Published
UPDATE

11:35 AM PT -- 8/18 -- Alyssa has spoken out on the terrifying ordeal she went through with her uncle Tuesday, and while she says she's not sure if he'll be okay ... she is grateful she was at least able to try and save him.

UPDATE

The actress posted a statement, giving thanks to bystanders and others -- especially first-responders who arrived on the scene -- for helping them out after her uncle, Mitch, suffered a heart attack mid-drive ... causing the car they were in to crash. She also thanks the docs and medical team who attended to them after they were transported.

UPDATE

Alyssa says her uncle is a huge part of her life, which makes it all the more sad to hear her say her family is unsure if he will recover. With that said, she also took the opportunity to urge people to get CPR certified ... explaining you never know when you might be called upon, and that the skillset could help save someone's life.

Alyssa Milano might have saved her uncle's life during a scary car accident that could've taken both their lives on an L.A. freeway, reaching over and using her hand to hit the brakes as he suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Alyssa was a passenger Tuesday in a Ford Edge driven by her Uncle, Mitch, who started to have a medical issue. Cops say another vehicle hit theirs as Mitch fell unconscious, suffering what appears to be a heart attack.

Their SUV drifted into another lane and struck another vehicle, but then it came to a stop thanks to Alyssa's quick thinking.

Our sources say she sprung into action from the passenger seat while her uncle was passed out, reaching over him and using her hand to slam the brakes and stop the car. We're told she started giving him CPR until help arrived and first responders took over.

Uncle Mitch was taken to a nearby hospital ... and a rep for Alyssa tells us he's still being treated.

Cops say a couple Good Samaritans stopped to help ... and Alyssa's camp tells us she's grateful for everyone who aided her uncle, including first responders and hospital staff.

Rey Maualuga Crash Scene Photos ... Show Ex-NFL Star's Ride Hit Parked Car Into Tree

Published | Updated

Rey Maualuga is very lucky to be alive today ... 'cause TMZ Sports has obtained crash-scene photos that we're told show the ex-NFL star's ride T-boned a parked car straight into a tree Wednesday.

Maualuga was arrested in Villa Hills, Kentucky ... after cops say he drunkenly plowed through yards and mailboxes and then slammed into a car in his white Mercedes.

And, in photos of the aftermath of the crash, you can see just how fortunate Maualuga was to have avoided tragedy.

The pics show damaged mailboxes in the neighborhood, tire marks in people's grass, and a mangled Mercedes that appears to have hit a Hyundai so hard, it wedged it into a neighbor's tree trunk several yards away.

You can see in the photos, the Mercedes' airbags were deployed ... clearly showing just how fortunate Maualuga was to walk away unscathed.

Rey, though, is now facing some serious trouble regardless ... 'cause after cops took him from the scene, they booked him on multiple charges, including DUI and criminal mischief.

34-year-old Maualuga had already been arrested for DUI on other occasions in the past ... which means he could face serious punishment if he's ultimately charged and convicted.

Maualuga -- who played nine seasons in the NFL from 2009 through 2017 -- is due back in court for a hearing in the case in September.

Clemson Football's Fred Davis Drove 115 MPH And Crashed Into Mail Carrier ... Cops Say

Published | Updated

Clemson football player Fred Davis II was arrested Sunday after cops say he drove 60 MPH over the speed limit and violently crashed into a mail carrier.

Officials say the incident all went down on July 21 in Clemson, SC ... claiming Davis II was going 115 MPH in a 55 MPH zone before he slammed his 2021 Dodge Charger into the rear of a U.S. Mail Carrier truck.

According to officials, the driver of the truck was severely injured in the accident ... and "will require several months or longer for recovery."

The 19-year-old -- who was reportedly somehow not injured in the crash -- was charged with reckless driving and turned himself in to authorities on Sunday.

He was booked into the Clemson City Jail and released after a bond hearing.

A Clemson football spokesperson said in a statement over the weekend the cornerback will remain on the team despite the arrest but "will be subject to internal discipline."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

"Grounds for internal discipline for misdemeanor charges like this are covered under the terms of the Clemson Student-Athlete Handbook, which says that the head coach can recommend a course of action, and upon concurrence of the designated CUAD administrator, administer sanctions," the spokesperson added.

Davis was one of the best high school football recruits in the country in the 2020 class ... and played in 11 games for the Tigers as a true freshman last season.

Before Sunday's arrest, he was expected to compete for a significant role on this year's Clemson squad.

Tiger Woods Putting Weight On Surgically Repaired Leg ... During Trip To L.A.

Published | Updated

Positive update from Tiger Woods ... the golf star is now putting significant weight on his surgically repaired leg -- just five months after the limb was nearly lost in a car crash.

