Josh Gordon is reacting to reports he's being shipped out of Cleveland for "breaking the team's trust" -- and he ain't exactly broken up about it.

The Browns announced on Saturday they're moving on from the troubled WR after he injured his hamstring during a photo shoot.

Gordon was on thin ice with the team after racking up multiple suspensions over the years for substance abuse. The latest incident (though not substance-related) was clearly the breaking point for the Browns.

Gordon couldn't help but laugh at the reports that Browns management couldn't trust him anymore ... though he hasn't exactly opened up about his side of the story yet.

He did give a few shout-outs to some of his Browns teammates -- including Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway and Tyrod Taylor ... calling them "Brothers 4 life."

So, what does it all mean? Seems Gordon doesn't think the reports are accurate or that he's getting a fair shake.

Justin Verlander, apparently ... 'cause dude just did everything to prove he was better than you -- dominating the D-Backs and then hitting the Jay and Bey concert with his supermodel wife!!

The Astros superstar struck out 11 in Houston's huge win Sunday ... and celebrated with Kate Upton in some luxury box seats at NRG Stadium for the hottest tour on the planet afterward.

J.V. didn't seem to overexert himself after seven strong innings ... and a very pregnant Kate made sure to let everyone know the only thing she was drunk on was love (with Verlander).

Meek Mill has a song about Colin Kaepernick in the works -- saying the way the QB's been treated by the NFL is essentially a financial "lynching."

One of the lyrics -- "They won’t lynch him by hanging from a tree. They lynch his bank account."

Meek gave a preview of the song to Page Six ... saying the song will appear on his upcoming album. Other lines include ...

-- "They told Kaep to stand up if you want to play for a team, and most of his teammates said the same thing."

-- "Back in the ’30s you would be killed if you kneeled. They won’t kill you now, they just take you out of the deal."

A strong defense of his friend -- as we previously reported, Colin and Meek spoke over the phone while the rapper was locked up.

In fact, while he was imprisoned, Meek joined Colin's philanthropic offensive -- each pledging $10,000 to Philadelphia's Youth Service Inc.

After his 12-round war with Gennady Golovkin, Canelo Alvarez still had enough energy to hit the club Saturday night ... partying in Vegas past 2 AM!!

The boxer showed up to XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas ... where bikini-clad women were waiting for him with signs, glow sticks and champagne!

Canelo arrived with a beautiful lady on his arm -- and sources inside the club say they were making out like his life depended on it.

The fighter didn't seem too banged up -- though he did have a bandage over his left eye.

Josh Gordon's very strange 6 years with the Cleveland Browns have gone up in smoke ... the team just decided to release him.

Browns GM John Dorsey issued a statement Saturday, saying ... "This afternoon we informed Josh Gordon and his representatives that we are going to release him on Monday."

Dorsey added ... "For the past six years the Browns have fully supported and invested in Josh, both personally and professionally and wanted the best for him, but unfortunately we've reached a point where we feel it's best to part ways and move forward. We wish Josh well."

Earlier Saturday, Cleveland ruled Gordon out for Sunday's game against the Saints with a hamstring injury. Josh played week 1 in the tie game against the Steelers, making a single catch for a TD.

It's interesting -- Gordon missed the start of Browns camp as he continued to receive treatment for issues that kept him out of the NFL entirely in 2015 and 2016, but he returned before preseason ended and was expected to be one of their top receivers this year.

It's unclear if there was a major incident that led to the Browns' decision, but it's being reported that he showed up late to the team facility Saturday and was "not himself." Team docs were allegedly concerned he may have been struggling with substance use again.

As we reported ... he's also in the midst of a child support war and could be flirting with jail time if he doesn't get it straightened out

Peter Donat -- who appeared on several popular TV shows during his 50-year career and played Mulder's father on "The X-Files" -- has died ... according to his wife.

He reportedly died Monday at his home in Point Reyes Station, California from complications of diabetes.

Donat began his career in 1953 and was a familiar face on television for decades. He guest-starred and had recurring roles on shows like "Mission: Impossible," "The F.B.I.," "The Waltons," "Hawaii Five-O," "Hill Street Blues" and "Murder, She Wrote."

Peter had a notable role in the famous "Who Shot J.R.?" episode of "Dallas" in 1980 ... and played William Mulder, Agent Mulder's dad, on 6 episodes of "The X-Files." His film credits include "The Godfather Part II," "The War of the Roses" and "The Game."

The veteran actor had a long career on Broadway as well, making his debut in 1957.

Tiffany Haddish ain't s**t as a comedian ... is what Katt Williams is claiming after going on one of his patented rants, bashing her rise to success.

Katt joined V-103's 'Frank and Wanda' Friday and went nuclear on a bunch of comedians including Kevin Hart, Jerrod Carmichael and Hannibal Buress. But, he seemed to direct his most lethal shots at the "Girls Trip" star ... saying she's a stand-up hack.

Katt said Tiffany got famous off someone else's writing ... and ANYONE would have earned critical acclaim reading the "Girls Trip" script, which Katt claims he saw way back in 2004.

