Flavor Flav Fireworks Criminal Case Fizzles
The cosmos has finally aligned for Flavor Flav, because he’s off the hook for a fireworks show cops claimed was criminal.
Flav got busted for setting off 100 lbs. of illegal fireworks last July 4th at his Las Vegas pad.
The D.A.'s office wanted more info on the bust from Vegas cops. But time passed and the info didn't come, so prosecutors tossed the case.
It's a lucky break for the Public Enemy rapper, who’s been busted for harboring this type of ammo several times in the past.
Flav has never seemed phased by the threat of prosecution for setting off bottle rockets ... and the 4th is just around the corner.

He wasn't in the joint long, but Rick's gotta take the prize for most generous prisoner of all time!
Rick Ross Carb Danger Behind Bars
Rick Ross had a close call in jail Wednesday ... in mortal danger of gaining back some of the pounds he lost.
As TMZ reported, Ross was busted for pot possession near Atlanta and was hauled off to jail. As the hours ticked away, Ross got hungry. The challenge: eating something that did not compromise his recent 100 pound weight loss.
The 2 slices of turkey made sense. A slice of cheese never killed anyone. The juice pack is loaded with sugar, but it's small. Ditto the "Oreo-like cookie."
But then comes the starch ... a staple in the pokey. Rick was tempted not once, not twice, but to 4 slices of bread.
Rick's now a free man and back to his diet which is pear heavy. Pears ... they're better to eat than emulate.

Jim Jones and Juelz Santana made a run for the border, but got turned away -- and now, they'd like an IOU for half a mil from the Canadian border patrol agents who forced them to nix their tour.
Jim and Juelz were denied entry to Canada on Wednesday, due to their rap sheets. Jim tells TMZ ... he and Juelz were about to start an 11 date tour with their buddy Trav, but when their van pulled up to the crossing at Buffalo, NY -- Canadian agents said, no dice.

- Another arrest for terrorist threats (2011)
Jim Jones
- Arrested for casino brawl (2012)
- Arrested for DWI (2013)

He says canceling the tour will end up costing them about $500k -- so, yeah ... they're pissed. As Trav put it -- moments after getting turned away -- "Feel like some fugitives, man."