El Tigre was seen in Los Angeles this week with his girlfriend, Erica Herman, and while he's still crutching around and wearing a protective sleeve ... the 45-year-old showed he's clearly able to put most -- if not all of -- his body weight on the leg.

Woods was spotted outside of his Beverly Hills-area hotel standing on the leg, and even appearing to walk a bit on it as well.

Of course, it's great news for Tiger ... 'cause after his rollover crash in L.A. on Feb. 23 -- many wondered if he'd ever be able to use his right leg properly again.

Woods suffered comminuted open fractures during the accident, and needed a rod, screws and pins to repair the damage.

Woods has spent most of his time recovering in Florida ... though he has now made at least two return trips to L.A. since the accident.

It's unclear where Woods stands in his recovery process or if he ever plans to play golf again ... but seeing his apparently improved movement this week is obviously a great step in the right direction for the golf legend.

Terrelle Pryor Involved In Horrifying Bike Accident ... 'Luckily Still Breathing'

Published | Updated

Terrelle Pryor says he crashed his bike Thursday morning -- flipping the thing TWICE -- but, the former NFL star claims he somehow escaped the scary wreck with no major injuries.

It's unclear where the accident took place ... but Pryor posted videos and a picture of the damage done to his three-wheeler in the crash, and it's horrifying.

You can see in the footage, Pryor's bike had severe scrapes, scratches and dents ... and the windshield was completely crushed.

In a comment on the clips, Pryor said, "Flipped twice from this dumb ass car chipping me."

He added, "Luckily still breathing and a scratch."

In a message to TMZ Sports, Pryor reiterated he came away from wreck OK ... saying, "Yea, I'm cool."

Pryor has been seen in the three-wheeler -- a Vanderhall model that runs for around $30,000 -- for the last few months ... even posting some video of him driving the ride with no hands back in May.

Pryor, though, said he will NOT be getting another one after Thursday's accident ... saying he's, "Done with bikes."

Of course, this ain't the first time Pryor has been fortunate to be alive after a terrifying incident ... you'll recall, he somehow made it out OK after he was allegedly violently stabbed by his GF back in Nov. 2019.

Pryor -- who's been out of the NFL since the 2019 season -- has been trying to make a football comeback, though he still remains a free agent.

Tiger Woods Laughing & In Good Spirits Day Before L.A. Crash ... New Video Shows

Published

Tiger Woods showed absolutely no signs of personal strife just 1 day before his February car crash ... laughing and joking with Jada Pinkett Smith out on a golf course.

New footage from Golf Digest shows Tiger was in great spirits less than 24 hours before he badly broke his leg in the roll-over accident ... playing golf and enjoying life.

Tiger was helping the actress with her swing ... and at one point, he even got her to make a birdie -- and celebrated with her with a fist bump and a giant smile.

The two had long conversations about life during the lesson ... ones in which Tiger opened up about his son, Charlie, and his daughter, Sam.

Tiger, at one point, even revealed to Pinkett Smith that he loves to freedive in his time away from golf ... explaining he very much enjoys being in the water.

What's interesting ... 45-year-old Tiger also complained to Pinkett Smith about getting older -- saying his body just isn't holding up the way it used to.

"The body," Tiger told Pinkett Smith, while stretching out his surgically repaired back. "I've had 10 operations."

Golf Digest posted the video Tuesday with officials noting, "This series was filmed on February 22, 2021, the day before Tiger Woods' car accident."

"We're sharing this content with the blessing of Tiger and his guests. We thank everyone for their involvement and wish Tiger a continued speedy recovery."

As we previously reported, Tiger crashed in L.A. county on Feb. 23 ... and suffered severe injuries to his right leg.

He needed a rod, screws and pins to repair the damage ... and he's since called the rehab process "more painful than anything I have ever experienced."

While Tiger has been spotted recently moving around fairly well on crutches ... it's unclear if he has plans to ever play competitive golf again.

Police, meanwhile, have said Woods showed no signs of impairment at the crash scene ... adding that an investigation revealed there was no evidence Tiger was a distracted driver.

FENDER BENDER
UPDATE

2:44 PM PT -- Sam isn't mincing words about what happened in the accident, or who was at fault -- the guy just copped to it being his bad ... but he says there are more important things to remember in times like these.

UPDATE

Check out the video he just posted to social media, giving fans an update to his fender bender. He says it hasn't been more than a few weeks that he's had the whip that was involved, but more importantly ... he admits it was he who's to blame for the run-in.