He added ... Tiffany's been in comedy since she was 16, but claims no one knows her jokes. Then there's this -- "She ain't done a tour yet. She ain't done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody."

For the record, Tiff has had specials and has a deal to do another for Netflix.

Eminem just unleashed on Machine Gun Kelly in an extremely homophobic diss track that hit everything from MGK's career to his own daughter.

Em dropped "Killshot" Friday in response to MGK's diss track, "Rap Devil," that he dropped last week. In it, MGK took shots at Eminem's age, his beard and his miserable attitude. Fans weren't expecting Em to sit quiet, and he delivered. Some lyrics ...

"Die motherf**ker like the last motherf**ker saying Hailie in vain."

"You would suck a dick to be more for a second."

"My biggest flops are your greatest hits."

"You're a molehill ... I'll make a whole mountain out of you."

Jerry Jones says his Jay-Z and Beyonce concert date with Dez Bryant was strictly bro time ... insisting the 2 didn't talk about football at all during the show.

Two UCLA women's soccer players took a knee during the national anthem before their game Thursday ... and the school tells TMZ Sports its coach is still fully in support of their protests.

Defenders Kennedy Faulknor and Kaiya McCullough -- along with 2 others on the sideline -- dropped to a knee at midfield during the song ahead of their clash with LMU. The pic was captured by Fred J. Robledo.

The women have been demonstrating since last season -- and clearly haven't been dissuaded by the constant attacks on kneelers by people like President Donald Trump, who has constantly called for harsh penalties on those who don't stand for the anthem.

But, UCLA head coach Amanda Cromwell has publicly supported the players from the jump.

"It's about supporting the cause of racial justice and equality in the world," the coach said to the Pac-12 Networks last fall.

"I love that our team is socially active. We're politically active and we support them across the board."

You'll remember, Colin Kaepernick started the movement back in 2016 -- but the Bruins joined in the protest shortly after Donald Trump called the kneeling NFLers "sons of bitches" in 2017.

Alex Rodriguez says he's still holding on to his Hall of Fame dream -- even though he knows his PED scandals cut against him -- explaining, "I want to get in, I hope I get in, I pray I get in."

The ex-MLB superstar opened up to Cigar Aficionado (he LOVES cigars) -- and talked about everything from his shot at Cooperstown to Jennifer Lopez and Derek Jeter.

On the Hall of Fame ... A-Rod says:

"There’s rules, and you have to follow the rules. I made those mistakes, and at the end of the day I have to live by those mistakes."

"Whether I get in or not -- and let’s be clear, I want to get in, I hope I get in, I pray I get in -- if I don’t, I think I have a bigger opportunity yet again."

Those "mistakes" he's referring to ... the TWO incidents involving performance-enhancing drugs.

In 2009, he admitted to using PEDs from 2001 to 2003 while playing for the Texas Rangers. And then in 2013, he was busted for PEDs and was suspended for the entire 2014 season.

Despite the scandals, A-Rod is 4th on the MLB All-Time Home Run list, more than 3,000 hits, 14-time All-Star and a 3-time AL MVP. He has some of the greatest stats of all time.

Cynthia Nixon's bid to be the next governor of New York is officially over, 'cause she just lost to incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo ... and it wasn't even close.

Cuomo was projected to beat the "Sex and the City" actress late Thursday by AP, the NYT and others as exit poll numbers poured in throughout the state. He has over 445,000 votes compared to Nixon's 230,000 votes of the count that's currently in. About 33% of the vote has been accounted for so far, and if it continues like this ... Nixon basically got creamed.

Nixon's candidacy began in March on a platform focused on public transportation and immigration. Thursday's result will piss off T.I. -- the rapper is/was a HUGE fan of her plans to legalize weed.

Cynthia got a big fundraising boost from celebs like Alec Baldwin and Chelsea Handler ... though Cuomo raised $12 million in donations compared to Nixon's $2.5M.

The Atlanta Braves know that must suck ... so they're offering free tix to anyone displaced by the storm.

The club says they're happy to host anyone who had to flee from N. Carolina, S. Carolina or affected parts of Georgia as guests to their next 3 home games against the Nationals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

They will also offer certain foods at a discounted price.

Braves CEO Derek Schiller says the club knows "how difficult it has been for those who have had to pack up and leave their homes as the storm approaches."

"The predicted areas that will be affected are in the heart of Braves Country so it hits particularly close to home for us."

"We hope we can take their mind off the storm for a few hours by coming to enjoy a game at SunTrust Park. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are impacted."

The grim reaper has an upcoming trip to "Modern Family" ... 'cause the TV show is reportedly killing off an important character.

"Modern Family" is returning for its 10th season later this month, but apparently someone is going six feet under. Co-creator Christopher Lloyd tells Entertainment Weekly the new season will deal with a family death.

Lloyd is predictably mum about the outgoing character's ID -- start making your list of potential targets -- but he says the person plays a "significant" role and their death will be a moving event with lasting repercussions.
