing ... a ghost ... so to speak.

The Rosenheim mansion hosted Ryan Murphy, Connie Britton, Sarah Paulson and the rest of the cast of 'AHS' when they shot the "Murder House" season back in 2011. Cut to 2014, when Ernst Von Schwarz and Angela Oakenfold purchased the mansion for $3.2 million.

In a lawsuit, Von Schwarz and Oakenfold say everyday since they moved in has been a nightmare. They say they had no idea their new mansion was a "macabre tourist attraction" ... visited by hundreds of loyal 'AHS' fans who trespass and even attempt to break in.

The couple says the seller never disclosed the mansion's recent past as a TV set, so they feel hoodwinked. Now the twist -- the previous owner is dead. Greta Von Steinbauer passed away in 2017, so Von Schwarz and Oakenfold are suing her estate for at least $3 mil.

Fun fact: Angela is the ex-wife of famed DJ Paul Oakenfold.