STAYIN' POSITIVE
UPDATE

Sam doesn't get into the nitty-gritty on the how, but he does provide this useful piece of info ... the other driver is OK, and he seems to be alright as well. Which, really, is the best news one could hope for after something like this. He also thinks this might've been a sign.

UPDATE

On that note, it appears Brit's BF is a bit superstitious ... perhaps stunningly so. He says putting an egg underneath your tire and rolling over it backwards prevents bad luck -- something he apparently gets set to do right before the video cuts out.

UPDATE

Never heard of that one before, but do what you gotta do, bud ... be safe out there!

While Britney Spears is confidently taking on family members and haters, her BF's week is off to a rough start ... after getting into an accident near the singer's house.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Sam Asghari had what amounts to a fender bender Monday with a woman driving a Saturn about 10 minutes away from Britney's home in Thousand Oaks, CA.

It's unclear what exactly led to the crash, but we're told Sam's Jeep struck the other driver's car, there were no injuries and nobody was cited. You can see in the video we obtained police talking to Sam about it.

The driver of the Saturn appeared to be sitting in her backseat while cops spoke to Sam ... who drives a Jeep Rubicon.

The crash comes after Britney's weekend of blasting haters who criticized her for posting her home dance videos. She basically told 'em, love it or leave it -- "I'm not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think!!!!"

She also took aim at her sister, Jamie Lynn, for having performed a medley of Britney tunes during a 2017 award show.

That newly public family battle comes as Brit and her new attorney, Mathew Rosengart, continue her battle to remove her father as a conservator.

High-Flying Crash Dashcam Shows Car Launch into Air ... Flips, Smashes Down!!!

Published | Updated

The 'Fast and Furious' crew's got nothing on this driver ... who is miraculously alive after her car flew through the air -- nearly clipping power lines -- and crashed back down on a highway.

The video was captured by the dash camera of another driver who had impeccable timing. Last Wednesday, they were driving on Highway 99 in Yuba City, CA ... when suddenly a white compact vehicle came flying over an embankment!!!

It looked exactly like a scene out of 'Dukes of Hazzard' -- but there's was added danger from power lines!!! Yeah, the car appears to have threaded the needle, narrowly missing the lines as it flew, flipped and smashed down onto the highway.

The family whose camera captured the scene immediately called 911, and cops say the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment. Not only did she survive, but we're told she walked out of the hospital after somehow suffering only minor injuries.

Police tell us alcohol was not a factor. An eyewitness told Sacramento's CBS13 the car had sped by his business moments before it failed to maneuver a sharp turn. Instead, it went off the road, up the embankment and into the air.

Wow.

'After We Collided' Star Inanna Sarkis Wrecks Tesla, Fence ... After Solo Car Crash

Published

Looks like actress Inanna Sarkis just learned, the hard way, how much horsepower her Tesla's packing .. after seriously damaging her ride and a homeowner's fence in a solo car crash.

The "After We Collided" star smashed her white Tesla Model X into someone's front yard fence earlier this week in the San Fernando Valley. A witness tells us she was the only person in the SUV.

It's unclear what exactly caused the crash but our sources say the Model X -- which was a gift from her BF, Matthew Noszka -- barreled into the home's front yard, taking out a brick pillar and a huge chunk of the iron fence.

We're told Matthew showed up to the scene minutes after the accident and picked her up ... leaving the Tesla behind for a tow truck.

It's unclear if Inanna suffered any injuries. We haven't heard back from her camp.

Inanna became famous as a social media star from Canada, but in recent years she's had success in film and TV. She's best known for playing Molly Samuels in the 2019 Netflix film "After" ... starring Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Selma Blair. She was also in the sequel, "After We Collided."

She made her big-screen debut in Tyler Perry's "Boo 2! A Madea Halloween."

Oh and, if you're curious ... Inanna's Tesla Model X peaks at 1,020 horsepower. Or it will, once it's out of the shop.

NFL's Drew Lock Lug Nut Smashes Into QB's Car ... But Broncos Star Avoids Catastrophe

Published

Drew Lock is VERY fortunate to be uninjured today ... cops say a stray lug nut smashed into the QB's windshield on the road on Wednesday -- but, thankfully, it didn't hurt the NFL star.

The Kansas Highway Patrol assisted Lock after his car had the run in with the wheel nut ... and in pictures they posted, you can see just how close Lock was to catastrophe.

The nut hit the Denver Broncos signal-caller's ride so hard ... it wedged itself into the glass, causing major damage and nearly shattering the whole thing.

Lock, though, walked away from it all just fine ... and even took a smiling picture afterward with the officers who helped him out!!

One of the KHP troopers who was on the scene told KDVR after the incident that he believed Lock's athleticism played a role in keeping him safe throughout the ordeal.

"He did what we want," the trooper said. "He was alert. He was quick to react and start taking the actions needed to keep himself and others safe."

Props to Drew for staying calm ... now breathe easy, Broncos fans!

George Lopez Car Careens into His Restaurant ... Multiple Injuries

Published

George Lopez's Chingon Kitchen turned into George Lopez's Car Crash Kitchen ... when a pickup truck smashed into the comedian's restaurant, leaving behind a huge mess!!!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a driver ran a stop sign Tuesday outside The Brews Hall in Torrance, CA, hitting another car, causing it to spin out of control and sending it crashing into George's joint.

We're told the drivers of the 2 cars were injured, as well as a passenger and a pedestrian ... all 4 were taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. No one inside the restaurant was hurt.

As you can see, there's lots of broken glass, busted frames and smashed-up storage racks from where the car crashed into the front entrance, making for a pretty big cleanup job.

Sounds like George and the restaurant's other investors, including Colin Cowherd, dodged a bullet here ... we're told the building was not red-tagged and the biz will remain open.

In fact, Davis later told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the whole thing was "no big deal" ... adding he was going to get the car repaired this week.

We're sure Davis -- who's reportedly worth more than $500 MILLION -- found some other mode of transportation to the party Thursday night ... which, by the looks of things, was VERY good for the Raiders honcho.

Celebs in attendance at the event included Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, Usher and more ... clearly a party Davis was thrilled to be at!!

Jimmy Graham I Was Going 90 MPH Before I Flipped My Car ... In Wild March Crash

Published

Jimmy Graham is VERY fortunate to be alive today ... the NFL star told reporters he was going NINETY MPH before flipping his car in that terrifying rollover March accident.

Graham walked away from the wreck in the Miami area unscathed ... but when he broke it all down for media members at his press conference Tuesday, it's truly hard to fathom how he wasn't seriously injured in the crash.

The 34-year-old says it all initially happened because he saw a cop car going down an off-ramp with its reverse lights on.

"He was reversing," the Chicago Bears tight end said. "So I got over two lanes and, you know, the sun is kind of coming up, and as I go up over that hill, I'm looking at the cop and when I look up, there's a disabled vehicle on the center lane."

"And I'm going about 90. So, probably about 15 yards away, so I swerved to the left and barely missed him, but I was headed for a bridge so I had to make kind of a last-minute decision and decided to turn right and flip it to avoid jumping that thing."

Graham says cops told him he rolled his vehicle over FOUR times and skidded on his roof for about 100 yards.

Somehow, though, Jimmy says he and his dog were able to simply get out of the ride after it came to a stop and walk away.

"Sparks and glass is going everywhere and I'm just sitting there in the seat belt," Jimmy said. "I get out the seat belt and I'm on the roof kind of hollering for my dog. I don't hear her so I get out and she's in the back and we just walked way."

"Couple hours later, ended up flying [out for a charity event]. So, it was a wild one."

Graham added that he's super thankful for the Miami area authorities who responded to the crash ... saying he felt "obviously extremely lucky" to have avoided tragedy.

Tiger Woods Returns to L.A. After Car Crash Moving Pretty Well on Crutches!!!

BACK IN L.A.

Tiger Woods is back in Los Angeles just 4 months after that horrific crash -- and for a guy who almost lost his leg, he seems to be moving around pretty well!

The golf legend's private jet touched down at an L.A. airport on Monday -- he was joined by his girlfriend, Erica Herman.

Once they deplaned, 45-year-old Tiger -- sporting a black compression sleeve on his right leg -- was moving around on his own, using a pair of crutches.

You can see in the video ... there are moments where Tiger is putting some pressure on the injured leg, though he's still moving with a noticeable limp, as expected.

No word on why Tiger is in town -- it's possible he's here for follow-up treatments with some of the doctors who initially worked on the leg, but we just don't know.

As we previously reported, Woods was very badly hurt during the Feb. 23 crash -- suffering comminuted open fractures in his right leg, which means the bone was shattered in at least 2 places and broke through the skin.

The crash report described the injuries in detail -- "knocked unconscious, laceration to the lower front jaw, bruised right and left rib cage, fractured right tibia and fibula, possible right ankle injury."

A team of surgeons used a rod, screws and pins to stabilize the injuries -- and after weeks of treatment, he was discharged and allowed to go home in mid-March.

He's been recovering at his home in Florida ever since -- but now he clearly feels well enough to travel.

Woods told Golf Digest in May the rehab process is "more painful than anything I have ever experienced."

Still unclear if Tiger will ever play golf again -- either professionally or recreationally -- but the fact he's moving around seems like a good sign.
